I am from out of town and was here for a wedding. I had some time, so I came to the Farmers Market and it was so nice! The produce was so colorful and fresh and everyone was so nice! I need help though finding a vendor's business name! It was a homemade tallow product I purchased and I thought there would be a sticker on the jar with the name on it and unfortunately I could not find it. If anyone has any leads, please, respond! I will be needing to purchase more from her in the future haha it is amazing! I believe the name was Route 44? but I cannot find their Instagram page. Thank you in advance!

Google
It's a relatively small farmers market - there are only a few vendors that are selling produce from the farm. The rest are selling some food truck items or "eco" goods. Anyway I bought the crispiest lettuce of my life here that somehow stayed fresh for 2 weeks, so that's a big plus.

Google
I just had the Mediterranean food stand, it was perfection! I got the Tabbouleh salad and it was 100% authentic and fresh, Highly suggest getting food from them.

Amir Zee

Google
Great place to buy fresh veggies, homemade food and listen to live music.

Google
Nice downtown location near scummy restrooms that I never use. Still my favorite farmers market since they have the best tamales. They also have the best Honduran coffee and a coconut based vendor that makes amazing skincare products. Plus, my favorite plant lady vendor is there!

Ok place .. not many vendors .. but ok

This farmers market is right by an awesome playground!!! This review is long overdue. I love buying fruits and vegetables at this market. While the farmers may not have the money to get the organic status just talk to them they do not use pesticides. There’s tons of good premade food as well 💖🙏. I have loved this farmers market from the time my child was 9 months up to seven years old when we moved. It’s right by the playground that was nearest to our apartment. I bought my produce there weekly and my son would eat most of the berries right then at the playground. Since age 3 he loved the baguettes from the La Brea bakery bread stand, the little tiny cakes from the local cake makers, the pizza from the local pizza place and that ice cream that was Long Beach local as well. We had so much fun at so many different events from live music to plays to comedy. This is such a great farmers market.

Google
I used to go here weekly after yoga on the bluff. I love the papusas, vegan donuts and fresh juice. It's nice to eat my food while enjoying the live music. Only giving 3 stars because the prices here can be high and the selection of vendors has declined.

Yelp
Super cute. They accepted Apple Pay and Venmo so easy. Music, community, ocean breeze, local vendors, great food. What more can you ask for?
google avatar

Chris O.

Yelp
Small, no real selections, way over priced. One vendor wanted $7 for a single tomato. Absolutely ridiculous.
google avatar

Pete B.

Yelp
The market has many different vendors. The parking is difficult and challenging in the area. I got the chicken teriyaki bowl from one of the vendors. It was chewy thigh meat and the portion was small. The gyro place looked good and I might have to try it next time.
google avatar

Yelp
This market is just OK. They do not take EBT like the other markets do and have less variety of produce and fruit with higher prices than other farmer's markets in Long Beach. I do like the vegan prepared food vendor that is there on Saturdays.

Yelp
The one thing I love so much about my hometown is their many farmers markets that spring up throughout town. This farmers market by far, has become my favorite. Located right in Bixby Park near the beach, Harvest Farmers Market is where you can find it all. From fruits and vegetables to pastries, soaps and candles, snacks, etc. They have food trucks and shops where you can enjoy a variety of eats such as empanadas, pupusas, nachos, teriyaki bowls, and some of the best shrimp tacos you'll ever taste. They also have aguas frescas to enjoy. I have tried almost everything they have to offer here as for the food. They have a small stage where people usually perform while the farmers market is going on. Some of the shops here do accept credit/debit cards. For those that don't, they do have farmers market cash, which is only used at any of the farmers market locations throughout Long Beach. Parking can be a bit hard to find so I suggest to come early. I usually come on Tuesdays, which is from 3-7pm. Summertime is when it is at its fullest, as people are shopping here during the warm evenings. I have yet to be disappointed coming here. And I do think it's gonna happen!

