The Best Bars in Birmingham, Alabama | Eater Atlanta

"Black Market is a quintessential, laid-back watering hole in both its Five Points South and original location off highway 280. It’s pretty much everything one would want in a neighborhood bar, set against a punk-rock backdrop honoring B movies, vintage comics, and all things eclectic. The bar food is solid, and there’s a surprisingly strong brunch menu with items like chicken and pancake bites and a “cheatin’” vegan omelet that’s loaded with cheese (and might just be their sleeper hit). A third Black Market will open in Nashville later this spring." - Sarra Sedghi

Google
Absolutely loved my visit to Black Market! The ambience was spot on—great vibes, cool decor, and the perfect mix of energy and chill. I ordered the Hooligan Burger and sweet potato fries, and both were next-level good. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and packed with attitude, and the fries were perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sweetness. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
Pretty cool little pub. Got the four horsemen fries....so so good. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere was unique. Tables were decorated with old comics. Food is very good and I definitely recommend it. It attracts a loud crowd so it is a bit noisy.

Google
Everything was perfect: the food, server, the atmosphere. My roommates and I came in and instantly was shocked by the cool decorations lining the walls and the variety of drinks sold at the bar. The food was exactly how it was described on the menu. We're definitely adding this to our list of restaurants.

Google
The food was good. I especially enjoyed the corned beef hash. The beer was extremely overpriced, however. $13 for one beer that wasn't unique at all, just a regular IPA is ridiculous. I've only seen beer this expensive at sports stadiums, which are always marked up. I don't expect this degree of markup at a restaurant.

I had Black Market for the first time and the wings were amazing!!! It has a cool vibe. Unfortunately, the customer service was horrible. I came excited, the young lady at the bar one did not speak, just talked at me asking if I had a call in order. Then explained to me it wasn’t ready. My excited kinda dried up. My food was brought to me and put on the table and not one word was spoken. I signed my receipt and not a thank you in sight. You get one time to make a first impression.

Google
Maybe the best breakfast concoction I've ever had. Ordered the Baby Mama Bowl and granted, it's different every order, it was amazing (a bowl of sausage, eggs, home fries and covered with a pancake.) Have ordered brunch mimosas twice now and they're mixed perfectly. The atmosphere is cool with the decor and the music. Love this place, 10/10, will always come back.

Google
Potato skins were decent. The turkey club all you tasted was garlic, the bread was soggy and no where on the menu did it say the sandwich had onions on it. The biggest let down, other than the taste of the food, was our server was very inattentive. Both of us ran out of drink and not one time did the server ask if we needed a refill, just very bad service in my opinion. Will not be retuning to this location.

Emily Bidwell

Google
Came late for a drink and appetizer and was very impressed. Came again for breakfast on Sunday and was BLOWN away! Probably my new favorite breakfast spot. I especially appreciated them bringing real fresh cream with my coffee. I do with they had maple syrup instead of artificial syrup, but that's my only complaint

Yelp
Being in a nearby hotel and hoping for something better than a Denny's, does not qualify any restaurant for receiving 5 starts when 1 star is better than the rubble. But Black Market deserves my rating of approval. Go to it. A tasty four stars, with my only downgrade from 5 stars being offering basics, with a half dozen tweaks. Take the same burger, crumble fried/dried breaded onions; top with 6 or 7 chunks of Gorgonzola, now your 5 star territory. Sure, you're a bar that happens to have a restaurant. But you could also be a restaurant that also has a bar. Aim for both!!

