Best Thai in Seattle! Amazing VEGAN OPTIONS 🔥 BEST SEAFOOD COMBO. This place is a vibe. Authentic team... Parichat, Ian, Pranesh are kind. Super good Pad Thai, Peanut Sauce, Plum Sauce. Any noodle dish here is fire. Also, the tofu is dank. Super good and consistent, solid Thai every time 100% Customer Service & Respect. The Old Fashioned Drink was golden. Perfect mixed drinks at the bar. HAPPY HOUR 5PM TO 7PM!

It was late at night around 11 when I was craving Thai spicy food & I found Bites Of Bangkok at Capital Hill and they are open from 3pm- 1am I believe. Their red curry was good and I asked for 5 stars and it had a good kick but still wasn’t enough spice for me but they still gave me some spices to add for myself . And their Mongolian beef could definitely have been better but it was still good. the food was 4/5 but atmosphere and service is 5/5!

The Bites Sampler and Crispy Garlic Chicken were great - awesome flavor and solid portions! Great service and vibe for dining in! Def will come back to try some more dishes and enjoy the various bites!

Stopped here for a Sunday night dinner as I was craving some Thai fried rice. The place looked decent, spacious and was not very busy around 9. Service was fast. I took the bites of Bangkok fried rice and it was pretty tasty. The quantity and portion of protein was really good. It was flavorful and the spice level was just about right for me. My wife got the Buddha's delight with chicken which came with a side of jasmine rice and was nice as well. I would recommend the fried rice over the Buddha's delight though.

Great Thai tea at a very reasonable price! Had both the Pad Kee Mao and Pad See Ew, they look very similar but actually one is spicier and the latter is sweeter. Both are pretty delicious!

I visited this restaurant for dine in service shortly after the covid quarantine period. The service was great, very attentive service and never ran out of ice water(which was needed because of the spicy level 3 I chose). I had a cup of Tom Yum and it was definitely a lot creamer than I’m used to seeing, the broth was almost white(like all coconut milk) but still spicy and had plenty of flavor. I also had the bites of Bangkok and it was full of great flavors! I ate the entire thing!! The Tom Kha noodle soup and I wasn’t a huge fan of It was a little too sour for me. They offer 1-4 stars of spicy level and we got 3 on all items ordered which was plenty of spice, tolerable but towards the end of your dish, your mouth is burning (but in a good way lol). Definitely a place to try!!

Google
We had bites sampler, Tom kha soup and basil fried rice. Starters were okay, soup was delicious and the fried rice was good. Definitely recommend this place.

The BEST Thai on the hill! The crab fried rice is unique in Seattle and made with real crab. The Buddha's Delight is also a favorite. Prices are reasonable! If you have special needs the owner is accomodating. The waiter is cute too.

Yelp
We came late night for dinner and drinks and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. They are open until 1am which is nice! Bar with booth and table seating as well. Service was friendly and food was good. My man ordered the Panang Curry (his fav Thai curry) and wasn't super impressed as he has had better elsewhere but still finished his meal. He said it lacked a bit of flavor. He also enjoyed his mango mojito and I liked the dirty Thai. I ordered the Crab Pad Thai (spice level 3) and found it funny the server warned me and then asked me if I was sure about the level of spice lol. I loveeee spicy food and grew up eating spicy food and tbh it could've been spicier lol. I should've chose the 4 even though it seemed the server thought I couldn't handle it...haha. My food was flavorful but again could've been spicier and I have had better pad Thai elsewhere, but I did highly enjoy they included lots of egg in the dish as well which I love! Standard Thai food, yummy cocktails, friendly service, and open late night!

Yelp
My go-to for take-out Thai food in Seattle. I have tried lots of different things on the menu and never have I been disappointed. Delivery is always hot and well packaged and the prices are super fair. 10/10

Yelp
Only tried the Pad See Ew with fried tofu and medium spice! Thought it was a slightly above average Pad See Ew but on reflection, it was on the oilier side and the noodle to vegetable ratio leaned heavy towards noodles. Service was good! Hoping to try more things on their menu next time.

Yelp
After seeing a show on 5th Avenue Theater, we wanted Thai food and finally were able to make it out to Bites of Bangkok, which was open late. Conveniently located on Capitol Hill, you can easily miss it if you're not looking up. While we were waiting for order, we noticed at least five drivers picking up food for delivery and there were at least three chefs in the back turning the orders quickly. The cashier was welcoming and friendly. He even told us about their new restaurant that will be opening soon. All of the food we ordered were delicious, especially the bacon fried rice.

