Black Rock Coffee Bar

Okay, I have never eaten or bought coffee at Black Rock Coffee Bar until a few days ago. I had their Oreo iced coffee and it was awesome. In addition, I decided to try the salt bagel with cream cheese. This is not an ordinary bagel and it tastes delicious and it's light. The cream cheese counters the salt which you can also taste but is not overwhelmingly salty. It is just the right balance. I will be going back to Black Rock even though it is a little further than a national chain which I do not care to mention. I also like the atmosphere as it's not dirty and I like the music. Awesome!

Although the employee at the window was smiling when reading off my order, when I tipped her she didn’t even say thank you ? Like why am I tipping when all you do is make a drink and hand it to me, but I did and not even a thank you ?! Also my blended brevé had big chunks of ice still in the drink, not happy because this isn’t the 1st time it’s happened….maybe I should ask for it to be double blended or not visit this location I suppose 🙄☹️ #crunchcrunchcrunch

We used to love coming here, but today was the 3rd time in 2 weeks that my order has been incorrect. ☹️ I order Oatmilk because I have an autoimmune issue so I try to keep dairy at a minimum and my Lattes have been made with regular milk in each of these instances, even though the order was repeated correctly. Thankfully I don’t have a true allergy but this carelessness is not okay. I hope this feedback makes it to the correct person so they can coach the staff.

Each time I've been at this location and had a mobile order service is TERRIBLE. You wait in a line, and NO BARISTAS acknowledge you. I've had to literally asked to be help. What is the point of a mobile order when the SOLE focus is the drive-thru. It took 30 minutes at that point. I didn't want anything and just got a refund. If you want anything, your best bet is the drive-thru. They need to work on their customer service because it's trash. I'm done with this location. This location makes the whole organization look bad. I'm not going to waste my time and money anymore. A piece of advice if you have five workers at a time, maybe give them designated stations. That way, all your customers are being serviced. Or maybe they just need leadership and guidance, and that could help with the disorganization.

This place is absolutely great; I loved all the coffee I tried there especially their Irish coffee.

Casey took my order. Amazing 6 shot coffee with caramel and jalapeño bagel. Until I spilled my large cup everywhere. I offered to clean it up, Casey immediately jumped into action and cleaned up the mess I made. Thanks bro. Great employees.. Chelsea made me my new coffee. Great spot!

Fast-friendly service! Serving ice and hot drinks from coffee to flavored drinks. They also have a plenitude & variety of snacks such as cookies. I ordered the Mai-Tai fuel (tropical heaven) and a Caramel Blondie (classic caramel coffee). The inside is modern and has Street fashion aesthetic. 5/5 delicious drinks!

I had to change my review from 4 to 1 star. They stop serving drip coffee around 2pm but stay open till 8pm. But what really made things bad for me was different. When I get an espresso drink I always order a small, add like 4-5 shots of espresso but, I say prepare it in a large cup so everything fits. I’m still paying for all the small ingredients but adding espresso would overflow the cup. When I made the order here, I watch the girl making my drink, and had to add more espresso cause the whole drip coffee thing but, she was about to add ice to my frap but I said oh it’s okay, I don’t want to water the espresso, so she made the drink and when she poured it into the lrg cup, she purposely didn’t fill the cup all the way up and left product that I paid for in the machine. I was like did she really play that game, when I paid for all the ingredients, on top of that there was no whip and she said the fraps don’t come with whip but the last time I got it came with whip. This was my third time coming here and it was not worth it. I rather travel farther to Starbucks cause they have never ripped me off for the added espresso.

From Alaska and on a coffee hunt! Black Rock was my 2nd attempt and became my number one spot in AZ. Iced shaken espresso with cold foam was close to what I get in Alaska. I went the next day and ordered caramel blonde. Delicious. Today I ordered kickstart cold brew. Service was fast and friendly. Today I went inside it was busy and the baristas were very professional, and enjoyed working. The cafe was very clean although attracted bees we were also told by staff about that.

Black Rock was good! I got an iced caramel blondie and a breakfast sandwich and both were so good. The coffee had the perfect balance. Smooth, not too sweet, and just strong enough to keep me going. It's also such a nice spot to get work done. Great vibes, comfy seating, and good lighting. Definitely a go to study cafe!

I have came multiple times and each time I come there is always a long wait with not that many cars. I went this morning and there was 4 cars in front of my and I had to wait 23 minutes before I got my coffee. That's more than 5 mins per cars. Maybe baristas need training or they are just simply taking their time. Not sure if I'll come back. There is Dutch down the street

I am a huge fan of the frozen fuels. However, this location has been disappointing with the food the last couple weeks. I have included a picture of what my ham and Swiss croissant looks like this morning. Also, the service is super slow at this location. I had hoped with time it would improve. I tend to see employees talking more than working and sometimes see them on their phones. The overall impression is a very disorganized location.