Yelp
Worst Experience I have had in a long time!!!! "At 3rd Av Avondale Bham" It was seat yourself, which is no big deal. But then it went down from there. There was only one waiter, and five exbo's but the waiter was the only one really doing his job. We at least where able to order food quickly but then waited and waited and waited for our food we came in around 5:30PM and didn't leave til 7:22PM. As we waited a would came up to the bar from the patio with a DOG!!!! Holding it over the counter people sit at, letting it jump out of a bar stool on to the floor and run around, then at one point kicked the dog, then chased the dog under my legs kicked me when getting the dog. Then the girl fall out of her own chair onto the floor. She should have never been served another drink and asked to leave the minute she brought the "DOG TO THE BAR counter!!!!!!" Then when we finally got our food, I order the firey wings the where undercooked and warm temp. It then took me at lest 10 to 15minutes to get the waiters attention all while watching this Women make a seen the whole time. First off the bar tender should have said nope your done to the lady. Secondly there should been more waiters and waitresses on a Sunday! Thirdly the cook should be retrained how cook. And fourthly they are way over priced. The only things they had going for them was the decor and music. And last but not least, they had employees drinking there!!!! If the employees want to drink they should go to the bar next store because it looks bad for that company if they are they in business attire/logs drinking. WONT BE BACK to the location of "4100 3rd Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35222"

Yelp
The food was fresh and delicious! The service from the wait staff and kitchen was fast, friendly, and welcoming! I love the environment of this restaurant!

Yelp
I checked out their new Avondale location and it's still the same good vibes and good food! I sat out on the patio, which was covered and heated, and enjoyed my meal. My server was sweet and attentive, definitely looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
The food here is great. My husband comes here often and told me I'd love their fries and he was right. Battered fries are always delicious and theirs are great. They are light and crispy. If you're craving fries, come here. You won't be disappointed. The Greek Egg Rolls are so dang tasty! They are huge and so incredibly filling. I had to stop myself from eating more to save room for my entree of the Protein Plate with fries and broccoli. The chicken in my entree was moist and nicely seasoned. Service was fast and the decor is really cool with their retro comic book tabletops and art. For a bar, their food is great! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Awesome food and service !!!!! Amazing mixed drinks, ice cold beer!!! Great music fun place to go for all the family

Yelp
It was a good place to sit and a single drink but the top shelf margarita wasn't any different than a plain margarita. The food was good the eat and the servers were nice. Everyone in here seemed to be having fun in their individual groups.

Yelp
My family stopped by here on a Sunday, early afternoon, only to find out they were serving brunch. We have not had brunch in a while, so it was not a disappointment. We shared Brunch Skins, Chicken N Pancakes and French Toast. All of these items were very unique. The Brunch Skins were potato skins filled with cheese, corned beef hash, creamed spinach, bacon and tomatoes. They were very good. The Chicken and Pancakes were good. Three chicken fingers with buckwheat style pancakes with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. The cheese grits on the side were good too. The French Toast tasted like French Toast, nothing special there, Hashbrowns were chosen as the side and it was a flat McDonalds style potato fritter. The service was great. Drinks kept filled and we were not abandoned. We'll be back and perhaps be more adventurous in our choices.

