The 13 Best Burgers In London - London - The Infatuation

"Burger & Beyond in Camden makes deceptive little buns. They’re palm-sized and filled with charred, but juicy, smashpatties. You’ll look at one and think, I can put away two. Au contraire our bun-loving friend, these little fellas are rich, smeared with smoky or burnt butter mayo, and dripping in American cheese. Of course you could just get a single patty, but where’s the fun in that?" - Jake Oliver, Rianne Shlebak, Sinead Cranna

Where To Eat Out With People Who Hate Eating Out - London - The Infatuation

"For people who don’t like:cutlery, vegetarian options Is there a less offensive phrase in the world than “shall we just get a burger“? We think probably not, and when the burgers are from B&B, then you’ll be thankful of your unambitious friend for the suggestion. These are not to be messed about with, and nor are the tater tot sides. It will satisfy ambitious and unambitious eaters equally, and they’re in a few places - Camden, Shoreditch and Canary Wharf - which means they’re a useful option if you’re in and around these bits." - Jake Oliver

A burger is judged by small details. For black bear burger it's the quality of the meat and the way it's grilled that make it a stand-up burger. The bun is none of these sweet brioche but a proper bun with tasty seeds on top. The rest is on par, nothing overpowering from the onions to the mayo & cheese to let the meat standout! Great success.

Our first lockdown burger and what an absolute treat for the taste buds. Cooked to perfection with a little pink in the middle, the meat is allowed to shine thanks to the perfect balance of all components making up the burger. The garlic parmesan fries are fantastic too, be sure to add them to your order. The only downside is when you finish it too quickly... Perhaps left thinking that you could easily down another. But that's my problem.

Had one during the lockdown and the taste...oh the taste...it's tremendous! Black Bear Burger is officially my fav in London. Fries were slightly too salted for me but the burger itself was a home run.

Google
got to say the best burger in Canary Wharf. Missed Pocho and Bleeker, but in Black Bear, we have a superior replacement. Blue Cheese burger is a delight. Succulent meat pattie, savoury cheese semi-sauce and good bun. Chips on the darkish side but flavoursome. Nice one!

A generic burger counter within Giant Robot Bar on the top floor of the new Crossrail station. The burgers are a bit small given the price but accepting that everything is overpriced in Canary Wharf you will get what you expect.

Black Bear Burger was really delicious, fries were soggy. Set aside 30-40mins if you’re going at lunch time, the 10mins they quote is a little off

Great Street food, burger was very good and chips were excellent. A great place able to get drinks from the bar, or a soft drink from the stand.

Good burger and fries, however we ordered on Deliveroo and half the drinks didn't turn up... they wouldn't send out more and didn't knock anything off the bill.. bit of a shame.
