Bites and Bashes Cafe has a very creative and amazing menu with tons of variety. Breakfast burritos loaded with juicy Korean BBQ beef.. home run. The food is as pretty as it is delicious. The pancakes are so big and fluffy with ube syrup that rivals anything you get in Hawaii. The menu has all sorts of creative breakfast and lunch items that make it really hard to order because there are so many intriguing items.. the salads and sandwiches look amazing and there are Korean inspired entrees, noodles, fried rice, and lots of fun appetizers. There are about 10 tables inside and more seating outside. The coffee and tea was also very good passing the latte test with flying colors. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes as this is a unique menu and they put a ton of care and love into the food.

This place is a gem! All the food is made lovingly from scratch, you can tell that it was freshly made with attention to detail, it’s all so incredibly delicious you can’t go wrong. As you can see by my images we kept ordering as it’s all so delicious!!

Must try if you like good food! I was very happy I chose this place for my birthday breakfast. I was looking forward to it all week and the KBBq burrito did not disappoint. It was so tasty with beef bugolgi inside. Highly recommend checking them out.

The Shakshuka was really good. Nothing to say about it. But the American breakfast was opposite 😭 Idk how but the bacon was way too sweet and kinda threw the taste off & the eggs came without any seasoned so the meal tasted unbalance. Hope this can be better next time.

Andrea is so sweet and attentive, the food was amazing, we got a free extra iced latte, and the other coffees we ordered were so yummy. we added on extra baguette slice later and the guava margarita which were all so yummy. 🙂‍↔️⭐️🤍

Came and visited this place last week. I went because a food reviewer had mentioned that it was the most underrated breakfast burritos in LA and in the South Bay especially, so I had to see what the hype was all about. I must say that the customer service was extremely personable. I’ve never had the opportunity to talk to the chef face to face who followed up with on the food that they just made for me. You can tell that this family really cares about not only their business process from A to Z, but how they an impact on every single person who walks through their door. The KBBQ Breakfast Burrito is highly recommended in my opinion. I’ve never had a BB that tasted like that before. A unique layer of flavors with a twist on what is now an LA staple in terms of what this city is known for. Their coffee is top notch as well! Local coffee beans if I recall from our conversation. Check this place out if you’re a South Bay resident or if you’re in the area for the day. You won’t be disappointed!

We tried the Mediterranean omelet and the All-American breakfast this morning. As someone who’s actually from the Mediterranean, I can say the Mediterranean omelet was nowhere close to an authentic version. The scrambled eggs in the All-American breakfast were honestly the worst I’ve had. The pancake came topped with colorful sprinkles, which felt unnecessary and odd. Other than the coffee, everything we ate felt low quality. It was a low-protein, high-sugar kind of breakfast that didn’t really deliver on flavor. I’ve traveled to many countries and tried cuisines from all over the world, so I genuinely don’t understand how this place has a 4.9 rating. The best thing by far was the coffee. The tables were dirty—I ended up wiping the one we sat at myself. I noticed other customers ordering sandwiches, so maybe their sandwiches or burritos are better, but based on this experience, it’s definitely not a place I’d visit a second time. But the staff was very kind and polite, which I appreciated.

Small and cozy cafe. Tasty mix of Filipino and American cuisine. Enjoyed the coffee and cocktails too.

We went to this cute cafe to grab a breakfast burrito and they had a whole separate menu of breakfast burrito options. We got the classic and the chilaquiles - and both were excellent (the chilaquiles was our favorite). We also got the Ube Lava pancakes and they were incredible. Service was very nice, prices were good and we ate outside on the patio with our little pup. We will be back regularly.

Hadn't been here in years so my hubby and I went for breakfast. Truly disappointed. Overpriced with beyond hard frozen tater tots. The omelette was okay and the drinks looked pretty but my cold latte looked like an horchata. Won't be back at all. I like súplicas small restaurants but for $18 plates I want to be able to eat my sides.

