Black Dragon Games

THIS IS THE REVIEW YOU’RE LOOKING FOR! Wow, such a beautiful nerd utopia. I have been to many similar stores, I like to go to one in every city I can find one in but here we have the gem of the gem state. Well stocked, well lit, clean, friendly service, good parking, organized events. A lot of brick and mortar have gotten away from D&D products but here they have a really good sampling. They carry a lot of unpainted miniatures especially. My favorite part is their table and event room. They have tons of nice big tables with chairs and it’s all so well lit and spacious and comfortable to play in. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I even met one of the owners and had a chat with her. Very friendly and you can tell she has a love and passion for this community. I highly recommend.

Great atmosphere; recently expanded and larger game room and selection; they've been super supportive of community events (donating gift certificates for our local chess tournaments). Staff and knowledgeable and give fantastic customer service. Best selection of board games in town by a mile. Prices are very reasonable; Also sell some used games for a bargain and even have games you can play there in their game room to try before you buy! Lots of game tournaments and events, too. Can't recommend them enough!

This is an amazing gaming store. The owner and staff are extremly knowledgeable about every game. I am a novice at MTG, but their advice helped me build an awesome deck. Everyone that works there is super friendly which makes it a perfect place to hang and play.

The staff are all so friendly, and personable. If you are a newcomer or have been playing games for a while, they’ve got everything for you. BDG has the largest play rooms in the area, and cleanest too. The ease of parking makes it a no brainer first choice. I would give it 10 stars, but 5 is all I can do.

We are so lucky to have a local gaming store like Black Dragon. They know many of their regular customers by name, they make an effort to engage in their specific interests, and they have been patient when I have brought in new players that have questions about products. I have been going to Black Dragon on and off since they opened and I've always been impressed by their desire to make the space better for the community. They are a hugely positive influence in the community, creating a welcome space for newcomers in what is often a very intimidating atmosphere to step into. Could not recommend them more. Last note: while every LGS has moments of mark-up as the cost of business goes, I have OFTEN found products and singles that were market competitive or beat the market price.

I've been to dozens of local game stores and Black Dragon is genuinely one of the best establishments I've ever set foot in. Great ownership, an awesome product selection, and they do an excellent job running events. I am regularly looking for excuses to make the almost 2 hour trip. Black Dragon consistently gives me an experience and product selection that you can't find anywhere else in Idaho

If you're looking for a new hobby hang out spot, Black Dragon has you covered. They have all the card games out there, I would name them but it's an extensive list and I'm more of a board game and Warhammer gal, but hey, they have that too! While you're browsing the games, feel free to see their playing room where they have most games to try and play before you buy. D&D fans, a whole wall dedicated to the adventure. Don't forget to stop in on certain nights as they host events where you're inner nerd can come out.

Fantastic experience! I had no idea what i was looking for! I was sent to buy a birthday present for a 10 year old boy for his birthday. I guess its hard to come by packs these days. I was able to purchase a single card here and got the job done. The staff took me over and showed me exactly what and where to go. On a side note i was looking around and itlooks like they have a very big room to play games in! I will shop there again, and maybe check out what else they have goin on!

I visit Twin Falls to see my parents and I was very pleased to discover this store, it's as big and as well stocked as one could ask for, brimming with boardgames and miniatures, RPG's and accessories it easily rivals most game stores in bigger cities. They have a large commitment of space for gaming tables and a huge selection of demo games.
