Of all the places we've eaten while being in Vegas, this one is paws down the absolute best food ever. Portions we're definitely worth the price! And our waitress Ashley was amazing. You never leave still hungry. And the biscuits were amazing. Coming from Texas where they say everything's bigger, is a lie. Lol

Oh my! I thought we had the secret to great breakfast in Tennessee, but this place proved me wrong. Great prices. Delicious food. Large portions and wonderful, fast service. Food is served fresh and hot. The biscuits were enormous!

WOW!! This place is awesome when it comes to flavor and portions! 😃😃. The staff were so nice and always came by to see if we needed anything else. Family members and I were so happy we came here for breakfast. Definitely will be coming here for our meals next time we visit Las Vegas. I really recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great meal. 😍😍

Stopped by for breakfast. Black Bear Diner is pretty spacious, and I loved that Diner feeling. Our server was nice and made sure our coffee was topped off. Food; I had the 2 slices of bacon, 1 egg and hash brown, while Tupac had Patty Sausage with Grits and Toast. The Grits was meh, but the Sausage was absolutely delicious. I'd return for the sausage. Overall, it's a great spot for diner food, and it does get busy.

We arrived before 5pm. It looks like we beat the rush. There was no wait and many open tables. Servers were friendly and helpful. The taco salad, cob salad, eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak and onion rings are delicious.

This is a cool place for breakfast Great food. Large portions and insane theming throughout the restaurant. Overall a great place to visit. Would definitely recommend it.

Came here with the family looking for some good breakfast food. The Black Bear Diner delivers on exactly that, good tasting food, but not anything extraordinary. We got the build-your-own breakfast; french toast, pancakes, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Hash browns were not my favorite, unless you like a bit dry and potatoey. All and all a solid Diner experience.

7/6/24 Came in to have breakfast early. Hardly anyone there. Came here cus it's been a long time since we ate at a black bear dinner and for sure it will be the last time. We got seated.... that's practically about it. We waited around probably about 15 to 20mins. Waitress didn't offer us any water, juice or coffee when we sat down. No interaction. Two other parties got seated after and offered drinks. Waitress walked back n fourth between us and those other people who came after us. Again no interaction like we were forgotten. Again... it wasn't busy. 730is in the morning. We walked out and went to IHOP instead. We were seated and got coffee and juice 5mins after. 15 mins later we had our food. The same amount of time we were here, IHOP was already feeding us. My wife called in and she asked the manager if our waitress was racist cus she was only tending the "other folks" lol I was like babe don't say that. But hey...

Haven't eaten here in a long time. I forgot how big the portions are here ( pic doesn't do it justice) Everything was delicious!

Came in at 6:10a Figured the service would be fast, considering the restaurant just open. Unfortunately it took us a 45 mins to order and get our food. The food it self was very simple. Pancakes, eggs bacon, biscuits, gravy.

I had the Bigfoot. It was very good plus the pancakes are great. The server was very good my ice tea never ran dry. The music was up beat. I will definitely eat here again. This is the rose I left my server

Good varied breakfast menu and very attentive and friendly service. My family had the cinnamon roll French toast, veggie scramble with side of grits and biscuit and a kids cub pancake. Portions were not huge but still filling (the right amount for 2 adults and 2 kids to share with no leftovers). The biscuit took up a quarter of my plate and was perfect! A good value too to balance out more expensive meals you'll inevitably have during a visit to Vegas.

FOOD Chicken Sausage Scramble (590 cals.)***** A very nice portion size. Eggs made with egg whites. Includes tomatoes, green peppers, spinach and of course sliced chicken sausage. Also comes with toast and fruit. Creamy Gritz***** normally I always have to season my grits but these were cooked with love. Perfectly seasoned. 2-Eggs over easy with chicken sausage and biscuits & gravy***** hubby ordered but I did taste the biscuits and gravy and I will say as a person who would not order sometimes like this, it was so good that I would eat it again. I was pleasantly surprised. Came with eggs. He ordered over easy and 2 chicken sausage links. SERVICE **** every one is nice and we were greeted at the front door. Took a minute to be seated and service is really slow. AMBIANCE *** it's a diner vibe so I am basing the ambiance off this factor only. The keep it clean. Think if you are in the mountains and stop at a diner near your cabin to eat.

The Place was spacious and clean. There are bears everywhere. It's so cute looks like a cabin in the mountains. The waitresses were nice and attentive. The food was good love that you can get breakfast at any time of the day. Also good proportion of food for the price. They do not service alcohol by the way.

