MICHELIN Guide Moscow 2022 Young Chef Award: Nikita Poderyagin, Bjorn

"Bjorn was launched in collaboration with the Danish chef Kasper Gaard, who created the menu and set the restaurant on course for its future growth. Bjorn has earned a Green Star for its environmental conformity and sustainable development. The restaurant offers tasting sets like the current set called Familiar Exotics, which uses Russian products to recreate the taste of exotic fruits. Bjorn also adopts an equally thorough approach to its 'Wild Dinner' series, which are essentially field trips with a purpose-designed hyper-seasonal picnic menu, served personally by the chef." - MICHELIN Guide

Fine dining restaurant in the heart of Moscow. Interesting ideas of cooking, some stuff that you almost never try like sting ray or roe meat, but for me the taste was a bit mild without much of a kick. Service was good.

Excellent place for cozy evening As least one time per year we’re visiting this awesome place. Here you can find everything: very tasty food, delicious cocktails, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. There is a regular menu and the gastronomical set, which is updated every year. Actually, we’ve tried here 4 sets (through the years, they update them every year) and every one was special and very interesting. This time we also chose set and it was extremely perfect! The whole set has one common idea of different sides of Nordic cuisine. It consisted of suitable starter, different hot dishes and wonderful dessert as a finish. Of course, we couldn’t resist to our desire to start our evening with a gravlax from the main menu - it definitely worth your attention. Signature cocktails are very interesting - every one reflects the whole concept of the place. Stones, pine and wood, fire - these ingredients help with the serving :) looks and tastes very good. I also want to highlight that there is a very very attentive staff. Guys can help you with a choice and can tell you a lot of information about every dish. Highly recommend!

It’s great a experience if you know what to expect! I took the 7-course tasting menu. The dishes are beautifully presented, there is a great variety in taste, colors and texture. Some of the dishes I could have easily eaten more of, thereas others I would rather put in the category of „interesting taste experience“. Not for everyone but a must visit for foodies.

Good food, but overall experience ruined by lousy service. Food: 4 stars -really inventive cuisine Strawberry ice - interesting combination, but chewy rough rhubarb shavings ruined it Venison tartare - amazing Muksun smorebroad - a little bland, probably due to baked celery Finish soup - very good Veal cheeks - very good Lamb in nettle - very creative, but the meat was a little bland Service: 2 stars From the very beginning our waiter had an attitude: " You will not understand the menu without my help" or "Better try it next time, there's no doubt you will be back". But the real hit was after we finished our meal. Instead of offering us a desert menu - he asked in the rudest possible manner "Want anything else?" It really sounded like he couldn't wait for us to leave. So, no, we will not be back.

Nice place with friendly English speaking staff. The food is amazing and we enjoyed our lunch a lot. We especially like the desert “Last year’s Apple”. Highly recommended.

If you don't speak Russian, it's hard to get by in this restaurant that the offers Scandinavian cuisine. The starters were all amazing especially the zucchini with truffles (if you love truffles). For dessert, the dirty chocolate, delicious!!

I'm blown away by this place. Thr interior and the service is really good but the main attraction is food and it's presentation. Everything is fresh, tasty and each dish combines several flavors. I tried their bread & butter that comes for free. It's perfectly crunchy, salty and whipped butter is easy to spread. After that I ate a duck pate with crispy fried onion bits. Pate is very delicate and smooth while onion bits provide a crunchy kick. The main dish was elk steak with roasted beets and berry sauce. It was my first time trying elk steak and I must say it's delicious. A bit hard to cut but very flavorful especially with the sauce. Totally recommend to check it out if you are visiting Moscow.

One of my all time favorite places! Every 2 years when I’m coming back to Russia, I’m going to this place. Nothing is changing, delicious and unique food, authentic vibes and great service! Mushroom soup is my favorite! Keep it up!
