Best bread in Los Angeles! It’s freshly made , all breads are vegan as well, organic sourdough and you can tell it’s made with love. They sell it out of a retro vintage looking van in the heart of Los Feliz. I got the organic country white sourdough and the OG organic sourdough that’s made with rye. They both are fantastic loaves of bread , soft in the middle with an amazing outer crust. The white sourdough is perfect for making pizza breads or putting jams on. The OG sourdough is great for caprese sandwiches or whatever you want to throw on it. They also sell doughnuts that are called Berliners , a German doughnut, didn’t try them this time will for sure next time. They also have a vegan honey sesame sourdough that they were sold out of and sourdough with sesame, highly recommend this place.

The OG sourdough is mouth watering. Some of the best bread in town. Not to mention a fantastic mission - the pay what you can model feeds a lot of hungry folks

I wanted to try their berliners or pretzel buns but they were out of both unfortunately, in general their hours are kinda restrictive and make it hard to actually try this place. They did go out of their way to inform me of this and were nice about the whole thing though (it was an online order). The bread was good but, you know, it's just bread, not reinventing the wheel or anything.

I’ve been looking for REAL sourdough bread that is gluten free and I finally found it today! Amazing bread that not only tastes good but is made from great ingredients! We will be back! 🥰

Some of the best bread I’ve ever had. I stopped coming here because they now expect a tip in top of the $17 bread. It makes me feel like an jerk when I don’t tip places. I always thought that tipping was associated with a services not really for products… Are the owners not paying the people working in the van and passing it off to the customers? Idk. I go to tartine now. Which isn’t as good but the interaction is less awkward. EDIT - I went back because I really wanted some really good bread. No longer asked for tip.

You will dream about this bread it is so delicious. My amazing coworker told me about it and I just had to try it trust me you won’t want any other sourdough bread after you have had this bread! My two favorites are the OG sourdough and the sesame sourdough loaf. The bread is so delicious alone. The owner is really nice so is the guy that works for them. So happy they are so close to me.

Love this little truck- they make sourdough breads and Focaccia. They also have Berliners which are a perfect morning snack (I've ordered the apricot & raspberry one before). Everything is always fresh and soft. I picked up Focaccia for a dinner party which everyone absolutely loved! They are friendly and it's a quick service.

I still love getting my bread here! OG Country White is my go-to for sourdough and they had mini Berliners in Lemon Glaze and Apricot Jam that were the perfect size for a little post brunch treat! The people working the truck are very kind and have great recommendations based on what they have in the truck that day, and the display case shows everything nicely. It's so wonderful to have a small local business to continue to support, definitely come give them a try if you love fresh bread!

Decent bread. Coworkers like it. They sell out really quick. I love supporting small businesses but this bread is overpriced in my opinion. The quality is great. Sold out of a cute little van. We got there right when they opened at 9:30 AM and they were already 80% sold out. This bites because people are able order online and pick up there, people beat you too it... (Don't come for me and say why don't you order online then....). Focaccia was too salty, but had a nice texture. Country white loaf $16... pricey.. and had no sour tang to it, it tasted like a regular white loaf. I was honestly really excited to try this bread but was low key disappointed and out $16. I too, bake sourdough. Bread flour cost me $6, water jug $1, my own starter (very inexpensive to make) but I am able to whip 3 hefty plain loaves for $7 worth of ingredients. I like that they have a a pay as much as you can, and I read the story behind this small business which is heartwarming.

The OG sourdough bread is soooo delicious. I got 1 loaf thinking I could make it last... absolutely not!! I ate this up in 2 days. So fresh and flavorful! I ordered it online and picked it up at 10am, super easy handoff. You will be addicted after trying it.

Amazing. Spectacular. I first bought the country loaf at Besties vegan paradise, after trying it I realize this was the best sourdough I've had in my life. I'm glad I got to purchase from their truck. I brought this bread to my cousin's and her 7 and 9 year old were going in on it as well! Street parking a couple feet away. It's worth the drive from the suburbs.

