This is THE place in town for your coffee! It's where the locals hang, the dogs gather, and the people watching is the best. My Americano was delicious every time I came here, (4), and I had a spinach quiche, bought a bag of whole coffee beans to go, but the best part of all was...a perfectly warmed chocolate chip cookie that just melted in your mouth! Incredible...The energy inside is contagious, the large windows up front with a small ledge for your Joe and sweet treat, is perfectly located, and the conversations amongst the tables behind you, confirm that you've found the town hangout. Enjoy! I sure did.

Honestly, obsessed. Love this shop. The coffee and tea were great. I was at a bachelorette party and we stopped here twice on our 3-day Sonoma visit because it was so good. The aesthetic of the shop was also so cute! They have grounds/beans you can buy to make your own coffee at home, too. There’s a bathroom and self-serve water with glasses if you need it.

I cannot say enough about Black Oak and how much I love it! The food and bakery items are exceptional, and the lattes are some of the best I’ve ever had. The lovers lane latte with vanilla cold foam (pictured) is to die for! I live 20-30 minutes from here, but I wanted to try it out, and they didn’t disappoint! I returned that same weekend with my family and went twice that day because their coffee was THAT GOOD. I was very pleased and couldn’t stop raving to my friends about Black Oak. I would drive out here any day, and I so badly wish we had one in Santa Rosa. Not to mention, the pricing is reasonable compared to most shops. After trying Black Oak, nothing compares, and all I want now is to invest in an espresso machine to use their beans at home whenever I’d like- it’s seriously that good! The atmosphere and location are also amazing. The vibes inside the shop are cozy, warm, and inviting, but if you want to enjoy the great weather, they have outdoor seating, and the shop is a few steps from their downtown square. My experience with Black Oak has been a 10/10 in every aspect, and I wish I had found them sooner. I love Black Oak Coffee!!

I usually stick to non sugary coffee drinks but I had to try the Dubai Mocha. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 100000/10! I also order a five pound bag on subscription and have been satisfied with the coffee and lovely staff when I go in. Keep up the amazing work!

I've heard really good things about this spot so l made sure to stop by while in town! I got the Pandan latte which i enjoyed. I also tried their saffron cortado which was a unique twist on a cortado, I do wish i could've tasted the saffron a little bit more though. My boyfriend ordered their jalapeño cheddar biscuit and wow! It was incredibly moist and flavorful, definitely a must grab.

Good coffee location and it get busy at times. I want to say that the AC turns on very cold. Parking some time is hard to find because it’s near the downtown area.

Pretty basic/ in line with all the other minimalist craft coffee shops. Coffee was no better nor worst than the next. I would return here if in the area maybe but it's pretty busy and there are plenty of other shops in the area. Espresso was good taste and good temp and perfect amount of liquid for a double. Cold Brew tasted like cold brew I have had before not bad but not "it". Sister's iced latte NF milk was standard as well.

Cute spot! Good latte. Stunning pottery. Super curious pricing schemes. Not sure how matcha could vary from $4-7 but lattes from 4.50-6. T-shirts for $20 but hats for $25. Maybe this is just me being skeptical of money laundering. Anyway. The latte art was a swan which I thought was fabulous. This is your typical, reliable, hippy liberal coffee shop.

We were really blown away by the coffee here. The lavender latté really struck a perfect balance of high quality coffee and not being too sweet. The place itself was clean and pleasant, and the staff were great. Would definitely go back!

Stopped by here on a Friday morning and had a delicious Lovers Lane latte!! The bee pollen added a very yummy touch. I would definitely get again. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 as we had to sit outside, even though it was a bit chilly out, because there isn't tons of indoor seating. Since it was a weekday, there were a LOT of people working in there and I don't think there's enough seating to allow people to work all day in there.

fantastic coffee shop in healdsburg plaza. Came here all three days we were here and tried something different each time, they were all great. Love me the matcha and the special matcha for valentines. The place is spacious, though its extremely popular it was hard to get a table. The pastries and food looked delicious, especially the ham and cheddar sandwich on sourdough. OH MY! The staff is friendly and look like they enjoy what they are doing. The lines are long (close to or out the door) but it moves relatively fast. wish we had one of these places in san jose!

We were looking for a good coffee shop during our short stop into town and boy did we find a gem!!! The moment you walk in you know it's gonna be good because it's bustling! The baristas are so nice and make everything with such care! The gluten free blackberry scone was magical and my husband was obsessed with his chocolate chip cookie! Also the coffee was delicious!! I got their honey latte and it was so creamy and the coffee was smooth! The cold brew was also great and easy to sip!! Definitely going back as much as we can on our trip!