Yelp
Was craving Thai food and decided to try this place out for the first time. We got takeout, the chicken pad Thai and tofu pad see ew. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed as the flavor was pretty bland, the chicken was dry, and not a lot of veg. They did give good portions. Maybe it was an off day for them but not sure if we'd return.

Yelp
Came here for a boozy book fair event that was happening and sat down for dinner afterwards with some friends. We were able to get a booth and the seats were pretty comfy as well! Our server was great and we got our food pretty quick! I got the pad see ew and it was good but not the best I've had in Seattle. They had some good cocktail options that I would go back to try!

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience at Bites of Bangkok, a cozy and authentic place in Capitol Hill, Seattle. The food was delicious, fresh, and spicy, just how I like it. I ordered the Cashew chicken yakisoba, and Chicken Tom Kha soup, and they were all amazing. The service was friendly and attentive, plenty of parking, and the prices were reasonable. I saw many delivery services picking up orders, this is a nice high quality delivery option. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food. It's the best in town!

Yelp
We came here because it is walking distance from my friends house and we decided on Thai. It's a cute restaurant with a good variety of Thai foods. I order the beef phad thai. It was good and not too spicy. The service was friendly and he even made modifications on our order without making us feel like we were being difficult. My only complaint is that the restaurant was hot that day. Wish their air conditioner was on.

Yelp
Maybe the worst Thai food I've had. Got delivery and it was incredibly disappointing. Pad Thai - not much flavor aside from just spicy. Ordered 2 star. It did mellow out the next day and the leftovers were slightly better. But still overall bad for Pad Thai. Crispy garlic chicken - not at all crispy. Outside was soggy and the chicken itself was stringy and dry Larb salad - this was so bad. Like they threw it together in 2 minutes with no flavor or care Pineapple fried rice - had a weird taste to it. Will not be ordering from here again! I know late night options can be hard to come by, but I'd literally rather go to bed hungry than eat this again. :(

Yelp
I have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed ! The Gra Prow Kai Dow and the drunken noodles with beef and extra carrots are my fav ! Ian and Parnesh are always so welcoming. 10/10 food and customer service. PS. Get a spicy margarita from Ian. If you love spice- you will not be disappointed.

Gregory T.

Yelp
This place is hard ... more so a 3.5 not a 3 I really , really enjoyed the quality of the vegetables the broccoli was hot and still snappy same for the carrots and cabbage just could have used a handful more. The noodles had a familiar "yakisoba" texture to them with a mix of spicy Thai seasoning and egg for Thai style noodles. The crispy garlic chicken wasn't very crispy and lacked the crispy basil flavor. Very much so on the dry side as well. The flavors of the noodles veggies and Thai chili seasoning saved this dish Especially with the peanut sauce on the side made it sort of like cracking a egg yolk over the noodles when mixed all up. I like that creaminess tbh. Really wished the crispy garlic chicken was better but it seems the only place I can ever get this in good quality is Bai Thong Restaurant locations. I would only return here if there is no where else good I can decide before midnight. Might even hold out and get Tacobell tbh It just be like that when you're picky. Try this place for your self and see if it sticks.

Yelp
Love this place! We got the chicken fried rice, potstickers and orange chicken. It is never super busy when I go and there is a very big dining room area. Yummy drinks too!
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
Ordered Mongolian beef. Received beef and broccoli. They don't know what they're doing. Sticky rice- not sticky rice. Disappointing. Don't waste your money. Go hungry until the morning even though this place is open late. They don't know anything about this kind of food and the quality is bad. Don't waste your money.

Yelp
Bites of Bangkok has always been my go to Thai place in Seattle. I prefer take out, but the place is quite cozy if you do decide to dine in. I love their red curry. Their menu has a lot of variety so you really can't go wrong with anything. Overall, Bites of Bangkok is bussin, try it. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Writing this while I eat because damn food is amazing crab pad Thai and drunken noodle on point service amazing

Yelp
My wife and I just had dinner at Bites of Bangkok for the first time but it certainly won't be the last! Their chicken Satay was so tender and delicious! We loved their red curry and Taigan's Delight was delightfully unique which is hard to come by at a Thai restaurant. I highly recommend stopping in on the weekend because then you'd have the chance of having Pranesh, the owner, as your host. He has an extremely kind and warm personality that will get your dinner experience started off right.

