My favorite coffee from the Colombus Coffee Festival and still does not disappoint. Love the new location. Small but what do you expect downtown? Still excellent coffee. The owner is super friendly. One suggestion: don’t roast beans while the store is open and patrons are there. VERY noisy. Otherwise great experience and loved it.

Best Coffee In Columbus! I have visited every coffee shop available in Columbus and this has the best latte and at that espresso I have ever had! Roasted in house and served fresh to table! Perfect in every way! Customer service was impeccable and coffee to match! Also serves some great looking alcohol choices to turn your morning stop into an evening oasis! Will be coming back and bring all my friends and family!

First time to this coffee shop and I love it! The atmosphere is amazing, their iced latte with cacao syrup is super good and the baristas are super nice! They even have beer available! Definitely try this place out!

Wow! What a great after dinner spot! I always enjoy an espresso but a great cap to an evening meal was stopping by for a Honeyguide which is OYO Honey Vanilla, Coffee Luqeur and Espresso. An absolutely perfect mix of relaxing, comfortable, social. We will be back for sure.

Love this place. The Poetry Light Roast is one of our new favorites, and order it from AZ! It's very flavorful as a drip or aeropress, but we think it makes an excellent espresso at home! Super versatile, and highly recommend. Also really enjoyed my conversations with the owner.

Hot Latte - super smooth with pleasantly textured foam A very cozy place with the friendliest staff. I had to ask them for a favor and they kindly lent me a chair to sit on right outside for a meeting. A very versatile location with lovely offerings. HIGHLY RECOMMEND :D and thank you!!

I will start with something nice, the staff was SO lovely, and the atmosphere is quiet, calm and chic… so a nice location to visit. However, I was really disappointed in the coffee. The espresso that they use is dark roast… roasted to the point that the beans are shiny with sweat losing out on so much flavour. I asked for a flat white, naturally the charged for a latte - which is fine if it’s not on the menu…. But I had to stop the barista during her pour as the milk to coffee ratio was way off 🙃The milk was steamed too hot accentuating the burnt flavours of the coffee. So for those who like hot lattes with that dark dark roasted flavour notes — this place would probably make you very happy… in unfortunately tossed it out after 2 sips because it’s just not my preference at all for coffee. Like I said though, staff was lovely. My rating is solely based off my coffee experience, not dining in/bar experience which I’m sure could be radically different.

I had a decaf latte with their spicier sauce (sorry I forget the right name). It was amazing. A tad expensive. There is wifi and seating to get work done. It’s mainly barstools, which will kill your back if you go in for a long work session. I’d still go back, knowing I can only stay for 2 hours max. Customer service was really good. They accidentally made my latte non-decaf. But remade it.

Yelp
This is such a cool little coffee shop to run to during the workday downtown. The staff is friendly and the interior is kind of... stunning. I love the Zanzibar syrup!

Yelp
Came on a Saturday morning before running some errands. My friend told me her coworkers like it here so I decided to stop by. I'm not too familiar with parking around here and there were signs saying not to park in front so I parked around the corner on Gay street then walked. It wasn't busy inside but quite a number of customers were sitting out on their patio. I ordered a latte with the Zanzibar spice. I think I paid $10? Pricey but makes sense for downtown. My latte was made within seconds. LOL. The spices were kinda light. Couldn't really taste the spices. I've been to Zanzibar and we have spices at home we got from there so it's def a great idea for a latte! It was nice to support local though! Not sure when I'll be back in this area of town.

Yelp
Local Business with delicious coffee. They have coffee cocktails too but I haven't had any of those yet! A little bit of sticker shock when I paid $8 for an oat milk latte with Zanzibar spice.

Yelp
I went there for a business meeting and experienced coffee the pure way without sugar etc. Not an official coffee connoisseur but I feel like I got the pure caffeine fix as I saved some of my oat milk latte for my boyfriend who tasted it later and said it was really good. I would demote a star for parking but that is not their fault. It will impact their foot traffic though as people don't really work that much downtown and parking is hard to find or high in price. The coffee shop is a shotgun design which is hard to sit and move around so maybe not the place to squat and do work in. I have heard that others have gone for the happy hour and liked it- so we might check that out. I think it would be better when the patio opens. Also the pastries charging $5 and up needs to be reconsidered as they are down the street from Parable who has a pastry chef. It does not compute. Look as to what makes you unique and focus on that instead loves. Hope things go well.

Yelp
We were looking for coffee on our last day in town and stumbled upon Black Kahawa, glad we did, I was surprised because I usually dont enjoy Africa region coffee but this was roasted perfectly and tasted amazing, not to mention the danish made my day.

Yelp
So let's just start with a warm greeting when you walk in topped with a very friendly staff and great food. I got a zanzibar spice cappuccino, hand chicken pie and a cheese Danish. It was fabulous! I found out the owner likes to work with local vendor so he also features a great collection of trail mixes and jeni's Ice cream. For those who prefer a pick me up to their drink he has adult drinks. They also roast their own coffee. A great one stop shop for a peaceful, tasteful, and meaningful yeah morning. Try it

Yelp
Coffee shop/roaster and bar. Cappuccino always excellent - coffee was absolutely delicious. I wish they had coffee mugs for "for here" orders but not a big deal. Service was good and friendly. I will definitely come back to try the cocktail/beer menu sometime!

Yelp
Great coffee and ambience. Ordered Shaken Espresso. It's not bad, a bit bitter for me.

Yelp
Favorite coffee place. Small coffee menu but the only thing you need to order is the Zanzibar latte. So good. Worth the money

My daily coffee fix. The staff is super cheerful and helpful, the coffee is great, and always a good time

Yelp
Very friendly staff and the coffee is amazing. I had an iced latte with a spice they have there. It was very good. Great location as well.

Yelp
It's currently just a small trailer on the corner of high & broad street. They've got plans to open a store in the same location. I thought the latte was pretty good. The employee who took my order told me the coffee beans come from east Africa. It does taste a bit different than other coffee. I'm not sure how to describe the taste. I don't think it tasted bad, but again it did taste rather different from what I'm used to. There's currently just one size which is small. It was on the pricey end for coffee. I paid $6.34 for a small size which is one of the more expensive lattes in the downtown area. If you really enjoy the unique taste, I suppose it would be worth it. For me, I will probably stick to other places but I'm glad I tried it.

Yelp
The coffee is amazing and the service is awesome!!! The best freshly roasted coffee in Columbus!
