Black Bean Deli Review - Mills 50 - Orlando - The Infatuation

"The fact that there’s often no lunchtime parking at Black Bean Deli is a testament to how good this Cuban food is. Circle a few times to snag a spot, and your reward will be some of the best pan con bistec, empanadas, frita burgers, and cortaditos you can find in town. The cubano is their specialty, but don't overlook the medianoche. This is more of a grab-and-go deli with limited seating indoors, although there are a few picnic tables out front." - Cheryl Rodewig

First visit in 5 years, and LOVED IT! Okay, so I’ve known about this place since the pandemic when they were only taking walk up business with a slightly limited menu at that time. Fast forward to today, after living in LA for the last 5 years, I’ve finally made it back! Chopped. Chicken Cuban Bowl and Ropa Vieja Empanadas, out of this world! Great serving, I did pause the Tomato Salad for dietary reasons and they kindly added some extra black beans and rice. Pretty wonderful cooked chicken, beautifully seasoned tender and moist. Black Beans and Yellow Rice perfection in this mix! Ropa Vieja Empanadas made with very tender and tasty beef, perfect seasoning and light Empanada shell. Both were substantial in portion and very much a “made with love” presentation and taste! Eager to return soon and try many other dishes. Service was incredibly kind at the counter, take out wait time was less than 10 minutes (and they had many Uber Eats orders hot and ready to go on the pick up counter). While I waited I looked around the dining area, pleasant and clean decor, comfortable inviting atmosphere and plenty of patrons enjoying a late lunch. I feel like this place would fit very well in the LA Food scene, just so fortunate to have this in Winter Park!

I’ve been coming to Black Bean Deli on and off for a couple of years, and they always hit the spot. Their Bistec sandwich is so good, and the yucca fries are perfectly crispy on the outside while soft and hot on the inside. The dipping sauce for the yucca fries is also amazing. My only complaint though I won’t take a star off is that they’ve been skimping on the sauce in the Bistec sandwich lately. I didn’t ask for light sauce, yet they put the tiniest bit on and then charge extra if you want more, which seems ridiculous. That aside, the food is always delicious, and I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Es verdad: THE BEST CUBAN SANDWICH IN ORLANDO (and maybe anywhere). If you’re a fan of this classic fare, do not miss The Black Bean Deli - a hometown original. There are multiple locations across the metro, but our favorite is in Winter Park off Orange Avenue. This spot is an oasis in the urban jungles of Central Florida, nestled along a hip neighborhood stretch with a growing gaggle of cool restaurants and shops. The decor is sliced from the Hispanic influences and art deco of Miami Beach, and I encourage you to find the quaint outdoor patio - where you’ll be serenaded by Bossanova and hip modern tunes. We love the staff at this joint. Kind, eclectic, and so willing to help. They make it fun, and we dig supporting a local business that supports a diverse community with events like book drives and other cool stuff. The Cuban sandwich is a no-brainer, but you can also shake things up with the Medianoche - a slightly sweeter bread that transforms the traditional recipe and gives it a new twist. We’re huge fans of the chopped chicken bowls - so filling, and the fresh dressing is tantalizing (you’ll want more). If you’re hungry, I recommend the pork plate. The rice, beans, salad, and plantains - by GOD, the plantains - will leave you more than satisfied. The Frita Burger is also a one-of-kind excursion from the typical fare, and so worth a try. OMG… the yuca fries. Bring a friend - you won’t be able to finish them yourself. Wash it down with a Palma or a Topo Chico, and you’ll be saying “te amo.” Make sure you try the pasties! They have both savory and sweet offerings, like the guava pastelitos or ham croquetas, all worth exploring. Breakfast is also a treat. Oh… and for the love of all things, TRY THE CAFE CON LECHE! Best. Ever. BTW - both dine-in and takeout are available.