Yelp
Located in a bright red building on 15th Ave on Capital Hill, its hard to miss. I've been wanting to try them out, and I'm glad that we did. With the shortage of people wanting to work and the still hints of the pandemic still around, Bites of Bangkok seem to beats the odds and still going strong. We arrived as soon as they opened for happy hour (5pm-7pm). They asked to check vaccine cards which was responsible of them. Great friendly staff, that checked up on us, so thank you! Currently half the restaurant is corded off but they do have quite a few tables available for dine in. What we ordered: HH: Thai wings $5 HH:Crab Bites: $4 HH: Bites Satay $4 Bites of Bangkok Noodles $13.95 Happy hours menu items were great (see picture)! The wings were crispy and paired with a sweet chili sauce, part of me just wanted to order another round of those wings cause they were delicious! My favourite thing was the Bites Satay, marinated chicken skewered and served with a creamy peanut sauce. Honestly the sauce was the real winner. I'd be happy just eating cucumbers with that peanut sauce, but I digress. The Bites of Bangkok Noodles were alright... Not my favourite, but it just be my taste buds. I can't wait to try some of their other classic dishes next time I'm there. But the menu prices are very reasonable, a lot of the main staples are under $12, with a few exceptions. Even their happy hour menu is between $3-5. So you can't go wrong. Great job Bites of Bangkok, looking forward to what else you got to offer!

Yelp
Okay... I really should have read more reviews before placing an order... this really is a place you would order from if you have had waaayyyy too much fun with fermented drinks... Not what I was looking for unfortunately. The crab appetizer was yummy...
google avatar

Julia L.

Yelp
Perfect place for late night Thai food cravings. I ordered pineapple fried rice and pad thai. The pineapple fried rice wasn't my favorite. It was really just a lot of rice with not a whole lot of flavoring, some big chunks of pineapple, and not very much chicken. The pad thai on the other hand was pretty good! The fried tofu and the flavors were really good.

Yelp
Good late night Thai food !! Love the friendly staff and aura !! Way better than Bangrak market ! So glad this is my go to spot for Thai food in the area !!

R N.

Yelp
This food is wasted on drunk people. Both the pad thai and pad see ew were excellent! Not too sweet and great portions too! We ate every bite!
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
I was looking for a spot that was open late. I tried the Tom Yum and it was amazing. We also had crab fried rice and the eggplant dish. No complaints here.

Gabriel Y.

Yelp
The people leaving good reviews must all be cigarette smokers because absolutely NOT. This is just expensive garbage. Poor presentation and disproportionate: "fresh rolls" were just rice noodles and lettuce wrapped in a long tube (they didn't even cut it in half) with ONE small piece of tofu in it, and this curry is nearly flavorless and as thin as water. Even the thai iced tea is bland...like they mixed less than half the normal amount of the mix into some milk and called it good. And for $50 too? Never eating here again.

Yelp
I was picking up Take Out for customer and discovered the Seattle Comedy Club here. Tonite I will see Korean Canadian Comic, Julie Kim from Vancouver BC. I did check out some videos on her thru You Tube. I wanted to support another Asian Woman who performs challenging Comedy. It's the toughest thing to do, in order to make the audience laugh. Come early to shows since it's a smaller club and it gets crowded. Try their Thai food too.

Yelp
I've been ordering from here during the Stay Home Stay Healthy order in Washington state due to the COVID situation. Their yellow curry vegan is SCRUMPTIOUS. So flavourful. Comes with rice and really warms your heart. Thanks for provided a friendly service and I hope to go here for dine-in once the world gets out of this situation!

Yelp
It was a spur of the moment and I wanted food. This was one of the places that opened late and closer to where we were staying. Although it felt like it was a lot farther! Being me with the bad sense of direction, I always get lost. But we made it. Late night happy hour, this place feels like it's in the middle of no where for people out of town. Food is decent and affordable. It's quiet and cozy, the owner and people at the bar were very friendly.

Luke G.