My husband found this cute little spot on Yelp and was really excited to try it, so we went on a Saturday for lunch. Even though we walked in around noon, the place wasn't crowded. If you are dining in you can sit down with a menu and when you're ready you go up to the cashier to order. We sat down and ordered a few things to try: Shakshuka ($17.95) - A sunny-side up egg, sweet peppers, turkey sausage, scallions, house fennel, and arrabiatta. This dish was really pretty with the flower petals sprinkled on top, but I was looking for eggs cooking in Hell. Adding the turkey sausage threw me off (I'm used to no meat in it), but it added flavor and extra protein. This dish wasn't overly salted, the bread was nicely crusted, and overall I'd say this dish was on the sweet side, which I didn't enjoy, but I still think it was a decent meal. Taco Truck Burrito ($16.95) - A Korean spicy pork al pastor with pineapple, chopped kimchi, rice, eggs, and scallions. This was my least favorite dish. I don't think the pineapple worked well with the meat, it was too acidic and pineapple doesn't taste good combined with most things. My husband didn't like this dish at all. The last dish we got was their Ube Lava Pancakes ($14.75) - Buttermilk pancakes, ube syrup, toasted coconut, berries. My husband thought the pancakes were made with ube, not smothered in an ube sauce, which tells me he didn't read the description too well. This was pretty good. A little to sweet for my liking, but I liked it the most out of the three dishes we bought. We think the syrup was made with condensed milk and I'm not a fan of coconut but really enjoyed the shavings on top. The berries on top were three raspberries. This place isn't suited for big parties, but for a more intimate or family setting. Parking can be found on Narbonne, or there's some residential area's nearby where you may be able to find something. Otherwise, Lando's hair salon isn't too far by and they have a parking lot - You just gotta walk about five or six doors down.

Bites & Bashes is a cute little breakfast spot run by a mother-daughter duo, using produce from their family farm. The menu comes off as Asian-Mexican fusion with burritos and bulgogi items. We had the ube lava pancakes, Korean breakfast, crack fries, and the CFO. The ube lava pancakes comes with three moist, fluffy pancake generously drizzled with ube syrup and coconut flakes. This was soo good! The Korean breakfast is a skillet of beef bulgogi, onion, peppers, and two eggs over rice. It was a very satisfy and delicious comfort food. The CFO is a burrito with scrambled eggs, pork, beans, rice, and scallions. I tried a little of it and it was pretty good. The crack fries are a great appetizer. Service was really great and we got to meet the owners: Crystal, the daughter, and the mom, Chef Julie.

Holy bulgogi! I'm going to rave about a dish that my husband actually got and he let me try several bites from. The Philly cheesesteak was so delicious. I think most people are familiar with Philly cheesesteak but, with bulgogi is a game changer! Bulgogi is of Korean origin and translates to "fire meat." Thin sliced meat marinated with soy sauce, sesame oil, onion, garlic, ginger, etc. The sandwich also had provolone cheese. As for the dish that I actually got, it was the original breakfast burrito. Yes, I can eat these any time of the day and so it was for a late lunch. Solid burrito with the eggs, cheddar, tater tots, scallions and their tasty house salsa on the side. I ate half of it and saved the rest which was great later. Good burritos are easy to find in greater Los Angeles so, I think next time I may try the bulgogi breakfast burrito. The service was okay. We caught them an hour prior to closing so perhaps the employee was tired and ready to head home soon. There were only two other people dining in at the time. They do close at 3PM as they do their catering work in the PM. They have their own parking lot just a short walk down the street with their signage along with their parked catering vans. The dining area is cute and inviting with the gold chairs. They also have ube pancakes, salads and an extensive coffee menu but, I will very likely return and explore more of the savory Korean dishes. (The KBBQ breakfast burrito and Korean breakfast) For now, 4 stars!

Found this restaurant on Yelp and I loved it! However, I'll share the cons first: it's in a neighborhood and there's only street parking. Oh well, you know you need more steps. The burritos and omelets come with tater tots, so also ordering the crack fries, makes no sense! But the menu doesn't tell you the burritos come with tots. It was too much! The pros: the customer service was impeccable from the moment we walked in until we left. The people sitting next to us asked for a million extra things and each request was met with an enthusiastic "of course", "you bet!", "absolutely". The server suggested a chai tea latte with an added shot of espresso (not on the menu) and it was delicious. The food was fine. We had omelets and burritos, which is hard to mess up. But the service and ambience were top tier. 10/10 highly recommend.