Chris and his staff did an AWESOME job. Very patient, helpful, kind, etc...they gave us a free sample of their chicken noodle soup, SO GOOD! My girl got the Cuban which was excellent, made to perfection. Melty swiss cheese, fresh carved succulent pork, very well seasoned even the pickles alone were crisp and just amazing I forget the name of mine but it was a freshly carved seasoned pork sandwich, again succulent and made to perfection. The fried plantains we had were fantastic. I never had them before, never thought they were for me but I LOVED THEM. All in all, if I could give them more stars, I would, but we will be back no doubt. It was busy and it's understandable why! Thanks again! 👍 😊

Google
Being Cuban from Miami it was a nice treat to have Black Bean Deli. Finally found a place with an amazing pan con bistec, I would say the best one l've had in Orlando. I especially liked the crispy stick fries in it. There was decent amount of street parking and parking near the restaurant, we went for lunch on a weekend. The ambiance was nice with chill Cuban vibes. The rice and beans weren't bad but personally I prefer a more equal rice to bean ratio as it was mostly beans. And the Croquetas weren't bad. I was happy they had lime when I asked. The service was great and didn't take too long. Definitely worth the drive and is a must try spot in Orlando!

Google
So very happy with our experience at Black Bean Deli. We’d heard about it for quite some time but live close to an hour away. Well, finally, we found ourselves over in Winter Park and swung in for lunch. I got the Cuban sandwich, and my wife got the Cuban bowl with pork. We were both very impressed not only with the value and speed of the order, but the freshness and quality of the food. Taste wise, we both agreed they had the best rice and beans we’ve ever had anywhere—and were huge rice and beans fans lol, so that is saying a lot. Awesome little spot for lunch.

Google
The three items we attempted to order were out. Pork and chicken, even the juice was out. The food was bland and lacking flavor. The chicken bowl definitely lacked flavor, the ham croquet was mushy, the fried yucca was good and the rum cake. Will not be returning. The atmosphere and service were good though.

Google
Our family always enjoys eating here! The Havana pork, Spanish baked chicken, empanadas, croquetas, Cuban bread are perennial favorites. If you find yourself there on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, make sure you try the Frita burger - it's simply amazing! The staff is always friendly and the place has a family vibe. I added photos of the Havana pork and Frita burger below.

Yelp
Every time I come here I forgot why I don't come here more. The food is awesome, the portions are gigantic, the staff is friendly and welcoming and helpful...and now that I've lost more weight again my butt fits on the seats. Just love love love this place. Also, spend the extra $4 to get the platter and bring the rest home, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
This was my first time going to this location and I was pleasantly surprised that they had so much seating available, I'm use to going to the 50 location and it's tiny compared to this. When we entered we placed our order at the counter and were served our food. We ordered a cafe con leche and a guava pastelito to start and both were very good. The coffee was your average cafe con leche and the guava pastelito had the perfect amount of cheese with guava and was very light. The grilled cheese Cubano was toasted perfectly and had a good amount of cheese. The croqueta sandwich had great flavor and was a little dry but I still enjoyed it. The pricing for the food/drinks is very reasonable especially for the quality of food. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Yelp
Stopped by the black bean deli for a quick lunch and I really enjoyed this spot. You order at the counter and then are given a number and your food is brought out to your table. I ordered the Havana pork bowl, my boyfriend order the Cuban sandwich, and a side of Maduros. We thankfully just beat the lunch rush when we arrived and our food came out rather quickly. The Havana bowl was huge and I ate about most of it minus the tomato's. The Cuban sandwich was huge and delicious. The Maduro side was a tower of plantains which was a nice surprise but not what I was expecting at all. We had to pack that up and bring it home. Inside was clean and typical seating with plants decorated around.

Yelp
I can't believe it's taken me this long to check out Black Bean Deli for lunch, but I made it! The outdoor seating was perfect for the day we chose, but the inside seating looked nice and casual as well. I had the Cuban sandwich, and it was both a great size and full of flavor! It was just what I wanted out of this classic sandwich, and I'm a sucker for anything with mustard and pickles. My colleagues enjoyed a few different bowls, and everyone left full and happy. Ordering was quick and efficient, and this made for a perfect lunch spot during the work week.

