Black Dog Gelato (Revival Food Hall)

Thick gelato featuring fun flavors dished out with a side of friendly service. I sampled malted vanilla, cinnamon brown sugar, and goat cheese cashew caramel. All were delightful! This gelato is extremely thick and dense. I initially appreciated the substance of my scoop, but halfway through it became a bit much. The flavor was expertly crafted and extremely delicious, so that more than made up for the texture, but balancing the airiness would make this the perfect scoop. $4.50 for a small, $5.75 for a large, $4.25 for a cone. I found the small to be the perfect size.

Staff was friendly, offered samples of every flavor available. He also suggested combinations that are good. The flavors are amazing, basil, passion fruit, blueberry French toast, goat cheese and almonds, strawberry basil, and more that I can't remember. Got passion fruit with the goat cheese almond, delightful!

I'm honestly not that picky in regard to ice cream, but this is gelato was quite awful (how does one botch Nutella flavor so badly?). And it made me sick, to boot.

Person behind the desk was incredibly rude. Didn't even buy any because of his attitude.
