I placed an online order because I wanted to save time and just pick up my food. I ordered about 20–25 minutes before arriving. When I got there, I waited in line while the cashier took another customer’s order of three drinks. Once she finished, I told her I was there to pick up an online order. She handed me my food but said they were still working on my coffee.
I waited another 13–15 minutes, and during that time, the customer who ordered while I was waiting on my order, received her drinks before I did. When I went up to check on my order, the cashier simply said, “We’re working on it,” with no apology or sense of urgency.
The whole point of ordering ahead is convenience, but this experience was frustrating and disappointing. There was no communication or effort to make it right.