Yelp
One of the many blessings of living by Bixby Park is having a farmer's market walking distance from where I live. Whether I need an onion for whatever I'm cooking, I want to buy my produce for the week, or I want a fresh artisan meal and a bottle of kombucha from my favorite vendor Ollie I am set and excited to visit. Most vendors take cards, some may charge you a little extra, my advice is being cash. There's also tables and live music for a nice meal and entertainment! Parking can be a little competitive and when I say a little, I mean A LOT! But once parking is taken care of, it's good ol family fun when you're there.

Yelp
So many good things at this farmers market. Define hit this if you live in the neighborhood. My favorite spots to hit are the fish taco guys, the salsa and chip guy, and the organic fruit tent. In addition to these there are several other choices for food, fruit, nuts, and crafts. This is located at Bixby park right next to children's playground. There are tables to sit and eat. They usually have a singer or some type of entertainment. This is a great neighborhood venue, I probably would not drive to far to come to it.

Yelp
One of the best farmers' markets I've seen in CA. Fresh and organic fruits and veggies. Go for it guys

Yelp
The variety and quality of the empanadas are fantastic. Crunchy and tasty. And the green sauce
google avatar

Yelp
Last Saturday morning I found Empanadas Argentinas at this market they have lots of meaty savory flavors to choose from and even a Vegan option. Check it out

Yelp
COVID changed everything only produce is there now.. the one tamale guy and a hummus guy it's so wack now.. no music no crafts no nothing just LAME now so sad...
google avatar

Bill R.

Yelp
Giving this market 3 stars only because its pretty small, not saying bad just small. They have maybe 6 or so produce vendors, Several crafts vendors, and some food vendors that sell items from Bread, empanadas, tamales, fish tacos, pupusas, fresh made donuts, kettle corn ect... Pretty tasty. It's in a park right on the coast.

Yelp
The low rating is probably due to the fact that I experienced the Farmer's Market at the marina before attending this one in Bixby Park. Mom and I started off before they even opened because we're used to things opening at 9 but this one starts at 10. There's some street parking and some drive in spots, but not a lot if this place got really busy. However, I'm not sure why it would be. They have a few concessions that sell things like tamales and sandwiches. Nothing that piqued our taste buds. I'm not even a vague connoisseur of crafts so I won't comment on those. Overall, I guess there wasn't enough of anything that interested me there. They have lots of produce, of course, but I can also get that at the Sunday FM along with terrific empanadas and my beloved whole grain sourdough. The area also seems to be a magnet for weirdos that wander around talking to themselves which is a bonus for some neighborhoods but not for dwarven single women like me that could get mugged as easily as stepped on. Ha ha. I'll take a pass on this one.

Yelp
This is my go-to neighborhood farmer's market and I love it! Not sure why it took me so long to try it but I finally went for the first time a few months ago and am kicking myself for not going earlier. Sure I can get some great produce here, but what I really love are the readymade food vendors, especially the pupusa tent. I love grabbing a quick dinner here and then getting some stuff for my fridge on the way out. It's very popular with the locals and there is quite a nice lively scene here. Not sure if things get a little quieter during the colder months, but it sure is great when the weather is warm and the hours are long.

Yelp
My favorite farmer's market and right in my neighborhood! They're here Tuesdays 3 PM to 7 PM (the food vendors are usually here later than that) and Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM. Located in the middle of Bixby Park between Junipero and Cherry. Check out the gourmet tamale vendor (some of the best tamales I've ever had!), the pupusaria (yum!), and all the fresh produce vendors (free samples galore!). The majority of the booths are food vendors although there are a few merchandise vendors as well. There are live performances most of the time on stage and a nice seating area with tables nearby so you can groove to the music while enjoying your meal or sifting through your farmer's market goodies. Cash is king here so be sure to bring it for easier transactions. If you forget you can get Scripps at the information booth using your debit card. It's a 1:1 trade with no fee. Scripps spend like money at the booths. Some vendors do take cards but why hassle with it? No dogs allowed! So friendly. So warm. So close to the beach! What's not to love?

