Black and Blue exceeded all my expectations! The specialty cocktails were expertly crafted and the perfect start to the evening. I highly recommend trying one—or two! The crab cake was nothing short of phenomenal, packed with generous amounts of lump crab meat that melted in your mouth. As for the ribeye, it was cooked to absolute perfection. I decided to top it with blue crab meat, and it was a game-changer—a rich, savory addition that elevated the entire dish. The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable night out. Can't wait to return!

We decided to stop by here for our 3rd year of marriage anniversary ! Wow, these guys have such a beautiful establishment! Our waitress was fantastic and the food was cuisine. We will be back for another time! Thank you for having us !

Went here on a department year-end celebration. We had a variety of things and shared them. The seafood tower was great and came with mini Tabasco bottles (which I ended up taking home for my kids). Calamari was so little greasy and under-seasoned for my taste but was the pretext consistency inside. Mushrooms were wonderfully seasoned. Crabcakes were great. Literally, everything we had was wonderful. The standout, though, was access to a decently priced bottle of Justin Isocolese. I love this wine, and it stood up well against the bone-in ribeye.

I recently dined at Black and Blue and found my experience to be mixed. The blueberry cheesecake was decent—comparable to what you might find at the Cheesecake Factory—but it didn’t offer anything truly unique. The porterhouse steak, which I had high hopes for, arrived overcooked and under-seasoned, falling short of the robust flavor one expects from such a cut. Additionally, I did not receive the creamy spinach dish that I ordered, and the chocolate lava cake tasted more like a protein cake than a rich, indulgent dessert. To top it off, the menu is overpriced for the quality of food served. Overall, while there were a few redeeming qualities, the inconsistencies in execution combined with the steep pricing left me less than satisfied with my dining experience.

Love this place. First time dining here. The side dishes are shareable. We ordered the lamb and rib eye. Absolutely delicious! The lamb chops are nice and thick and cooked to perfection 👌 . The steak was also cooked perfectly. The flavor of the beef and lamb were the best I've had. I'm definitely going back. Service is also amazing. Ask for one of the twins.

Google
Very nice restaurant with good food and a great ambiance. The plates were well presented. The beef shortrib was delicious and the steaks our group ordered were also great. The dessert selection is pretty standard for a steakhouse. The cheesecake was good, but overall it seems their focus is on the entrees and house specialties. They definitely try to upsell drinks and sides. We asked for water and they brought us still bottled water which they charged extra for without really mentioning. Watch out for that if it’s important to you.

Google
Service was not bad. We got seafood tower. It says it’s for four people and the server said it’s a huge amount of seafood but actually it was more of an 1.5 people portion. I don’t eat meat so can’t speak much about it but my date said it was okay.

Google
Unexpectedly great place. Modern restaurant with a great selection of fish/seafood and meat. I liked modern design, the service was great and the food was amazing. I will be back to try more options.

Yelp
It was my first time dining at Black and Blue and I had went with my daughter and a coworker. The atmosphere gave a fancy yet warm and cozy vibe. The Decor was beautiful. The lamps that gave a perfect lighting hung like a drooping flower. We had a stunning waitress named Samantha who was very informative and attentive. They had different water options and we chose sparkling water. They also provided two kinds of free fresh bread. The food didn't take much time to arrive it was ready and hot. We ordered the oyster sampler for an appetizer, Ribeye steak, porterhouse steak, a lobster tail, creamy spinach, red skinned mashed potatoes and a vanilla cheese cake for dessert. All of the food was cooked just right and was so delicious! The steak was juicy and cooked to perfection with a crispy goodness on the outside and topped with melted truffle butter on top. So yummy! Overall I rate our experience there a 10/10. I definitely enjoyed such an experience.

