"Celebrating a birthday in Bellevue and want to do drinks? Black Bottle is a good move. It’s slightly upscale, and feels a lot like its Seattle location—so your friends won’t be too bitter about having to cross the bridge. "Always one of the more underrated date spots in the Seattle area, the wine and small plate-focused restaurant has a downtown Bellevue, as well as one in Belltown location. Among some of the more date-friendly plates are kolkata pepper-glazed cauliflower fritters and lamb meatballs with sumac hummus, which go well with Black Bottle’s carefully-curated drinks list, which includes a February special called Hot & Bothered with mulled wine, cranberry, brown sugar, and spices." - Gabe Guarente

Black Bottle Gastropub is a must-visit for food lovers in Bellevue. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff create a welcoming environment. The menu boasts delicious dishes like the cod tacos and chole bahture, each packed with flavor and served in generous portions. Don't miss the cauliflower fritters, a vegetarian's dream with Gluten free option. With its exceptional food and excellent service, Black Bottle is a true culinary gem.

This was the perfect date night spot! Loved the atmosphere. Felt rustic and elegant. The cocktails were delicious and they don’t skimp. Absolutely loved the share plate style. Every single one of the dishes was delicious. We will be back!

My order was prosciutto flatbread. The flatbread was moist and it has creamy texture underneath the cheese. I asked for chili pepper flasks, adding little kick. Kelfte Lamb mezze plate with extra side of flatbread. The hummus was creamy, but not as much flavor. The lamb meatballs were okay, it is on the dry side. It is good with tzatziki. My coworker ordered fish taco, it was recommended over pulled pork tacos. The good portion is medium range, if you are hungry you might need to order two dishes. I have a bite of the short ribs. This dish does take longer than other dishes. It was tender, but it was in salty side for me. Our waiter was good. He was friendly and put up with our group. The restaurant atmosphere was pleasant. Drinks were also good. Our hostess was not very friendly. We felt she was rude. She took our menu and left us with two menus for group of people who have not ordered yet. Her attitude did not help. We don’t know her name but our dinner was on Saturday 6/1. But don’t want to give her bad review based on her.

Tasty food, good beverages, friendly and helpful staff, great location! With 2 hrs of free parking when you dine, this restaurant is a great place to grab a few drinks and a bite before or after strolling Bellevue square with a date! Me and my fiancé really enjoyed our evening here.

Google
This place is absolutely delicious. Every single item we ordered from the menu was so good. The service was excellent and the plates were large enough to share between three people. We ordered a few alcoholic beverages and split a handful of plates. The chicken flatbread was juicy, fluffy, but still light. The short ribs were absolutely delicious with potatoes. We also ordered the curry with bread and two desserts. You MUST get the lemon cheesecake, but only if you are committed to lemons.

Phenomenal food and top notch service. Our server, David, was extremely friendly, courteous and had a great sense of humor. He also didn't laugh at us when we ordered too much. The menu is incredible. Each of the veggie dishes we ordered was impeccably delicious. The meat dishes were also very good, but didn't knock me off my feet as much. All star award goes to the gruyere and emmanthal beet dish. I could eat my weight in it. The baby gems salad was a perfect blend of flavors. The sauce on the cauliflower fritters was the right mix of spicy and sweet. I shameless used the leftover sauce on the fried chicken. The chocolate torte dessert will make you change your religion. Definitely come here and bring friends!

This place has veg options, which was nice to see. We tried a couple of things and trust me most of it was good. Ravioli in brown butter was okayish. Worth trying: Their Pear flatbread, beet wedges were nice, Not recommend: They only disappointing dish was the chana masala. Chana didn't taste good at all, the tomotoes in the gramy wasn't cooked well and I could feel chunks of it while eating. The best dish

We left before we even got to the food options. There were only 2 other parties in the whole establishment and they seated us in a very dark, very uncomfortable booth next to the window.. On top of that, it was a cold evening outside and the AC was on!! We asked about the temperature and they said for some reason the ac is on and that they would be changing that. However, the space was very open and would have taken forever to heat up. Also, we were looking for something that had gluten free options but were told that some of the foods were cooked in the same oil as non gluten free foods and that would make someone in our party sick. So we decided to pass. I’m sure their food is great but we couldn’t get there.