So before flying to Vegas we saw an ad/commercial for this place. Looked great so i searched to find the nearest to us. There isn't one but since we were coming to Vegas we would try them there. Vanessa greeted us at the door (very friendly) advised of a ten minute wait (unless we wanted the bar which we took) Server promptly got us menus and greeted us. The menus look like a folded newspaper so it confused me for a moment until i opened it up (very cute) Food arrived quickly after order which was awesome however my corned beef hash, grits and eggs were all cold. The cheese couldn't even fully melt in my grits. So unfortunate, however they did fully rebound and get a hot plate of food out to me in a decent span of time. To me the portion sizes are plentiful!! Pack your appetite. Flavors were good on both entrees and even the coffee (i drink it black) was good. I wish there was a location near my Michigan home. Vanessa also hopped over and cashed us out. On a super busy black Friday, she took a moment to just chat with us and ask where we were from and a little about Detroit. The added service touches greatly made up for the small temperature issue. Nicely done Black Bear!!!

Visiting Vegas, we stopped here to eat. It was our first time. Upon entering, the hostess was very friendly & we were seated immediately. Our waitress was goofy. She loved making jokes at every single question or comment we made. It was funny at first. Then, it became annoying. Girl, you'll get a tip. Just chill out. Anyway, we ordered our meal & got it quickly. I got the fish and shrimp combo. I loved the shrimp, but the fish was tasteless. Salt didn't do anything for the taste. So, I won't get that again. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal. He rarely ever has a complaint because he's greedy and just loves food. Lol. We will go back to try something else when we go back to Vegas. There's plenty of parking & it's right across the street from the Outlet in case you need a little retail therapy after your meal.

Upon walking in, you already get the vibe that you're somewhere in a cabin in the mountains. Our server Monique, was super helpful in selecting our lunches. I had the Tri-Tip Dip with an order of a side salad. The sourdough bread was toasted just right; the sandwich was delicious in that dipping au ju sauce. They offer military discount!

No wait on a Tuesday for lunch. Pancakes and waffles are not recommended. Very dense and heavy and dry. Needed lots of syrup to eat it. Not sure if it's just supposed to be like that? The waffle was like the pancake and when I asked they said they use the same batter and they are just like that. Omlet and hash were fine.

So Busy and not great We had driven by here several times and there was always a full parking lot. Thought that was a good sign. Once we sat down we realized it was a chain restaurant. Average choices and average food. Decent price for what you got. Service was not the best. We had to wait for our bill. We should have read some reviews first. Overrated Thanks

Firstly I'm typing this while I'm still inside, thought I'd get the chance to do it while I can. Firstly, the interior is literally decorated with bear pictures and bear decor and I'm all for it! It's actually nice looking to see a diner completely dedicated to the aesthetic of the Black Bear. The people here offer amazing service alongside the low wait times to simply put it. And finally the food, I got myself The GRIZZ and some Onion Rings and let me tell you, I am full. Asked for my eggs over easy and they didn't screw that up, bacon's nice and cooked with the sausage links. Don't get me started on the hash browns, crispy bits with tender texture is such a good mix. They gave me a thicker knife for my ham but although unnecessary, it was a good touch. Definitely eating here again, but next time my eyes will be set for those burgers!

Decided to have lunch here with my son which I don't get to see often in Vegas. It was nice and empty and with us it became three tables. Even at that there were three waitresses running around and we still had to wait to refill water, soda or get any kind of " IS EVERYTHING OKAY"? Never ever will I ever come back here again.

Their places absolutely amazing. They have the best pancakes I can'. T even explain how good their pancakes are.

It was my family's 1st time coming here. There was a lot of people waiting when we got there but our wait wasn't too long. We were told about 15-20 minutes wait but ended up being about 10-15 minutes. The waiting area is small, so you would want to wait in the car until you get the text. The establishment was clean. The prices was on point for the amount of food they give. The food came out pretty quick and it was good. Our Waitress, I think her name was Vanessa was very friendly and gave good Customer service. We'll definitely be back.

Can here twice, on our way to and from airport. Highly recommended . Hugh portions, everything fresh, and the biscuits are to die for. Friendly staff. A must stop when in Vegas

Food, omelets were super dryer, I order two different but one was dry the eggs.costumer service horrible, Bob the server was super rude that I have to walk out on him, the table that was sitting in from of my party say the same thing , they have same experience with this guy, he put his fingers on my water cup, he drop menu on top of my Pancakes. Try to ask for something different but this guy Bob didn't let me talk very rude and very un respectful person he shouldn't. Be working in food , to me costumer serviced is the # 1 shouldn't give no stars..