Yelp
Always a satisfying find here. There is a festival atmoshere no matter what time of day or season that you stroll the stalls. While I enjoy the nut man most, wonderful berries, figs, tomatoes, artichokes have been picked up. The fruit guys have delicious samples which usually taste better than what is purchased. We also like discounts that can be had by buying in multiple. Prepared food stalls seem a bit expensive to me but we have always liked whatever we get. I'm a sucker for puppy-eyed vendors who make me feel quite guilty for deciding not to get something. Don't want to have to say that I'll be back, if I have run out of cash.
google avatar

Yelp
As a resident of downtown LB for over 20 years, I am glad there is a farmer's market here close to home. BRING CASH for easy and fast transaction! Just like other Yelpers, dogs don't bother me much. I used to own couple of dogs. But there too many dogs. I hate it when owners look one way and then their dogs are on super long leashes, not being considerate of people walking. Maybe I should look the other way when I walk too and step on some doggie dog paws. Whoops. Yes, back at you. I love the Fiesta Movil salsa and chips, hot dogs, Hawaiian kine foods, spam musubi, garlic fries, sweet treats, super fresh naan bread, hummus and dips, fruits, greens and veggies. Visitors-if you want to venture outside of the downtown area, come here to find some good cheap eats and take in the local scene.

Yelp
I love this farmer's market! Live music, close to an awesome fenced-in playground for kids, wonderful food, friendly vendors...we always find parking...what more can you ask for? Definitely as good as it gets!
google avatar

Christopher B.

Yelp
This is really the perfect place for a farmer's market. There are always people at the park so why not give them another reason to come? It also is near the municipal band in the summer so you could hit up both rather easily. The farmer's market is still new so I think it will evolve as time goes on. I do think this one is much more focused on restaurant food (i.e. dinner) than produce, which is fine, but I would find it disappointing if I were just coming to pick up some fruit or veggies. What else do people do on a Tuesday anyway? It's a great excuse to get out, socialize, and grab some good grub!
google avatar

Jenna S.

Yelp
Probably a great craft fair, but sorely lacking in the farmers part of the farmers market. Twice (or more) as many craft and hot food places as produce places, and those farmers had slim pickings even in the first hour. Empanadas were spotty, one was really good, the other super bland and customer service there lacking as well. Not thrilled.

Yelp
Five freakin stars! My hubz and I decided to have a date night and ride our bikes to the farmers market. Everyone is so sweet! Most accept card but bring cash to tip. My ALL time favorite was Pooja Cuisine of India. HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE VENDOR. Best believe we'll be back for more of their food! Sweet couple and I fell in love with their entrees! Can't wait for them to make Kheer. Check them out! We bought fresh fruit to snack on and gluten free vegan friendly granola for our homemade acai bowls. Can't wait to ride our bikes back.