Yelp
I've been wanting to find a good Cuban bakery somewhere in Orlando. Although this isn't a full throttle Cuban bakery... they do have the usual Cuban pastries here (empanadas, croquetas, etc.), and they are very decently priced and really good here! Any Cuban place that has a delicious green cilantro sauce has a place in my heart, but the fact that they also add avocado into their sauce here is amazing! My boyfriend and I came here for a quick dinner one night, and we weren't disappointed. The staff were very kind even though it was nearing closing time and were somewhat busy. We had some empanadas and croquetas as an appetizer then had the entrees that are pictured here. This is probably the best Cuban food that is in the Winter Park area. My only "complaint" is that my pork in the Havana Pork bowl was a tad bit dry (it's ok though because the magic green sauce fixes everything). It was the end of the day so maybe that's why? Next time I come, it'll be mostly for those pastries, coffee, and possibly a sandwich instead of an entree :)

Yelp
I was really excited to dine at Black Bean since I haven't been there since 2019. I went for dinner around 6:30 and I was surprised at how empty it was. We ordered a white-meat chicken salad, chicken soup, plantains and a rice bowl. The food was fine. It definitely wasn't as good as I remember it being. The chicken in my salad was a little dry and the rice in the bowl tasted like it had been sitting out for a few hours. It was also really expensive. By the time we tipped, it was $54, which I feel is expensive for a QSR with smaller portions. They were very nice, though. I'm on crutches and they held the door for me on my way out. I'd definitely go back but the quality is not as good as it once was.

Yelp
I was only able to try their coffee here. I initially regretted not eating here as well, but glad I at least got to try their coffee. Staff he was friendly and got my coffee drink out very quickly. I ordered their ice cafe con leche. It was not as strong as a traditional cafe con leche, but had just the right amount of sweetness. Not a bad way to start your day on a hot Florida summer morning.

Yelp
Love Black Bean Deli! This has been a go to for cuban sandwich in Orlando for years. I really like to go and get their lunch special, which is $10 for a cuban and black beans and rice. Always super good and on point. I love to add the hot sauce to my sandwich. Also my favorite is their cafe con leche which will be sure to give you that afternoon pick me up!

Yelp
Black Bean Deli is a modern take on cuban dishes served in a contemporary setting. Their menu consists of a variety of different types of bowls as well as sandwiches. They also serve plates with your more traditional cuban options. The environment is one that is quick paced with a modern aesthetic to it. It's got a decent size to allow for seating. I'd consider this as more of a lunch option due to the quickness of the types of foods they offer. I got the salad bowl with roasted chicken. The food comes out very quick which is always a plus. All the ingredients were very fresh and the roasted chicken was moist and tender. The bottom line, I think this is a really good option for a quick lunch. You can get things on the lighter side and things that are quite tasty as well.

Yelp
Our buddy John tipped Chas and I off to a spot near Orlando that had a killer Cuban sandwich so right away my interest was peaked. We were staying near Orlando at the time so we hopped into the car and drove to Winter Park to check out Black Bean Deli. We got some various appetizer type things as well but the points of focus here are the Media Noche, The Cuban, and the Pan Con Bistec. It would be foolish of me to not also mention that anytime we hit an establishment like this if they offer a Cafe con Leche ... we get it. The woman at the counter was very nice and helpful and the business had plenty of tables/was well lit and clean. Started off by trying the Media Noche. I enjoyed this very much but I did miss the pickles on it (they were available by request but we wanted to get an idea for it with/without) and although I loved this bread, I do think I prefer the bread the Cuban comes on. This was like a sandwich on a sweet piece of cornbread almost. Again that is not to say I didn't highly enjoy it...I'm just partial to the bread of the Cuban. Tried out Chas' Pan con Bistec next. This was steak with sautéed onion, crispy fried potatoes, and a smooth salsa like sauce on the same bread the Cuban comes on. I was nervous the steak would have a lot of bite and be hard to chew but that couldn't be further from the truth. Absolutely a sandwich you should try, especially if you aren't big on the things that come on a Cuban. The Cuban is exactly what I had hoped it would be and was craving. The pork was delicious and juicy, the ham had a great flavor and texture, the bread was the exact flavor I wanted, and the pickles/mustard/swiss all rounded out and complimented the other flavors of the sandwich. A properly built Cuban is honestly one of my favorite styles of sandwich by far. The Cafe con Leche was delicious! I am not big on sweet things/drinks but this is one I make an exception for every single time. The coffee was strong and the sweetness was even stronger. Excellent Beverage. Black Bean Deli 100% - Didn't Suck!