Yelp
Nice restaurant that just doesn't quite hit the bar it's trying to reach. Average cocktail, beer, and wine list. Nothing crazy here, for the price of this place, looking for something a bit more sophisticated than the local olive garden. Complete with free bread, pretzel rolls in this case, but any better or more elevated than bread sticks, not really. I eventually settled on getting a glass of wine after finding the cocktails to really just be the standard classics. I got a red tuscan wine blend, oddly it was served cold, and really didn't taste any better than the $5 trader joes section. Started off with the she crab soup, a staple in maryland I grew up eating. They were able to split it for two people if you're looking to share which is great. The flavor was delicious, but really should be labeled a crab bisque rather than she crab soup. There were absolutely no chunks of crab here, not one, where there should be lump blue crab here. There was just a sliver of crab on top and that was it. I got the red snapper for my entree. The fish was a bit overcooked and rubbery around the edges. Also not really seasoned, very bland flavor. There was supposed to be some brown butter rosemary sauce, but I did not taste the brown butter or rosemary here, just a sauce that tasted more like blended up sweet potatoes. There was a sweet potato and blue crab hash underneath, but really the crab was just lost in the sauce and other flavors going on here. The sweet potato was nice though and cut uniformly. We got a few sides to share for the table. The mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and hash browns. The mac and cheese was made with orzo and "three cheeses". I find it odd that they don't just mention what the three cheeses are, after tasting, I would say it's because the cheeses are nothing special, the whole thing tastes very bland, barely cheese. The orzo makes the whole thing taste more like a cheesy rice dish than mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes were probably the best part, pretty good flavor, and a little character from the red potato skins. The hash browns are not what you'd think about traditionally from hash browns, they honestly look more like a chicken bake from costco. Decently crispy, under salted, stuffed with cheese? probably the same cheese from the mac and cheese, something bland and gooey. Not really what you'd expect, and not really that great. The service was good, the waiter was attentive, though a bit awkward and lingered for a tad too long. Overall, the food is good, not great. For half the price, I'd be quite happy, but at this price point, the food really just didn't justify it.

Yelp
We sat at the bar, had 7pm reservations. SERVICE: outstanding. Friendly greetings. Dan, our bartender/server was attentive, personable and pleasant. BAR: comfy seats. My cosmo was made perfectly, although quite small. Not coupe glass small, but not adult size martini glass size. $15. FOOD: Pretzel bread yummy (complimentary). The French fries were crispy and the aioli was tasty. The bone in cowboy rib eye was cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes creamy. ATMOSPHERE: Warm, Classy, Inviting. Many table options from high tops, long tables, lounge and restaurant. Not too loud so you can have a conversation without shouting. Although we did not have a special celebration, the patrons next to us did. They got complimentary dessert with a special topper. It was special but not over the top. Classy.

Yelp
Our experience at black and blue in Burlington was absolutely exquisite. From the second you walk in the door to the moment you leave the service is fantastic. From the hostess, to the servers, to the table bus staff, there is not a detail that is overlooked. The space is very intricate and refined, a very clean environment with nice decor. I unfortunately forgot to snap a pic of our appetizers, but the calamari was delicious. Perfectly crunchy fry with a very fresh taste to the seafood. The 14 ounce boneless ribeye was a top five steak I have ever had in my life. The steaks come with a choice of two side sauces, I opted for the Gorgonzola cream and the peppercorn cream, both were fantastic. I highly recommend this establishment and truly believe that it rivals any steakhouse in the Burlington area.

Yelp
Came here for Dine Out Boston and was subjected to amazing service, an elegant yet unintimidating ambiance, and the best soup I have ever had (She-Crab soup). Following flavorful and creamy goodness was a 7 oz filet mignon wrapped in bacon, and ending with a flourless chocolate torte. Everything was tasty and I would definitely return, special occasion or otherwise.

Yelp
Overall, our dinner at B&BS&C was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It wasn't perfect, as there were a few missteps along the way. But in each case, the issue was quickly corrected to our satisfaction and a credit to our serving team. The quality of the service, food, and atmosphere were top notch. On being seated, one thing that surprised me was that we were not given a wine list of wines by the bottle, just the drink list with wines by the glass. This list is available upon request, and perhaps they either don't have enough of the lists to go around, or many customers don't order wines by the bottle. They can be pricey here. But we were able to find a bottle of Spanish red wine we really liked at a reasonable price. Meal options are "talked through" quite well, food comes out quickly, and we were checked on constantly. My strip steak, while cooked exactly to order, was seared slightly more than expected. Everything else was spot on. Our biggest issue was with the oyster sampler. We ordered the sampler of 4 oysters, but 6 were brought to us. I told our server that we had only ordered 4, and he said our waiter gave us the other 2 gratis. However, when we received our check, we saw that we were indeed charged for them. After pointing this out, we were compensated quickly, but I suggest that if you order oysters and don't get the same number as you ordered, check your bill. That being said, the oysters were delicious! All in all, it was a fine and delicious evening. It's ironic that there's a B&BS&C only a couple of minutes from my home, yet I came to this one, 3 hours away, first... gotta hit the one in Albany now.

