So, Facebook, as it is wont to do, showed an ad for Black Angus. I've been in the mood for a good steak via delivery, so I clicked on the ad, found the Burbank location, signed up, and ordered. I had the steak, crispy shrimp combo with broccoli and scalloped potatoes as my sides. I also ordered a separate crispy shrimp thing. Price was really reasonable. I think they use Door Dash drivers, but delivery was free. Excellent. I always enjoy tracking the delivery driver but he seemed to get hung up in NoHo for almost fifteen minutes - not sure if he was delivering other orders, which is always an annoying Door Dash thing, but he got here prior to my one o'clock delivery time so that part was fine.
So, let's get to the nitty-gritty and the gritty-nitty, the food. Because the Dasher spent fifteen minutes in NoHo, food was not as hot as it would have been had he not spent fifteen minutes in NoHo. It was warm rather than hot, but I just gave it a quick nuke in the microwave and that problem was solved. The steak was of high quality, nicely seasoned, and the garlic mushroom butter added a nice and subtle flavor. I really enjoyed it - six-ounces and very filling. The scalloped potatoes were really tasty and the broccoli was fine. The bread was excellent. The crispy shrimp suffered the most from lack of heat and the microwave isn't great for fried food in my experience. They were still good and the cocktail sauce was excellent, too.
All in all, I was very happy with the meal and I think I'll go have a meal at the restaurant itself. I'd add a photograph, but all the food is currently residing in my stomach.