Yelp
Let me say that as this is a local Farmer's Market, I have been frequenting this Tuesday market (summers are 3pm-8pm). I love Farmer's Markets. The people working the booths are generally friendly and generous with samples (best part). This location is, in my humble opinion, the best in Long Beach. Things to Try: Aris Natural Foods' yogurt. Look, I'm going to shout it in the sky and share with everyone how amazing their yogurt (particularly fig and pumpkin) tastes and how unique it is in contrast to other yogurts (which I absolutely detest). You must go taste it: yes, even if you do not like yogurt. Go. Link to their stuff: http://stores.arisnaturalfood.com Pop up Coffee Stand is a little bit like Portland in Long Beach. Let's face it, we're as close as it gets to Portland here in So Cal. They have fresh baked (never resold) sweets, single cup drip coffee, and when I was there they had an amazing Hibiscus, Ginger and Lemongrass drink, which wasn't sweet and was very refreshing with lemon added. Worth a try. Little bit about them: http://slicedanddicedeatery.com/popupcoffeeshop/ Bit more: http://www.goodveg.org/Pop-Up.html The stand with plums, peaches, nectarines, and cherries. While not organic (or at least they didn't pay for the organic label- I'm uncertain which), their fruit is incredible. Try the Bright Pluots, the cherry plums and the nectarines (yellow). These have been constantly good. And, believe it or not, these brought me back for my second week in a row they were such a wonderful sweet treat in the heat (yeah, I rhymed there). Soledad Goats Cheeses are simply the best. Generally-speaking, goat cheese is awful. It's gamey, which makes my mouth unhappy. This stuff is incredible. Try the spicy habanero, or the tasty lavender honey, or the garlic and herb... you catch my drift. You might consider plopping down the extra money for the goat cheese balls in oil with herbs and spices- it's probably the best of them. Link to Soledad's Facebook (they don't seem to have a website): https://www.facebook.com/SoledadGoats Why the Three Stars? I'll be clear in that I rarely purchase non-organic fruits and vegetables. This market doesn't have organic stands: none for produce. The only organic stand I found was a guy selling sprouted beans. Boring. In this area, with environmentally and socially conscious peoples, I'm rather irked that bringing in an organic produce stand or two is impossible. For this reason, I'll continue to purchase my produce at the Sunday Southeast Farmer's Market in the Marina or at Whole Foods. C'mon guys! Step it up and bring an organic stand!

Yelp
the empanadas lady makes the best spinach & cheese empanadas. i know, i said it twice. hahaha

Yelp
One of my favorite farmer's markets in LB :) Great vendors and reasonably priced produce. Sample everything! Love the little skate park too. Great place to relax on a random Tuesday and support the local farmers. Beware of the amygdala almond dip -- it's so addicting! I finished 3 containers in less than a week. Roasted garlic, rosemary, wasabi, parsley & whipped garlic flavors are my favorites.

Yelp
There are so many Farmer's Markets in the area during the week and this is one of two that stays open past late afternoon. I don't know who is able to get to a Farmer's Market in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, but must be nice! I came here for the first time yesterday (this one is on Tuesdays from 3-8pm) and I browsed the whole thing in about 20 minutes or so, but I wasn't really diving too deeply into it so I'm sure I missed some stuff. I got here later in the evening so some of the produce I probably would have purchased was down to the last of it, but I at least got a good idea for what's there. Tons of fresh veggies, potatoes, garlic, onions and organic fruits...I couldn't believe how many different types of plum varieties I saw there that I've never even heard of. Almost every single booth had samples and were more than happy to cut up whatever you wanted to try...and I wasn't shy about asking! There were not as many dried fruits/nuts as I would have hoped for, but maybe there are different vendors each time. On the back side of the set-up were some hand-made craft booths and also quite a few food vendors (I saw Mexican, BBQ, Indian, Crepes and several more). Yesterday I just got some kale, garlic, blueberries and then this organic/raw/vegan/gluten-free spread (kind of like hummus) that was made from almonds and was absolutely incredible...they had about 4-5 different flavors (I got the jalapeno one). Can't remember the name of the company but the guy said they are there every Tuesday so definitely look for them. I will probably be back here every Tuesday just because it's convenient, cute and supports local growers and businesses.
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
Love coming here almost every Tuesday. Sometimes just for dinner or sometimes just for fruits and vegetables for my hippie smoothies. Wide selection of fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices for stuff that is straight from the land. Great variety as every week you'll probably see a new vendor. You also will notice some vendors are there every week which is nice if you want something again. Standouts: Empanada line is long most of the time, worth the wait if it's not more than 3 or 4 people. The mini cakes are really good, I've tried a bunch of different flavors so far. Fun atmosphere, dog friendly. (Say hi, I'm usually there with my black and white mutt).