Yelp
Black Market Black Market was extremely convenient for hotel guests like myself who were in town for events, and by convenient I mean it was basically 3-4 minutes away. We rolled in after 10 pm, post-event, and got our IDs checked because apparently, you're never too old to prove you're not a toddler. Hooray!!! The staff member checking IDs said something about food, drinks, and bar, and honestly, that's all we needed to hear - we weren't told sorry closed. Hooray!! As we entered, our ears were treated to some lovely screeching and screaming from the music, because why not, right? Grunge party! Like any new uninformed patron, we were expecting to be seated, but servers repeatedly walked by, offering only brief glances without a smile, greeting, or inquiry about our needs. I turned to my Beautiful Husband and suggested that perhaps we should seat ourselves, as the servers seemed overly occupied. And that is precisely what we did. We plopped ourselves down in a booth, surrounded by decor that screamed 'we don't care' and grunge music that gave off a major 'meh' vibe. We sat staring around and waited for a server like that is what you do in eateries, right? Well, not this night. Servers seemed to embody a 'whatever' attitude and treated us as if we were old friends who departed on bad terms and had not seen each other in a long time avoiding eye contact. While watching the impolite scene playing out before ours eyes I started singing the song melody "Walk on by" using my lyrics "If you see me walking down the street and I start to ask for service each time our eyes briefly meet Walk on by, walk on by." LMAO. Finally I stop a lovely server saying informing her of our first time here snd how does it work. She super politely said just order from the bar. We thanked her and she responded, "Yes ma'am you are welcome" and kept on truckin'. As instructed, my husband bar crawled and ordered two Blue Moon drafts, which are becoming increasingly difficult to find on tap due to eateries opting to sell individual bottles at inflated prices, equivalent to the cost of a six pack purchased at Walmart. The apparent greed is certainly frustrating. Anyway we hung out for a bit and disconnected from the world, enjoyed delicious cold beer and engaged in romantic conversation. Following our intimate interlude, we ordered parmesan wings to go and returned to the hotel. The wings were fried nicely but the flavor was nothing to write about. I am going to take a chance and assume as a non native of Alabama this establishment has maybe a day service etiquette and night service etiquette. Reading other reviews customers seem to echo bad customer service experience yet food was praised. Managers, are you aware that patrons often discuss the pros and cons of their pre- and post-dining experiences? Do you consult reviews to maintain a competitive edge in a challenging economic climate where eateries struggle to remain operational? Here's some sage advice to management: delivering exceptional customer service is the magic ingredient that elevates ambiance and dining experiences from ordinary to extra ordinary even in an aesthetically challenged environment. Conversely, poor service is a flavor-deterrent that can diminishes one's appetite, much like happened to us after discussing our experience on the way back to the hotel. Our appetite was eroded when we tried eating the wings. I am sure it might have tasted better if service was better. As a visitor, I would advise that this establishment may not be suitable for individuals who are easily offended or have specific expectations for customer service. On a positive note, the draft beer was exceptional, particularly in comparison to some of the subpar, flat, or sour drafts we have encountered elsewhere. The customer base was diverse, comprising various age groups, and patrons were generally respectful and mindful of their surroundings.

Yelp
Nice bar and grill with a lot of good beer and food options. Outdoor dining area as well with attentive servers. Place was busy and seemed like a pretty popular spot. Not the place to go to if you're looking for a healthy bite to eat. Lots of cool artwork on the walls and tables as well.

Yelp
The food, the service, and the vibes were all great! So glad we were able to sneak in for brunch with no wait!
google avatar

Sadie W.

Yelp
Love the look and feel of the restaurant. If you love 80's music like I do, you'll be singing right along. My only gripe is the wait for the food was long and the food was cold. I feel like If the food would've came out hot it would've been MUCH better.

Yelp
Great food! Especially all of their burgers! However, I don't like that they charge a "to go" fee for pick up orders. It hasn't always been this way.

Madelyn W.

Yelp
Great ambiance! The tables for 2 are WAY too small - felt like I was going to knock off my drink or my meal every 5 minutes. We had to move tables in order to eat. Decent drink selection, basic menu, and good location with parking out front.

Courtney L.

Yelp
I work next door and just needed a little snack, so I thought I would grab some potato skins here.. when I got there they added a tip (without telling me) then once I left I looked at the amount I was charged and was charged an additional $2 and when I called they couldn't tell me where the other $2 charge come from. Nor did they try to make it right. Oh also for the $18.35 it only come with 5 potato skins. I now remember why I never eat here. 0/10 recommend!!!!

Yelp
The Black Market Bar and Grill in Avondale serves brunch on Sundays from 10 AM to 3 o'clock. This past Sunday I visited there and got the "alley-fried steak" with a side off scrambled eggs. It was very good, and I am excited to go back on another Sunday to try more of their menu items. It was really hard to choose just one thing when they have several delicious looking options. The ambience of the place was casual yet the décor was outstanding. With tattoo flash art and music references everywhere, it was easy to relax and enjoy the food. The servers were also very polite and professional. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Such a fun brunch spot ! We had chicken and pancakes , a pitcher of mimosas and my husband had the corned beef hash. Great atmosphere and music.