Yelp
I always like coming to Black and Blue, Burlington, when my parents come in for good high end meal. The restaurant is clean and classy and the food is always delicious. The service is very attentive and prompt. We ordered the Kansas City bone in steak and the lamb chops and the creamy kale side and mushrooms. We did order the salad and tuna tartare for app. We tried ordering king crab but unfortunately that was not available when we went at four forty five pm on Friday. The steackks were cooked perfectly. Make sure you make your reservations in advance as it books very quickly. There's plenty of parking outside.

Yelp
I was here Saturday night and the food and the service was very good. I would go back here. The bar is fun too!

Reid F.

Yelp
Both service and food were outstanding. Chris, our waiter, gave us excellent recommendations. The bottle wine list is good, but the wines by the glass do not list the vintage. Otherwise, everything was great,

Mimi G.

Yelp
Great food the crab and lobster fondue was delicious. The drinks were great and restaurant was beautiful for Christmas

Yelp
First time visiting here from La and I have to say this place does not disappoint. Such a cute, chic and quaint atmosphere. Emanuel and Kayak were absolutely fantastic, with the greatest attention to detail and customer service. Highly recommend the shrimp cocktail, crab cake, steaks /sides and crème brûlée.

Rebecca D.

Yelp
Food delicious, ambience was great. Understandably busy but minimal wait for a New Year's Eve night. Price was very reasonable. Service was fine- waitress was nice but audible from several staff members that they were stressed and ready to go home.

Jojo R.

Yelp
The rib eye was a perfect medium rare and juicy.. but the highlight of our meal was the chocolate lava cake-- the largest I've ever seen EVER!

Ang R.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food, excellent service, pricey but well worth it! This restaurant is great for a special occasion, a romantic dinner, or even a business dinner. Highly, highly recommended!

Yelp
Service - we were seated really quickly. Our service staff were all friendly and attentive! Ambiance - classy wood and black metal fixtures throughout the restaurant. Nice comfortable seating. There were big screen TVs playing college football when we visited at the bar area. Food - we ordered the following: Calamari, chopped and Caesar salad, lobster, lamb, shrimp, filet mignon, bone in cowboy ribeye, scallops, sides of Asparagus, Mac and Cheese and mushroom. Desserts of Creme Brûlée and Cheese cake to share. Alhambra Malbec wine. Everything was delicious (except for the mushroom which was waaaaaay too salty).

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner here! To start, the wait staff goes above and beyond to make sure the tables are clean and they pay attention to every detail. Our waitress reviewed the menu with us and explained the new options. They just recently updated the menu 2 days ago, so there were many new drink and food options to choose from. For appetizers, we decided to go with the meatballs and crab cake. The meatballs were delicious and came on skewers in sauce. The crab cake was served with an arugula salad with citrus fruit. Both apps were delicious. We also got the She Crab Soup, which was also delicious. The soup is great to dip the bread in too. For our entrees, we got steak and snapper. We also got sides of asparagus and hash. The steak was cooked absolutely perfect. The snapper was amazing! The purée with it was unbelievable and I couldn't get enough of it. The asparagus was good, but I definitely wish they gave us more since it was $12 and we only got a few pieces. The hash was amazing; it was crispy with a soft potato explosion inside and truffle and Parmesan on top. We were there about 2 1/2 hours so it is definitely an experience to savor rather than a fast meal, but we enjoyed our time. You can tell they put a lot of care into service. They check on you frequently, make sure you have what you need, and give you a wonderful experience. The restaurant is spotless and the booths are so comfortable! There are even soft pillows in the booths. They take great pride in what they do and it really shows. We had a great night!

Yelp
Good food and drinks. Nice help too Steak and seafood are always good and well served

Alex B.

Yelp
Worst service I have had in a long time. After 90 minute from order to entree with no aps. My steaks sat on my table for 15 minutes before I finally asked the host stand for knives. Truly embarrassing level of service.