Yelp
Awesome dive bar and takeout spot. Open late which is a rarity in the neighborhood. Try the Ian's delight

Yelp
Love to order this place to go or for delivery but decided to come for dine in last week. Food was delicious. But the service was... interesting ?? Server was hovering awkwardly and eavesdropping A LOT. Me and my friend were having some personal/intimate girl talk and he joined in A LOT. Probably won't dine in again after that awkward experience but will order delivery now on.

Yelp
I hate giving a bad review but I had super disappointed experience tonight. Me and my friend decided to do movie night and we decided to order delivery since we were pretty tired from the end of the year cleaning. We ordered wonton soup, garlic chicken and eggplant. Wonton soup was just basic and it tasted better because other two dishes were tasteless. Garlic chicken was dry and flavorless. Eggplant dish looked bad and portion was way way way small..soggy eggplants and few vegetables. Tasteless and our silica sauce didn't help either . (Please see my photo) My friend was like "why did you pick this place!?" .... $44 + $5tip..almost $50 for these dishes??? After we had bite of Bangkok..we were done. I will not order from here again...tears

Kati H.

Yelp
Ordered on a food delivery app. I got the orange chicken and steamed rice. Wasn't listed that rice comes with the chicken automatically, but no issue, it was pretty good simple and hot rice. However, the orange chicken was extremely disappointing. It was so dry it tasted like chewing shoe laces. The sauce and flavor was nice, I just wish it wasn't as dry.

Milkana G.

Yelp
Delicious thai food! and perfect amount of spiceness! i prefer food that is spicy and they did just that! thank you, definitely a must to try
google avatar

Devon S.

Yelp
Pad Thai was ok. Nothing to rave about. This place would probably be best if you were black out drunk and starving

Yang H.

Yelp
Overall pretty tasty! I ordered delivery through an app: Khao Soi: Good flavor and generous portions, but not enough salt. I added a bit of fish sauce and it was perfect. I do wish there had been more soup to pair with the noodles; my noodles were just barely coated with the soup/sauce. Perhaps the in-person dining experience would have been different. Chicken satay: tender and flavorful! Papaya salad: This was the most disappointing dish. Most of the container was chopped cabbage! There was only a small layer of papaya salad on top. Definitely not worth $16.

Yelp
Came here for dine in dinner on a Friday night the place wasn't too busy. Ordered the Kao Soi, Thom Kha and Pad See Ew. The spice levels were pretty mild at 1 and 2 out of 4. The food was good and was enough to share between 3 people. The parking in the area can be hard during busy times on 15th but there is a lot of street parking. There are a lot of good thai places on 15th but this place compares to any of the,! Would recommend especially for late night.

Brian Q.

Yelp
The bartender is nice and as attentive has he can be as he seems to be the only one working the front. I have been there four times in the past six months. The last two, only because friends were there and I agreed to meet them before going to another place. Each time the items I have eaten are either old, lacking in flavor or over cooked. The spring rolls were missing an ingredient and the shrimp was old. They do not cut them in half and there is so much rice noodles and lettuce it is like they are trying to hide missing items. Very little tofu in them too. The tofu seemed to be bought pre friend and then fried again, it was so stale. The bar tender is always so busy I could not return my food so I simply do not eat it. Last time, about two weeks ago, the fried appetizers came out so over cooked. The Pad Thai did not have much flavor except for a little spice. The only thing there that has flavor is the peanut sauce. By the consistency though, it needs to be stirred.

Yelp
Still super good and now that King County has entered Phase 2 of quarantine they're open at 50% dine-in capacity, and still 100% delicious Big fan of the new Green Thai Iced Tea (I like to pretend that since it's green tea I still won't lay awake at night in constant terror of what new horrors tomorrow brings. But, it is still pretty sugary. Absolutely delicious though.) Also as big fan of the new paperless menu too! (they'll provide one if you ask of course)

Yelp
So in a night after dance class, a bunch of us wanted food. And as usual most Seattle places were closing early at like 9 or so... but YAY bites of bangkok is one of the only places that stays open late. Can more restaurants in seattle take notes on staying open later than 9... like at least till 11. Anyways food: its pretty good here! Price is decent, portion is great. I loved my Pineapple curry at like level 2 or so, it was perfect sweet and spicy. Needed a second rice to finish up the curry cuz yum. My friend liked her drunken noodles almost couldnt finish. Someone else got the fried rice it was A LOT and im sure it tasted great. We got fried calamari which at least i thought was delicious. My girlfriend got the kao soi it was alright, probably not the best dish here, it felt like basic, the noodles should be crispier and the flavoring needs to be fresher. Overall pretty good food, good portion, good price, good service. Server told us a cheesy joke agh i cant even say it here haha.