This place is a very pleasant hidden gem. I'm always on the hunt for breakfast burritos and this place wasn't even on my radar, until Matthew Kang from Eater posted about it on Instagram. Ventured my way over immediately after and found myself in a quaint neighborhood in Lomita. Okay, so the breakfast burrito menu is entirely new from my understanding. See the photos attached because that's the most important part. Chef Julie Coser came up with an amazing assortment of exciting, flavor-packed burritos and I'm excited to go down the list one-by-one every visit. I went for the original to get a baseline reference - because if you can't get a regular brekkie burrito right, you can't venture out into the funky territory. I'm happy to say that this breakfast burrito, paired with the AMAZING salsa verde and pico de gallo, was a hit. The burrito was NOT greasy, which is a huge plus - very fresh, clean, and very balanced. I killed the burrito in just a few minutes. The main con is the price, which I'll be quite honest about - it's a tad too high. Compared to Phanny's - the Southbay's darling breakfast burrito spot - it's a few bucks higher, which makes it a bit harder to recommend. For reference, a regular bacon burrito from Phanny's is $11, while a three-meat burrito with avocado (which is really pushing it) is around $15. Compare that to Bites&Bashes' new menu, and some burritos start above $15. I'm not sure how I feel about this because I know the ingredients are great, and the flavors are all there - but assuming you grab a burrito, maybe a cookie or another side and a drink, and suddenly breakfast can be up to $30-35 a person. Nonetheless, I haven't had the other premium burritos as I mentioned - so value rests in the eye of the beholder. This place was amazing and the service was very positive. If they were cooking up breakfast burritos on Sunday I'd be coming way more often.

This is suuuuch a cute local business. It's owned by a mother/daughter pair. The food is amazing - especially the breakfast burritos. The lattes were also perfect and the ube pancakes were a surprise to see on the menu and so delicious. We went early on a weekend and had no wait. We sat with our dog outside and enjoyed everything. Easy street parking nearby. We will absolutely be back! Go support this great small business.

Cutest cafe, service was great, and the food was cooked perfectly! Absolutely delicious, flavors were perfectly balanced. And beautifully presented. Highly recommend, and will definitely be coming back here.

Cute little breakfast spot in Lomita, tried it for the first time with a friend. There is seating both inside and outside with parking on the street. Be careful if you visit on a Wednesday, as that is street cleaning day and there are posted times when you should not park on a certain side of the street. Decor in the dining area is minimal and clean. You order at the counter and they bring your food to where you are seated. Everyone we encountered on staff was really nice and they tried to be helpful as I figured out what to eat. They don't recommend making substitutions, probably because the dishes are best "as is". I completely understand but it does limit options for someone who does not eat red meat. No matter...I settled on the shakshuka "as is", and it was delicious AND beautifully presented. My friend had the breakfast burrito and she enjoyed that, too. This place will definitely be in our list of options when we're in the mood for food!

Mix of a bunch of different cultures' food. We stopped by here for brunch. The menu seemed interesting...flavors from all over the globe. Shakshuka (sunny-side up eggs, sweet peppers, arrabbiata, house fennel turkey sausage) - a North African/Middle Eastern breakfast chili served on a cast iron skillet. It was luscious; a combination of flavors with the toasted bread dipping into the chili with running eggs was perfect. Soft Scrambled Breakfast Sandwich (fines herbs, bacon, Sriracha aioli, cheddar brioche) - really scrumptious, but you have to add ketchup (big difference). The sweet, juicy bacon gave a nice little extra umph to each bit. Matcha Lemonade, Lavender Lemonade - very refreshing. More on the lemonade side. Both tasting similar, but one has a light matcha sense.