Yelp
Seattle east-siders, tired of always going to Seattle for fun night hangouts? This place will convince your west-side folks to come over. I've been here a couple times: a date and sister night out. Better ambiance for more intimate smaller chit chats and not louder celebrations in my opinion. But they have adequate seating for small and large parties. Do not be fooled if the place is empty. They have 2 happy hours periods. Went at the 9-closing happy hour. Food was great. The best dish was the assorted greens and I don't think you can go wrong with any of the flatbreads. Drinks are not on the sweet side. If you like sweet, club-like drinks- I say use that money on one of their dishes. I'd say go during the darker hours as the ambiance is much better and bonus points if you come during the Christmas/festive season as the decor here is beautiful. Park in the building's parking garage. Black Bottle will validate for 2 hours. (I don't know why people are giving this place bad ratings over paying over $50 parking.) The same parking garage has free 1hr retail parking that doesn't need validation too. This place is also great to go after checking out Bellevue Collections mall- park in the mall parking garage, shop, and visit Black Bottle. Black Bottle is at the block across the street from The Container Store. Very walkable.

Yelp
Black Bottle used to be one of my favorite restaurants that I would frequently visit since I just live a minute away. But as time went on, the quality of the food diminished. The flatbreads are still tasty but literally everything else is just so mediocre -- and not to mention, always, always lukewarm or cool. It's really as if they precook the dishes (I'm sure they know what the popular dishes are) and precook them ahead of time or leave it on the line which might make sense since 90% of the dishes came out cold. My table of 4 all commented on how quickly the food came out once we ordered - it wasn't even a 10 min wait -- we ordered 5 dishes. The broccolis were half the size it used to be and they came out cool. Not cold, at least. But cool. We got the pork tacos and fish tacos and both proteins were not hot either. We ordered the ravioli and that came out semi hot -- the sauce was hot but the inside of the ravioli was cool AND hard. Just odd technique or lazy cooking. And it's becoming more and more dissatisfying. At one point I did wonder if we'd get sick from the food if it was just sitting out there precooked and cooling. It's becoming harder to justify coming here anymore, which is sad bc the food used to be really solid and I love the environment. I shouldn't have to say this but the food needs to be made to order.

Yelp
Plan on paying a $57.25 or more for parking if you want to visit this restaurant. The black bottle bellevue website says it offers 2hr parking validation: https://www.blackbottlebellevue.com/info/ But metropolis.io parking did not honor the validation and charged me a $57.25 violation. There was no gate or warning or signage in the garage or entering the restuarant. THe metropolis.io fine was based on photos of my license plate. I disputed the violation and they refused to cancel it, even after I provided receipts.

Yelp
This was a great outing with our Children (grown of course!) before the Holidays! Our Son recommended it and they didn't disappoint! Their house cab was good and the flatbread was delicious! We all Had a great time! Our waiters provided excellent service! Definitely on our list of restaurants to visit whenever we are on that side of town!

Yelp
I felt warm and cozy once I stepped inside Black Bottle. It's instant comforting. The lighting, decor and music was just perfect. We had a girl's HH there and it was such a great venue. I loved the "danger" drink. It's so yummy and beautiful. The HH food were also fabulous. We had the charred broccoli, ravioli, cauliflower fritters and pear & Gorgonzola flatbread. I loved the flatbread and the fritters. I can eat that all day long. The service was also great. We will be back for sure.