After wine tasting and lunch, we ended up going to this coffee shop. The house was super generous and took the time and explaining different types of coffee.. She was one of my favorite because she really listened to our needs and gave us a really yummy cup of heaven. The lavender latte. This is a clean and super cute area. Just hang out before driving back home.

Gingerbread Latte! Stopped in last week for an early afternoon pick me up. I normally order a traditional, not sweet latte. But Everyone's been raving about the gingerbread latte so I had to try it (pro tip: request 'light sweet' - that was still plenty sweet!). Gingery, cozy, delicious, and oh-so-cute with a gingerbread cookie served on top! This seasonal drink tasted like a warm holiday hug! Give it a try while it's still on the menu!

Came back and tried the Finca Buenos Aires Sidra. Coincidentally, I did this before Dean the business owner commented on my previous review. This pourover was a knockout. It tasted like a nectarine was liquified into my cup. Every sip was so tasty and the smell on the nose was so good I made everyone I was with indulge me and take a big whiff of it. In my opinion, this is the better of the two offerings currently on the menu. Can't go wrong with either, but this stone-fruit flavor with medium-bright acidity and overall, nice balance on the finish (with good body) is more rare than the berry fruits you get with the Gesha currently available as pourover. This Finca Buenos Aires Sidra was the best coffee I tried on my trip (Tried pourover from Voyager coffee, retrograde, coffee and water lab, Ritual).

This is my favorite coffee shop in Healdsburg. Every time I'm in town I stop by for a cup of Joe. They are located in downtown Healdsburg right off the main plaza. The space is warm and inviting with plenty of seating inside. I love their stylish decor. They have a big coffee menu and plenty of pastries if you're hungry. It's always fun to try their specialty drink menu. I also like to order a regular latte. The coffee art is fun. Their bags of coffee are great for gifts.

I was looking for a good coffee shop in the area and my friend recommended this place. The inside is very big and nice. I love the interior decoration. There are also plenty of tables inside. I got matcha latte, blueberry muffin and quiche. Matcha latte is a bit bland for me and not sweet at all so I am not a big fan of it. But the pastry was really good, especially quiche! Service was lovely. I will definitely be back next time!

Great service in a cute local area! We went here during our stay in Napa and enjoyed the ambiance and the coffee. The cinnamon scone was also yummy :)

Such an amazing coffee shop! The peanut butter mocha was such a surprise, it was delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful in making recommendations. The dark chocolate croissant was so good! The avocado toast and bacon sando were also pretty good. There was plenty seating to enjoy your coffee and in a great location. Definitely recommend making this your next coffee stop if you're in Healdsburg!

In the past decade, Healdsburg has become the center of trendiness and culture on the fringes of the Bay Area. Now, that's not necessarily a bad thing for a basically agricultural town that found a sweet spot in developed taste and quality. This coffee roaster is a perfect example of an independent coffee establishment that brings down the conglomerate institutions of the likes of Starbucks or Peets. Not that those places aren't worthy of recognition and good quality, it's different in that they are high volume mass produced corporate entities driven primarily by profit. This gem of a coffeehouse is just off the main Square is delightful, "homey," and yes, trendy. The aroma of good quality coffee permeates when going through the front door. The place is accommodating in space with indoor and outdoor patio seating, yet by mid day, nearly every seat was taken by the ubiquitous coffeehouse laptop sitters who lanquish in these places for hours. Are they homeless? In desperate need of social interaction, although they never interact? Does one coffee allow them a seat for four hours? They were here in abundance! I got a latte and a very wonderful looking chocolate chip cookie. The offerings are good, and the quality level is obvious, along with the expected high price tags. I paid approximately $11. for a coffee, cookie, and tip. The cookie was absolutely scrumptious, well baked, and worth every cent for a snack. The coffee came in a beautiful cup and saucer and was delightful. They work on the same level as Blue Bottle Coffee (which is also somewhat corporate, yet at a higher level). Overall, it was a very good experience. Service was efficient. The only reason I knocked it down one star is the price point, although the value is there, and the fact if you want a seat, forget it here.

This is one of my favorite coffee places around. I just wish they opened a location in San Francisco or closer to it, since I will go anytime I am in Healdsburg or Ukiah. The signature lattes like the Lovers Lane are great and they have a great selection of food and snacks. Breakfast burritos, etc. Good amount of seating although can be busy.

Working in Santa Rosa for two weeks, we love the Ukiah location so we drove 25 minutes this morning for coffee, and it was definitely the right choice. We grabbed a Lovers Lane lavender and bee pollen latte (if relaxing can be a flavor, this is it!) and a coconut Pandan Latte. Both were excellent, added a granola yogurt then sat back and enjoy(e)d a peaceful start to our Anniversary day.

