Black Mountain Sand - Bigfoot Mine

Worst facility to load at in South Texas. U would only be lucky if u are the only truck loading. Otherwise if several trucks, u gonna wait for a very long time to get loaded. The workers are ok, and the facility is beautiful and has three silos, but their system is very horrible and very slow. They, in most cases, use only one silo. This happens day in day out, and unfortunately no one seems to care. I guess the management is normally exited to see many trucks lined up in their premises; otherwise how else would they explain why trucks have to wait in line for 4 to 6 hrs. They have so much sand, but loading trucks is a big issue to them. Wake up Sir management!!!!

I understand it can be hot and frustrating at times, I'm sure. You know while you wait you have the opportunity to have your lunch, pay bills, talk to your love one's and relax a bit. Always stay positive no matter what. One thing I've come to learn is, it's nice to talk to the truckers while in Load out it's good to have a good laugh or just say "Have a Blessed Day!" So Gentlemen, Much peace and let's stay positive. You never know you may see me some time. I've talked to many of you Gentlemen and just wanted to say Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and also the laughs. God Bless everyone of you out there. Every time I come to this place there’s a line about a half a mile long. They have three silos and only use one most of the time or once in a while two. With all the smart people working there, you would think they would figure out how to get more sand and get trucks moving through there faster. I didn’t want to give it one star because the guys that are actually doing most of the work opening the hatches and in the small office at the front are very nice. It’s the smart guys in the main office that can’t figure out how to move trucks in and out faster.

Bad service, The people who open the lids do not do it efficiently, causing traffic and delays. When the truck leaves, they only send the ticket and do not go out to close the lids.....I cannot believe that this happens in a private company.WHAT HAPPEN ABOUT THE SUPERVISION ON THIS GUYS

Lazy workers. No supervision on the workers that load and open and close lids on boxes. They be on their phone most of the time and make you wait till they want to get up black mountain in dimmit is worse

It's wild to see the same reviews reporting the same issues from 3 years ago to 4 days ago. This plant is set up to be great but it is obviously mismanaged. There are a couple nice folks working at the hatch gate but it takes hours to get to that point. Always running only 1 silo amd trucks backed up a mile out the gate. Is anything being done to fix these issues? After 3 years I guess not. Superior Sand earns it's name every day because they obviously care.....

Worst place to come load. Always long lines of truck and only 1 silo operating. I don’t understand how a plant like this one don’t never fix whatever it’s causing all these issues. Nothing like Signal Peak and Superior.

It's sand facility but something 🤔 very important need to verify before putting empty boxes if they have lids on top Black Mountain Bigfoot did not want to load me because the empty boxes did not have lids, this entails costs that run into our pockets the forklift could verify why it is at the height of the boxes and it is easier to observe much better please Thank you