Yelp
3.5 stars. I have hopes that other things will taste better than what we ordered. I would not recommend the Bangkok fried rice. The mix of meat, slices of soggy chicken, bbq pork and beef seemed incoherent in the dish. I've had a lot of bbq pork in my life and this is close to, if not the worst treatment I've seen. Rice was on the oily side, flavor wasn't particularly nice, and I got none of the crispiness another reviewer noted. Khao soi had a rich creamy flavor, presented well. Had about 1/2 inch of soup, so not enough soup for the noodles. I'd recommend ordering vegetarian here, the meat texture was off. I thought the menu selection was broader than other Thai restaurants, willing to give it a second chance.

Dan S.

Yelp
Ordered two items, one of which was a yellow curry. I've never seen smaller portions in my life. Perhaps an ounce of chicken? Give me a break. Curry liquid on right in picture and everything else poured/strained into bowl on the left. I'd look elsewhere for take out.

Yelp
Got food from here delivered after a concert. Best Tom Kha soup, has set a high bar for others. Also salad rolls more than a foot long. Loved it. Wish you had a restaurant in Portland.

Caprice C.

Yelp
My fav spot they know what I like everyone I come and call my by my first name. Superb customer service. Great food and the best owner and bar tender ever. Always feel welcomed.

Jaime E.

Yelp
Been coming to Bites of Bangkok for a while now, my favorites are: - Thai chicken wings, which have this addictive tasty spice that isn't overpowering and is fried to perfection, not too greasy like other places (also only $5 on happy hour). - Pad see ew - Garlic chicken - my new favorite chicken kao soi. (Egg noodles and coconut milk curry sauce with bean sprouts scallions cilantro and crispy noodles! Try this on a cold rainy day for some warm ) Also their muay thai tea is the best I've had around, better than jai thai's imho.

Jenn M.

Yelp
Excellent ambiance and very nice staff. I had their crab pad Thai . Portion was generous, food was warm, and the service staff was overall welcoming. Great food for a midnight bite. Thumbs up!
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
Maybe it would have been different during the early evening, but my late night bite left me wanting more. I ordered (for delivery) calamari, wings, green beans with pork and garlic noodles with prawns. The garlic noodles with prawns were excellent! The green beans with pork were exceptional! The calamari and wings went in the opposite direction. The calamari was rubbery and very "commercial". The wings were inedible due to the salt content. It was late at night when all this was ordered, so I was not going to wait for some type of replacement and a second delivery....50/50.....two items superb....two items absolute kack!!! I'm done, won't order again...sorry.
google avatar

Bryce W.

Yelp
Ordered in from here for work and discovered the place was beyond busy when I went to pick my food up. Food was still on time and very tasty. The mango sticky rice and drunken noodles are really good here. The Thai tea is awesome too
google avatar

Theresa B.

Yelp
Came here for a comedy show. Hostess was welcoming, waiter was fun to talk to, our seat neighbors were good sports throughout the show. I love the concept of a neighborhood comedy club. I mean laughs, cocktails, and Thai food. Should be a win, win, win. I really hope our visit was an off night for the kitchen. Ordered the spring rolls. They were soggy. Had the shrimp pad thai. The shrimp may have been undercooked. Something was off about the texture and extra shrimpyness about it. That's fine, I put the shrimp aside and just focused on the main noodles of the pad thai. Ordered their hottest spicy, and there was a blandness to it. I want very much to like this place. I'd come back for the shows and drinks. I'm going to reset before I give the menu a try.
google avatar

Vivian H.

Yelp
I hate it when restaurants run out of multiple things on their menu. I wanted to try their wonton soup and I *really* wanted mango sticky rice but they were out of both!! There was absolutely no reason for me to stay and I wish I hadn't but I didn't want to be rude. We shared the fried calamari to start. I got the tom yum noodle soup and my husband got the pad see ew. Everything was just OK, and I just kept thinking about how I could be eating at another Thai restaurant with mango sticky rice.
google avatar

Shermaine T.

Yelp
Super convenient. Doordashed it today during this rainy day. What a way to fulfill that Thai food craving
