A wonderful place. We keep coming back because the food is delicious, it's not expensive, the portions are generous, and the service is unbeatable. The full English breakfast and eggs Benedict are wonderful. The cinnamon roll is also delicious.

Hands down the best vegan breakfast ever! 🌱✨ We ordered the Full Breakfast, the Tofu Benedict, and the egg & bacon sandwich (all plant-based, of course!) and every bite was incredible. On top of that, we treated ourselves to a cinnamon roll and hazelnut croissants absolutely to die for. 🥐💛 The flavors, textures, and portions are spot on, and it’s one of those places you instantly want to tell everyone about. Honestly, I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in Edinburgh and looking for a breakfast that’s both indulgent and 100% vegan, The Black Rabbit is the place. 🖤🐇

A small, cosy café with just a few tables, but clearly a local favourite — it was busy when I arrived, so be prepared you might need to wait for a spot. The space has a relaxed vibe, perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Although there were plenty of tempting options on the menu, I couldn’t resist the Tofu Benedict — and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The hollandaise sauce was so rich and creamy. I don’t know if they make the bacun or buy it in, but it’s genuinely the best vegan bacun I’ve ever had. I wasn’t the only one in the café with a squeaky-clean plate by the end!

Cozy place serving delicious food. Probably the best scrambled tofu and the best vegan bacon I’ve ever had. Their cakes are amazing! If you’re asked to wait for a table, do it, it’s worth the wait! We can’t wait to go back and meet again the friendly staff.

Had an amazing lunch here with my husband. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is amazing! The tofu Benedict is truly a great dish so we both had one, along side a chai matcha latte and a salted caramel coffee. We took some scrumptious pastries to go.

An incredible find in Edinburgh! This 100% vegan deli is fantastic. The food is delicious and clearly made with great care, using natural and top-quality ingredients (like the excellent Gondino vegan cheese). The atmosphere is just as good—the whole place has a wonderful vintage Italian vibe that makes it feel so cozy, welcoming, and stylish. Highly recommend this place Is a must-visit!

so cute and with such delicious food! I had the biscoff bun (£3) and even though I went close to closing it was still soft! I also got the nae sausage and egg pastry which was also gorgeous. my friend got the Boston cream donut and the breakfast sandwich with haggis and bacon which were also both great! pretty large portions too :)

Fantastic scrambled tofu on toast. Texture and flavour spot on. Coffee wasn't amazing but perfectly acceptable. Prices were very reasonable. Not much seating inside, but thankfully it was a quiet morning. Highly recommend this place for fellow vegans!
