We had SUCH a lovely evening here! I was a little surprised at the low ratings, most of which seemed to focus on service. We were greeted as if we were returning regulars, happily given the table we asked for and immediately asked if we wanted drinks before dinner. Our meal was wonderful-langostinos and oysters and steak and wine. Followed by a pavlova that was exactly what a pavlova should be-light but flavorful. The setting was great -right next to the port and we were joined by others who seemed to be very familiar with this place. One of the nicest meals we’ve had this week in Brittany!

Following a wonderful meal at the Cafe du Port, we stopped here for a drink. We had also realised that it was not easy to find a taxi back to Benodet from Saint Marine. The waiter (over man in black shirt) asked how he could help at the door. We replied and said we would like a glass of wine, and some help with a taxi number explaining that otherwise we were stuck with no transport. The man became angry “I have customers to serve and am busy, I will get you a number just sit down”. I was amazed at his temper. We had our wine, the man never came to see us and we made alternate arrangements for transport. This angry little man was rude and a very bad advertisement for this restaurant. I will never go back and he should be in a job where customers are not present.

As someone with lots of dietary restrictions, I was thrilled that this place not only had reservations available online but a menu, too! We laughed with the waiters’ jokes, our food was delicious (the vegetarian plate is more than just a salad!), and the view of Benodet was unbeatable. Highly recommend!

Pretty average tbh. Food was okay but not amazing. Slow service. Lovely view. Took 8 years to get the bill :)

Cold and hectic atmosphere, food was pretty expensive but good, unfortunately disturbed by extremely stressed service.

Bonjour, J’ai déjeuné avec une amie dans votre restaurant, nous avons pris le menu du jour qui était délicieux et copieux. Nous avons été très bien accueillies dans une ambiance très calme et agréable. Nous reviendrons. À souligner la régularité du service et de la qualité de la cuisine puisque je suis déjà venue à plusieurs reprises en famille le dimanche midi ou en soirée avec des amis. Ne changez pas ou en mieux, si c’est encore possible 😉
