The Restaurant Industry Personnel Shuffles Chicago Needs to Know | Eater Chicago
"I observed that Bite Cafe, the restaurant neighboring the Empty Bottle in Ukrainian Village, has named Marcos Muñoz executive chef; Muñoz comes from Bite’s sibling restaurants Saint Lou’s Assembly and Longman & Eagle." - Ashok Selvam
Beautiful place to eat! The place was very clean and the staff as well. The food very tasty and just right! Like to go to Bites Cafe again and again. Hey, you just never get bored of great food ! Besides, they have a great selection. If you don't see something - I just ask! was always accommodated.

This place has been my go to for breakfast or lunch when I’m in the area! The atmosphere is nice and friendly, and the food is great for the price.
Definitely recommend 👍

Our family had breakfast at Bites. They have an extensive menu with many options. The ordering is through an electronic ordering system. I had their breakfast special and the food was delicious. Eating area was spacious, well lit and clean. The staff was very good. I highly recommend Bites.

Mediocre portion sizes and quality.
A few scrambled eggs with breakfast, where most places give you a decent portion.
The egg and cheese casadilla is more cheese with a bit of egg mixed in.
Half the tables had not been cleaned, giving a messy appearance.
This place has a lot of potential, not to mention a nice location near Costco and target.

Didn’t even try the food. Looked sad and the food looked old. Not appealing at all.

We ordered tuna steak and it was delicious, as well as the frappy, the customer service was good, as well as the time to prepare the food was okay, though food it's pricey.
Parking outside was easy to find.

Yelp
Walked in late lunch time. Busy but not crowded. Setup is logical. Order station and then down the counter for s pickup station. Order a simple soup and roll. $10.81. Pricey. Guy made the buttered roll on the spot. I then waited 12 minutes for a very small bowl of soup that the young lady had to go get from the kitchen only after I asked her where it was.
Food is tasty but way too expensive. I guess the customer crowd will just pay anything.
Maybe I will come back but not at these prices.

Yelp
One of the nicest kosher bagel shops/cafes around.
A bit pricey but otherwise good food and nice presentation. Good option for a meeting.

Yelp
Brand new kosher dairy restaurant. Upper scale. Great service. Great food. Huge salad plates. What I loved most about Bites is their beautiful interior design!

Yelp
The place looks nice and clean but the service was terrible. Waited more than 25 minutes before a waiter even came to us.
We requested the soup before the sushi but the sushi came and they totally forgot about the soup. When the waiter served the sushi his (ungloved) hand was touching the food, totally unacceptable.
The mozzarella sticks actually tasted very good but within the hour I started getting terrible stomach cramps, chills and sweating and dizziness. A sure sign of food poisoning.
I definitely won't be going back in a hurry.
