Black Rock Coffee Bar

Been on a mission lately to find alternatives to Starbucks. First time trying Black Rock today. Ordered an Iced Caramel Blondie and it was really good. I received super-friendly and personable service from Sarah who was working the window. Even if the product wasn't that good, the service/experience is just as important. So many businesses have forgotten that. I'll definitely be back!!

High-quality coffee and super friendly, fast service! We tried the iced Caramel Blondie, the Mint Chocolate Chip Blender, and a breakfast burrito, all were absolutely delicious. Everything came out fresh and perfectly made.

First time here. The coffee was excellent and the large is actually large. We got the egg bites with gruyere and ham.

Finally decided to give this place a try after seeing it all the time and the drive thru was long so I left drive thru line & decided to go inside. No other customers inside just me. Only one girl inside with piercings all over her face servicing the drive thru only. Flirting with the guy she was servicing at the window asking what kind of work he did and what time does he get off. No wonder the line is so long. So after waiting for a bit I asked her is she only helping drive thru she said "Yes because I have to do all of drive thru first and then take lobby orders". I just left and went somewhere else, disgusting service.

Black Rock has been a growing coffee shop chain in Houston. Many stores are opening up all around the city. The store is filled with the scent of coffee the minute you enter. Cool decorations and a cozy environment invite you to have some coffee with your friends. I personally think they have better quality coffee than Starbucks, with a similar price point. I'm glad I got a free T-shirt today with my $15+ in-store purchase.

Since the first time I came here, I've truly enjoyed the service. The coffee is great (every thing I've tried so far) The people who work there are so exceptional, it gives the feeling of "can't wait to come back" There's not a location by my job, but when I'm free on the weekends, I always try to stop by. Not just for the coffee, but the service as well. Keep up the great work!

There seems to be a quality issue with this particular Black Rock Coffee location that I have not experienced at others. These were two separate orders from this location that both had issues. The single coffee was a large shaken espresso and I received it just as shown, with almost 1/3 of the drink missing! The two coffees and screenshot are for the order I received today where I paid $5.40 JUST in add-ons for extra cold foam in both and, as you can see, this is what paying for extra cold foam will get you here... I'll stick with the Dairy Ashford I10 location from now on.

Feels like Summer fuel is delicious! Service is always great! My fam and I have tried several drinks and 99% have been great. We always like to add cold foam and they can do flavored cold foam as well. 😊

Sarah in the morning love her sooo much she is such a gem . I appreciate how kind and how she remembers my face and we have great conversations. Please give my girl a raise. Btw the coffeee and food is amazing as well. Better than Starbucks. And the place is always quiet and clean. 10/10

First to review is cool. Dropped in for a quick study break. Staff is nice and helpful and playlist gave me all my early 2000s punk rock dreams. Clean store and relatively empty so it makes for a good meet up or study sesh. And my mocha was good. They also have a drive thru.

Love these mother fuckers. I went to a different location, they sucked. This one was great. My coffee came out A1. Bussin

rude employee at the drive thru,asked her for a coffee carrier as i purchased 3 drinks, she refused nd literally shut the drive thru window as i was about to ask for napkins. terrible service