Very high quality bread! If you are looking for an authentic sourdough that you can't find at the grocery store, this is the right place! It takes sandwiches to the next level, and is perfect for charcuterie boards. They also have these sweet treats almost like donuts but with a dense, chewy texture. I've taken them to my friends as a breakfast snack and everyone has loved them. Service is friendly, accepting, and it is a queer trans owned business! The bread is sold out of a cute van on the corner of Hillhurst and Finley. Just make sure to catch them on the two days they are open (Tuesdays and Saturdays)!

Stopped here one time because I'm a sucker for truck businesses. Got a sesame sourdough baguette and wow!!! So delish. Will be coming back. They are only open specific hours so gotta time it right. Super friendly service! A+

I dream of their baked goods. I trek across town every week for a loaf of their sourdough. It's my favorite of all the bakeries in LA. The foccacia, conchas and donuts are amazing, too. Prices are ok. It's worth it.

Life is not complete without this sourdough bread. It is uniquely textured, unlike any artisan bread I've ever tasted. Word of warning for those who love bread: it is highly addictive. Fortunately I can justify eating it regularly because of its health benefits.

This bread shop stop is a Los Feliz staple! The sourdough donut was impeccably delicious! Can't wait to try more. Love having fresh artisan bread just steps away in the neighborhood on the weekends!

The baker's mastery is clear in each beautiful loaf you can get your hands on. The OG rye rivaled my roast garlic and mushroom cream soup! The bread was crusty, chewy, and perfectly sour. Huge loaf, and really elevated the meal. The Berliners were also amazing, similar to a jelly donut but not nearly as oily. Paired well with coffee and were a satisfying indulgence. My only gripe is that their hours and daily inventory make impulsive purchases from them difficult. Smart to order ahead, and let's hope they start expanding a bit.

If you are looking to support a woman-owned and small business this holiday and in the future, I would highly check this place out. It is hard to find quality vegan products, especially bread, and this place is a local hidden gem. If you are in the Los Feliz area look out for the green truck in the corner and make sure to order ahead of time as the lines on the weekend will be a long wait. The bread is really soft, and of good quality, you walk away as you stopped by your grandmother's house who baked you a loaf of bread to go. I also recommend the herb cashew vegan cream cheese spread. Such a good spread with crackers, bread, bagels, or even veggies to dip. They also deliver on the bike if you are in the area! Such a great gift to pick up for family and to order and have it delivered if they are in the area!

Great bread! Seems pricey, but considering the ingredients and the quality totally worth it. The bread has great structure and great moisture content. I will say the hours are a short window so you have to plan to stop by.

I went for the first time last Saturday. I wish they were close to Torrance. I would be going every week. I love supporting small businesses that brings excellent food. Next time I will get a few loaves, slice them, wrap them well and freeze them. I shared a few slices with friends and they loved them as well. It is like flying in first class. TRY THIS NOW!!! Best bread I've ever had. Hands down. You know that feeling you get when you eat too much bread? Being bloated and feeling like crap? You won't get it here at all. Honestly, everything here tastes so *clean*. You can tell they really put thought into their products because they always taste amazing but never leave me feeling bloated like I've consumed too much preservatives and fake food stuffs. Highly recommend the jelly donuts - eat it right away for the best taste. I also love the honey sesame sourdough bread. It tastes amazing with anything or even just butter on it. My boyfriend and I always finish the loaf in literally two days and are always thinking maybe we need to slow down (but we just can't! It's sooooo good!!) Run to the truck if you see it open on Hillhurst and Finley or pre-order on the website! You won't regret it. We haven't bought bread from a store since we've tried Black Forest because we just don't want to anymore. It tastes way better and you'll feel way better. Most of all, everyone is super friendly and it honestly feels like I'm being greeted by friends every time I shop :)

The bakery, already the creators of incredibly delicious bread, reached out to me regarding the pricing error I experienced in my last trip and offered a make-good. I appreciate it, and I'm excited to enjoy more of their wonderful bread!

My co worker brought in some bagels and doughnuts from this spot and OH MY !! So delicious! The bagel was perfect with a touch of salt, just hit the spot. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about the doughnuts but am saving mine for later. Definitely will be coming back, love the whole vibe of this operation and the baked goods far exceed anything around here. You can taste the freshness and love in these things. TRY IT