Ended up coming here since it was close to the airport car rental place. They had a line out the door but we were able to sit at the counter. The food was good and fresh! The biscuits were huge! Lol the sausage had peppers in it and it was flavorful. Definitely went back a second time in the 5 days i was in town and ordered the chicken noodle which was good

THIS FOOD IS AMAZING!!! Reading the menu you don't know what to expect because the food choice seems so simple and the prices you can't beat no where else. However once the food came out, It was jaw dropping!! Everyone in my party left the restaurant full bellies! This restaurant is a must go-to! The customer service was exceptional. Our waiter was very patient with us and very respectful

Looking for a great breakfast place located near the strip? Here it is! It is also located near the outlet mall so get breakfast/lunch then shop!! The service here is good. They are attentive and keep your drinks refreshed. The food here is good. The breakfasts are definitely filling and good sized. They have a variety of breakfast options including both pancakes and waffles! They also offer a variety of salads, burgers, sandwiches and dinners. Their salads are large and filling!! Also fresh! They often have burger basket specials. The inside has several booths and tables. They claim to have an outdoor dining area but I have never seen it open or set up. They do have a counter area as well.

Always good, I usually get the Denver Omelette, staff was great, good place for families lots to choose from.

Solid breakfast, large portions, quick service, friendly efficient service is why we came here twice during our Vegas stay. The restaurant was clean, smiling employees and service was great. Both times we ate here, we were checked on several times. In comparison to Dennys, larger portions, more flavor and I love the biscuits. Definitely recommend, I even looked up to see if there was a location close to where we live.

The food was great the service was awaome I have never been to a Black Bear Dinner will definitely be going there again

Had a great experience at this place when we were in Vegas visiting family! Our server was super sweet and efficient and breakfast was delicious. I've never experienced a Chicken Fried Steak Benedict before and I would highly recommend it! My husband really enjoyed his steak and eggs too. We've visited a Black Bear Diner in Salt Lake City a few months ago and had an equally wonderful experience there. On a personal note, the decor always makes me nostalgic for Maine - that dark green paint/wood combo is classic! Love it.

This place is very busy on the south end of Las Vegas Blvd and somewhat far or far enough from the strip. They still seated us right away and were quick and taking our order and quick at getting out food out. Kudos for that. The food itself though is average but solid for breakfast.

If you like diners, you should like this one. Yep.. all-day breakfast.. yep.. they have a little bit of everything on the menu.. yep.. the portions are generous... not fancy, no dress code, ample parking, child and family friendly. If that is what you need after dealing with the shopping malls, traffic, or adventuring off the strip if you are a visitor.. come here. We enjoyed a very non-pretentious family afternoon breakfast/brunch. The service was friendly and very informative. The food was a little bland, but we had lots of house special sauces and seasonings to pull us through. We all had leftovers! For a group of teens in our party, that was a parent's dream come true!!! For us, it was what we needed after a long day at Red Rock... feed the masses with some wholesome good food, and don't worry about cooking later!

The perfect breakfast spot in Vegas! No place beats Black Bear for breakfast. Bear beats Battlestar Galactica.... Awesome service and love the mountain feel of the restaurant. Definitely coming back before we leave and every time we come to Vegas.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast and we'll it turned into a Big breakfast lol That breakfast club sandwich is a LOT bigger the the picture in the menu which wasn't a bad thing. The cinnamon French toast were delicious and the bacon was cooked with a perfect balance of crispness and chewy with out it being burnt A+ in my eyes!! We had two servers today as Oscar was training Kyle and they were both very friendly and fast.

Actually never been to this one but they are truly the same quality Foods including burgers/patty melts Salads, and More!! Delicious Homemade FRIED Chicken ! AWESOME !

The service is always impeccable Every time we've been here! Our only complaint is they always seem to overcook our steak and/or eggs. Otherwise, I would say they are five star!

I didn't realize that Black Bear had made it to Las Vegas. After driving in, we stopped for lunch, before heading to the Pinball Hall of Fame. We were seated quickly. I very much appreciated the decor. The glass inserts on top of the room dividers were nice. I liked the huge mural that covered the interior wall. Cute little black bears! Server was super pleasant and checked on us. I got a club sandwich. It might have been a little skimpy on the meats, but the bacon was superb. I had asked the waitress about the chili. She paused. That spoke volumes. I got the cole slaw as my side and it was good. Joe got breakfast sliders. It was such a big breakfast that he was unable to finish it. Busboys were super quick at cleaning tables. They were in constant motion. Men's restroom had wet floors. Gross.

The most consistent breakfast place. Awesome food and service, always. Plus they have grits! Try the homemade sausage.

Before leaving Las Vegas we decided to have breakfast and we saw a black bear diner so of course we had to go in. The experience was very lovely from the hostess to the waitress very sweet lots of laughs and smiles, brought us our drinks right away, and our food was delicious, checked up on us frequently to see if we needed anything

Food and service were both horrible! Waitress should be fired definitely different from the Arizona location!