Yelp
Not far from the Summit shopping area, this is a great spot for bar food and cheap drinks. I recommend sitting on the patio for happy hour, but get there early because it gets crowded quick. My go to is the Phil's Chicken Fingers tossed in their "Halo the Horrible" hot sauce with a side caesar salad.

Kameron W.

Yelp
I'd prefer to give it 3.5 but I still enjoy my time there. My biggest complaint isn't the service because the service is always wonderful it's more so the crowd on the weekends just a bit rowdy. The food is always great and I make it a point to grab something when I go in. I also love well Wednesdays where all well drinks are a dollar up to a certain time, all in all I enjoy going with friends and having a drink.

Yelp
Name: Black Market Bar & Grill - A Bar From the Darkside Location: Birmingham, AL Date: 10-09-24 Overall Rating (1-10): 8 Review by My Out n About - Robert and Sheila Henley This review and related comments are based on our personal experience at the business discussed and are not endorsed or solicited by the individual business. Your experience will differ. myoutnabout.com myoutnabout@gmail.com FB - https://www.facebook.com/groups/myoutnabout Description: Located in a shopping complex in the Colonnade area of South Birmingham, this small bar is a very popular spot. The theme in the bar is a little on the darker side with black décor and also includes a bit of a biker element. The menu has a large variety of items from standard bar fair to large burgers and sandwiches. We tried their McGoolers Potato Skins $12.95 which were cooked nice and tender with a crispy outer ring. They were covered in bacon, green onion and believe it or not queso cheese. The queso added a bit of a unique flavor that Wolfie really liked. Me not as much. The bar tender was fabulous. We went there a few times over the next couple of days and she had it down pat. She remembered our drinks, our previous conversation. I'm certain she is a reason thus place is so popular. Bottom Line: This is a fun place with interesting décor. Their clientele ranges from bikers to executives. Recommended. Yelp
We went for Sunday brunch. Food was very good. Drinks were delicious. Server seemed to have too many tables to keep up but was friendly. Restrooms were clean.

Yelp
I didn't get to try this location out till recently since I have a Black Market right next to my house. I came here to join my friends after a soccer game about two weeks ago. I like how it was open late on a Sunday night, there are not many places around this area that are. I also felt much safer here late at night than I do at the downtown location. It was a nice atmosphere. Service was pretty good as well. We didn't have to wait long for anything. I got the East Lake tacos as well as beans and rice for the my sides. My food was all pretty good!

Yelp
My Wife and I patronized the Black Market 280 location in Birmingham Alabama. Normally, what would be a nice outing for us both, turned into something mind boggling. We ordered our food, and my wife ordered two lemon drops and I ordered a double shot of vodka. Simple, however the bartender evidently added other customers drinks to our tab that we didn't order, and then refused to rectify the additional charges and literally told me to file a fraudulent complaint with our bank. As a previous business banker and fraud analyst for Wells Fargo I couldn't believe it. This is the first review I've ever done in my life, that is how upset I am.

April B.

