One of the best vegan soups we’ve ever had (Turnip!) and perfect for a cold and windy Icelandic day. They had lots of vegan cakes too. The tofu salad wasn’t great as the tofu seemed deep fried, but the soup more than made up for it.

We ordered turnip soup, vegan chocolate cake and sour mango cake. The turnip soup was rich, warm, flavorful and truly satisfying! They served it with bread and butter. The chocolate cake was creamy, the mango cake was melt in your mouth delicious! Customer service was excellent! The view of the black beach enhanced the whole experience! Highly recommend! 🇮🇸👍🏽

It's a fast food. The food has no taste. I have never ate such a bad fish n' chips. The fish was soaking wet. "Icelandic restaurant" my a**. The lamb chops have no taste either, more like pork than lamb, and it's also filled with water, I'm not kidding! The beer is, well guess what.. cut with water. There is no service, it's all do it yourself, but they are audacious enough to suggest tips. The burgers do not look good, the meat is definitely not 100g. By the way, the "fried vegetables" supposed to be served as if it was a main ingredient, is barely there, soaking in oil that time, but not cooked though. Anyway, go to pub in Vik. Also, the toilets are dirty

We tried the delicious meringue cake and turnip soup, both of which were fantastic. So good, in fact, that we returned just for the meringue cake! The location is perfect, too—right by the beach, allowing us to enjoy the stunning views while we ate. Highly recommend to try their cakes when you visit black beach

This is the only restaurant near Black Sand Beach, a bit on the expensive side but of course as it is the only restaurant near that area. They had amazing Cappuccino, Green Pasta was also nice, they were also so nice to to return the money for pasta that was not good. Chicken Salad were really good, I would recommend that to all.

Best lamp soup I’ve ever had! The taste is just right, with many lamp meat and vegetables inside. Very grateful for the owner’s kindness, to give us some warmth in this cold weather ❤️ Loved to visit here again.

This is located in the parking lot at the beach. There are a ton of food choices and looked reasonably priced. When I got there there was a sign up saying the grill had a 30 minute wait - which I though was nice because some places they don't tell you ahead of time and if you're on a schedule it's frustrating. So I opted for the turnip soup since it was ready and fast. Came with a few slices of a nice crusty bread. Huge portion of soup so I thought that paying less than 3k ISK was a great deal. Really flavorful, I actually couldn't finish it all.
