Bistrot Instinct

First time in Paris – and we headed straight to dinner at Bistrot Instinct. While the menu doesn’t offer many options, every dish we ordered was truly excellent. We started with the artichoke with goat cheese cream and the fish – both were flavorful and beautifully presented. For mains, we had the meat and the fish – both cooked to perfection with well-balanced flavors. For dessert, we shared the rice pudding, which was rich, comforting, and just sweet enough – a perfect ending to the meal. My husband had a beer and I enjoyed a lovely glass of rosé wine. Service was excellent – our waiter was friendly, attentive, and very sweet. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a quiet dinner. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

Absolutely outstanding. Bistrot Instinct is a hidden gem in Paris. The food was inventive, flavorful, and beautifully presented—modern French cuisine at its best. Instinct bistro welcomed us with incredibly nice and helpful staff. We had special dietary restrictions and they managed to guide us through the menu and recommend interesting options. We were totally enchanted by the appetizers, but only after them did the real feast begin. We took the dish for two and loved it! We have never eaten such tender pork complemented by those aromatic sides. Chapeau bas!

This is the one restaurant that caught our eye before we got to Paris. I had made a reservation early and noted that one guest had a gluten allergy. The food was was delicious and inventive, such as beef stuff ravioli with a gochujang sauce. The menu is limited and I'm sure set each week (or maybe each day?). Given the gluten allergy that is my only draw back to our experience as there was just the fish dish available for a gluten free option. Having said that the fish was excellent! We had a fantastic experience which included very nice wines, cheese and brandy and a complimentary digestif!

What a way to start our time in Paris -lunch at Bistrot Instinct! My husband and I ordered a variety of dishes - asparagus with an Asian twist, goat cheese two ways, a tart with duck cooked two ways, and the filet. The waiter gave the perfect suggestion for how the meat should be cooked. This meal was one of the best we had on our entire three week trip in Europe. The staff was extremely helpul and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and modern. I hope to go back at some point and see what new dishes they are cooking up!

A cozy restaurant with top-notch food and cocktails. The food was creative and delicate - using different tastes and textures but they go along so well. The scallop we ordered was a combination of several sweet flavors which I hope could have been better balanced out by savory flavor, but was happy in general. Would visit encore!

A charming, friendly restaurant. I have to say that my wife's lunch (plat du jour, fish) was fantastic - a definite 5 stars in both of our opinions. It was surprising, creative and delicious. I ordered the gnocchi. I will not describe it in detail as I don't want to be rude. It was awful, the whole much, much less than the sum of its parts.

Tried out their lunch menu, overall food was okay, starter was a savoury carrot cake and the main was mussels with curry. The carrot cake was a bit hard and dry but the main had a very special flavour with the fusion of curry. Service was good and friendly!