Yelp
Great food, ok service. We sat at a table and it was busy, so I understand the service speed; just know before you go. They have some interesting options like Greek egg rolls that are to die for. It's a cool, divish type place, but they will whip out a high-chair.
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
The food is pretty good. The beer is way over priced though. The grilled chicken salad looked beautiful, all the ingredients were fresh and crisp. We also ordered the baked feta, and requested some veggies for my wife instead of pita chips because of the gluten. They were willing to accommodate this special request. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings, which came with thick cut fries. I think the food is worth coming back for.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed in this place. I went with a large group today sat between 2 tables. We found this restaurant simply by searching nearby restaurants on Google maps after another waitlist was just a little too long. The good news is that we were able to sit immediately here, when all surrounding restaurants were on wait lists of at least a hour " The bad news is that we regretted it. I think this alone was possibly a sign. The service was pretty slow (though friendly). The food was very lackluster, and simple expectations went unmet. For instance I ordered a messy appetizer. The waitress said she'd be back with silverware/napkins. She didn't return for about 10 minutes. Also the staff seemed to be willingly inattentive when help was needed, such as when I went in to the bar to ask a question about lunch menus (since the waiter was M.I.A) and despite looking all around and directly at staff while waiting to ask for assistance (waiting for them to finish interacting with bar customers), they would then quickly jet away from my direction. This happened when we initially came in too. There are other reviews that talk about the quality of the food, and are correct. I would steer away from the pancakes and hash browns. It should also be noticed that the grits are actually CHEESE grits, which is not stated on the menu. All around, the majority of the food seemed to be mediocre, or even maybe preserved, as though you are buying fast food and it's not actually being cooked for you. We would definitely not visit again. I only got a few pictures, but the potato skin appetizer was actually really good and a pleasant surprise for the visit.

Yelp
What a gem! Nothing can beat $3 mimosas ($11 pitcher!) for brunch! My husband got the cheatin' vegan omelette than he enjoyed. It's a total bar and grill, chill vibes and great for a less formal breakfast! Our server was great and we enjoyed our time before heading to the airport.
google avatar

Brittney S.

Yelp
Brunch is overpriced McDonald's -Friend said it was the worst French toast he had ever had -$3.50 for hash browns that look like they're from McDonald's -$4 for 3 small pancakes that equaled to one normal pancake, like McDonald's -Syrup came in packets like McDonald's -Was told the kitchen does not know how to fry eggs - they only know how to scramble and poach... how do you not know how to fry an egg at a restaurant that serves brunch???? -$13.50 for Benedict that was just two poached eggs on English muffins , no meat, two slivers of avocado and "pico" that was just chopped up bell pepper and tomato -Our server was very nice and you could tell he was trying really hard to make up for the fact this restaurant is a flop for breakfast

Yelp
First off I don't normally write reviews but nah I have too on this place. If you ready to be in a sticky and humid place, this is your place. This is disgusting all around. Every bit of it. Drink menu online can't be ordered in person. The drinks were gross and we ordered wings and it was disgusting. The fries were alright but everything else was horrible. Customer service after I said was unhappy with stuff was better. But nah don't waste your money. 0/10

John M.

Yelp
Very frustrated. 3 times to come here and they said kitchen is closed due to running out of food. Hours do not suggest that sundays they close between lunch and dinner at 3pm but twice told they said 2pm. Which one is it and needs to be clarified on the internet. Whoever is in charge needs to get this disorganization and poor planning under control. No intent of returning, for basic bar food I would go elsewhere.
google avatar

James E.

Yelp
I love this place, my friends and I come several times per month. The vibe is relaxed and fun, great patio, beer and drinks are reasonably priced. The burgers, wings and sandwiches are good bar style options if you're hungry. I've been coming to BMB since it opened and enjoy myself every time.

Ian B.

Yelp
Service was subpar. Food was mediocre. Location is in the suburbs of Birmingham, and was charging a $20 cover at 9PM on a Saturday night (the same night as Auburn/Kentucky game). Would not recommend, nor will I ever return. You are better off going to Buffalo Wild Wings or literally anywhere else.