Yelp
I wanted to really like this place because one, its 21+ and I saw they had escargots. I will say it was pretty across our group that we would have to find somewhere else to eat... a 2nd dinner at another location. Parking: Not sure as we parked in Lincoln Square and walked over. Pet friendly: No Family friendly: No, 21+ FOOD: - Burgundy escargots (classic style, butter, garlic, parsley, French bread) $21: 2 Star - I love escargot but if I ever come back I will not be ordering this again. The first piece I had tasted so off, like if you had bad fish... My husband has a piece and he said it tasted completely fine. I had my 2nd piece it was pretty good. My 3rd piece had that weird off taste again. I feel like they got their snail from a can and it was either two different can or they have to find a new supplier. I was honestly worried the rest of the night if I'd get food poisoning... - Prosciutto & Besciamella, Mozzarella & parmesan $16.5: 3 Star: I love carbs especially when it comes with cheese on top. This was okay only because the prosiutto was so salty. I understand prosciutto is cured but there wasn't a good balance of the prosciutto and parmesan with everything else. DRINKS: - Efeste "Final Final" Blend Red Wine 2019, WA $68: 5 Stars - Of all the things our group ordered this bottle of red was the best thing there. Nice body, great taste, and easy to drink MENU/RESTAURANT: Viewing the menu online, this place sounded like it was going to be so good... though not great for vegetarian/vegan entrée options. The restaurant is in downtown Bellevue and only a block or so away from the mall/Lincoln sq buildings that I've actually haven't been here before. It's a nice restaurant and not what I would assume from the exterior. Lighting is very dim so not the greatest when trying to food photos LOL SERVICE: Staff was friendly but we didn't have a lot of interaction as the restaurant was packed.

Carly C.

Yelp
Black bottle was a new spot that four other friends and I wanted to try out together. I will be saying that the food itself was between three - four stars. Unfortunately, the interaction with the staff was more so around one to two stars and for that reason, I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon. I will say that the ambience and environment was however a five star in my book! A few constructive critiques that I have, if the staff and managers want to improve upon: -online the menu for happy hour drinks is listed, and if you scroll further down the website, they have something called late night, snacks, and platters -- this to me gives the illusion that these are also "happy hour specials" -most restaurants still let their customers finish up their dinner. However, we noticed that the closing time for this restaurant was 11 PM, as we were seated, finishing up our meal, they began to dim the lights wait a few moments, then raise the lights, and at 11 o'clock sharp somebody from the staff said thank you for joining us everyone please exit essentially... this was unexpected and did not leave us really feeling warmly welcomed. -while the food was pretty good, I was a little bit sad to hear that some of the drinks on their happy hour menu were no longer available because they had run out. I do think it's worth mentioning that our experience with the staff was a little bit mixed, because I do think that the waiter and server Bryce who ended up taking care of our table, did an exceptional job, and was friendly and pleasant to work with.

Esther S.

Yelp
The vibes in this place are truly unmatched. Soft lighting & vibey music perfect for date night. The ambience was a lovely setup for conversation. That being said, if you are looking for sweet nonalcoholic drinks, this will not be your place. The nonalcoholic drinks we got were bitter & difficult to finish. Would not recommend the zero proof cocktails.

Samantha P.

Yelp
Food was mediocre... not even close to what it used to be. Friday night and they're out of their best dishes? No hanger steak anymore. The blasted broccoli was just okay. And wine, which should be the star of their menu (black bottle) by the glass was cheap tasting and uninteresting... best thing was the bread pudding dessert.

Michael M.

Yelp
I ended the dinner (total time maybe 1/2 hour, 45 minutes) with the words to the server, this is probably the worst quality food I've ever had at a restaurant. It's like they went to Costco, put everything in the refrigerator, put it on the plates and warmed it up in the oven on the counter. Everything we had was really low quality and presented terribly. I asked if they had a chef and the server said, well we have three chefs in the back. I said, no do you have a real, main chef, he said no that guy rarely comes here. I'm guessing he shows up mainly to drop off the Costco/QFC product once a week. Everything we ordered came out within minutes of placing our order. My fish tacos came out looking like they took out the flour tortillas from the QFC package, heated up the fish in the microwave and dropped a spoonful of slaw. There was so much liquid falling out, that the QFC tortillas started getting soppy, they were disgusting. Nothing we had tasted or looked like someone took the care and pride to actually make it from scratch. I seriously do believe this is mainly Costco food with some QFC mixed in. The young lady who seated us was as uninterested in working as it gets. Most of the time she was on her cell phone, even once I saw her in the back area with her feet up while she was sitting back on a counter, on her cell phone. On our way out, she was up front (on her cell phone) and missed us leaving and as we were walking out the door said, thanks for coming in. Our server was a nice guy, but this place is a very low-quality restaurant. The kale on my wife's bacon wrapped fish was very yellow and terrible looking (and terrible tasting). We've never been served yellow kale before. I think it had been in their fridge for weeks I'm guessing. Probably because they bought so much from Costco and it was going bad. The backs of their chairs seemed to be filthy (some, not all) The water container seemed dirty, and on and on. This seems like a place where the owner and/or chef leaves a bunch of young people on their own, with instructions on how to re-heat food. We were so bummed, the website made it look potentially amazing. Just overall a terrible experience, not worth the risk, find somewhere else.