Quaint little neighborhood spot. Order at the counter and you'll get a number to take to your table. We ordered the All American Breafast and the Kale Caesar Salad. The kale salad was brimming with vibrant radishes and edible flower petals, and the croutons and crispy quinoa brought a nice crunch to each bite. The All American Breakfast was a standard stack of fluffy pancakes, but my only complaint here was that the pancakes were on the small side, and the meal only came with 1 and a half strips of bacon. Not even two strips? Not exactly a hearty breakfast. That was a little disappointing considering the price. Everything still tasted great though. The owner/chef chatted with our table for and informed us that she has a local garden and grows some of the produce used in the menu! Genuinely happy to support that dedication to the craft and commitment to fresh ingredients.

Maybe it's because I ordered takeout rather than dining in at the restaurant but my order was rather underwhelming. I was in the area running an errand and figured I'd try someplace that was on my list of new places to try. I was looking at the Nook and Bashes but decided on this restaurant since it was a bit closer. The reviews looked promising and my wife loves ube pancakes so I called in my order. I ordered the lava ube pancakes for my wife and the All American Breakfast for myself. I was rather disappointed that sausage wasn't available with my meal, only bacon. When I arrived, I planned on paying with a card but their system was down and couldn't authorize my payment after 2 tries. Luckily, I always carry some cash for situations like these or establishments that only take cash or check. The young lady at the counter was very polite and apologetic about not being able to make a credit payment so no problems with service. I'd give them a 5 for their courtesy and friendly attitude. Upon arriving home and opening the bag, I was really disappointed to see the small portions given for the price paid. Maybe the quality would make up for the lack of quantity? Well...nope. The pancakes were not only undersized but were not very fluffy. They had the consistency of breakfast pancakes served of my burger joint,Yorgo's, in my neighborhood for a lot less. I had to chuckle at the dollop of scrambled eggs they gave me. The one thing that impressed me was their glazed bacon that had just the right amount of sweetness and a touch of heat to make it special. The ube syrup on the lava pancakes was tasty but as I mentioned previously, the actual pancakes were not fluffy but rather chewy and undersized. The restaurant itself is cute and charming but having stopped in for takeout, didn't really influence my rating. $14.75 for the ube pancakes with no sides and $15.75 for a standard breakfast with small pancakes, a tiny portion of eggs, and 2 slices of bacon (though very tasty) are not a deal by any stretch of the imagination. I would have been a lot happier just going to the Pan in Gardena. They've never disappointed me like this. I hope those of you who dine in have better luck than I did with takeout here.

This place just opened in lomita at a corner of a quiet street. The chef is a CORDON BLEU-TRAINED chef and few of their menu were asian inspired like vegetable dumplings and coconut shrimp, ube lava pancakes. They also have Latin inspired dishes like Chef Julio's omelette and Mexican salad. Some Mediterranean choices as well. I ordered the Philly cheese bulgogi sandwich with cracked fries and the green goddess salad. My friend and I shared it and it was pretty good!

Wanting breakfast led me straight to Bites & Bashes, I was ready and excited because I knew this place was going to make my toes wiggle and it did lol. We ordered the All American which was pancakes, bacon and eggs with cheese. I omitted the bacon in hopes of being able to sub but that wasn't an option unfortunately. We also ordered the Mediterranean Omelet, an iced Rose Latte and a Horchata shaken espresso (only comes iced). My apologies I totally forgot to take pictures of our order because we devoured this breakfast without thought, was it good??? Absolutely!!. The pancakes were moist and fluffy, the cheese eggs were soft, buttery and scrambled to perfection. The Mediterranean omelet was super good and it came with tater tots. I loved the mix of the orange and yellow tomatoes, the feta was great( feta makes life betta), the tater tots were just ok.. just your regular unseasoned tots. Now, the coffee.. the Horchata was super delicious!! Definitely recommend, the only thing I would change is the sweetness. I would request more of the Horchata to give me more sweetness, but it was still very delicious. The Rose Latte was disappointing, the rose syrup used had a strong not so pleasant after taste which overshadowed the coffee and made the drink taste funny overall so I only had one sip and couldn't drink the rest unfortunately and it sucked because I was really looking forward to the rose latte. Customer Service, was amazing!! The young lady was very helpful and patient due to it being our first time. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations for the future. Parking, there's street parking available and we didn't have an issue finding a spot right out front. The inside set up is so cute and cozy, there's space to work, study or meet up with friends for a quick bite. There's so much on this menu that I want to explore and I will definitely be back. If you're near the Lomita area swing by bites and bashes.

