Fresh and flavorful: amazing strawberry matcha + falafel bowl!! 🍓 Black Seed Cafe is an absolute gem. The Strawberry Matcha was so delicious- the best I’ve ever had. Smooth, perfectly sweet, and super refreshing. I also tried the Falafel Bowl and it was bursting with flavor and color: crispy falafel, fresh ingredients, and just the right balance of textures. Everything tasted homemade and full of love. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for amazing food, great drinks, and warm vibes!

I had such a wonderful experience at Black Seed Café! This Palestinian-owned gem instantly made me feel welcome with its warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff are incredibly nice, very communicative, and provide truly top-notch service. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. And the food and drinks — absolutely amazing! Everything is made with genuine flavors that really stand out. You can taste the authenticity and love in every bite and sip. From the rich, perfectly spiced dishes to the fresh, flavorful drinks, everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Black Seed Café to anyone looking for a great spot with delicious food, fantastic service, and an atmosphere that feels like home. Stopped in and got a coffee, a couple things from their warm ready to go station and the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. Everything was delicious!! I plan on bringing my hubby back so he can try some things too. To good!

Stopped by after a 12,000 step hike and was so glad I did, everything looked and tasted so good! Will definitely be returning soon to try everything else on the menu also, they have so many options so there’s something for everyone! I also tried a friend’s falafel and it’s some of the best I’ve ever had.

Food and drinks all efficiently done, super well seasoned, and easy to seat yourself. All our food came in to go wrap/ packaging which seems really convenient for a lunch hour situation, but there was enough seating around to make it comfy to sit. Mural inside is beautiful and my bowl came topped with so much goodness that itll probably work out as 2 meals for me

THIS IS THE BEST HIDDEN GEM THAT SHOULDN'T BE HIDDEN!! Everytime i come here i am met with the most friendly employees! the creme brûlée iced latte is my absolute favorite! The dubai crossiant is the most flavorful yet flakey and buttery crossiant i’ve had! i got the privilege to try a few new items as well but i didn’t catch the name of them! one was a bread with lots of flavor it was suprinsingly the best item i got! then there is a hot dog in a bread as well it was very good, definitely great food picky eaters! this is a great place to bring the family or friends, the atmosphere is very safe and welcoming! highly recommend stopping in!!

We got a chicken shawarma bowl and a chicken gyro and they were sooooooo good! Great price too! The staff was so much fun and treated us well! 10/10 would recommend!

Paid nearly $40 for large Dubai chocolate strawberry cups and was very disappointed. Strawberries were mushy and the pistachio cream tasted artificial, not like real pistachio butter. I’ve had these at many other places for the same price and the quality here doesn’t compare. Staff were friendly, but I wouldn’t come back.

"Welcome" is the first thing i heard when I walked in the door of this little gem. And that "welcomed" feeling stuck with me through the entire experience of this home-cooked, Palestinian meal. The girls behind the counter were friendly. The decor piqued my attention as I waited for food - articles about Palestine, beautiful pictures, and a wonderful painting on the wall that only reinforced that feeling I had of being with friends and family for a meal. On top of all that, the falafel bowl was spectacular. Packed with my favorite flavors, light yet filling, and enough for 2 or 3 meals, it was a treat for the tastebuds. If you're near this place, try it. If you're far from this place, make the drive, it'll be worth it. I already can't wait to be "welcomed" at Black Seed for my next meal.

I came here with a friend for two reasons: try their coffee and try their strawberry dubai cups. I have since been back for the dubai cup and the Turkish delight. We actually sat inside to drink our coffees. The coffee options, if you're getting one of the flavored lattes, are quite sweet. The strawberry dubai chocolate cup is very sweet, aa is to be expected, but tasty. The strawberries tasted fresh and pair well with the pistachio cream and chocolate. We also opted for some savory pastries to cut through the sweetness and it was a good choice. Overall what we tried was rich and sweet in the best way.

Friendly and quick staff. All their coffee drinks are so good. They have such fun seasonal flavors. I got the chicken pita and my husband got the beef Schwarma. I actually liked his better but still enjoyed mine! The pita is nice and warm and soft. Don't sleep on the pies either. For the cost, you can't afford not to try them!