Yelp
Double date night with friends and our first time to Black Bottle. Right off the bat they had me with the 2010's playlist going. While N'SYNC was going in the background we happily shared a sampling of their menu. The stand out by far and away is the fish tacos. I've had my fair share and these are possibly the best I've ever had. The citrus tang was it for me. We also enjoyed the prosciutto flatbread, blasted broccoli, baby gems salad, fried chicken, and bread pudding for dessert. They made the Sunset Sonora into a mocktail and it was de-lish! Server was top notch and so friendly. Also love the straightforward recommendations. Space is cozy and appropriately lit and warm woods. Sets the perfect scene.

Kylee C.

Yelp
my sister and i went during happy hour, the later hours. the whole place was empty, but don't be surprised. usually it's pretty busy, i think it was slow bc it was kinda early on a weekday. the drinks and food were good, the best food we tried were the assorted greens.

Joe H.

Yelp
I have been here 2 times now. Both times, their service was excellent and food and drinks were solid. They offer good happy hour (9 to close on weekdays and 10 to close on weekends) menu items and I really like the ambiance/feel of the venue. They can also make a couple of their cocktails virgin as well. If you do not drink alcohol, ask about what cocktails can be made without the booze. Lastly, their broccoli is simple, amazing, and healthy. It has that fire taste with the perfect savory seasoning. The prices are okay. Not cheap but not too pricey for what this place is.

Nune H.

Yelp
The location is across from the Hyatt hotel in downtown Bellevue. It doesn't have any immediate parking, but the Hyatt hotel does and so does the Bellevue metropolitan area. In general parking here is free with validation. The atmosphere inside is a casual pub vibe. Even the hostess was in jeans, a cheap baggy hoodie and sneakers. I was almost out off at first, but seeing all the waiters in old baggy jeans it grew on me. It was warmly lit and the service was really good. The menu is mostly drinks and is a full bar with a cocktail menu also. The food is just a brief list of smaller plates to share, but includes vegetarian options and gluten free options. The menu is priced above average, but isn't as expensive as other locations in the area. Plating is beautiful and casual and the drinks are presented well. Everything overall tasted good. The pork tacos were great and so was the crab dip. The other items were just ok. Like for the me dough for the pizza didn't feel like a pizza.

Alice A.

Yelp
I would recommend Black Bottle for: 1. the service, truly nice and professional team greeting us as we came in and checking in on us regularly. 2. the cocktails. The bartenders make the BEST espresso martini in town! We tried a few other mixed drinks, also very tasty. Food was okay, nothing unique compared to other menus in the area, a little underwhelming but decent.

Carrie L.

Yelp
my friend and i came for a dinner after work and it was my first time in bellevue and wow it's sooo clean compared to caphill hahah :) i asked the staff on their recommended popular dishes and ended up getting the kefte lamb meatballs mezze plate. my friend got the brie, leek, niçoise olives, & french-country pistou flatbread. the portions were pretty good for the price which was nice :) i didn't love the mezze plate because the salad was so garlicky and the meatballs were a bit gamy but the hummus/tzatziki slapped. overall cute vibes and nice ambiance :) also a pretty good spot for vegetarian options!

Vivien L.

Yelp
I came on a Wednesday night with a friend and it was packed! It's dark & loud inside and we sat at the bar. Service wasn't that attentive but we didn't mind. We ordered two prosciutto & besciamella, mozzarella & parmesan flatbreads and they were delicious! I highly recommend this flatbread and will come back again to order this and to try their drinks.

Anujna S.

Yelp
Vegetarian options are too less and taste is bland. But they have good options for cocktails. Service was super quick. Host was sweet. Ambience is great, they have decors and some of their tables are vintage and gives aesthetic look.