D. C.

Yelp
We dined at Black and Blue for our anniversary and the acknowledgment of our special day was lovely. The service was outstanding, and the appetizer, lobster toast, Caesar salad, and sides we ordered, mashed potatoes, creamed kale, and mushrooms, were fabulous. The only rub was that steaks come on a heated, sizzling platter, and my steak, ordered medium rare, was medium by the time I dug in. I will ask for my steak to be plated on a regular plate the next time I go, hoping to get a red, warm center.

Yelp
"Nice environment, great dishes, and "Enthusiastic service" ,definitely worth a visit

Yelp
5 Stars from start to finish. The hostess was funny and personable. We got there early and she was able to seat up, but we chatted it up a bit. When we sat at the table, we had an amazing team. They were attentive, chatty enough with out being over bearing, and personable. For drinks our waiter asked what we liked and made recommendations. Once the cocktails came, we enjoyed the drinks and started reviewing the menu. At no point did we ever feel rushed. We finally ordered, and ordered more than we could eat (with the sides) as we wanted to try different foods and bring home the sides. We both ordered Ribeye, me with the Truffle butter, and my dinner partner with the Béarnaise. And again, we went over board on three sides to share: The french fries, Orzo Mac and Cheese, and Mexican corn. The steaks arrived and were PERFECT. Each were cooked to our request (One Rare, on Medium Rare). They truly melted in the mouth with amazing flavor and tenderness. The fries were perfect and the favorite of the three sides. Mexican Corn - excellent. We both liked the flavor of the Mac and Cheese, but neither was crazy of the pasta being Orzo. In fairness, we knew what we were getting and still made the choice. We tried and we were underwhelmed... but that does not take away from the amazing service and food. I will be back

Maria A.

Yelp
So I was able to return with a gift card that was offered and I have to say they blessed me with a cowboy ribeye that was perfectly cooked and I didn't have to flip it myself, (previous review). Thanks Allie G for allowing me to have a better experience. I went to the bar this time, Tito was the server and it was great to have him for a second time, always making sure I didn't run out of my drink. Thanks again!!!!!

Yelp
Black and Blue is getting a 1 star from me today due to a reservation error on behalf of the restaurant. I've dined at Black and Blue many times and believed the establishment to be one of the better fine dining options in the area. However, this most recent experience was appalling. We had made a reservation on 01/13, for a party of 5 for 7pm. The occasion was a birthday celebration. Once we arrived it was learned that whoever took our reservation had reserved us for 5pm instead of our requested time of 7pm. Long story short, we didn't have a reservation this evening. So picture us on a Saturday night getting ready for a birthday celebration dinner that we've been looking forward to, to come and find out Black and Blue had messed up our reservation, and could not accommodate us in any manner. We spoke with a manager / host as well and they pretty much told us to kick rocks as there was nothing they could do for us. I was a fan of Black and Blue when they opened up but after this experience I won't be returning.

Yelp
My husband and I came to dinner here with his mom for a fun celebratory holiday dinner. We got the calamari and Maryland crab soup for appetizers. The complimentary bread and butter were amazing! My husband and I got the scallops for our main course with three sides: cauliflower gratin, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes. We got the chocolate molten cake for dessert and the key lime pie. The decor and ambience were lovely and the servers were attentive! We will definitely be back again.

Ryan P.

Yelp
Excellent surf, regrettable turf. Disclaimer I went with a to go order as I was staying in the hotel upstairs. Pros: nice staff and the seafood. The half lobster was fantastic and very fresh and the crab cake was amazing. The steak I got was chewy, fatty, and frankly just not that great compared to what I was expecting. The order of fries that looked so great on the menu and sounded so flavorful ended up lacking freshness and flavor even with the ketchup they included. The aioli helped but not much. I was actually kind of embarrassed over what I ordered vs what I saw other people get. If you go please try whatever seafood you can get your hands on & avoid the steak and fries.

Yelp
In back of the Burlington Mall next to the Resident Inn. Parking is not too bad depends on what time you go. We decide to bring my dad here for his b-bay. We had reservations and when we arrived we waited for about 10 min. We walked a long side the bar to the other side of the restaurant to be be seated . Very nice atmosphere with very nice ambiance. We ordered steaks and some sides. Food was excellent and waiters even more excellent. We would definitely come back, prices are slightly up there but worth every penny. Looking a place for just drinks or eat out on date night , this is the spot. Service A+++ Food A+++ Atmosphere A+++ Bathrooms cleanliness A++++ Great job to our waiter, you made our experience Awesome !!!! Keep up the good job !!!!