Great reward to come here today. Friendly staff, great lavender latte and I ordered a breakfast burrito without the tortilla and it's fantastic. Fast too. Love this place. Lots of happy people here!!

Another Sunday outing to read and enjoy the fresh Spring air. The shop was busy but the staff were friendly and not bothered by the constant rush. The small booths in the front were inviting for my wife and me to sit comfortably and read while sipping on a lavender oak milk latte and dirty chai latte, respectively. I can see why this is a popular place, whether for a quick drink and bite or to lounge in, we will be back!

Stopped by for a morning coffee and had a terrific experience! The ambiance was welcoming and busy. I saw many people chatting with friends or doing some work. It seemed like such a great atmosphere. The place is very spacious and open with both indoor and outdoor seating. There was also a bathroom which was nice. The baristas were incredibly friendly as well. I ordered a latte with non fat milk. It was one of the best lattes I've ever had because the espresso was so smooth. Wish I could've stayed longer to enjoy the ambiance!

The peanut butter latte was ok, it needed more peanut butter to make it feel like the name I think. Got two chicken focaccia sandwiches and they were overpriced at $14 for bread, mayo cheese and some chicken. My wife's looked like she got a half serving of chicken in hers. I mean the quality wasn't bad, but it wasn't much. Same with the $8 yogurt, but then again I guess it's tourist prices in healdsburg. Coffee is decent though, if I had just gotten a latte it probably would have been a 4 star review. too bad...

Now, that is what I would call a coffee spot! The ambiance/vibe, the smell of the coffee/tea, the food, etc. Come here to take a respite from window shopping. You will not be disappointed. The medium sized Matcha Chai and Buttermilk Biscuit Breakfast sando were delicious and filling at the same time. They were able to hold me until dinner, both from an energy and appetite standpoint. It was also fun to people watch, especially with the kiddos that came with their parents.

This is my go to spot when I want an iced vanilla coffee whenever I'm in town. It's creamy and not too sweet. I have been to other places and it's usually really watery and sometimes with no taste. Their pastries are I believe are made in house.

We are a lesbian couple that have had trouble in the past with visiting local places in states due to some of the locals not being welcoming, this shop is all inclusive and absolutely makes you feel at home. Awesome environment, awesome coffee and food, awesome people behind the bar!

I like what they do with the iced coffee now they put it in a shaker with ice because it a little little bit of froth and a little bit of flavor and not as much ice. Thank you for the upgrade. I hope it continues.!!! I'm a big fan of the coffee, not bitter. It's kind of smooth and smoky.

For the longest time, it was hard to find good coffee in Healdsburg. While you can find plenty-a-tasting rooms here, in the mornings after a full day of drinking, there's always something lacking. That changed once Black Oak opened. Nestled on a side street close to the plaza, the espressos here are earthy, well-rounded and delicious, and we also loveeee to get a bag or two of beans to go. We've also tried the cold brew and it was deliciously balanced as well! Yes I'm aware of the other, older establishments but I much prefer this one. Plus the folks here are always super friendly. Definitely the only coffee place I would stop by in town!

Last time I've been to this place was this past summer. Not my first time but I wanted to go back because I remember liking their drinks. My husband ordered the smores mocha and mine was the fruity mocha. Both were iced or blended I can't recall. Drinks were good! The coffee was strong and the flavor all tasted well together. Also not overly sweet. Definitely a must try when in the area.

This is a very bustling coffee shop with wifi. It's cute and bright inside with limited seating. You can order on your phone or wait in line, but the drinks come out fairly quick. You have to specify if you want your drink for here or to go because it usually does come in a to go cup. I ordered a lavender latte extra sweet and it was truly the best latte I ever had.

Amazing coffee and food items were tasty. Atmosphere is cute and bright. Great start of a day or place for cheery conversation or WiFi surfing. Have been to the location in Ukiah which is a bit more laid back but this keeps the food and drink quality and a wonderful stop for independent coffee house fans.

Came here for the coffee while down town one day and ended up coming back the next day for another great coffee and breakfast sandwich! Their coffee is excellent, my partner said he had one of the best lattes he had had in a while and that it was super smooth. The charcuterie breakfast sandwich caught my eye and though I thought it seemed pricy I still got it. The bagel sandwich was on the smaller size but wow was it made up of great quality ingredients - the bagel it self was great, the salami was amazing quality, the honey cream cheese was perfectly balanced etc!

