Great food, haven't been in for many many years. Called in as passing on a Friday evening and very busy with must tracked full, but they squeezed us in. Staff all lovely and working very hard. Food was delicious! My 9yr old asked if it was possible to just have a poached egg as a starter and they accommodated her request 🥰🤩 one very happy child 🤣 All of our meals were lovely, no complaints at all, veg cooked well, fries wedges and sauteed potatoes across three meals were all perfectly cooked. Desserts were super tasty. Three people, three courses with drinks, £60! Great price and great quality food, really can't complain at all. Many thanks, we'll definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Black Bull Inn for a pub lunch, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service by the staff. The ambiance of the pub was cozy and inviting, with a rustic charm that made me feel right at home. The food was simply delicious - I ordered the fish and chips and it was cooked to perfection, with a crispy and golden exterior and a tender and flavorful interior. The portion size was generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied. But what really made the experience stand out was the exceptional service. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed and offering recommendations for drinks and dishes. The entire staff seemed to go above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. Overall, I highly recommend the Black Bull Inn for a delicious pub lunch. The food and service were top-notch, and I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Meals are amazing Staff are friendly and the views are beautiful. Situated in a lovely spot with carparking available ar the back too! Definitely recommend !

Best local pub around. Great service, atmosphere and food is good. They have the best waitress ever. She takes your orders, remembering everything. She's completely on the ball. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Longlive The Black Bull .

lovely place, would definitely go again, the staff are polite and lovely the food was great and so was the atmosphere. i really recommend going the view is lovely aswell. all of this for such a good price. family friendly i would go again 100 percent

Really lovely pub right in the heart of Turton with an amazing view. Perfect after a long walk round the reservoirs. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly, the food was really good and the prices are fair. I highly recommend the cajun and roasted red pepper wrap, delicious! Will definitely be returning 💯

What a lovely place. Both had steak and blue cheese was amazing. Staff were lovely too. Sorry I didn’t know I had to press on stars 😂……Sun/19th a little disappointed last couple Sundays turned up at 11.20 and told kitchen wouldn’t do breakfast as it would be too backed up and Sunday previous no table at 12 yet tables reserved empty till 2 pm. When told staff we would be gone soon as we had eaten they said the kitchen couldn’t cope putting another order in. Bit too far for us to have a ride out to again to be turned away sorry .