Scarlet G.

Yelp
This was my first time at the black bottle in Bellevue. I loved it! It had a very similar vibe to the one downtown but a bit of a bigger open space. I had the basil ginger cocktail - which is my go to! So delicious. Fresh, sweet and a little fiery - the perfect combo. There were four of us and we shared a tonne of dishes! I'd say the highlight for me were the prawns. They had a little kick to them - they also provided the deep fried portion on a separate plate so there was no gluten. The service was great, super efficient and lovely servers. Love black bottle and will definitely come back.

Erin H.

Yelp
Came in on a Friday at 5pm, and there were maybe 2 other parties there with us. Inside is beautiful, with a spacious and modern vibe. There are a lot of tables, so it could be a good place to take a large group since they do RSVP online too. Service was average. We got our order taken promptly, and the food came out surprisingly quick (10 min later...so I'm kind of skeptical on how much is truly prepared fresh) We ordered: - Major Danger Cocktail 8/10 (came with its own shaker, so you get multiple glassfuls) - Pear and Gorgonzola flatbread 3/10 (was very hard crust to eat and the whole flatbread was really dry and lacked flavor aside from the caramelized onions) - Scallops 5/10 I wouldn't rush back for the food, but I would come back for cocktails/drinks!

Yelp
Black Bottle is the perfect place to to go with a group when everyone wants to try something different. Their tapas style menu, which spans multiple cuisines, is a great way for everyone to have a little bite of everything. Certain items on the menu, however, don't feel cohesive. In addition, while tapas is of course known for being served in smaller portions, many of the dishes feel overpriced in comparison to the quantity served. Service was friendly but in a busy Sunday night there appeared to be only one server for the entire restaurant. Maybe someone was running late or we simply didn't see another waiter but, as attentive as our server tried to be, she seemed to be stretched very thin. We'll come back, but I'd love to see some improvements to either the portion sizes or the prices.

John C.

Yelp
Recently dined again at Black Bottle and was sad to see how this place has declined in the past few years. On a Saturday night, half the tables were empty. The service was good, but the menu is tired and limited, and the food was mediocre. The flatbread was flavorless, with crust that tasted like bake at home pizza. Fish tacos also bland. Cocktails now cost nearly $20.

Julian G.

Yelp
If you like cocktails or food and you're in Bellevue, this is one of 3 places in this city worth your time. The vibe is a bit watered down compared to its Seattle counterpart. But hey, you're in a mall... there doing their best.

Annie R.

Yelp
Came here for dinner recently with a friend and had a great time! Our waitress was very friendly and patient (took us awhile to figure out what to order). The food was good, a little pricy b/c the portions are tiny but that's kind of normal now. About $180 for two of us to dine out, we split 4 things and had 2 glasses of wine. All the food was great but small portions for the same price as other places with much larger portions. Scallops were the smallest I've ever seen in my life LOL but delicious! The Asian fried chicken bites were kinda dry and meh but the sauce that came with them was bomb.

Ran N.

Yelp
Returned to Black Bottle after a couple of years I haven't been there. Parking did not get easier in Bellevue. Quite the opposite. The service was excellent and our server confident with tasty recommendations when asked. I find that I enjoy receiving recommendations. We shared a few dishes that were all tasty. Everything was readily shareable and allowed us to enjoy a variety of flavors. One cocktail was made well. Beer recommendation hit the target. Couldn't ask for more. All in all great venue and atmosphere, tasty food, capable bar and great service. We'll be back!

Julienne P.