My friend picked the restaurant which was mid-way between her home and mine. Haven't been to a Black Bear in ages but I will be more than glad to meet her here again. She ordered the Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad, which sounded wonderful to me so I too ordered it. The bacon pieces were cooked perfectly: nice and crispy. The hard boiled egg was perfect. There were a few pieces of avocado which were delish. It came with a big bowl of Blue Cheese Dressing on the side so I was able to use the dressing judiciously. There were crumbles of blue cheese and lots of other traditional Cobb Salad goodies. After my friend modified her Salad by holding the onions, switching to a different dressing and holding the blue cheese crumbles, I asked the waitress to put my friend's blue cheese crumbles on my salad. I guess she thought I was kidding because that did not happen. Service was attentive and the salad was very good. BUT I ordered the Mixed Berry Cobbler and a slice of Carrot Cake to take home. I don't know how one screws up Cobbler, but they did. It was a large serving, for two people for sure. (Or three maybe.) It was in a tin pan. I couldn't re-heat it in the microwave because the pan was metal. So I dumped the entire thing upside down into a pasta bowl. It was one huge mound of mixed berries and gelatin. Lots of gelatin. Way too much gelatin. Not at at appealing. I heated it and ate some; nothing to write home about. My husband finished it off for me later, with vanilla ice cream. He didn't care for it either. This morning, Hubby had the Carrot Cake for breakfast. He said it was gummy and tasted like cardboard. So, lunch yes. Desserts, no.

Stopped here twice while on vacation for breakfast. My BFF and I enjoyed our food both times. This chain seems to keep a standard across their locations. Only service issues were people of the same party number were seated before us one day and a waitress didn't check on us at all another day. Generous portions meant leftovers. Try the biscuits.

Great food, my eggs are always cooked right and not runny. Hashbrowns are nice and crispy.

The server, Shantel had embarrassingly bad service. As my mom and I were seated, she did not make any effort to explain any of the questions we had regarding the menu. Just a blank stare with no input / guidance. It felt like we had to fish the info out of her. Usually when you have questions about the menu the server asks questions or recommends stuff and makes sure that you order something you like. With her, not an ounce of interest. She was rude and seemed to get irratated whenever we wanted help. She assumed that we didn't want the ranch because it has bacon in it which is a racial assumption and I am so turned off from coming here again

I was there this morning to have a good breakfast, but this guy named Bob said that I have brought my omelettes which was what I ordered. I let him know that My was like Plastic. He started giving me excuses. I just let him I just told him to make a new omelette less hotter he told me the ex is like that, I didn't appreciate his attitude. I was talking and he was talking over me. I just wanted to my omelette. He told me he has so many experience. I used to do omelette all day and omelette this morning. It was horrible but the server his fingers on my water, drop the menu on top of my pancakes, which I didn't appreciate that that was very respectful in front of me tell me that they didn't like his attitude either. first of all for said to work in a restaurant priority is customer service and he doesn't have a good customer service how you think it's gonna be the food if the food is horrible. The customer service is horrible. Things doesn't work for this place with this guy working there is given a bad impress for this company for this restaurant for this location and he shouldn't be working in the food environment. I would never never come back to this place.

Food was good and fulfilling. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The sweet cream pancakes was delicious. Must be a Vegas special recipe lol. Almost all the brunch spots had them and they all were good.

Love black bear ! Always has huge portions and the food is delicious every time . You can have breakfast for dinner which I love and they also deliver ! It's like being back in NY having that true "diner " experience "

Been a long while since we last visited. Still a very convenient place to grab a bite. It's a diner, the atmosphere is nothing fancy but welcoming. The food is good, again a diner. Good value for your money. More importantly, the service. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

I ate at this black bear diner; I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The food I got was amazing. Yes, but the service I received was a little lackluster. It wasn't bad, but there were a few times where I was ignored by my waitress. Not only that, but one point within my experience, there was a cockroach on the table. And lastly, the meal I ordered took 32 minutes to arrive to my table, other parties, ordering after me receive their food before me. Over all the experience was less than desired. On a good note, the ambience it was absolutely amazing. The decoration was fun, and the establishment overall was clean except for the roach.

If you're looking for a solid breakfast spot, this is the place! Huge portions, great food, very fair pricing! They serve breakfast ALL day, but also serve lunch and dinner. We come here regularly when we are craving a good, big breakfast and it truly never disappoints! Our go to menu item is the breakfast sliders! They are actually pretty big for being sliders, so could easily be split! I'm honestly not a huge fan of sausage, but something about theirs is just so good. We always have great service here, and it's close to the strip! Highly recommend!