An absolute gem in the south bay! Stopped by to work from on a wfh day, and I wasn't expecting much tbh. But as soon as I walked in, loved the decor, I loved the music and the vibes of the place were 10/10. I ordered the kimchi fried rice that came with a gorgeous presentation and edible flowers, I also got their coffee which was nice. The service was good. They also have a really cool cocktail menu and offer catering.

Sooooo where do I start? The cafe is very clean, bright, and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seatings. There are street parking and a small parking lot on site. Chill vibe. Descent service. Food wise: we got the breakfast burrito with avocado and breakfast sandwich with bacon for to go. I was super exited for my burrito and couldn't wait to eat it. The problem is: being the one Asian person who's allergic to scallions/ green onions, I couldn't eat anything I ordered!! I was so excited about the breakfast burrito that I started eating it while in the car.. until I saw that there were scallions mixed in the egg... why didn't they put scallions as an ingredient for the burrito??? They listed it for the omelet, why didn't they put it for the burrito???? Why??? I would NOT have ordered it if they put what's actually in the food on the menu , not along adding $3 avocado. Or I would've asked if they could substitute. Seeing how disappointed (and hungry) I was, hubby offered to swap his breakfast sandwich with me. But guess what? It has scallions in it too!! (And no, it's also not listed on the menu). So basically we got two breakfast items and extra for avocado but I could not eat anything... I honestly wanted to give it less stars but hubby said the food was good and worth a 4+ and I did have a good experience up until I ate the food, so I guess four it is. I'd love to actually try their food next time.. Please add all ingredients to the menu!

Breakfast bliss and Bites and Bashes Cafe! Bites and Bashes Cafe has been on my bookmarks for quite sometime but it wasn't until recently that I got to check it out. What finally got me to make the trip out was when I saw they had ube pancakes! I love anything ube and definitely knew it was time to try this place. I came on a Saturday morning with a friend. The place opens at 8am and we got there exactly at 8am and were the first customers. The cashier/waitress had not even arrived yet but the place was already open as they had a few employees working in the back. The waitress arrived a few minutes after us. As we were first timers; it was a little confusing at first but then we realized we order at the register and then we can seat ourselves. For our orders we chose to get the Kimchi Fried Rice ($16.95), the Ube Lava Pancakes ($14.75) and 2 Lattes (Hazelnut and Lavender) ($4.75 each). The waitress may have thought we were taking it to go at first as she handed us our lattes in to-go cups. No issue with that however and it the to-go cups actually were cute with a neat quote. The food came out fairly quickly. We tried the Kimchi Fried Rice first. This came with two sunny side eggs, two spams and kimchi rice. It was definitely perfect for sharing. There was a little bit of a spice to due to the kimchi and overall good in flavor. It was a simple yet tasty dish that really reminded me of homemade dishes that my mom makes at home. The Ube Lava pancakes were a treat! They came with three buttermilk pancakes drizzled in ube condensed milk and topped with shredded coconut. When I first saw the photos of this dish on instagram; I thought the pancakes themselves were ube versus buttermilk. Having the ube condensed milk all over the pancakes though was definitely unique and added that nice ube flavor. The pancakes themselves were nice and fluffy! I would get this again. Last but not least were the lattes. I liked my Lavender latte and overall it paired well with the dishes. It was a nice breakfast at Bites and Bashes overall. I will admit my expectations were a bit high going in and there were a few moments where it felt underwhelming (perhaps it was because it was our first time and I thought it was going to be a more of a full service restaurant.) Walking in and there wasn't a waitress/greeter was a little strange and having the to-go cups despite dining in was also a bit a weird but it was a good place overall and good food. One thing I also do have to note is parking is a bit hard. They mentioned having a lot a few blocks down but didn't notice that and I ended up parking in the neighborhood which didn't have too many spots.

