"In a cobbled street in the old town near the Basilique St Epvre, this is a lovely, relaxed little spot run by a young chef who has already travelled the world. Taking the form of a lunchtime set menu and a slightly more expensive à la carte menu in the evening, the dishes served in this bistro are generous and appetising – think fried artichokes, Cantal cheese foam and confit egg yolk or ribeye steak (for an extra charge) with faro and broccoli risotto. What a great place! Tiny little restaurant but with tables in the street outside. Service was friendly and helpful but the food was outstanding. Real thought has been put into every course. I had the chilli cheese starter followed by the gnocchi. Although I’m not a vegetarian, I really appreciated how delicious this dish was and not just a run of the mill vegetarian option. I’d highly recommend you try this place but you’d better book or you may not get in - it’s clearly very popular (for good reason)

Ça fait maintenant un bon moment que je viens manger ici, et à chaque visite c’est un vrai plaisir. C’est devenu mon endroit préféré pour découvrir de nouvelles saveurs : la cuisine est toujours créative, maîtrisée, et on sent un vrai souci du détail dans chaque assiette. Il y a toujours une petite touche qui surprend, et c’est exactement ce que je recherche. Le service est impeccable. L’équipe est souriante, professionnelle, et toujours disponible pour conseiller ou orienter. On se sent vraiment accueilli, jamais pressé, et l’ambiance est toujours chaleureuse. C’est rare de trouver un restaurant qui reste aussi constant dans la qualité, que ce soit dans l’assiette ou dans l’expérience. Une adresse qui mérite largement sa réputation et que je recommande à 100 %.
