I really wanted to like this place, especially after seeing so many positive reviews on social media. I stopped by specifically to try the Dubai chocolate strawberries, and they were actually pretty good--I'd definitely try them again, though maybe from somewhere else next time.
The interior could use a little TLC. The menus looked worn and could use a good wipe-down. It felt like the shop was juggling a lot at once--overnight oats, cakes in the cooler (which didn't look particularly fresh), and some fried items. I tried one of the fried goods, but it wasn't fresh at all--I couldn't even finish it.
I also ordered a chicken bowl, but unfortunately, it was underwhelming. The chicken didn't taste fresh, and the overall presentation just wasn't appetizing--I didn't even feel compelled to take a photo, which says a lot.
The staff were polite, though they seemed more engaged in their own conversation than with customers. Still, I appreciated their pleasant demeanor.
It's a shame because the place seemed so promising, but I don't think I'd try any of the other food offerings. Hopefully, they can tighten things up, because the concept and buzz are definitely there.