Dee C.

Yelp
From the atmosphere, to the food, to service. They are a grade A team. Now let's talk about the drinks. They have this sparking cosmo so good, and the espresso martinis too. I got to try so many different reds the H5 was my favorite. They really know how to take care of their customers. The food is so good that wagu meatball is something else. It's great for groups, and again the atmosphere is crazy. It's easy to get stuck in hanging out in there.

Yelp
Last minute find (and remembered a while back wanting to try this place when they expanded to MA) after showing some real estate properties and we were not disappointed. The area is spacious with baked-in brick arch ceilings as if you were in a renovated underground railroad station or church. Very attentive and professional staff when they noticed we needed plates to share one of our entrées. What's not shown here is the she-crab soup and (I wish we took a pic before we starting slurping up the dish) don't let the minimal crab meat fool you - the soup itself is packed PACKED with great crab flavor, meaning they incorporated the crab meat, juices and/or made a thicker broth from the shells to achieve such a dominant flavor of crab. It's the first crab soup I've had with an onslaught of crab flavor punching your tongue! Moving further into the apps, we ordered the lobster toast and it was layered and topped with lots of lobster meat under a bed of avocado. The toasted brioche was crunchy to give it a contrast in the texture and it worked very well. The creaminess of the black tobiko caviar gave it another level of flair and flavor. When we saw the bone-in cowboy ribeye, we knew we wanted to order that and that's just what we did, with the black truffle butter. As soon as the steak arrived, we cut into it and it was a perfect medium rare and the tenderness and flavor along with the black truffle butter was absolutely decadent. We cut a slice, chewed and sank into our seats in amazement. The juices oozed out, the char and crust brought great texture against the tenderness of the interior. This is one of the times your chewing frequency needs to slow down to appreciate and savor the execution and the flavor. For our sides, we had asparagus and a mix of wild mushrooms and you just can't go wrong with those - perfectly cooked and tender and nicely palate-cleansing for another bite of steak. We had to forgo dessert to keep the steak flavor in our mouths.

Yelp
Had a great experience at Black and Blue. Service was outstanding! Waiter was Manny and his assistant was Mira. They were both attentive, personable and knowledgeable. Started with a great glass of wine and the wife went with old dependable margarita in a salted glass. We had a delicious crab bisque and a summer salad with watermelon and greens. Both were great! We then split a pasta dish of papadelle and mushroom that was fantastic! If you are not big into olive oil and butter, may not be the dish for you! Well seasoned and delicious! We both went with the 7oz filet and they were well cooked as ordered, medium and medium well. Lots of flavor and the potatoes and green beans were great accompaniments. Food was soo good that we ordered desert to go! No room!! Yet still had some leftovers!! Throughout the meal Manny and Mira were attentive and quick with water refills, remove dirty plates or to box anything to go. Great service made the night. Will be back!

Londa S.

Yelp
The restaurant was located at the bottom of the hotel. It's very elegant and customer service was outstanding. I was in town for a business conference. The host, waitress, drinks, and food was astonishing. The steak was cooked to perfection medium well.

Susan F.

Yelp
First time for a business dinner. Food was great. Service left a lot to be desired. One of our party had a dairy allergy, noted when our wait person asked. Apps were ordered for the table. Only when they were delivered did the wait person mention they ALL had dairy. Meal was delivered - runner could not distinguish between steak with butter and not - tried to serve our dairy allergy party steak with butter. One of our party was puzzled by what should have been Grouper. The chef (not the manager) came to the table with an attitude and was unapologetic, stating yes it's grouper. Again, food was great. I had filet, we had street corn, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese - all very tasty. Will not be back however because of the lack of attention to detail for the service.

Sara B.

Yelp
The food service and ambience is excellent at Black and blue! Our waiter Calvin was the sweetest and his wife had the restaurant under control! Everything we tried was delicious from the lobster toast and pork belly appetizer to the vanilla bean crème brûlée what a delicious experience!

