The 7 Best Chicken Caesar Wraps In SF

"Bite is an in-and-out sandwich shop in Lower Nob Hill with plump chicken caesar wraps that could double as a hot water bottle in a pinch. The wraps are served warm and stuffed with evenly covered romaine and chicken, house croutons, and enough parmesan that you get a dusting of the stuff in each bite. It might not be the most worldview-altering wrap you’ve ever eaten, but it’s half the price of most other chicken caesars in town at $11. In the non-CCW department, the counter-service spot also serves deli sandwiches, salads, rotisserie chickens, and soups." - julia chen 1, patrick wong, ricky rodriguez

Bite Review - Lower Nob Hill - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Bite is an in-and-out sandwich shop in Lower Nob Hill with solid chicken caesar wraps that could double as a hot water bottle in a pinch. The wraps are served warm and stuffed with romaine and chicken that have been evenly coated in dressing, crumbly house croutons, and enough parmesan that you get a dusting of the stuff on your shirt with each bite. It's not the most worldview-altering wrap you’ve ever eaten, but it’s half the price of many other chicken caesars in town at $10.99. In the non-CCW department, there's also deli sandwiches, salads, rotisserie chicken, and soups." - Julia Chen

Bite Review - Tahoe - The Infatuation

"Tapas may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you’re in an American mountain town, but Bite serves up some extremely delicious small plates. There’s usually a can’t-miss scallop dish on the menu (with stuff like red Thai curry, grits, and housemade kimchi), and a chef’s special daily tartar. Maybe it’s just that the tables are smaller and closer together, but it feels hipper and more intimate than most restaurants in Tahoe. The small-but-inventive cocktail menu helps, too. I was staying at Hotel Julian next door and fell in love with this place! The girls were so sweet and made the best sandwiches and wraps. The Cuban should be permanently on the menu! It was delicious. The California Hillbilly was phenomenal as well with a little kick. I had that with spinach tortilla. The cookie, pickle, potato salad, and humous were all amazing as well. Highly recommend!

My favorite sandwich shop! ❤️ They're so many great options on the menu to choose from! So far, I'm really diggin' both the Firecracker(shown in picture) and the Sleeper sandwiches. They do not skimp out on the sandwiches and they are packed with flavor. So delicious! Bite also has a selection of beverages and chips to choose from, if you wish to do so. Also, the service is quick and friendly! Overall, a 5/5! I highly recommend given this place a try.

I went here craving a crunchy, toasty and delicious sandwich. It was in fact, a sandwich. So.. yeah. Did it hit the spot? Not really. But it was food. I had expectations of maybe a more substantial amount of meat, especially for the price. When I went to order the girl cut me off and handed me the order the sheet, seemingly by rote. I found that strange and detached. I think this city has a lot of tantalizing options in regards to a sandwich. Maybe I’ll come back and try the chicken, though. That looks great.

Get food. Prices are reasonable. Sandwiches are big enough to split for two meals. They make good food here.

I recently visited Bite in San Francisco and was thoroughly impressed. Their sandwiches start with freshly baked bread from the Italian district, providing the perfect foundation. The highlight, though, was their succulent rotisserie chicken, which added incredible flavor and tenderness to my sandwich. The staff's dedication to using only the finest ingredients shines through in every bite. Bite's commitment to quality makes it a standout spot for an exceptional sandwich experience.

October 2024: Stopped by for a sandwich at 430pm in the afternoon. Decided on a tuna sandwich on a Dutch crunch roll. Everything was tasty. Service was friendly. Would consider coming back again for more sandwiches 🥪.

The food was alright, but the extensive cross-contamination unsettled me, so I won’t be going back. The worker in the back went from washing dishes and handling dirty sponges to making ready-to-eat food without washing hands or changing gloves. She then handled electronics while in the middle of preparing food (with those same unwashed, unchanged gloves!). If the workers seemed friendlier, I probably would have said something in the moment, but I didn’t feel like starting a fight. Just hoping I don’t get sick like others seem to have in the last month or so.

We saw the good reviews and tried it out. Unfortunately we found dead flies in our salad and a very sharp chicken bone in the wrap, threw them away before we even start eating the salad and half way through the burrito, so 1 star for the wasted $. All the veggies were dry and looked like they were cleaned and left somewhere hours before we got them. We got a burrito wrap, a small toast sandwich and a salad for $43 plus tip and it wasn’t worth it… (plus a $20 Uber roundtrip because we called prior and were told that it wasn’t possible to park outside to get an order which actually was and many people did it) . The spinach tortilla, chicken and turkey were good but we hope we didn’t eat dead flies too as we didn’t really open our sandwiches to check what we’re eating. All due respect to the effort on the business, focusing on quality over quantity will ensure your longevity.