Yelp
I go to this farmers market every Saturday I get. Okay where should I start. I love that it's in the park so my kids can go distract themselves while I shop. Okaaaayyyy. Anyway let me Break down the Spots I hit up. Consistently though. I'm sorry I don't know the exact names lol but I hit up my bread people and I get that zucchini bread and the jalapeño bread omg bomb. I've had other ones and trust me I'm working my way to try them all but my heart is in love with two already. Next try the booth that sells cheeses! Omg and you can try all of them I bought some pepper jack and one that had like basil or some green shit, all I know is homegirl told me to make a grilled cheese out of it add tomato and I did. I need to tell her that was legit. Next there's a candle booth they are homemade and the smell wonderful and the last long as shit. But the downside is when you lite them up the smell is not strong at all so that sucks. I hit up the honey booth so I can get my how I sticks for sure. There are a lot of produce booths and honestly that shit is all the same. Some are just cheaper than the others. Now the place to eat is the pupusa place. OMG WHEN O SAY THEY ARE they are . They sell agua frescas and like Salvadoran tamales I think but the pupasas amazing. I loveeeeee all the live bands that play. Just go. Check it out for yourself .
google avatar

William S.

Yelp
Edit: They have resolved the pet problem by posting more sighs...THANK YOU! Now I can handle my fruits and veggies without a dog sniffing my leg. PET AND SMOKE FREE BUT THERE ARE DOGS EVERYWHERE. Sure, I like dogs...just not your dog when I am purchasing food. I am sure that if I sparked up a smoke it would be someone with dog telling me to put it out. Other than that, I love having this small farmers market close to my house and go there weekly, and have never had a bad experience with any of the vendors.
google avatar

Bradley H.

Yelp
The farmers market is awesome. I go every Tuesday. I always make one go round first and then get the best looking stuff, which changes from time to time. However- The Gourmet Cobbler Factory tent sells their small trays of cobbler for $8. The cobbler tastes okay. It is surely not worth $8. I just felt ripped off. The portion is just so small. There are no prices on the cobbler but the pies have $3.50 on them. Very deceiving booth.

Fancie L.

Yelp
Great farmers market. Not a ton of variety or unique veggies, but nice people, good price. Last minute discounts before close. Fresh eggs! I wish there'd be raw milk. Lots of samples! It's small but great vendors with tasty goods . My neighbor says they have a great fresh fish stand, but I didn't find it. LOVED the almond spread. Music was nice. Friendly crowd
google avatar

Yelp
Boy am I one lucky girl! A farmers market 2.5 blocks away, seriously! I truly love my neighborhood. The only time I drive is to move my car from one side of the street to the other on street cleaning days. Everything is within walking distance. This market is really great. Maybe a little pricey, but we are supporting local farms and vendors. Everything from farm fresh eggs, jerky, artisan breads, fresh herbs and so much more. The people are wonderful and the produce fresh. They have plenty of food stands - really enjoyed the salmon tacos! Next Tuesday going to try the tamales - I hope they have sweet ones. Jessie, one of the vendors, is incredible and gives great vibes. Live music right at the beach.. this farmers market is so convenient and great. The only thing they don't have or not yet (I'm hoping) is fresh cut flowers.. I really miss my weekly flowers.... boo hoo They say dogs can't be there, but that is stupid, it's an outside farmers market... Sadie is always with me... so oh well.... Can't keep us from going. So lucky to have you so close. What a great find! Oh and I love the fresh young coconuts!! Yummo!
google avatar

Rany S.

Yelp
This is my favorite farmer's market in Long Beach. Usually peruse the stands, grab a few goodies to take home, and then grab a bite to picnic on the greens across the way toward the ocean. Favorite stands are the scented salts with their sniff bar, Thai Ranch with their $4 mini combos, and then there's Mama Siu's BBQ with their $3 garlic fries. Visit the Sherril Orchards stand for some delicious juice! Dogs aren't allowed, but allowed. Werd.
google avatar

Jacob L.

Yelp
I only live down the street and this farmer's market is a great pace to get a bite to eat. It's only open on tuesdays 3pm-7pm. ALOT of food vendors. If you were looking to buy goods, this might not be the place for you. There's only about 4 or 5 merch stands. The rest of them are food. Overall a good place in the middle of a park down the street from the beach.