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place. I specifically am obsessed with how they get the chicken to be so tender and delicious. It literally shreds at the touch and is the perfect meat for a rice bowl. I love love loved the yuca fries also. I always switch the plantains in the bowl for yuca fries and it's such a good move. I loved the collective taste of the bowl but also the presentation. The restaurant is minimalistic and clean. I love the exterior and interior . The location was pretty good and parking was easy! I will definitely be back. I asked one of the workers for ketchup and she stopped everything she was doing on a busy day to help me! I appreciate you!

Yelp
Black bean deli is always clean, friendly and tasty experience. I ordered quickly and the counter and got an empanada and croquette which were the highlight of my meal. The croquette was only $1! The avocado toast looked amazing but needed more salt to bring out the tomato flavor. Good value and good food. Community staple.

Yelp
The Cuban is HUGE and DELICIOUS! Food was fresh and warm when it arrived. The plantains don't miss. Always add them. Look at me. Always.
google avatar

Yelp
Black bean deli is a Cuban spot I love. It's a clean modern take on Cuban and the restaurant ambiance reflects that. This is a quick service style restaurant. I tried a new sandwich the pan con bistec and it was great! I always get maduros as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Been wanting to try this Cuban place for awhile. I finally found myself in the area and stopped in for lunch. The parking at this specific location is smaller and kind of tight but we got in. Inside was nice but full so I had to sit on the patio. I thought the patio was nice. I ordered the special, half Cuban with rice and beans. Probably one of the best cubans I have had. Definitely the best locally. Service was fast and friendly. I would recommend stopping in if you were in the area.

Yelp
I got my wisdom teeth removed a few weeks ago. And this meal was all I could think about and it did not disappoint. If you were you ask me "what food can I eat every day and never get tired of". This. This right here. A Cuban sandwich and a side of crispy hot fried yuca with their garlic aioli. Is it bad that as I was enjoying this I kept thinking "I can't wait til I come back".
google avatar

Debi W.

Yelp
We have wanted to come for years and finally made it happen. I have a soy allergy and discovered the fry everything in soybean oil. Their salad dressings are also soy based. So I was limited to their sandwiches, but what a great limitation. Their Cuban sandwich is the best I've ever had! We got the lunch special (available til 3:00), a Cuban with a side of black beans and rice for $10. It was almost enough to split. And the flavors are authentic. We even got an order to go for some friends. We will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by on a Friday night and wasn't very busy. There's a few parking spots right beside the restaurant so I was lucky to find a spot. I got the cuban frita burger (only available Friday-Sunday) and a tres leches for dessert. The burger was tasty and very flavorful though not super filling. Probably should have ordered the fried egg on top. The tres leches was quite small but absolutely delicious though. Quite a bit of seating inside and staff are attentive and helpful! Overall a nice place to grab a quick bite.
google avatar

Luis F.

Yelp
I loved the way the building looked, I get weak for mid century architecture. The service was pretty good. For a Miami guy I would say the Media Noche was just as good as you can find in Miami. I took my mom and she was a bit more picky about how they served the black beans and rice etc , she complained about the white rice etc. i can't speak for the other dishes , the sandwiches were pretty authentic. Not bad Orlando !!
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
This place is super cute. It's clean, it's got a great vibe, and plenty of seating. The Cuban sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The cortadito double was good. The rice and beans were good as well but not my favorite.
google avatar

Darcy D.

Yelp
We've had a lot of weirdly cold, rainy days lately, and Black Bean is the perfect place to go get cozy. The chicken soup is EVERYTHING. I came here at noon on a Sunday. When I say everything was absolutely perfect, I mean perfect! The staff were all nice. The service was fast. It wasn't too busy. (Though the line got super long at around 12:30, so come early!) We sat at the window seats watching the cold rain while warming out bones with hot soup, filling our bellies with maduros, feeling cozy the velvety cafe con leche, and washing it all down with a refreshing guava mimosa! This is the second time I've been here, and both times it's been perfection. 10/10

