Black Bart's Brunch

Great food and really really nice staff! We came here based on reviews and local recommendations and were not disappointed. It didn't hurt that the waffles were something we don't see on menus that often. The food was fresh and hot and the atmosphere was really pleasant and our server was excellent. The coffee was really good and I actually got one for the road. We'll be back when we come through, for sure.

I don't know where to start. The menu is so unique. They took boring breakfast food and zhuzhed it up. Trust me, there's something on this menu that you will want for breakfast or brunch or lunch. I had such trouble deciding. I ended up with chicken waffle with the Asian sauce. And my significant other got the Hash Mash. 6 out of 5 stars for both. Coffee was too notch. A lot of effort put into this menu. A lot of effort put into the quality and recipes. Staff was so friendly! We were able to sit outside with our dog which was a bonus because it was a hot day. We were in a nice shady spot. I loved everything about this experience and recommend stopping here. I would definitely come back the next time I'm passing through. ⚠️ warning ⚠️ Sunday is a brunch $25 per person and extra for beverages. A cute quaint place. Food was good but the buffet was always almost empty . Waitress was nice, took my order for diet coke but later into my meal I found out there was none...bummer...im sure any day but Sunday is the day to go here. If I had known Sunday was buffet only we would've ate elsewhere. I think this should be clearly advertised on the web and out front before you walk in.

Great experience at Black Bart's! Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Nashville Hot chicken sandwich was awesome, will definitely be back! Bart and the crew were awesome. What a great local place for Brunch! *Edit* Tried more things (the Hash with "all the meats" and the Breakfast Tacos) and they were both also fantastic. Sweet or savory (or both) Bart's has it figured out. Mimosas were great too! Keep doing what you're doing, guys!

Black Barts was delicious! I ordered the starry night lemonade (fancy strawberry lemonade) and had the Korean style chicken and waffles. Both were fantastic. I also got to try the Mumbai fries which were wonderful as well. Warning though they’re spicy 🥵

What an amazing lunch. My Sister and I came here for lunch! I ordered the Mumbai fries. My sister ordered Bibimbap Rice dish. The Mumbai fries were one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. Everything was fresh and made from scratch. The flavor was explosive. The Korean BBQ sauce on my sisters dish was amazing. Don’t miss out on this amazing establishment.

Fun atmosphere. We sat on the patio and enjoyed conversing with Joplin-she was an excellent server! We had the chicken and waffles with the maple bacon add on and the brunch fries! Oh! My! Lanta! Soooo good! Don't miss this stop!

This place is a gem in the town of Pagosa Springs. We came here for breakfast and got the waffle meal. The waiter recommended a few variations of it and we are grateful for their very tasty recommendations!

The food was spectacular. My husband and I were very impressed by the quality, taste and presentation of our meals. Our waitress was charming and very attentive. We do not live near Pagosa Springs but are considering reasons to drive thru there again just so we can go back!!

Food is incredible, service is incredible! The Mumbai fries are a must. The Jasmine boba is my favorite. The maple bacon chicken & waffle is to die for. I absolutely love the vibes and They have so many vegan options. Someone who has allergies (mine is to dairy) is well taken care of here!! No where else in pagosa works around food allergies with sensitivity like they do!

We went for breakfast food but the lunch menu looks interesting .staff are very nice and we enjoyed sitting outside . The food and drinks were way too sweet and overladen with sauce. I would recommend asking for sauces or syrup on the side of you don't want your food drowning in it. I ordered the chicken and waffles and only tasted syrup. I told my server and she offered me other options or a new chicken and waffles. I declined. I will say she tried. It was like dessert instead of breakfast. My kids who ordered the açaí.bowl liked it and my husband who ordered the Benedict said it was fine. The waffles sounded so good but even my kids thought they were too sweet.

Fantastic service! Joplin was our waitress. She was fun. The lemon blueberry waffle with cookie butter was the stuff dreams are made of. We also had the eggs benny, chocolate stuffed waffles, churro waffle, fried cauliflower and we'd recommend all of it. Drinks were just as tasty. I had a Vietnamese iced coffee and the boys had lemonade with strawberry boba and a black starry lemonade with boba. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and our meal!

Awesome experience. The Nashville chicken waffles were fire. Staff was even better.! Don't sleep on that cold brew.

You should definitely try Black Bart's. The prices are fair and the food it's amazing. Also I don't know how they do it but their waffles are lighter than your traditional Belgium waffle. Our server Christy was super friendly and welcoming. It's a cool place right in the heart of town. I'm still full and they earned the 5 star review.

I would 10000% recommend going here. This is the best breakfast spot I've been to in this town. The people were super sweet. Service was fast. Coffee was decent. The star of the show was the chicken and waffles. It was some of the best chicken and waffles I've ever had to be honest-- light and crispy. The place had some board games and there was plenty of seating. You might have some difficulty parking but it's worth it. Ambiance was very nice!

Such friendly service and delicious food. We live locally and will return for sure! I was told almost the entire meno can be made gluten free if needed for allergies which is AMAZING if you are used to limited options. Must try location for sure.

The food was delicious! We were surprised that all the chicken was chicken thighs but still delicious. Our waiter was the sweetest human being on this planet! We loved the outdoor patio seating as well as the music being played. I would 100% recommend this brunch spot!