Yelp
So excited for this Farmer's Market. I hope it lasts longer than the summer. We went to get some fruits/veggies in season and have dinner. We got the fruits/veggies, the dinner, the music, the smell of BBQ, the sounds of kids playing, and ran into friends I haven't seen in a while. Looking forward to when the Municipal Band starts playing on the other side of Ocean, and when the Movies on the Beach starts showing down at the beach. Pros: -Family oriented: kids getting their faces painted, playground ajacent to the market, lots of green park space to put down a blanket and have a picnic. -Organic! -Summer fruits & vegetables! -Local sweets, breads, honey, oil, dog goodies, crafts, etc. -Food. There are several food stands to have dinner, and all pretty affordable, about $4-$10 an item. -Live music. I know there was music playing, but I was so distracted in shopping for goodies that I couldn't focus. -They lay out is of a circular nature so everything seems to blend together feeling more "market"-like. (The Sunday's market in the marina parking lot is a straight line and very congested/crowded.) -I get to see the people of my neighborhood! Lots of kids, people with dogs, and people just hanging out. Cons: -Parking: I went early, a little after 5, and was able to find parking easily, about a block away. I'm assuming it gets a little more challenging as people start to get home from work and use up more spaces. Luckily, there are many people out so walking/riding a bike to the location is safe.
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
Mostly food booths and crafts, only about 7 produce stands. Good live music. If you looking for a social location, this is good. If you're looking for produce, not so much.
google avatar

Gabriela G.

Yelp
This farmer's market was small and expensive. The one by Marina Pacifica is a lot bigger, the sellers are nicer, and there is more variety. I didn't have a good experience here.

Julia A.

Yelp
This farmers market has delicious produce for reasonable prices and you get to support local farmers! It doesn't get better than that!! The pupusas and tamales are the best I have ever had and are a must try. The market is across from the beach so when you are done eating and shopping take a walk on the beach.
google avatar

Yelp
Thank goodness for the FM!! This little jewel helped sell us on moving to the area. You should try the Thai iced teas, strawberry lemonades, grilled fish tacos, kettle corn, candied nuts, honey and all the seasonal produce! So family friendly and always w live entertainment. Great place to meet your neighbors.

Yelp
Friggin Awesome Farmers Market. Here's why: 1. Convenience- it's across the street from where I live. 2. Excellent quality of vendors (including but not limited to)- a) CTS Sauces- selling Spicy Hawaiian Ketchup (which has replaced A-1 steak sauce in our house) and Peach Mango Mustard. CTS has a website with numerous recipes for their sauces b) The fresh fish monger- this is the same company that distributes to Bristol Farms and Whole Foods, but their prices are better than these stores. For example: Sashimi grade fresh tuna at Whole Foods sells for about $30 per lb, however, at the FM, it's about $16.00 per lb. Very nice selection of seafood. You must purchase the Diver Sea Scallops. c) the Olive Oi vendor- he also sells to a few local restaurants including Magic Lamp in Belmont Shores. The Late Harvest Manzanillo has a rich earthly flavor which is perfect with salad dressings and sauteing. d) the honey vendor that also sells fresh macadamia nuts from a farm in Fallbrook. The macadamia nuts come in a $1, $2,$4, $8 and $10 bags. The bags are generously filled. Who needs to go to Hawaii for fresh nuts anymore? e) Candy Cakes- my eldest is hooked on this cross between a cake pop and truffle dessert. Please note that the red velvet candy cake is made with cola. f) Olive Wood Pizza- who can resist a vendor that brings in their own earthen ware dome shaped wood fire oven? The pizzas are fantastic. We always order the Margherita-crushed tomatoes, mozzarella, EVOO, fresh basil...simply delicious g) fresh fruit and vegetable vendors- always know what's in season. 3. It brings our very diverse neighborhood together- people of different ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds are all together in one area enjoying good food, good music and good company. We get to chat with our neighbors that we don't see all the time. Everyone seems so positive and happy to be here. 4. It's right next to the playground for families with young kids who have lots of energy. This Farmers Market is a slice of heaven. "I want to go to there".