Came in on a Saturday early afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by how busy it was. Everyone seemed to love this place! I got an iced latte with almond milk and SF vanilla. It tasted delicious and was exactly what I was looking for! I also got a brown butter toffee cookie and it was incredible with so much flavor packed into it. The vibes are awesome and the staff is so friendly. The person who took my order was such a sweetheart and they made the visit even better. We were there for a couple hours doing some work and got plenty done, plus there's a ton of seating. The music selection was upbeat and fun too. I definitely recommend you put this local coffee shop on your list to visit!!! Thanks again

I love coming here it's so welcoming to anyone and everyone. You get there and they are always so nice great customer service. Their online ordering is also great and convenient as they can get pretty busy sometimes. They're coffees and drinks are the best in town for sure and a lot of people agree.

A staple coffee spot in town - the baristas are clearly masters and we enjoyed the coffee. The chai latte is not overly sweet with a nice balance of spice and bitterness, I appreciated the chai a lot! Beautiful latte art as well:)

The food was great I ordered a coffee cake and it was delicious and the coffee was even better. The coffee came out in under five minutes which makes it a decent place to go if you are in a hurry. On the inside there was a massive mural and other art.

I always stop by this coffee spot anytime I pass through Healdsburg! Great location, simple classic menu items, great service, and a nice restroom available for customers. I usually get the iced coffee to stay awake during roadtrips. Recently when I came in I was also offered a sample of a nitro brewed jasmine tea, which I believe is a new item. Great to see them offer samples for these new varieties. Sometimes I've seen pretty long lines, but the longest I've personally waited is around 10min. The staff is very efficient with the drinks, I haven't tried any of the food items yet so can't speak for those. There's ample seating inside as well, but it can get pretty full sometimes. Stopped in here with my mom to get a small bag of coffee as a gift for a friend. Also bought 3 different cookies and a scone. We shared the maple pecan scone and it was quite nice. Later, I ate the toffee cookie, which tasted like a burnt-toffee cookie (in a way I liked). I'm told the chocolate chip cookie was great, and the apple gingersomething cookie was also delicious. My mom buys Black Oak Coffee Roasters coffee beans from costco in a 2 pound bag. I wanted something smaller which is why we came here to the Healdsburg shop. The holiday blend that I picked up has a really amazing smell and I'm confident it'll be a good gift. The shop is pretty typical in size for a coffee shop. They had some merchandise (shirts, bags, hats) but not as many coffee mugs as I had expected. The ones they had were a little hard to figure out the price, so I just stuck with the coffee. The menu in the outside window implied they have breakfast and brunch foods but it wasn't obvious when I was at the counter, looking at the pastries, or browsing the shop in general, so I'm not sure if they always have those or only sometimes. Anyway, I would not mind stopping here again for treats, and possibly more (I don't drink coffee so that's hard for me to personally review here).

Nice and comfy coffee roaster place in town. Located next to the Healdsburg plaza square. Indoor seating is so nice and also the outdoor seating right the back side. The coffee tastes great and the service was excellent. Highly recommended and definitely be back!!

We just left here on a Sunday morning around 10am. The servers were nice and knowledgeable. Our order was to go. We ordered the lavender latte, ginger orange cardamom latte both with oat milk. They were fantastic served at the right ready to drink temperature. We also ordered the ghitard chocolate chip cookie (it was definitely worth the price). It was thick and delicious with plenty of chocolate. The coffee shop was clean and neat and filled up quickly after we ordered. We will definitely make this our go to spot when in the area.

Black Oak Coffee was my go-to for coffee in Healdsburg two days in a row, and I would most definitely come back. Coffee: I loved the lavender latte and the peanut butter mocha. I appreciate the unique flavors and beautiful coffee art. Inside: It's spacious, well-decorated, and has plenty of work space. The service was exceptional.

Beautiful space, stellar coffee, and the nicest staff. I've never had a anything but great experiences when visiting. Their coffee - Meadow - is my favorite and I always grab a bag when I'm in town.

ZB Great coffee and very nice pastries. Close to the plaza. Delicious yogurt parfait with berry compote. Plenty of seating on chairs, high tables, etc. A llovely spot for morning coffee and pastries.

Loved the Horchata latte and the Gingered Orange Cardamom Latte here! The horchata latte literally tasted like cinnamon toast crunch cereal milk, and we went back for seconds! Everyone was incredibly kind and fast! And the coffee shop was so cute, warm, with a lot of space.

Cute coffee shop that also sells pastries and baked goods. They have special drinks that I've not seen elsewhere. Ended up getting a jasmine iced tea with passion fruit and cucumber and it was delicious! They will sub any alt milk product if you don't like regular dairy which is nice. Service was friendly and reasonably fast.