Yelp
Well, I finally stopped by this restaurant today. I was in the area and finally pulled the trigger. It's a clean restaurant with modern decor and full of hip young people working on their shiny new Macbook laptops, LOL. So, my plan was to get a Cuban sandwich, black beans and yuca fries. I arrived at 10:35am and was told that all of the three things I wanted were not available until 11:00am. Yes, 25 minutes made that big of a difference. I asked the guy on the counter about the 6"Cuban and black beans combo and he said: " We don't have that anymore". So...if it is not available, why is it in the "everyday menu" online??? He noticed the disappointment in my face, so they agreed to make me a Cuban sandwich. I also had a ham croqueta and an orange juice. The Cuban sandwich was okay. I think it needed more ham...but it was not bad. The best part was the bread. The croqueta was okay as well. Will I ever go back? Probably, but I guess it will have to be "after 11:00am" so I could try other menu items. By the way - this is not an authentic Cuban Restaurant. It is an Americanized version of one.

Yelp
I'm most definitely addicted to black bean's iced cafe con leche with oat milk half sweet! So consistent, always friendly and gotta grab a tostada for me and the baby too! So good!
google avatar

Tyler G.

Yelp
SOOOO GOOD! I had a delicious Cuban sandwich lunch special. My partner had the pan con bistec and both were fantastic. Can't wait to go back and switch up my order with what she got lol. It was decently busy but still got severed quickly and accurately.
google avatar

Yelp
"This is a cool little spot! The tuna sandwich is delicious--the toasted bread is especially good and really makes it stand out."
google avatar

Yelp
Went closer to them closing and had a warm welcome. Got their Cuban which was wonderful. Cute vibes inside. Glad I got to check it out!
google avatar

Cheryl W.

Yelp
I came in for lunch and tried the baked chicken. There was a bit of a line, but the wait was reasonable, both to order and for the food to be prepared. The chicken was delicious- quite juicy and a good sized portion. Rice and beans had good flavor and paired well with the chicken. The salad was simple but good, and just a large enough portion to make me feel good about having something green. The dressing was fantastic and I would use it as a topping on other foods beyond just salad! The plantains were done just right as well. Parking had potential to be tricky as the lot is a tight space, but I was lucky to find an open spot. The restaurant has a cute patio for when it isn't unbearably hot, and the interior is fun and inviting as well.

Lorena T.

Yelp
Food is delicious. Everything is great but the black beans are amazing Everything is clean and a nice area to sit outside
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
Cuban food with a twist, in my opinion the frita was burnt burger, had no flavor whatsoever and the cuban frita its know for its chorizo flavor and its not charcoal burnt. On the other hand everything else was on point, and the staff was pretty nice
google avatar

Cortney J.

Yelp
A gem in winter park! Everything I've had here over the years has been delicious and I love coming here for lunch. The lunch special Cuban Sandwich with beans and rice is a great value (current price is $10)! I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a half of a Cuban (it appears so but it's so large already I can only eat about half of it as is). Pro tip: Add the hot sauce to the beans and rice. so yummy! I also love their cafe con leche. I always look forward to lunch here. And will keep coming back! The service is ok, they're nice and helpful enough although at take out the young man pointed to the self service hot sauce (a bottle) that's available for their dine-in customers when I asked about the packets available for their take-out orders. I had to point to the packets of hot sauce as I couldn't open all my containers to add condiments too - nothing deal breaking I actually found it a little comical.

Yelp
I had never been to BBD and decided to give them a try. I went twice this past weekend to this location and the experience was like night and day from one visit to the next. On Friday, I stopped by and was not only greeted but taken care by a nice, friendly and attentive cashier. I got a chicken empanada and a side salad for a snack and got served super fast and was able to eat inside a but oast lunchtime. On Sunday, we were greeted after we got the menus, which listed what was going to be available for the following day. The person that took our order was friendly and attentive and made good suggestions. What was odd was that he told us that he was told that we had to get our food to go to not rush us out of the restaurant. I guess they were going to close soon? That would had been good to know before allowing us to place our order. We did not want to be rushed but there were people still dining and the ladies that ordered after us sat and enjoyed what they ordered. That sure did not leave a good experience that I clearly got before. We got our food and asked the manager? Why we were not allowed to sit as there were other customers dining before and after us? We didn't get a clear answer and seemed sort of lenient to allows us to sit. We ate and left before any of the other customers, so not sure what went on between the kitchen staff and front end staff, but they sure made my party's experience not a good one. Such a shame since I did enjoy my first visit. As for the food, we ordered shredded beef empanadas, ham croquetas, Cuban sandwich, Cuban frita burger (too many spices in one a greasy), salad bowl with picadillo and a salad bowl with chopped chicken. The salad bowls were good but wished they had more veggie variety and a bit more protein. The empanadas and croquetas were good and made to order. Not sure if we will visit again soon or if maybe we would get a better experience at Mills.