Yelp
I went to Black Market looking for a good time and I found it. My local buddy introduced me to this spot, where we had some drinks while enjoying some sports on TV, the fun ambiance, and the extra friendly bartenders. While the place isn't super huge, I have to say they've done an outstanding job in terms of the layout. They've been able to make use of the space to include decent indoor and outdoor seating, in addition they've been able to make the bar the focal point of the place. And why not? There's a good number of taps and dare I say, an outstanding selection of spirits. I appreciate the funky decor (see signage) and the fairly clean bathrooms. Prices don't seem to be too bad and I love the eclectic crowd during peak hours. On occasion, they'll play movies on a projector and when sports is happening, there are a couple of TVs at the bar. And my favorite thing about any nightlife biz: they're open late. So good. The next time, I'll give their food a shot. I've read enough about how good their brunch and burgers are, which always peaks my curiosity.

Yelp
Black Market Grill is a hot commodity in Birmingham, so I had to try it out! I went with some coworkers and sat in their outside seating. It was covered and there were fans, so it was pretty tolerable with this crazy Alabama heat! I ordered the Flip-a-Delphia with steak fries and a side of ranch. The sandwich was delicious. It was cheesy, flavorful, and hot when it reached the table. I'm not a hog fan of steak fries, but these were pretty good too. Nicely seasoned and delicious when dipped in their homemade ranch. Overall, I'd say this experience would bring me back. Good food, good service, definitely priced fairly as well. 5/5

Yelp
Great burgers, cold beer and evil bartenders... what else could anyone ask for? This is a very cool place to grab some really good food and some great drinks.

Brandy H.

Yelp
This location on Hwy 280 is a great place to go and relax without having any additional stress. Parking is a breeze; the atmosphere is great. The televisions are easy to see both indoors and out. During warmer weather, I prefer to sit outside on the patio. The service is always great (even outside). The bartenders are friendly and they make great drinks. The food is oftentimes something I crave! It is never served lukewarm or cold, and it's always ready incredibly fast. This is my "go to" because of the parking ease, but because I always feel welcome.
google avatar

Tim K.

Yelp
Nothing to write home about but not awful either, thus 3 stars. Ordered food to go. Sat at the bar and got a bev while waiting for dinner. The bartender was super friendly and attentive enough to keep coming back letting me know my food was coming. It took 40 minutes. I had barbecued chicken wings with a side salad (vs. fries). The wings were just OK. For $11.99 you get 8 chicken wings. A bit on the pricey side. The barbecue sauce was nothing special most likely something store bought or Sysco purchased. The blue cheese to dip the wings in was more bitter than blue tasting. The salad was an OK size, however the vegetables were not fresh and crisp.
google avatar

Jesse C.

Yelp
Great food, and the bartenders Ángel and Yasmine are awesome! There's a great mix for the customers too!

Michael K.

Yelp
Four horsemen fries for appetizers was killer. And the smash burgers on the tortillas were excellent. The wife says the pimento burger was a 8/10.

Yelp
Had a doc appointment near by and stopped here to eat lunch. It wasn't crowded and the service was good. Atmosphere was nice! I ordered the East Lake Tacos. They were really really good and cooked fresh. Hubby got a huge appetizer plate and it was super good too. We will come back when we are up this way.

Yelp
I love Black Market!! This horror theme restaurant/bar is super cool and quirky. We went to the 5 Points location today (there's also one on 280) for brunch for the first time. The decor inside is movie memorabilia from classics horror movies along with props and other interesting items. The staff is called "evil bartenders" but they seemed cool to me! It was a mild day so we sat outside to people watch and gaze at the fountain. A brief shower got things a little wet but we just moved to a table under the awning and rolled with it! We both had a breakfast burrito and we shared a pitcher of mimosas. The burrito was great, large and filled with yummy goodness. The mimosas were strong! I'm glad my friend was driving for sure. Definitely enjoyed this visit and will be back again soon!

Yelp
This place was better than I expected! We were discouraged when we first walked in, as it was a cold Friday night and no indoor seating. We decided to grab some blankets from the car and brave the outdoor seating. It wasn't too cold, as they had heaters, and it was so worth it. The server was the friendliest, and had great recommendations. The drinks were great, and all of the food was delicious. We had the Greek egg rolls, Alfredo pasta, the protein plate, and ended nicely with the bread pudding. After tonight - I can't wait to go back! The puns on the menu were an added bonus. I absolutely recommend this place!

