Black Acres Roastery is an absolute gem for coffee lovers. Their coffee is consistently excellent. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso or settling in with a pour-over, the quality never disappoints. What really makes this place stand out are the baristas. They’re awesome! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and always make you feel welcome. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do and happy to share recommendations or chat about the beans and brewing process.

Really good and deliciously well done coffee. Nice spot as well! Kind and nice people working there too. Will be back next time I’m in Baltimore. Breakfast sandwich was 👌

I love coffee and I love Black Acres even more. Best coffee in Baltimore, no doubt. Fresh, delicious, top tier service. You can tell they care. Try their seasonal drinks too! I just had their passion fruit espresso tonic - light, crisp, perfect balance of the rich espresso with the sweet fruit and bubbly tonic. Perfect for summer!

Google
The two Baristas were so friendly and did their best to understand my order and accommodate me. The coffee was incredibly fresh and tasty. It was bold in flavour. The market itself looks nice, but is taken over by a lot of people who aren't even shopping, so it ruins the flow of traffic a little bit. But overall, I loved it.

Google
Coffee shop in Lexington Market building with a great selection of coffee drinks and sweet and savoury pastries. One of 2 locations for this roaster. I visited just before closing on a weekday, the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain the menu. Other than standard espresso based drinks, they offer pour over, and cold brew as well as a small selection of special drinks. I ordered a pour over, which was very tasty, but let down a bit by being in a takeaway cup. Pastries cabinet was well stocked and all looked delicious, I chose a Crogel with cream cheese which I would definitely recommend. Overall a great coffee shop, especially for a take away, however the market area is quite loud and seating is not the most comfortable, would definitely return though.

Have been travelling in USA for 3wks both west and east coasts and without doubt this was the best coffee we have had. Super nice team (of 3) behind the counter today.

I have to say that this is the highlight of my morning. I come here every morning before work and everyone is so delightful! The coffee, AMAZING, but the people really make this place special. I will continue to tell everyone about this place & hope you get the chance to stop by (trust me, you won’t regret it). Cheers y’all <3

Google
The service was very friendly, the latte was delicious, and the crogel (croissant bagel) was a revelation. No photos cuz I ate it way too fast.

Yelp
I stopped for a Yelp experience & enjoyed a Mistletoe Mocha Hot Latte.. It was delicious & served its purpose for this cold weather.. Rich in taste & delicious.. As soon as I walked up I was Greeted with a smile.. Friendly service.. Coffee station was clean & free of clutter. Stop by, say hello & enjoy one of the tasty holiday specials for a cold day.

Yelp
This is a very good coffee counter inside the cool digs of Lexington Market. The dark roast here is quite good. The prices are not cheap but it's worth it if you ask me.

Yelp
I have tried Black Acres coffee several times but this time I ordered an Americano. The Americano was bolder than the ones in other coffee places. I really noticed a difference in the freshness of the coffee. They have pretty good Sammie that I have tried twice. The people who work here are always nice and friendly.

Yelp
Too Good to go App review! This my second time going to black acres Roastery to pick up a too good to go surprise bag. The roastery is located in a small workplace building on the right side it's spacious and a great place for remote work Inside the bag was a cinnamon roll, a ham and cheese croissant a morning glory muffin and a croissant bagel. The morning glory muffin was fresh and tastes like a carrot cake muffin so I instantly enjoyed It. It was so good I forgot to take a before picture, sorry yall. The ham and cheese croissant was good as well. I waited to go him and air fry It so It can be warm and crispy. The cinnamon roll was okay It does have a good cinnamon taste but wasn't as fresh for me. The croissant bagel I turned It into a breakfast sandwich and It was amazing

Yelp
Coffeeeee! It's the 1st sip of the day for most of us. On a recent visit to Lexington Market I was craving a nice iced coffee drink. Black acres had me covered! In addition to their iced coffee section, you can get any latte; iced as well. I opted for the Salt Bae. It features another local favorite, Mouth Party. This chocolate sea salt caramel sauce and espresso was the perfect combo over ice. The larger cup goes for about 6. In addition to the drink, I also purchased a breakfast sandwich. The croissant with ham and cheese (5.75) was sooo airy, crusty and buttery. I inhaled it on 2 bites. LOL! The service was fast and friendly. If you're not hip to coffee and flavors, I found the staff to be great with suggestions. I was delighted to find out about their Open Works location. As it is close to my home. Pay them a visit!

Yelp
It's located on the second floor of the Lexington Market. Friendly barista and good coffee. Has alternative milk options. If you're new to the area, not a great place to work or study as I had hoped based on pictures. The dining area is shared and quite loud in the morning.

Yelp
Yummy iced vanilla latte! Friendly staff and appropriate time taken to get my order. Would visit again and/or check out their Greenmount roastery location!

Yelp
We travel the country for work, trying coffee shops in every city we go to. This place is one of our absolute favorite spots. We come back a lot. Travis, the roaster, is committed to his craft, and you can tell both by the quality of the cup as you sip, and the variety and quality of beans they bring in. Ariel, Matt, and Travis have taken fantastic care of us, are a blast to talk to, and truly love what they do. Come check out the best cup of coffee you'll have today!

Yelp
Probably my favorite coffee shop in the city - their seasonal specials are always delicious. I love popping in here whenever I'm nearby.

Yelp
Delicious matcha and coffee. I'm not the biggest fan of the flavored drinks as they're a bit too sweet, but their latte is delicious if you like a strong coffee taste. I also like the oat milk that they use. The crogel is delicious as well, but I don't really care much for their other pastries/baked goods. Would recommend the crogel though if you want a snack as well. Great place to get your coffee, and service is very friendly

Yelp
I loved the Sweet Potato Pie latte. Worth the walk. Courteous staff this morning. I appreciate local ingredients and unusual seasonal special flavors!