Yelp
The food has never disappointed, i regularly get the Pavo with the extra avocado vinaigrette dressing, i dip this sandwich and it is a chefs kiss each time. Clean and modern, i often work from their editing on their less busy days. A solid stop for cuban food. I have also attended a private event where the chef roasted a whole pig. I also dip the empanadas in the dressing and the cornbread is so moist and sweet!
google avatar

Jordan C.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for a Cuban Sandwich, tostones and black beans. The coffee is also good. The service is also always on point and everyone so friendly. This is a such a great space, yet I still do miss picking up from their tiny little kitchen space of many years ago. Highly recommend you visit or go back soon.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
Clean and modern vibes. I always get the Cuban sandwich and it's delicious every time! The service is quick and friendly. Parking can be very hard. The parking lot has less than 10 spots, if you don't get lucky with someone leaving when you pull in you might have to do some laps. Overall black bean deli is my favorite place to come for a Cuban sandwich
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for a Cuban deli/cafe in the Winter Park area, check out Black Bean! It's a quick service type restaurant where you order upon entering and your food is later brought to the table. I ordered the Spanish baked chicken and it was average. My partner ordered the pork bowl and loved it.
google avatar

Carla S.

Yelp
Let's start with... the garlic mojo and cilantro aioli are the BEST around. It was my first time visiting the Winter Park location, but I have been visiting the Colonial Drive location for several years. Everything that I have ordered before has been delicious, from the quesitos and croquetas to the sandwiches and tres leches. The food reminds me of a home-cooked meal. I usually order the Spanish Baked Chicken plate with rice, black beans, sweet plantains, and salad. The flavor of the chicken is so tasty and it is not dry. I like it comes with many sides that complement each other. On this visit, I ordered the Pan con Lechon. It was amazing! The slow-roasted shredded pork with the garlic mojo was so rich in flavor. My husband ordered a classic Cuban sandwich; you can never go wrong with this order. It is one of the best around. If you are also looking for a place for brunch that offers mimosas, this is your spot. I also tried the iced latte, and it was fantastic. The staff is attentive and friendly making the guest experience more enjoyable. the space has a large indoor seating area and a outdoors covered patio. Another bonus with this location is parking. Sometimes finding parking at the Colonial Drive store is a pain.
google avatar

Tiffany A.

Yelp
Good, service and ambiance was nice. I hadn't been to Black Bean Deli in over 10 yrs. It looks very pretty now and a lot bigger. They have daily lunch specials, and serve a good amount of food. I would definitely be back. I've heard their coffee and pastries are good but I'm not a coffee drinker so check that out if you decide to come.
google avatar

Marisa C.

Yelp
4 stars for some solid Cuban food, we love that they added this Winter Park location closer to us. For whatever reason I think the potion size at the Colonial location is bigger but the food is still on point. Sharing the Picadillo, $13 fried yucca, $6 and the Havana pork $14 (forgot to snap a pic of that one). Both platters come with white or yellow rice, black beans and sweet plantains. I love the green salad dressing that comes with the small salad. The fried yucca also comes with a nice cilantro dip. When can you not say yes to cuban bread, obviously it's a must if you're not ordering a sandwich! There's plenty of indoor seating and they bring out your food items as they're ready. Great spot for a quick bite when you're craving Cuban!