Isn't first visit here was great!! I was greeted right away by the friendly staff members. The menu was easy to read with a great description of the dishes they served. Their burrito meńu was full of different types that I had to ask one of the staff members, Alyssa which burrito she would highly recommend. She suggested the original breakfast burrito and her choice was excellent. The burrito was full of flavor and devious. Their salsa perfectly complimented the burrito. Excellent food, service and atmosphere!!! I will definitely be back to try the other dishes!!!!

We walked in and we were a bit taken back by the person behind the counter just sitting on a chair. If you're representing and greeting guests, then you should stand up and greet your guests. Due to the lack luster reception, we just ended up walking out and going somewhere else.

Can you say YUM YUM YUMMMY!!!!! We ordered platters from them for a work event at the office and everything we ordered was mouthwatering! Will definitely order from them for home events and recommend them to anyone who will be hosting! Their spinach and beef empanadas were WINNERS!!!

My coworkers and I love to go eat here after a long night shift and sip on their margaritas! The workers here have always been extremely nice as well. I recommend everyone on the menu. What we always order are the crack fries. My go to order is the breakfast burrito! The inside is extremely cute and decorative plenty of seating inside as well.

Lunar New Year Special! We were fortunate to go with Bites and Bashes for our Lunar New Year/Birthday Celebration. All of our guests loved the taste for each item. We normally cook leading up to a big celebration but bites and bashes helped save us time. We're planning to eat there more often to potentially add new items for a future celebration.

This little spot is so cute and a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! We got the KBBQ breakfast burrito and the Korean breakfast. Both were excellent and had great flavor. Service is friendly and the food came out pretty quick. They have a parking lot, but we always find street parking right out front.

Perfect breakfast/lunch/brunch spot on the south side of Torrance. Wife and I stopped by on a Friday afternoon for a lunch date. Cozy and welcoming seating inside with friendly staff. We ordered a breakfast burrito and chicken salad sandwich ahead. It's an order at the counter type place with great service and food quality. We both enjoyed the flavor and texture of our meals. It's nice that there are hints of Korean fusion going on, and their housemade salsa with the burrito was probably the best thing for me. Both of us left feeling satisfied but also wanting to go back to try more. Definitely check this place out and enjoy!

Great flavors.... Family friendly. I had a free afternoon free from family obligations so I was driving around looking for lunch. I remember my friend telling me about this place and decided to try out the lunch. They seem to have multiple places for parking down Narbonne and sounds like their catering business was strong considering all the trucks that were around there with their logos. I walked in and was impressed with how busy the place was. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and i wanted to try everything, but kept to a sandwich and crack fries. I also grabbed an iced tea which was delicious. I sat down at the table and saw all the families in there. You order the food at the counter and then grab a seat. In about 10 minutes the Korean Spicy Pork sandwich with crack fries came out. The sandwich was flavorful and moist along with great bread. The accompanying pickles really broke up the spice and the richness of the sandwich. I would definitely get it again. It was a little bit messy, but that's not a bad thing. The crack fries were delicious and it was the perfect amount. I will come back for brunch or breakfast with the family next.

I have tried most of their food and coffee already, specifically breakfast, and they are to die for. Yes, they are very pretty and aesthetically pleasing BUT, the taste and flavor is always there as well. I recently tried their ube pancakes and their breakfast egg sandwich with the Aoli sauce and it was SO good. Perfect sweet (not too sweet) for the ube pancakes. The breakfast sandwich had a fluffy egg inside with the sweet fluffy bread. Let's just say it didn't disappoint!

Came here to do my taxes with a friend. They do not have wifi available for customers but that didn't slow me down. I got the horchata espresso which was good, not as sweet as I was expecting but I still really enjoyed it. I also got the crack fries and a lavender lemonade. The crack fries were a little too salty for my taste but the lemonade was perfect. My friend got the coconut shrimp and vegetable dumplings and really enjoyed both. Everything was just as beautiful as the pictures online with the little flowers. I will for sure be back to try more of their drinks.

