Fantastic place and right near the subway so perfect for a grab and go. Service is fast and friendly and you can see the staff making fresh bagels regularly in the back. There’s about 4-5 tables to sit. Their veggie bagel are what dreams are made of - so many fresh crunchy veggies and the capers add such a nice twist to it. It’s my favorite veggie bagel I’ve had in a long time.

Google
Delicious and filling bagel sandwiches!! (Fave was the BEC) The bagels here are a mix of NY/Montreal style! The bagels themselves are not too thick and have a great crispy crust. Staff is really friendly. I’m excited for a new bagel place in the neighborhood!

This was my third time stopping by Black Seed, I’ve never been to any of their other locations but honestly I’m impressed. As a local New Yorker born & raised in Queens, I have high expectations for my bagels but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that their bagels are absolutely delicious. So far I’ve had the BEC 9/10, Plain with Cream Cheese & Bacon 1000/10 and then a Sausage Egg & Cheese solid 9/10. I encourage you guys to check them out, bagels are perfectly toasted. Also, Doug and Derek at the front are the absolute sweetest. Oh and please try their cookies!!!

Google
The best bagel place in the city! Kind genuine young lady at the counter with beautiful name and adorable smile! She was so sweet to me and my son 🤍 Thank you for making our morning and spread the joy, will be our ritual to stop by on Sundays now 🌸🌿

A welcome addition to the neighborhood since Hunters Point was severely lacking good bagel options. A love that they're a dog-friendly establishment. There's limited seating for about 8 people and there are a couple tables out on the sidewalk. I ordered takeout and had the sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel and an iced cold brew. Both were delicious. My only gripe was their limited cream cheese options. Would love to see Jalapeño cream cheese added to the menu! 😋 (Also they charged 50 cents to add ice to my coffee which I thought was a bit absurd 🤷🏻‍♂️)

Google
Stuff is super friendly and they somehow have the best cappuccino which I wasn’t expecting from a bagel shop. GF bagels are also so good and have clean ingredients. The only thing I would recommend that the spreads could be used a little more.. I found the portion size pretty small for such a price point

Google
Small shop, big bites lemme tell you. I ordered the pastrami on an everything bagel EXTRA toasted and here are my thoughts: How do you double toast something and it’s still crunchy AND soft? The sandwich was amazing, wish I had took a picture of it too because it was stacked. Pastrami was fresh, cheese was fresh. 10/10 experience. Will be returning.

Google
It is disappointing that a staff member decided it was ok to wrap up this burnt bagel and serve it to a customer rather than spend another 5 minutes making a new one. Unfortunately, it’s time for me to find a new local bagel shop.

Yelp
Wow! I'm pretty picky about my bagels, and this location has such fresh, crispy exterior soft interior, perfectly seasoned everything bagels. Their bacon egg and cheese looked and tasted beautiful and their hazelnut latte was also great (perfectly slightly sweet).

Yelp
It's a weekend treat for my partner and I to order coffee and split a bagel sandwich here. I timed our order and from the time of placing the order and getting our sandwich it was 11 minutes on a Sunday morning, and the coffee comes out instantly. I enjoy BSB's bagels - the right amount of crispiness and doughy-ness. Their everything bagel is a bit garlicky, so I prefer their plain bagels especially when ordering a sandwich. I will say my favorite part of the bagel sandwiches here are their eggs. They are cooked so perfectly!!

Yelp
Obsessed with these bagels! If you can grab one hot out of the oven you won't be sorry. So much seasoning and the bagels are very light and fresh. I don't love their cream cheese but I just get them as is and add mine at home.

Yelp
Super disappointed. Came in excited for a bagel and looking for a spot closer than utopia bagels. I got a lightly toasted everything bagel with veggie cc. The bagel came out after a few min. There was no seasoning left of the bagel - literally no flavor. Probably one of the blandest everything bagels I've had. I could deal with that if there was a normal amount of cc. Look at the photos and see the tiny amount put into the bagel. So much dough, so little cc. Not sure if this was an off day or what... but i probably won't come back again because of the lack of cc. Super disappointing because the staff and inside were nice.

Yelp
The bagels here are delicious! It's different from your average bagel and that's the best part! I ordered through UberEats for pickup. Our order was accurate and ready on time. We had turkey, cheese and egg as well as the Boca with multigrain bagel. It's a relatively small place but they do have some seating. We just did pickup. It's also relatively affordable. If you are looking for a quick, delicious breakfast, check this place out!