Yelp
Cuban food is woefully missing from the Winter Park dining scene, enter Black Bean deli to the rescue. Now, it's morally hard for me to accept a restaurant as Cuban when they don't serve pan de mantequilla (toast with butter) right off the bat but Black Bean makes up for it with an awesome space, quick service and solid food. My go to is usually the Havana pork platter ($14) which is plenty to share between 2 people. And then, a side of either yuca fries ($6) or a papa rellena ($2.5) / croqueta combo ($0.75). Then of course, the pan de mantequilla is not free, but you can get a half loaf for $3 and all is right with the world.

Yelp
This place is a regular in our rotation. My husband loves the Cuban sandwich and we always share the fried yuca! It is the best yuca around for real. Also the aoli that comes with it is incredible. We often buy the bottle of avocado vinaigrette to use at home. I can't say enough good things about it. The quesitos are another favorite

Yelp
This place is a staple in Orlando! From their little hole in the wall to now, they have always had incredible food! Except now the setting is crisp and bright! The staff are friendly, and service is pretty quick! Everything is good, but you can't beat the Cuban sandwich special, it's one of the best deals in town

Yelp
I have only tried a select few items and return to their cuban sandwich. Yes, I am aware there are probably a dozen places in the Orlando area that make arguably better cubans. I would say the consensus in our household is that among the chains, Black Bean makes a consistently tasty cuban while Zaza's guava pastries are superior.

Yelp
I've been visiting Black Bean Deli for years! I usually bring people here for lunch when they are visiting Orlando. This was my first trip to the Winter Park location. I like how it is a larger space inside than the location on 50. The vibes are of course amazing inside as well. My meal during this trip didn't *quite* live up to my usual expectations, so it may have been an off day. I ordered the Cuban lunch plate and a cafe con leche. I might be wrong, but I thought the lunch plates also came with a salad and side of maduros in addition to the rice and beans. I ordered a side of maduros just because no trip to Black Bean is complete without them. The Cuban and cafe con leche were both perfect as always. The rice and beans didn't have much flavor for me and needed more seasoning. Otherwise, it was another wonderful trip and I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
If you are in the Orlando area and looking for some good Cuban food visit the Black Been Deli. These guys have a delicious Cuban sandwich we had it with the black beans and rice combo. The ropa vieja empanadas are delicious as well. We also had some Cuban flan, and guava pastry. The black beans are excellent and trust me I'm Cuban. Overall a grate place to get a nice taste of Cuba in Orlando.

Yelp
My review might be a lil biased being Cuban myself but I must confess I always enjoy all their dish's here. You can expect everything to be fresh to order and flavorful. I also used to come a lot for lunch with my fav coworkers and get the rice with chicken and black beans or ropa vieja and always appreciated how the dishes were reasonably priced on top of being very filling. Most recently I made a stop just for the cafe con leche though and yuca fries because why not fulfill two cravings in one? :-)

Yelp
Went here with my wife and daughter. We had steak sandwiches and coffee.off the bat when I saw the bus tell I knew I was in coffee heaven. None of that watered down crap everybody else serves you and then when you say something about it lacking they get mad... well.... Serve good coffee then. This place is good to go with 2 locations here in Orlando.

Yelp
This place is so good, I'm writing twice about it! We discovered this place on Colonial and found out there's one closer to home here in Winter Park. The place is easy to find but parking can be pretty difficult. We've always been lucky with parking here, even if it means street parking. The establishment is a lot smaller than Colonial, but I think I like it better this way. The employees here genuinely enjoy their craft and I love that. Even though there's always a line (a good sign), it does keep moving so you're not waiting forever. Employees are really helpful when it comes to customizing your meal or drink, and will make sure you get the best quality of food. My go-to is the Havana Pork plate and my boyfriend's the Pork sandwich. Always paired with our favorite iced Cafe Con Leches. Sometimes we just pop in to get our daily dose of their coffee. Don't forget to ask for a stamp card! They always have a rewards program when you type in your number after paying... it racks up without you knowing and you can get dollars off your meal! This place definitely satisfies your Spanish cravings. It's a little bit pricey, but you get really good quality food and drinks. It's a self seating restaurant and they bring the food out to your table. Also, you have to buss your own table (if they don't offer to get it from you). Just some of your basic quick service courtesy habits. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Delicious! Great customer service too. This was my first time visiting and I will be back.
