Visited Bite in NoHo for a quick lunch with my husband today, and the experience was disappointing. I’ve enjoyed the 14th Street location, but this one missed the mark.
We ordered a sabih sandwich, hummus and falafel platter, and a Pellegrino. The seating area was sparse and uncomfortable, but we made do. Unfortunately, our wait was unexpectedly long—about 30 minutes. We noticed others, who ordered after us, receiving their food first. My husband checked, and it turned out someone had taken our order due to a lack of verification procedures. So, they remade everything, but it took another 10 minutes.
When we finally received our food, the pita in my sandwich was hard and nearly inedible. The hummus platter was cute but very small for $11. Overall, we spent 45 minutes and $27 for a less-than-satisfying meal. The lack of organization and quality issues make it unlikely we’ll return to this location.