Yelp
Looked for a good steak restaurant and this place popped up. It was a Sunday evening, not that busy, place was 1/2 full? Was greeted by a friendly host and seated promptly. The table we were brought to was an odd choice. There were clearly other tables but was seated against a wall with the swinging doors to the kitchen a few feet away. There were seats by the glass wall to the outside that would have been more aesthetically pleasing and we were tempted to ask to move but didn't want to seem like annoying patrons. And then another couple was seated by us and you could tell after they looked around they wondered the same. I have been in the restaurant business for over 30yrs and understand a seating chart to be fair to the servers and stations but when leaving it was very clear that would not have been an issue since there were only a few servers and in my opinion where we were seated was quite awkward. Regardless within a minute we had water and bread all brought by a very upbeat, smiling server. Then the server taking the orders, though not prompt, apologized for the delay. So far atmosphere was good but poor decision on seating. Service was very good for the most part. On to the food. We ordered the waygu meatballs, what an utter disappointment. First the runner who brought out the dish mentioned that it was very hot, he probably meant the dish itself because it was only warm. I've had many dishes with Waygu and this did not taste like Waygu. If you've ever gone to IKEA and gotten the Swedish meatballs with the orange/tan sauce, that's what these tasted like. Granted I like those Swedish meatballs but that's not what I was paying for. We ordered a filet mignon, mushroom pasta, side of asparagus and side of mac n cheese. Filet was very good, cooked well and flavor without any sauces was delicious. The asparagus side was nothing special, roasted perfectly with a good flavor. The mushroom pasta was just ok. Very bland even with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese but again cooked well and mushrooms were tasty. Needed some salt and pepper. And lastly the mac n cheese....was just tasteless. The only flavor came from the baked breadcrumbs on top which wasn't much at all. We each took a few bites and stopped. It was cooked well and we both agreed it can be taken home and improved on. They need to either use a different cheese (or cheeses) or make sure someone is tasting this dish before it leaves the kitchen. Overall we won't be returning. Service, ambiance and only one dish was very good which doesn't equal going back. But never take my word and see for yourself.

Yelp
For awhile now, I wanted to come in and try their GRAND Seafood Tower, which was quite small compared to my recent experience with towers. Still a great assortment of seafood, but don't let it shy you away from ordering an entree. I ordered the bone-in ribeye, which was quite tasty on one side and if you were to flip it to the other, you can taste it burnt. My highlight would be the raspberry sorbet. Even though it was only 3 small scoops, it was packed full of flavor and sweetness! I think the restaurant needs brighter lights, and a change in color. On the outside sign, the Black & Blue are their respective colors, inside it's dark and brown. All in all, it's a nice place for a special occasion or date night. I do apologize for accidentally taking a photo with flash on as well!!

Christina G.

Yelp
Came here for a work dinner. I ordered a martini, which was very good. For apps, we had the meatballs and pork belly. They sauce on both were great. I ordered the filet for my entree with blue crab as a topper. The hose radish sauce and butter on the side was very solid. My steak was also cooker perfectly. The whole are over this was way pretty neat but could walk around, as it was pouring rain. All around, it was a pretty solid spot and cool vibe.

Rebecca L.

Yelp
We love this restaurant. We haven't been disappointed yet. The dishes are delish and filling. The service is on point and the decor is great.

Keia B.

Yelp
The food, service, and ambiance was amazing!!! We stayed at this place for hours because it was nothing short of a good time. We ordered the Waygu meatballs, calamari, and crab & lobster fondue for the table and enjoyed each and every bite. My personal favorite were the meatballs - the flavor and texture was delightful and a must try! I also enjoyed the fondue as I love crab and lobster and it did not disappoint. I don't eat calamari, but I can tell you the others did and they thoroughly enjoyed it! The drinks were just as good, I had the Cosmo which was delish! And for dinner, I ordered the Filet (medium) JUICY AND FULL OF FLAVOR with the shareable asparagus and mashed potatoes. Those were sooooo good as well and the potatoes were super fluffy, YUM. For finishers, we had the cheesecake and chocolate cake - OH MY, AMAZING! Again everything was super good and worth every penny. We made reservations about 2 hours prior and were immediately seated and attended to upon arriving, we were not rushed with our check as the waiter was very thoughtful to that and smelled amazing might I add. Who wants to go to a place where your waiter smells awful?l definitely not me lol. This place is a must try! You won't be disappointed. First time in a while, I've had good food and service!

