Black Rock Coffee Bar

I love the look & style of this place and ever since seeing the Blue Diamond location being built, I’ve been meaning to come this far south to try it. I finally got around to it today. To sum up my visit, I’d have to say it’s nothing special. I always like to try whatever their regular house/drip brew is, so I ordered one of that and one of something called the JackHammer. The drip was good. It didn’t push Starbucks or Peet’s to shame (which was what I expected) but it was a solid decent cup of coffee. The JackHammer was....meh. Not that sweet, not that flavorful, not much of anything. Oh well. Good branding doesn’t mean excellent coffee. 🤷‍♀️

Coffee menu very streamlined. Coffee and tea concoctions have enough variations without being overwhelming. Smallish space with efficient layout. Drive through very easy to use. Didn't like that the air-conditioning vent was pointing directly on the tables by the windows. Ordered a Mexican mocha which was tasty.

Cold brew was strong and good! A bit pricey for coffee. The building is nice and music is loud. Bathroom does not have a bag hook or A/C. Trendy place. They have a rewards program, sign up with your phone number.

It's a great coffeeshop! Fantastic atmosphere from the music playing to the friendliness of the employees. They are attentive to customers and also seem to be friends with each other and truly enjoy their job. The coffee and drinks are tremendous as well. I recommend the sweet foam cold brew as it's not too sweet but adds a nice accent to the cold brew. Their tea selection is also good. I really appreciate they open at 5 as I can get a few hours of work in a cool environment with a good drink. There are only two reasons I rated this 4 stars. First is the temperature is frigid inside! If you plan on working on a laptop or spending time in the shop, bring a hoodie (even if it's 100°+ outside). It was so cold that when I took a break I realized my hands started getting stiff from the cold. The vents cover the entire area so it doesn't matter where you sit, you'll probably get blasted with freezing air. The second thing is the WiFi isn't super fast. Again, I try to get some work done and have found myself waiting on some stuff to load that can create a wait time. I know that's a first world problem, but still. Overall, good product and great staff, just a few comforts missing that would have led me to give it 5 stars.

As always, Black Rock is amazing!!! The service is great as is the product. I stopped in for a fuel energy drink and ended up trying something new. Thank you Black Rock for being amazing when I need you most. #morningssuck !!

Friendly, helpful staff. Both beverages we tried were satisfactory (Iced Jackhammer and a hot tea). Bright and comfy atmosphere.

My favorite coffee place yet, amazing drinks and superb service. My fiance orders the coffees I order the awesome energy drinks they have, which they have like 20+ flavors to choose from and you can choose any flavor you want no extra charge, they even have an organic option for the energy drinks they make. Also its extremely quick almost always done before I pull up to the window, and have very reasonable prices.They even have a loyalty program so make sure you sign up for that! I suggest trying the organic apple raspberry energy drink if you like a tarty flavor to your drinks

Good drink, need more seats. Table was amazing want to buy one for my house!!!!!!