Yelp
Note: - This is a "21 and older" only establishment. - They do take reservations but it is for a limited number of parties so that they can also accept walk-ins - They get very busy so make a reservation if you can. If not, going as early as you can is best - They have a gluten-free menu, a dairy-free menu and a nut-free menu - They will validate parking for the garage they are physically in the same building of so be sure to bring in your ticket FOOD - All the dishes we have had have been super delicious (and we have to order from the gluten-free menu). I also know that others I have dined with also loved their meals (no special dietary needs). So food-wise, it is a great place to go for a really delicious meal you can count on DRINKS - I have stopped ordering mixed drinks there because it is rate that they make a drink well. The ratios are typically off and they just do not taste good and are hard to drink. I just hate asking them to remake it although I do and the servers have consistently been annoyed by it and questioning me. ( I have even had the person I was dining with taste it to make sure it was not just me) That being said, service in general would be a 3 out of 5 stars. I have eaten there quite a bit and it is hard to get a server when you need them. They really do not come by enough. And they just are not as customer friendly as I would like. The place is definitely trendy in feel and you will want to make sure you dress up a little so you feel like you fit the feel of the place and the customers. It is really a place to go out with friends or on a date. Its perfect for that It is kind of loud but based on the floors, walls and ceilings, acoustically that is going to happen when they get busy. They do a good job of quickly cleaning up tables so the place feels clean. Also the bathrooms are always in good shape which I feel reflects what is happening behind-the-scenes. So overall, it is worth going to for great food. Just don't order a mixed drink. Get beer or wine. And be okay with mediocre service and then it will be a good experience since your expectations will be set accordingly. (The pork tacos, blasted broccoli and root veggies are amazing). Enjoy!!

Steve T.

Yelp
Unfortunately moving to two stars for horrible service yesterday. We went here for Valentines Day and the server took forever to get our drinks or welcome us. He seemed completely disinterested in helping us and then never checked on us once. Even if we want to spend more money we couldn't have. Two stars is only because the food was good, otherwise I'd give it a one. Shame wants going on in the service industry which horrible trends like this and higher prices. We won't be back.

Nichole G.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the vibe of this restaurant, perfect for a small group of people that like to try several items. We ordered various plates, from escargots to duck breast and cauliflower fritters! All of the food was delicious, especially the short ribs that melted in your mouth. Service was great, but a tad slow. There was only one waitress working the entire restaurant, so it is understandable that there was a wait. She was lovely and doing her best, so we tipped well! Overall, highly recommend going with a small group and trying several of their delicious dishes and yummy cocktails. Some items I would highly recommend were the short ribs, escargots, cauliflower fritters, and the seasonal lemon drops- mine had a refreshing house made strawberry-infused vodka! I would not recommend the halloumi, but everything else was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
I came to this place with 8 of my coworkers to celebrate a successful launch of a project. It was located in the heart of the Bellevue area right under the Avalon apartments (not sure if I got the name right). Parking is available on the opposite side of the restaurant and they provide a two hour validation for customers. We tried almost all the choices and I have to say that the chicken fried was my favorite. Unfortunately, they don't have a whole lot of options for my taste. They don't have any burgers, fries but they do have a couple of tacos but then again, I was informed that this place is a tapas restaurant. The service was pretty good and they kept coming and checking up on us frequently but then again, there weren't that many people. I think the highlight of my night is when I had a sip of their mojito, it was amazing, I loved it. Lastly, the ambiance was pretty good, the music was a bit questionable but the set up and everything was lovely, it was very spacious and the setup is amazing.

Liz S.

Yelp
Overall I'd give Black Bottle 3.5 stars but am bumping it up because the ambiance is nice, plus they have some killer broccoli. I've stopped in a couple times this year, for both food and drinks. Both times I shared the Broccoli Blasted ($12.75) and the Blistered Shishito Peppers & Ladolemono ($9.5). I prefer the broccoli between the two, but the peppers are fun since every once in a while someone will bite into a spicy one. Will it be you? I also got a vegan version of the Baby Gems Salad with Crispy Shaved Artichoke Hearts ($16.5) since I needed to eat and the menu is lacking substantial vegan options. Even the plain flat-bread comes pre-cheesed. Oh well. Drinks and snacks will have to suffice! The validated garage parking lot is a little hidden, so look it up beforehand if you're driving.