We're locals and Black Bart's is one of our top favorites. Their coffee is on point and their brunch offerings are spectacular. We love all their waffles, the bibimbap, and the Hash Mash. Great vibes and the owners / staff are all about service and providing a memorable experience for every customer.

First time visit to the brick and mortar. Loved the ambience and the option of sitting and enjoying some of the best designer waffles around. Yum!

This place is increíble! Food was amazing! Bart and Christie were super cool and we had the absolute sweetest server!! On top of all of that was really reasonably priced! Such a cool spot! Definitely will be back!

Ya'll need to invest in a hostess stand or staff to greet guests and put folks on a wait list etc. waited for 10 min out front and even checked in with bar staff...how do you get a table? Very awkward entry. Multiple parties went elsewhere bc there was no one to check in with.

The whole meal was two salty way to much salt. I'm sorry but salt doesn't make food taste good don't eat there unless you want to have your blood pressure go up from the salt blast

**Must-Stop Delicious Spot!** If you're in the area, this place is an absolute must-stop. The Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza was phenomenal--such a unique and flavorful twist that completely blew me away! The service was also top-notch--friendly, fast, and efficient. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and friendly environment! Would've added a photo but we ate it too quick. We will be back!

This was cool, good for sure! Slightly off putting since it's actually in a school cafeteria, but hardly busy and great people working

Had the egg sandwich on the waffle with the veggie bacon and it was PHENOMENAL! So crunchy and delicious. Service was a bit off and they forgot our fruit waffle order and when asked they apologized and said it would be comped (which it wasn't) and we were finally served the wrong one anyway. But all this aside they still get 5 stars because the incorrect waffle was still delicious, they were busy, it was our waitresses 4th day and EVERYONE was so nice and working together. We had time and it was hard to get too upset when the food was so good! Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back and try again!

Brunch was amazing! All of our entrees and drinks exceeding expectations and flavors were well balanced. Food was fresh, perfectly cooking sunny side up eggs and crispy chicken, and prices were reasonable. The brunch fries are a must! . They have been in their new location about two months and the ambiance is great. Service was also good by both Bart and Eli! We will come back our next visit in!

Went here for brunch. The staff were extremely kind and the service was great. The food and drinks on the other hand were very underwhelming. We were extremely excited for chicken waffles and the boba tea but think we got too hyped off the reviews... We ordered the Jasmine boba and Thai iced coffee for drinks, and the Nashville hot and tikka masala chicken and waffles. The drinks tasted like they had more water than flavor. The chicken was not fried in any type of batter for either of our chicken dishes. Rather it tasted and felt like the chicken was either boiled or cooked very plainly, then covered in sauces over a waffle, where both also tasted a bit plain. I guess we were expecting the chicken to, you know.... be fried in batter like any chicken and waffle dish, more so for the Nashville hot chicken. However what we got for both dishes was way too much sauce which was overcompensating for the very average chicken and a waffle that got soggy from the excess sauce. So unfortunate cause I really did want to like the food with how great the staff was. Seems like this place is new so I hope for their success and that they continue to improve their menu!

If you're looking for a delicious brunch, this is your spot! Everything we had here was delicious, and the service was excellent. We had a Vietnamese iced coffee, a chai boba, the chicken and waffles, and the brunch fries. Both plates had so much flavor, and the drinks were delicious. 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent! We are locals and have meaning to try Black Bart's Brunch....And finally did today! Super good. Decent prices, nice sized portions and superior quality. Waitstaff was very nice as well. We'll be back soon. D/D

I can not recommend this spot enough. The owners are amazing people and provide some of the best service round town. Every week, I find myself craving their menu. Tikka Masala pizza is a MUST try.

Had friends and neighbors rave about Black Bart's Brunch and I really wanted to love it. Maybe it was an off day, maybe the cook was new, but we didn't enjoy the food. We had a fried chicken sandwich which was over cooked - so much so I was unable to bite it; I took it off the bun and had a difficult time wrestling it with a knife and fork. I tore off a piece with my hands and it was unseasoned and the brunch sauce had no flavor either. The brioche bun was toasted perfectly and the pickles were delicious though. The other entree was an open-face BLT with an over easy egg and avocado. Portion was small, ingredients were fresh but the overall entree was meh, difficult to cut served in a metal pan that slid around under the knife. Waffle fries were good. Service was good. The soft drink was served in a small glass with a giant straw and no refills. We will give them another chance because they're such nice folks and we want them to succeed.

Yummy waffles. We were driving through Pagosa Springs and I ordered online about 30 minutes out. I tried the banana Nutella churro waffle. Very tasty. Place was a bit hard to find. They have the food truck parked in the lot, but you need to go in the school and walk to the cafeteria in the back to order of pick up food. Worth the stop.

My family of 5 each had a drink order - 2 bubble teas, 2 coffees for the adults and one lemonade (that was scratched off but the owner went out of her way to make one). We ordered the mountain fog and jasmine pitaya bobas and they were both really good! The coffees were fresh and just the right portions of ingredients. The lemonade was not overly sweet- just the way it should be!

Best food truck in the area! Perfect size waffles with savory or sweet options. The prices are good. There were many coffee options! I could make this an every Saturday event.

Best breakfast taco - ever! Our first time visit yo Black Bart's - we will definitely return during our next trip to Pagosa Springs!