Yelp
Really beautiful restaurant.. especially the bar! Perfect place to get a few cocktails and a nice dinner. I tried the NY Strip and ordered fries and mac & cheese as sides. Fries were to die for! Steak delicious too, but I ordered it medium rare and came medium well if not well. Very little pink. But flavor was really good. Lastly, despite it not being busy at all, service felt bare bones for a higher end restaurant. Didn't feel like the waitress was paying attention. And I think my medium rare steak was left waiting on the sizzling plate so long that it became medium well... Was barely checked on while I was there and felt rushed to leave once I was done eating. It felt like I was bothering to order a drink.

Yelp
The service was horrible. It took way too long in between meals. From the time we sat down we waited 2.5 hours for our entreas to be brought to the table. My husband's meal was cold and flavorless. The sides we ordered we were told by the time we got our food was sold out. However, after changing it twice on the third time we told them not worry about it. Yet, they still charged us for sides we never got. Our server was new, but was wonderful despite everything he was dealing with. The GM IS A COMPLETE TOOL AND UNPROFESSIONAL!

Yelp
We had dinner for 6. Three couples, the server was super nice. Very informative on menu and gave us time to chat and relax. Food was really tasty, meatballs app the tuna tartare, beef tartare were all really good. The delivery of entrees was a bit confusing but the food was really delicious. They split a ribeye for us and also the steaks were cooked perfectly. Dessert was fun and well worth it. We were so happy to have chosen this place. Really cozy and relaxing. We will absolutely be going back. Great job!!

Yelp
This place has the best appetizers!! Of course the other is really good, too (who doesn't love a good steak with crab legs?!). But the appetizers were so creative and different from any other place we've been (and we eat a lot of steak!). Highly recommend the pork belly and Wagyu meatballs (soaked with a caramelized onion sauce!). The bar space is quite extended here, so if you're like us and only eat at the bar, I'm gonna guess you can count on getting in here when you want (we went on Saturday evening and sat down with no wait). Maybe we'll see you there next time!

Yelp
My Fiancé and I LOVE this restaurant. We have come here twice for special occasions now, and the staff and service is exceptional. Our waiter Tony was attentive and wonderful, and our food was absolutely amazing. You really get your moneys worth and more at Black and Blue. Can't recommend enough! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary celebration!

Yelp
I enjoy Black & Blue as a nice place to go out and enjoy good food. I had the mixed greens, which they were able to split with my partner and I, the ribeye, and mushrooms. As always, everything was well prepared! The sauces they provide are awesome (favorites are the butter and bearnaise). While I didn't get it the last time, I've had the warm chocolate bomb cake and you get a HUGE slice. Alexander, our waiter, was on point and such a joy to have. I will be asking for him every time I'm back.

Yelp
I love this place. My friends and I would come here periodically and have a "dude's night out" or "friends' night out." Drinks and steaks are top notch. Its expensive... but what isn't expensive anymore? Servers are top notch; when they forget things, they will usually comp us with sides or take it off the bill which is the right way to do things. Cheap bottles of Caymus compared to other fancy restaurants. Will keep coming back here as long as nothing changes.

Yelp
Did a 40th Birthday for my wife. The Black and Blue Crew really helped make it happen. They gave us a private function with a nice kind hearted waiter. Highly recommended. Food was good the atmosphere was very amazing and modern.

Yelp
Excellent service. Clean, minimalist, but comfortable setting. Steaks were cooked to specifications and were accompanied by excellent sauces and sides. Pork belly app was delicious. Even the bread (pretzel bread) was good.

Yelp
Hands down the worst filet I've ever had. It was completely burned on the outside and too overcooked. The salt was way overpowering on the filet, especially on the mushrooms. My husband and I were really excited to try to this place but was left completely disappointed. The price of the filet/sides are comparable to other steakhouses. Definitely save your time and go somewhere else. The people sitting behind us had sent back their food and now I understand why. On a positive note, the drinks were good! Unfortunately, I still would not recommend this place.

Yelp
Wow one of the best places I've eaten. Great environment and truly amazing food. Unfortunately i only tried the Caesar salad, tuna tartare and lobster toast but it was incredible. I've been to a lot of places and this was hands down delicious. Great staff too.

Yelp
It was ok. Everything is a la carte. My steak was fine perfect you and the outside charred well We shared green beans and mashed. The individual sides will def feed two Our bottle of wine was expensive by subsurface prices. It was good tho. Not sure if we'd go back. For what we paid there are other steakhouses locally that have better deals. Worth checking out the vibe tho