Yelp
We had a reservation for dinner last night at 6:15 (on a Saturday). When we got there it wasn't busy at all and I was thinking we could've just walked in and been fine. By 7 the place was packed - definitely make a reservation! We'd never eaten tapas style before, so we were a little unsure on how much food to get - there were two of us. So we started off with three plates, and honestly, it would've been enough if we weren't hungry to begin with. We ended up ordering two more and that for sure filled me up. Favorites were the pork tacos (we almost ordered those again but wanted to give other things a try), and the crab and artichoke gratin (super rich but so so good). The Major Danger drink was really tasty as well. It's a very tiny martini glass, but they leave you the shaker so you can pour more as you want. Don't forget to use their parking garage off 10th if you want them to validate your parking. We almost missed the entrance because it's right by all the construction barricades and it's not *right* off 10th (you have to turn down what looks like a little alley).

Yelp
Love this place and the food, Been eating here for years. Great place for groups with the small plates. Great ambiance and service. However, for the first time ever I was charged for parking. I can handle that until I saw a service fee charged for parking. Seriously, you're charging for parking and then charging your customer a service fee on top of the parking fee? I understand it's not your garage but your customers use it as there is very little street parking available. You're validating the first two hours but allowing the garage to charge a service fee? Party of 5 and everyone texted each other about the service fee. Not a good look ... no longer attractive ... universally no one in our party is coming back. All residents of DT. Bellevue ... it's not the amount of the fee it's the idea we're paying for parking and being charged a service fee for the privilege. Enjoy the extra income

Yelp
I give BB a solid 3 maybe a 3.5, nothing spectacular but nothing seriously wrong either. Compared to some other my 4 stars, they fall just a bit short. Smoked Old Fashioned was tasty, love the use of rye to cut the sweetness, so if you love a traditional sweet one, this isn't for you. Lots of room here, it quickly gets noisy as it fills up. Staff is pleasant and attentive enough, maybe a hair indifferent - I feel like it could be intentional service; "get in, get the order, get out of the way, the guests aren't here to include you in their evening". If you like to interact, this might not be for you. We ordered the salad and a couple of flatbreads. The salad was well proportioned to share, tasty, but waaaaaay too cheesey. Seriously how does a salad get too cheesey? The flatbreads were just okay. They were a little too bready for a flatbread and a bit on the dry side. The fresh mozzarella on one was cooked under salami and it was just.....off Seems like a great place if you have a big crowd, great for a work function, spacious and efficient service that doesn't linger. I don't know if I'd personally come back, but wouldn't disagree if invited. This review is as apathetic as I felt about my overall experience.

Yelp
The staff was helpful with my gluten allergy and I didn't get sick. The food was just ok. The pork carnitas were my favorite and the scallops weren't terrible. good but the broccoli was marginal. Needed sauce.

Yelp
Overall, we enjoyed our time here! A great place to go with a group to try several new plates! Located in the general Bellevue Mall area but a block or so over made for a nice escape on a Saturday evening during the holidays! The food here is intended to be shared and eaten once it comes out. Because of this, our group ordered several different things to share. The food came out very quickly (too quickly actually that we weren't able to get through each plate). Service was great as well! Here is what we ordered: Avocado Fries ($12.50) - these were ok. Perfectly cooked, came out extremely hot and came with tartar sauce. Probably wouldn't order these again as they were nothing memorable. Delicata Squash & Hazelnut Ravioli ($19) - good flavor for these but came with probably more mushrooms than anything. These were pretty good and I'd order again! Kefte lamb meatballs mezze plate ($23) - these were perfectly cooked and had good flavor. Not as many meatballs as I was expecting though. Malbec Demi-glazed PNW beef short ribs ($35) - perfectly cooked. Smaller portion than expected for the price point. Pear & Gorgonzola flatbread ($17) - good with lots of flavor! This was actually larger than expected and a favorite of the group Lemon curd ricotta cake ($13.50) - very good! Not an overpowering cheesecake type flavor and the lemon was mild. Recommend! Overall, the food was good, but not super memorable. Great for groups who enjoy trying new things as everything is intended to be shared. Portions were kind of small for price points and some of the group even left a little hungry despite everything ordered.

Yelp
I have been here several times over the years. I love the food here and drinks are amazing as well. I ALWAYS order the Pear and Gorgonzola Flat bread here. It is my favorite. The cauliflower Dish and squash & hazelnut ravioli is delicious as well. I have mostly visited this place for girls night. The portions are not huge neither are they small. This place has the right cozy vibe that me and my girlfriends enjoy. They take reservations which is another reason will love coming here again and again. Would I recommend this for meeting friends? Yes, Absolutely!