First of all, everyone is just so nice at this little corner cafe in Lomita. Parking is a bit challenging but it's worth it. We ordered some omelette, buttermilk pancakes, glazed bacon, etc. If I were a little hungrier, I would have tried one of their burritos. There is surely a next time though. Food, as simple as they may sound, was amazing. The glazed bacon was just everything. Everything was served hot and fresh. The best part of the experience was seeing the chef/owner come out of the kitchen to touch each table and greet guest. This is no longer common, even in fancier restaurants. Highly recommended!!!

The Mac n cheese bites are small but mighty. Haven't had anything bad from here. Curious to try eating inside rather than picking up.

Where do I start??? Food is consistently delicious. Very fresh and flavorful. Lots of their produce is grown on the Coser Family Farm. Great service! Go up to the counter , grab a menu then order. I found this place on yelp, and decided to try it with the wifey it was a cute restaurant in the neighborhood, wanted to try the different foods for breakfast so we got ube pancakes, Korean breakfast and cali burrito. We both loved the food, and the hot cocoa she said she can make, wifey had the cappuccino that she loved as well. We plan to go back with my sister and her boyfriend as well as my aunt and uncle.

Super cute, clean, aesthetic cafe for brunch and lunch. We came in and ordered at the register, and then the cashier brought the food out to us at the table where we seated ourselves. We also refilled water ourselves at the water station. Service was friendly! Crack fries (10/10) - Soooo good. We heard it was the best thing so we had to get it, and it lived up to the hype. the sauce is so addicting and the toppings are perfect. The fries are also so nice and crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. Breakfast burrito (7.5/10) - The burrito was pretty standard! Everything in it tasted nice but I would totally recommend getting that extra crack sauce from the fries on the side to eat with the burrito. It makes it taste way better because the burrito can be kind of bland even with the salsa.

Very quant little cafe with delicious food and great service ! Glass noodles were so good pork sandwich was really good but the sauce was not a great match for the pork sandwich and took away from the expected taste. Will definitely be coming back to try this place again. Super clean

A cute brunch spot to visit on a weekend. There was no wait and plenty of seating. I loved the shakshouka. It was my first time trying it and I absolutely loved it! Their food is made would love and you can taste it. I want to come back to try their crack fries next time!

#1.) order at the counter. No one said anything to us and we kind of sat there stupidly. At least tell your customers to order at the counter and then sit down. Or have signage, maybe a line on the menu? We just were a little lost and felt silly. #2.) there weren't very many substitutions that you can make. No Turkey sausage can be added to the burrito, the Turkey sausage can't be taken out of the shakshuka etc. also no sugar free syrup. #3.) I was just a little confused. Is it a full service restaurant or a cafe where you take your food to the table yourself. If you're plating fancy, charge me $5 more but bring me a glass of water please. Or don't plate fancy and I'll get my own food and find a table. I got my cappuccino in a porcelain cup but had to get up to get my water from an unfiltered dispenser? #4.) good was good. Would I come back? Sure especially to give the Ube pancakes a try. People were talking about it and seemed to really like them. The shakshuka was pretty good. I liked how they had something for everyone. I gave them 4 because it was a cute place with good food that wasn't greasy or "junky". The ingredients were quality and fresh.

The two things we ordered at bites and bashes were a HIT! My fiancé and I recommend the breakfast burrito . We really loved the tots inside , and everything about it . We also loved the kimchi fried rice . The presentation was amazing . I loved all the little flowers , and all the colors in this dish. Taste wise it was also good . The only problem is that we wish we ordered more cuz it was so good ! We also loved their unique drinks . The matcha lemonade was good , tho I had to put more water in it because it was a bit saturated . But taste wise it was good and refreshing . 5 stars for this majestic restaurant . We also liked the cool vibe of this place . The design was so aesthetic . Loved all the gilded details . As a graphic designer , I approve of all the little designs in this place ! Also the logo is cute .