Yelp
A nice little surprise on a Tuesday afternoon! Everyone was super friendly! Bought some honey for my boyfriend to help with his allergies & the woman was very knowledgable and helped me pick the honey from the right area that would work best for him! Also decided to grab a coffee from eyes wide open and it was amazing! Excited to hear they are opening a shop soon! Will be back this afternoon!

Yelp
Really love that this farmer's market is in my neighborhood and open from mid-afternnon to mid-evening. Ready-to-eat food and handmade arts/crafts are sold alongside the fresh local produce. It's always a nice vibe, there's the skateboard zone and playground on one side and the bluff and beach on the other. Usually there's music playing on the bandshell. How better could you spend a weekday afternoon or early evening in Long Beach?

Yelp
Bixby Park is, since I've been living in Long Beach (4yrs), a bit shady, and I'm not talking trees here. We visit from time to time because you can't beat the location. Who wouldn't want to enjoy a park so near home with an ocean view, coffee, food etc. But we make sure our time spent here is during the day and so we never really stroll that way when it starts getting dark. Well with that in mind you can image my surprise when a couple of weeks ago my husband was excited to share with me that he spied while on a walk a Farmer's Market setting up shop. How excited I was to hear this because it is so close to where I live. The following week I decided to get home a little early from work to walk down to the park and see what's going on. The Farmer's Market is open from 3pm to 8pm every Tuesday. I was really excited to see so many people from our community out and about shopping for produce, specialty goods and gourmet goodies. There was gypsy like music (not bad at all) golden hour in the sky, and the wonderful smells of fresh produce, scented crystals and kettle corn in the air. It was wonderful! Children with painted faces, couples walking there pooch, teeny boppers checking out the scene. I highly encourage Long Beach residence, especially those that live so nearby, and we are packed in this area so I know you are out there, to come by and support this environment that breathes new life into this area. I typically don't have a lot of spending cash, but to help stimulate this kind of environment in my neighborhood it is worth a few bucks here and there especially if it's something I was already going to buy in the grocery store. Just a quick note, the rum cake...was amazing... Just save me one. ;)

Yelp
Great place to pick up local produce. The honey they have there is amazing, the fruit is really good, and there was a tamale stand that makes HUGE tamales!!

Yelp
I love that there is a farmer's market so close to my house. My husband and I got the beef ribs and tri tip sandwich and it was delish! They accept credit cards... nice! We'll definitely be back every Tuesday :) We also purchased some salted pepitas for $4.50 for a 5oz bag. The woman at the nut stand lets you sample whatever you want. She also has almonds, sunflower seeds, pistachios, sesame sticks and more in a variety of flavors or just raw. All of the vendors are so friendly and greet you with a big smile. Bring re-usable bags with you because you are guaranteed to leave with a lot of fruits and vegetables. Parking is pretty bad after 5pm, so you may have to park a couple of blocks away. One of the fruit stand vendors accepts credit cards. This particular stand is busy with tons of people sampling fruit, but the fruit is amazing and the service is fast and friendly.

Yelp
It's considerably a small farmer's market but makes up for it's quality in vendors. I haven't tried all the food but for the most part, everything is good. I noticed a huge difference in taste of the vegetables and fruits vs. the ones you purchase at a supermarket like Food4Less or Costco or Vons. Some of the food and produce seems a tad bit overpriced but they gotta make a living and people pay for them so they're doing something right. I like that a lot of the vendors let you sample their food and that's where they get you so beware because you're going to spend money!

Yelp
We definitely needed a farmer's market in this area. I LOVE the local fruits, veggies, and baked goods that the vendors sell here. The live music is a great touch! I try to visit as often as I can, since it's just right across the street from my home.