Yelp
Black Bottle has been on my list of places to try while in Bellevue. However, the past few times I was in town for work, I never had the opportunity to stop by. During my latest trip, I got the chance to scratch this place off my list. We arrived at Black Bottle around 7pm on a Wednesday night. The place was considerably busy, but we were able to snag a table without having a reservation. Service was totally fine. Food and drinks came out promptly, and our waiter was great. We had several items to share including sides of broccoli, cauliflower, pear gorgonzola flat bread, and braised beef ribs. The pears didn't have the sweetness I expected, but they added a nice, crunchy texture on the flatbread. Loved the sharpness of the gorgonzola though. The beef ribs were delicious. They were pretty tender, and I enjoyed the flavorful marinade.

Yelp
Always a great time. Restaurant is a little chilly with the huge floor to ceiling windows but service is excellent and the food is always good. They are really great with allergies as well. Have a section of their menu dedicated to gluten free a section dairy free and a second for nut and sesame free as well. $6 for a coke is a little outrageous though.

Yelp
Visited here with a friend and had the chance to try the delicata squash & hazelnut ravioli which was really quite delicious. I also had a chance to try the bacon wrapped scallops which I recommend

Yelp
My life partner and I enjoy Black Bottle for drinks and a light meal. My 4 star rating is my wish to see the menu change up over time. The same offerings can get boring. I do not take away from the good dishes served but would love to see something new and different.

Yelp
One of my best girlfriends and I visit this location probably 2-3 times a year. Which says a lot because we probably get together about 5-6 times a year. This is our favorite spot! The food is AMAZING! The shishito peppers are some of my favorite the way they are prepared here. The spicy shrimp is delicious, the pear and gorgonzola flat bread is divine, and the scallops are fantastic! Honestly, I haven't had a bad dish here ever. Also, even when the restaurant is insanely busy the staff is always helpful and attentive. They make sure we are taken care of throughout our visit. The food arrives fresh and tasty. This is a must visit restaurant!

Yelp
This place was so lovely and moody. The flavors of the herbs married well with the richness of the of the steak and escargot. This is truly food for the soul. The staff were really friendly and attentive.

Yelp
I should have taken the review on this restaurant seriously. The greeter didn't welcome us. He took us to our table, left the menus without saying a word, the waitress' apron was filthy and the food mediocre. In fact I was so sick to my stomach I couldn't sleep.

Yelp
Cocktails were great. Vegetable options were good. The beets were an interesting take on a beet lasagna very unique flavor profiles.

Yelp
What a great spot. Sever and service was spot on. Delicious strawberry lemon drop martini. With 3 of us we got 4 different items and all Of them were a hit. Cauliflowers fritters were fantastic, lamb meatballs super with all the condiments, the sage brown butter ravioli was great and pork carnitas were hearty. Definite go Back and parking was easy in the tower They are in.

Yelp
We arrived for Happy Hour at Black Bottle and it felt like they weren't ready for service. It took so long that we ended up walking up to the bar to order and we're told that the server would come. While very nice, it seems like the servers were more interested in talking to each other than helping guests. The atmosphere is trendy and industrial, that also means cold. We were lucky enough to get a spot by the fireplace so we're very content. We ordered drinks and the nachos. While tasty, we had to ask for more chips to finish it. I hope this is a one off experience so I'll likely try again...

Yelp
The first time I went here I was blown away. I would've given it a five stars. Then I came a second time before this review and honestly was so much better the first time. I would really recommend trying the escargot. It was really amazing here. DO NOT TRY THEIR FLATBREADS!! They are previously made. I asked if I could get something taken off and they told me they are already pre made and maybe they could scrape off what I didn't want. The steak is really good though with the mash potatoes.

Yelp
Braised beef short ribs were exquisitely tender, delicious and best of all they provided a generous portion. Cauliflower fritters were surprisingly good. Cheesecake was delicious. Cocktails were on point. Service was outstanding despite them being short staffed. Nice romantic ambiance for a special birthday dinner. Highly recommended.
