Amazing beer!!! Got the Statefirm IPA and I think it’s one of my favorite beers ever. Super friendly guy and nice shaded area. Highly recommend

Scottish Amber poured from Black Dagger. Oh man, this is good. Has a great flavor, well balanced and delicious. Seriously. 1st taste and I already want another one! Person who took my order was polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend this spot. 👌

Great place just disappointed they have no NA beer options for the sober/responsible person in the group. It’s a real shame. People who like the taste of beer don’t want soda or water hence why a N.A. beer is a great option.

Great selection of beers to compliment anything you order at any of the great food carts. Wesley the bartender was efficient, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Just inside the Hawthorne Asylum food cart pod, you cannot miss it. Whoa! Scott, the owner, what a cool dude and his beer stand ain't too shabby. This stand aims to have a selection of all types of brew. On a sunny spring day, he had a pils, witbier, 5 IPAs, stout and cider all ON TAP. Then there are the cans. This would be cool for a corner market, let alone a beer cart! Having spicy thai food, get a pils. Having bbq, get a cider. Having anything and want to wet the whistle, SCOTT HAS GOT U COVERED. Check it out, Hawthorne Asylum is the new place to be. It feels inspired and cohesive. The land developer really knocked it out of the park with this one.

Got the Tart Peach Sour and I wasn't impressed. Not really tasting any peach

Closed a few minutes early and shouted through the the serving door “we’re closed”. I know customer service is on its way out but during a time where business are closing is probably not the time to act like that.

I came here the other day for lunch at this place when we were at Hawthorne Asylum. This is the only food cart that serves beer and wine. They have a significant number of types of wine and beer on tap. You'll find something that will definitely stick out. The Acrobat Pinot Noir was one of my favorite ones to try. You could say this is the most important cart in all of Hawthorne Asylum. Why? Because Black Dagger is the only place that serves wine and beer! They have over a dozen beers on tap and almost as many wines - so you can pretty much guarantee you'll find a delicious bevvy to compliment whatever you order. I love their selection of IPAs and the staff is always happy to recommend something. The prices are super fair - even though they have a complete monopoly over alcohol in the Asylum. Bonus: It's right by the entrance should you want to get a brew while you peruse what you're going to eat.

They are right inside the front door. Convenient, fast and friendly service, great selection of wine, draft beer, and cider.