I feel I've given this location more than enough chances to get it right. Been there about 10 times. Dirty chai has been thoroughly underwhelming. Tip: use a better chai than Oregon. I can make that garbage at home for a lot less money. Iced coffee tastes like cold dishwater a coffee pot was washed in. That the drive-thru out. It worked the third day you were open. Never since. And how can you call that thing a bagel? Other locations have admittedly been much better both in Phoenix and Vancouver.

Stopped in for a quick coffee today, not too crowded in there, employees looked friendly with smiles on faces, it's good to see workers that enjoy jobs where they can laugh at their work place, I love their cold brew it's so smooth and rich, I always add vanilla and cream, never disappoints!

Great service! It was my first visit so I had to ask for a second to review the menu before I ordered. They were very accommodating. I'll be back for sure.

Excellent customer service: "HOPE" was incredibly kind and guided my friends and I in selecting what to order, as it was our first time for some of us. We were quite pleased with the outcome. I had an excellent refresher! Finally, It was a great atmosphere to hang out with friends so I warmly suggest this location!

This is my go to coffee spot! Whether if it's for a Jalapeño/ cheddar toasted bagel with cream cheese, or a white chocolate snickers... or an Irish coffee with coconut syrup this place always makes my drinks to taste. I am always greeted with great customer service and are understanding if my drink is accidentally made with coconut milk. The line is always short, and quick making every day a convenient spot to stop at. I have sat inside the coffee shop and love the inside environment, calm and peaceful ( especially when the patio door is opened up) Thanks black rock

The menu inside is pointless. It's so far you can't read it. Energy drinks suck. They are just a monster with some food coloring

I did the first time drive thru & felt so bad that I showed up few mins before closing, well not knowing because it was my first time. The baristas were so nice & even let us try one drink on the house. The 2nd time, I ordered online & picked up, it was quite nice & fast. I am definitely coming back, just wish there's lot more all over the valley esp in my new town I'm moving to.

I love this place!! The coffee is always to my liking and staff is always friendly and helpful.

My favorite location! My drinks are always delicious and the service is wonderful. I never miss a Tuesday for their $3 student and staff special!

Hit or miss :// last time I went I think they had someone training and made my coffee but she was very friendly ... but the coffee was a bit bitter however it was very clean inside and pretty .. still a good place for when I need a good coffee run instead of sbuxs

It would be nice if they close at the time they say they close at they're always closing early sometimes up to 30 minutes or more early. I understand employing kids but sometimes you need at least one adult on staff to make sure your business is Being ran to the standard it says it will be

I was excited to have a coffee spot nearby because it's slim pickings around here. However, I did expect kind, happy voices and personalities; like I get from my favorite place. Especially given its a coffee shop, I thought everyone would be perky because of the caffeine, I was wrong. LOL. I proceeded with my drive thru experience because you know, you're already in the drive through. I got a Carmel Truffle Iced Mocha and a Lemon Poppy Scone. The coffee was definitely caffeinated but that's the best I can say about it. The scone was sooooooooo dry it flaked all over. Maybe it was just one of the day olds, since I went later in the day. Because I could walk there from my house, maybe I'd go again. No promises.

Not the first time where they take forever because they don't want to use the mic to take orders. Got there at 7:25 pm with my kids in the back crying and they never decided to go outside to cut off the line like the competitors do to make sure they don't waste customers time. Finally got to the cashier at 8:05 and they told me no more orders as they close at 8 even if they just took an order at 8:00.... Coffee is overpriced and take like 15 min to complete an order. Not even a voucher was offered... i understand they have to go home but horrible customer service to say the least. Please train this location to do better!!

TAKE MY MONEY!! I have found this gem of GrubHub and now I have a new go to coffee spot. Totally worth it they have the largest cups of coffee I have seen for a reasonable price too. I had a "iced jackhammer" and my mom had a "hot Americano", with havelnut, almond milk, and stevia and the only regret was not adding extra hazelnut flavoring. She loves it! My sister got the Italian soda for the first time. She just said next time she won't add cream. But yes we WILL be ordering again, and soon.

food was ok. in order coffee and a burrito. which i tried to look at their menu and see what was in it and it does NOT say. It doesn't say either that its spicy. I couldn't eat it. Plus it was more of a hash burrito than eggs in it. So disappointed.

I came to the grand opening week every day for this location and came once a week since it has been open. But after my experience today, I will never return to this location. I waited in line for 30 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me and they would not take orders at the window. Finally got to the window and placed my order. I told the girl I was using the $2 drink card we received. She said we couldn't use it because it was for a different location. Okay, that's fine I had one left from their location so I changed my order and handed her the card. She brought over another girl and the girl said "we can't accept this anymore because it is expired" I showed her there is no expiration date written on the card and she said "yeah I know but we just stopped taking these". So I got my credit card back and left with no drinks and will never go back. Awful customer service. After waiting in line for 30 minutes with a screaming newborn wanting to get out of line but trapped, I couldn't even get my coffee to get me through the day. If you wanted the cards to expire, then write an expiration date.