Yelp
On this late work night, I had I was in the area of the Black Market Bar and Grill and decided to stop for a beverage and get a to go meal. It's Sunday, 11pm and is place is packed. I was able to find me a seat at the bar. I had this petite hottie bar tender that fixed me a beverage and she took my order. I ask her to recommend whatever travels the best. I'm very glad that I ask her advise. She suggested I get the late night wings for 2 and they were delicious. I ask for one order with onion rings and the Wing order with fried okra. Both the onion rings and okra were fried perfect and lite. The wings were made like I remember many years ago before so many sauce choices became the norm for wings. These to me had that bull-sauce with a hint of vinegar taste that was cooked to perfection. Delicious! It's hard to beat this late night meal. I would certainly recommend the food but not sure I could set inside or out. So I'll leave a small constructive message. "Change The Music" it's truly Bizarre at best! Loud Scream-Roaring ? I'm no sure what you call it, but when I hear this I got a mental picture of there biggest fans being Skin-heads or something that they played at a Clan Rally. Whatever you call that kind of music. I have NEVER heard this in a Resturant setting before. But that said, the guy I was speaking with at the bar that frequents this bar. He said he tolerates this music for the food quality. So there it is. I will definitely return for TOGO orders if nothing else.

Yelp
Ate brunch here for Mothers Day. At first the service was very slow and our initial server was incredibly rude and had an attitude. We were waiting 40 min just to get water. What turned around our experience was Brady. An amazing human. He was able to expedite things and made sure we were taken care of. We went from a 1/5 experience to an amazing time. He couldn't have been more sweet. Food is great but service can be a bit hit or miss. Definitely recommend eating here if you're in Bham.

Yelp
I usually come here after work with my coworkers for some drinks and gossip. Drinks are fairly cheap but the staff are assholes. This past Monday my friends and I were there a little past closing hours. Before we left, we wanted to use the restroom to relieve our bladders before we hit the road to drive home. The doors were locked, the whole staff was at the bar with a few other CUSTOMERS inside chilling. So we signaled at the door to use the restroom. They all had their back towards on purpose screaming THERES NOT RESTROOMS. Which is the upmost dickhead move towards two young females. I wouldn't had wrote this review if they would've came to the door like gentlemen's and let us know the restroom was closed rather than the way they handled it. Plus, both of tickets I had were $20 and I tipped $10 both times! When I could've just did 25%. Now when I come I'll be tipping 10% across the board cause that was very shitty of them!

Yelp
Went in for a few drinks. Sat outside got service quickly. Mixed drinks were on point. Employees came by multiple times to check on us. Great atmosphere and good music on the outside patio. When in town I'll be back.

Yelp
I went in for Sunday brunch. The interior of this location it's fairly small, and they were really busy for brunch. Be that as it may, we had really good seats and no wait. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of fruit. This was *hands down* some of the best shrimp and grits I've ever tasted (outside of Louisiana). I am eager to go back for this dish alone! The seasoning and texture is spot-on! The memosa good/decent. My only complaint is that because the facility is small and it gets so busy, it's loud. I think that's just the nature of the Beast in smaller facilities... so meh. Go for the shrimp and grits!!

Yelp
A friend brought me here shortly after moving to the area, and I keep coming back because of the unique Disgraceland burger, with peanut butter and jelly, and an egg, and bacon, on a normal burger. An odd combo that I surprisingly like! Some unique Sunday brunch options I'm starting to try out too. My only complaint is the music can be very loud, but then, it is a bar, and there's a reason (music for one) I normally avoid them. The food makes an exception in this case!

Yelp
Every time I have been the service, food, and drinks has been mediocre. But if you have absolutely nothing to do in the city this would be an okay spot to just chill and socialize.
