Black Rifle Coffee

The coffee is delicious as it always is. My only issue is that I have been here 3 times this month and I’ve dealt with one very nice female employee and two very rude male employees. I’m not sure if the Norfolk location is bad at hiring but the employees here are not great. The Virginia Beach location is full of happy good spirited people which I always enjoy. I hope this location hires some better people. I won’t be visiting for a while. Maybe it will change by then.

The coffee drinks are too inconsistent. I’ve gotten 3 large peppermint iced lattes this week and each one was different. The first one was amazing. I got it after 5pm on Tuesday and it was perfectly made. Could taste the peppermint. Wasn’t too bitter. Had whipped cream on top. The next one was a tad bitter (maybe not enough milk or syrup?) and there wasn’t whipped cream. I went around noonish on Wednesday or Thursday. (Maybe I have to ask for whipped cream?) My partner brought me home another one this morning (Saturday 10am). And again it’s bitter, not enough syrup for sure (I questioned if there was even peppermint in it, after I have already mixed it up) and there wasn’t whipped cream on it. The drinks are too inconsistent. It isn’t terrible, but it’s like Dunkin’ Donuts. You never get the same drink twice. Thankfully though, your coffee isn’t super acidic. I’ll still come here over Dunkin’ because the coffee does taste good and isn’t acidic and I’ll come here over Starbucks because the coffee isn’t over priced and has more bang for your buck. Again, the coffee IS good. The prices are very fair! It would just be nice if the coffee being made was consistent. Also had the chicken fajita burrito and it was decent. They have great breakfast options.

I love the aesthetic side of BRCC but the service was awful and the employees were rude and got my order wrong I ordered a large and the man gave me small I also ordered a kolache and it was cold. I wanted buy merchandise and no one attended the cash register when I clearly saw three people working..on what I don’t know because the place was dead. Don’t get me wrong I will go back in hopes of better staffing or customer service next time. I blame the employees not the company by the way because I am military and I support my troops.

I was SO excited when I realized there was a Black Rifle Coffee near me. There’s a large lot with a drive thru for quick pickups. Inside is well decorated with lots of seating. There’s also a shop inside with merchandise. Staff are very friendly and patient. I loved the many flavor options but got my usual Vanilla latte. They have milk alternatives for $1 more. It was delicious, well balanced, flavor wasn’t too sweet with the right amount of acidity from the espresso. Highly recommend the blueberry crumb muffin as well. They heated it up for me and it was amazing. Will definitely be returning! They have an app to collect points for rewards as well. This location will be a frequent visit :)

This was my first visit to Black Rifle and went through the drive thru to get coffee and something quick to eat. I like the lower prices in comparison to other coffee spots. The coffee I got was perfectly blended with a "light roast" coffee and vanilla & caramel flavoring. This one is called "The Liberty Bell". And I also got their pumpkin muffin as well. It was a big sized muffin and tasted freshly baked. (Sorry, I took a bite of it.🥰) I've been to many different kinds of coffee shops from Florida to New York and this is a good one, mostly because if I compare it with the big franchises, this is better as far as taste and cost.

Stopped by Sunday morning and the atmosphere was very chill. There was a decent crowd but we still received our coffees fairly quickly. I personally drank a hot dark chocolate mocha and enjoyed it a lot. It was very rich and flavorful. I highly recommend if you like coffee and supporting veteran owned businesses.

First time visiting today. Pretty basic menu. The lady in the drive thru was super sweet helping me pick out a coffee Id like. The white chocolate mocha is good. I also got the pancakes n sausage. They pack up your utensils and sauces in a cute little bag. I do wish it had a napkin but I was heading home to eat anyway. Pancakes were eh- ok. Sausage was really good ill likely be back to try something else.

Wow 1st time at BRCC. We were on our way home from the beach and made a quick detour to stop, which turned into longer due the Coffee and cars in the parking lot. Wish we had one in our area.

I took a wrong turn and ended up stumbling across Black Rifle Coffee Company -- glad I did! I stopped in for a quick pick-me-up and was pleasantly surprised. The store has a cool vibe with tons of merch and coffee gear if you're into brewing at home. Definitely a great spot to stock up. I tried the matcha, which was creamy and smooth -- not too sweet, just right. Then I tried the mocha espresso -- bold, punchy, and hit harder than my Monday morning alarm. Instant caffeine kick. I think I saw sounds. Bonus points for super quick service and a drive-thru, aka the holy grail for introverts and people in pajamas.

I'll always recommend a vet owned business. The atmosphere is super chill and cool, they have a variety of things to buy like sweatshirts/ cups/ premade coffee bags etc (i had to walk away from that area bc I'd go broke) I got a breakfast sandwich and I believe some sweet kind of bakery item. Both were great. I can't remember the name of the coffee I got but it was absolutely amazing. I'll totally be back, the food and overall service is worth making the drive again:)

Great coffee and excellent service! I was impressed with the variety of merchandise and the various selection of coffee bags for purchase! This was my first time inside one of their shops as I don't believe there is one in my home state. We ordered an iced coffee, hot coffe and a paradise. All of them were on point and deliciously smooth. All the staff were nice. Our barista Lily did an amazing job with answering my questions and assisting me in choosing a drink. Her service was impeccable which matched her delightful smile and bright personality! Thank you Lily for making our first trip to Black Riffle Coffee a great experience! If we're ever back in the area, we will be sure to stop here!