Yelp
Solid bagel spot! I live pretty close so it's super convenient to order one online and grab to go. Honestly solid place nothing mind blowing but a good go to. Staff are friendly and it's usually kind of empty so you can grab a seat.

Yelp
Really good bagel. Nice crunch, tender dough and the dough has a good flavor. I got an everything bagel with vegi cream cheese and sliced tomato. There was plenty of "everything" coating the bagel and the bagel was well toasted. The vegi cream cheese had diced vegis in a creamy base and was outstanding. My one disappointment was paying $1.50 for a slice of tomato. That seems a bit much. And there are no onion bagels on the menu. Wonder why it's so hard to find an onion bagel. The staff were working hard and seemed to be processing the many orders very efficiently.

Yelp
I live in LIC and could never find a good bagel spot, so I'm thrilled that Black Seed opened here! Their bagels are super solid, great texture, tastes fresh, and just the right size. My favorite flavors are the cinnamon raisin and everything bagel. The Boca comes with avocado, tomato, and eggs and cheese - a perfect light meal! Their cream cheese is also really unique- feels somehow more whipped and fresh than store bought. Love this spot and can't wait to be back!

Yelp
It was a very Strange experience. I go in and order one everything bagel cut in half. Which I though is the easiest order in the world you dont have to toast it you dont have to put anything on it you simply just cut it one time and put it in a bag. I sat there waiting for 25 mins watching people that came in after me get there orders. When she finally gave me my order she realized how nuts this was and was like I am so sorry. I just nodded my head and left. There is no way in the world I would go back there again.

Yelp
I'd give this place a 3.5, overall decent bagels but definitely not one of the best. I feel like the loch bagel, which is a classic, wasn't that flavorful and also didn't have as much salmon as I wanted. We also got a pastrami salmon (classic 2.0) which was actually much better. It had some pickled vegetables that gave the bagel a kick, but still wish there was more salmon.

Yelp
Hands down one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a restaurant. I waited over 40 minutes for 2 bagels, while customers who ordered after me were getting their orders before me. The staff was extremely unhelpful, and were very clearly incapable of handling a weekend morning. I finally received my order only for it to be incorrect, and mislabeled (allergen risk). The egg sandwich was very cold, indicating it was laying around for quite some time, and the taste was incredibly flawed. For a place that charges $13 for an egg sandwich and produces bush-league bagels, I would never recommend going here, to anyone.

Yelp
Grand opening!! I got an everything bagel toasted with chive cream cheese and it was yummy. There wasn't much of a wait when ordering and there's a couple of indoor seating options. Definitely worth checking it out!

Yelp
Wednesday Morning slow service (counted only 3 workers). Maybe it was just a bad day but ended up waiting 25 minutes for two bagels. It felt like the employees prioritized taking orders over fulfilling them. The queue grew pretty quickly and up to 10 groups were left waiting a lot longer than they probably should have. The bagels were good but I can't see myself coming back unless I have an hour to kill or they up their headcount.

Yelp
For a $18 salmon breakfast sandwich it was pretty disappointing. I ordered it on a salted bagel, lightly toasted and it was definitely days old and crunchy. Won't be ordering again.

Yelp
Walked in on a weekday mid-morning, not busy. The cashier never greeted me, never even looked at me, then walked to the back leaving me standing there. Not too many things make me feel invisible, but this did it. I walked out. Not returning, many friendlier places in LIC happy to have my business.

Yelp
Love this place! Team is friendly, helpful, and attentive. When it's busy, they communicate with customers about their orders. The staff is efficient and pack my bagels to go with care. Bagels are delicious! My go to order is the BEC. Definitely will keep coming back.

Yelp
I went to this new place called black seed for a breakfast bagel and was very disappointed with the quality of the bagels, flavor and price. I think I'm going to stick with Bricktown bagels. This is actually the 2nd bagel shop to open on 50th avenue in the last year, the other one closed and is now Starbucks. I bet in a few months this place will be Dunkin Donuts.

Yelp
Delicious! So happy to have a new bagel spot. If you want a huge fluffy bagel, that isn't their style. But they're delicious, crispy and lots of amazing menu options for sandwiches and spreads. We did a sausage egg cheese and a veggie bagel, both perfect.