Super cute cafe! It is the perfect spot to get together for brunch or lunch. I came here on a Thursday afternoon with a girl friend and our experience was exceptional. The women behind the counter greeted us with a warm welcome and offered us their menu. We took a seat by the window before getting up to place our order at the register. We ordered their Crack Fries, Vegan Korean Glass Noodles, Penne Alfredo with Sundried Tomatoes, Sweet Corn and added Chicken. To drink, we had their Lavender Lemonade and Peach Iced Tea. The drinks were served immediately and topped with florals. As a flower lover, I thought this little touch was so nice. The lavendar lemonade was delicious. The lavender wasn't too overpowering and lemonade wasn't too sweet or tangy. The perfect mixture! The Chef and Owner, Julie, came out and greeted us which I thought was wonderful. I also learned that she owns a nearby farm where she sources some of their herbs, fruits and vegetables for the business. Loved that! Our food arrived within 10 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised by the Crack Fries and Korean Glass Noodles. The fries were nice and crispy, topped with a chipotle style sauce, parmesan cheese, and parley. I understand why they are known as crack fries...you can't stop wanting more! The noodles also known as Japchae, was one of the best I've had. The flavor profile, all the rainbow colored vegetables, and presentation did it for me. Will definitely order these items again! If you are looking for a local, women-owned restaurant for breakfast or lunch, I highly recommend giving this place a try. They also have a thriving catering business too if you are looking for a caterer for any upcoming events and celebrations.

Found this place through Yelp and we decided to try it out for lunch. Nice friendly family staff. The kale Caesar salad was delicious and the most photogenic Caesar salad ever. Free parking on the side streets.

Came here looking for a breakfast sandwich and the place did not disappoint! My fiancé ordered the breakfast burrito and it was also delicious! Everything is seasoned so well! Also, you gotta add crack fries to your order, definitely a must.

I've been a customer of this business for almost 2 years as it's super close to our workplace. I've ordered the Asian chicken salad & glass noodles several times which I loved then . Tried the Korean dumplings which is great. But today, I ordered glass noodles and it's SUPER SALTY and lots of veggies but few noodles. Such a disappointment because I've recommended them to my family & let them try the chicken salad which they loved. I hope they'd work on consistency!

Everything is amazing! Wish I didn't live so far so I can frequent this place often. It's not just a feast in taste, but also in the eyes! Nothing on the menu disappointed me at all.

THE BULGOGI BREAKFAST BURRITO IS AMAZING. The bacon breakfast burrito used to be my favorite but man oh man the kbbq breakfast burrito is the best breakfast burrito I've ever had! I also ordered the horchata shaken espresso with a pump of vanilla and it was delicious!

Bites and Bashes also has a great catering company. They hosted a graduation and fathers day party for us a couple weeks ago. To the entire team, Gail and Gabi, we can't thank you enough. the food was incredible and beautiful and everyone was beyond professional and wonderful. We look forward to the next event with B&B.

Plan to go for lunch bc they usually close early and their hours support coffee, breakfast, lunch. Their coffee and teas are delicious but definitely make a point to try their food bc it does not disappoint. I took my girlfriend from Hawaii here and we were both impressed. We got the kimchi fried rice with the spam served on the side and the Asian chicken salad. Both were delicious!

What a wonderful way to start our weekend! I had an urge to have brunch with my wife and found this gem of a place close to our home. Did some research this business originally started as a food catering service owned by a mom and daughter duo before moving towards a restaurant. Can I tell you how happy I am that they made that choice!? While the service was a little delayed due to high demand and short staff, their team was fantastic and very accommodating. Their lattes were solid, not the best we have had but solid. My wife and I shared the crack fries and the sauce used was unique and delicious. The wife had the breakfast burrito and she loved the crisp texture of the smashed tater tots and the aioli was delicious! I went with the Bacon Steak, while the portion was smaller the meal itself was surprisingly filling. I am a 275lb man and was very happy. The potatoes were like none I've had before and combined with the handmade bbq sauce the meal itself was a pleasant way to start my morning. There is a lot to explore on this menu and my family is excited to be so close to being able to do so! Final note: The loco cookie is missing from our photos due to my wife being unable to control her bite as this was in her words "The best cookie I have ever had".

I got the veggie option - falafel, spicy peppers, and a pickled veg It was perfectly balance with the spice hitting it off well with the falafel sandwiched between the bread/ salad.