They can't sell anything officially until tomorrow but they are still open! And to start, their customer service is wonderful!!! I'm so excited they're opening tomorrow. I've already been to the one on Virginia Beach Blvd. So this coffee is not new to me. Tastes just as good and I am so grateful for that. The one thing I don't like is the confusing drive through. But otherwise it's a pretty cool new coffee shop!

SHE'S HERE! I'm so excited Black Rifle Coffee is near me. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant, hot honey sausage sandwich, and the hazelnut iced coffee. I order my coffee with almond milk and sweetened. It is very good. The Starbucks is going to have some real competition! The egg and cheese croissant was cold at first so I had to go back. The croissant was extremely flaky and was good (the second time around). The hot honey sandwich could have had extra hot honey but all in all It was a great breakfast sandwich. I did not go inside but the outside ambiance was super cute and classic. The service in the drive thru was a little long but everything is made to order. 10000000/10 recommend.

I never leave reviews but this had to be done. I go in for a coffee cause its on my way to sunday church. I decide to come here over starbucks acrosse the street thinking I'll save a penny and have a new experience. I order my usual, a iced americano, black. Small. $6.50 then the ipad comes around asking for a tip I'm thinking dang why didnt I go to starbucks could have AT LEAST got a medium for $6.50. I leave a meager tip and sit here with my now $7.07 small cup of watery black coffee. Like FOR REAL. Guys, you cannot keep this up for much longer, this is insane. I was really hoping the barista accidently over charged me or this is a glitch in the matrix... or maybe I'm just poor. I could have gotten a hundred cups of folgers instant coffee for this meager little shot of espresso mixed with tap water + 4 ice cubes. Never again Black rifles, never again.

Love the atmosphere in here! It's spacious and cozy at the same time, and very clean. Great spot to study or work. There is a lot of parking available as well. The food and coffee are amazing! The coffee is on the stronger side so if you love strong this is the place for you! Service is fast and the staff are nice!

Coffee was great and there is plenty of BRCC branded clothing, mugs, etc. Service was good.

I ditched Starbucks for this place. The drinks have great flavor and their coffee doesn't taste burnt. Their food is way better quality than Starbucks too. Service is nice, I have only used the drive thru thus far tho. The outside is always clean.

The blood orange tea is cool and so refreshing im also a big fan of the spicy jalapeño sausage and egg and cheese sandwich! Food is amazing! The employees were so nice I'd rate the service a 10/10 The ambience is truly amazing as well it looks like a modern look 10/10

I was not prepared to love this spot as much as I do! There is virtually NEVER any line, the staff is always pleasant, the drinks are delicious. The military discount is nice, but the punch cards making every 6th drink free are the real draw. We have tried a handful of different lattes, usually iced. I love the caramel and they've had some nice holiday flavors as well. They're also almost never as sweet as a certain competining chain, which I appreciate!

Love it. I've previously only been to the VB location, and I like that location too. Customer service is friendly at both, and my lattes have always been fantastic. My latte today, from this location, is delicious. I didn't even realize they had one at Ward's Corner, or I would have stopped by before now! The one thing they do here that I appreciate more is they let ME scan my card and enter my tip, instead of taking my card, and then telling me the machine is asking if I want to leave a tip. Either way, Black Rifle makes some delicious coffee, and I'll be a regular visitor, I'm certain.

Look we got 2 iced (room temp) coffees and they were ok, decent coffees. But ur gonna pull out all the stops on making ur marketing, image, and branding amazing and get THE CHEAPEST possible cups???? Every. Single. Time. I picked that cup up, coffee magically found its way outside the cup??? I had 6 months of fast food napkins in my glove box, never stood a chance. THANK god I didn't get a large. My fucking center console looks like it got gang bukaked by some rope shooting coffee monster. The lids wer fully snapped on and I still would've been better off licking the side of the cup like a McDonalds icecream cone. It wouldve been easier to hand me the cup upside down so I didn't have to look for the hidden spots that are sticky and smell like coffee. I'd rather have to clean spilled glitter than order from here again. I'm gonna be smelling coffee for weeks. Great job guys!

Solid coffee shop with good food. Quick service and lots of military memorabilia for atmosphere.

Awesome cold brew-great flavor and super smooth! The dessert that I had was delicious-the caramel apple bar! Great service! Shout out to Jenna!

The coffee is very strong i got an iced vanilla latte and i didnt taste much vanilla. the drive through service is nice and quick. they are very friendly and the place is adorable great location. just not a huge fan of the coffee. couldve just been the one i got that day wasnt the best. still recommend!

Great service ,good food and coffee very reasonable priced they are now my favorite coffee place better than Starbucks or dunks in this area they are my go to for a good cup of coffee and a quick bite.

Beautiful, well lit, and very clean. I ordered the pumpkin iced coffee and it was made incredibly well. Will be coming back again. Loved the customer service as well.

Always great coffee especially when knowing you are supporting a veteran owned business. 10/10 would recommend. The hot honey biscuit is so good. Biscuit isn't dry either, it's very fluffy and a decent size for the price.

Great coffee, great location. I like their model and how much they support the community & military.

Cheaper than Starbucks plus a discount for Veterans which is always gets my vote. Drive through was fast an efficient for the newly opened store at Wards Corner.