I really wanted to like this place, especially after seeing so many positive reviews on social media. I stopped by specifically to try the Dubai chocolate strawberries, and they were actually pretty good--I'd definitely try them again, though maybe from somewhere else next time. The interior could use a little TLC. The menus looked worn and could use a good wipe-down. It felt like the shop was juggling a lot at once--overnight oats, cakes in the cooler (which didn't look particularly fresh), and some fried items. I tried one of the fried goods, but it wasn't fresh at all--I couldn't even finish it. I also ordered a chicken bowl, but unfortunately, it was underwhelming. The chicken didn't taste fresh, and the overall presentation just wasn't appetizing--I didn't even feel compelled to take a photo, which says a lot. The staff were polite, though they seemed more engaged in their own conversation than with customers. Still, I appreciated their pleasant demeanor. It's a shame because the place seemed so promising, but I don't think I'd try any of the other food offerings. Hopefully, they can tighten things up, because the concept and buzz are definitely there.

I came across this place on TikTok. A user posted a review of this place. And I knew I had to try it out. The decode is very nice. And well thought out. The staff were extremely friendly. And very busy. I ordered the Beef Shawarma wrap along with onion rings. I topped it off with some type of dessert. A strawberry and chocolate concoction. The beef shawarma was beyond delicious. It was very flavorful with plenty of toppings inside. The onion rings were cooked to perfection The strawberry concoction was awesome. It had a green color chocolate. I found out it was pistachio chocolate. Delicious is what I called it. You have to get here and try this place. You won't be disappointed.

Great little place we found!! My daughter got the Biscoff latte with cold foam. She loved it. I got the Dubai Strawberry Cup. Awesome! $18 for a large and I loved every bite!! It was worth it to me!! And the server was very friendly and helpful.

I now understand what the hype is about this place. I tried their Dubai strawberries at this years Suhoor festival and they were delectable. The strawberries were super fresh and bursting with flavor and then with the chocolate it took the strawberries to another level.

This place has quickly become a household favorite and I've gotten tons of friends to try it out. First off the popular Dubai Strawberry cups are amazing and have become a local staple. They literally have long lines of people to get the cup or the Dubai chocolate and it's worth the wait...sometimes they sell out. But don't let that distract because they have an array of yummy drinks to try from match to coffee specialties as the food is one of the most flavorful Mediterranean dishes we've had. The chicken schwarma literally is more than enough for 2 meals because they give so much and the gyros are huge and so tasty. We haven't gone wrong with anything here and with it being so close we have easily become regulars. Service is always great with very kind young ladies running the front and older adults the back. Great family environment

Cute hangout spot for coffee and dessert with friends and family. I love the fact this is Palestinian owned. Been wanting to try this place out since it opened. Glad we did. Will comeback and try food next time.

The second you step in to black seed cafe and grill, the ambience was beautiful and takes you back overseas. Additionally, the painting on the wall was beautiful! (See photos attached) They have a wide variety of special coffee drinks (knafa definitely caught me off guard, but in a good way). I ordered the chicken shawarma and beef shawarma wrap sandwich. Took an average amount of time. The sandwiches tasted great and were fully loaded and not dry like a lot of other places I've ordered them at. They were decent overall with the taste though. Would come back and try the other options!

This place is amazing. I stopped here because it was mentioned as one of the best places to go. I didn't think it was going to be perfect...it was. The staff was very friendly. I asked for a suggestion on drinks. Biscoff Latte was recommended and was on point with taste. The drink didn't last long. The broccoli you would think would be basic, it wasn't. I added some of the lemon juice from the wedge in there and I was quick to eat it. The gyro was huge and delicious. I couldn't finish it. There was an eye appealing dessert. A strawberry cup with chocolate and pistachio sauce. There was even a crunching topping that looked like cheese on top but wasn't. I'm not sure what it was but it added texture to it that made it even more irresistible. The location had about nine tables with a counter along the window for viewing outside if you choose to eat in. I had taken my home. I think I found a new place to frequent. I'm beyond excited about finding this place.

I went to Black Seed yesterday (Thursday) evening and it wasn't too busy. It's a really beautiful cafe and comfortable atmosphere. There was music but it wasn't too loud. I got the falafel sandwich and my mom got the chicken shawarma. I've had a lot of falafel sandwiches in my 40 years of life but there's no contest. This one was the absolute best I've ever had. Fresh and warm falafel, perfect amount of sauce, crispy, a little spicy and a little tangy but never overwhelming. My mom loved her meal as well. We were both full and saved the last 1/4 of the sandwiches for later. A few hours later, still amazing! Yesterday was my first time going to Black Seed and it was so good, were going back today! This picture doesn't do it justice.

Great food, best chicken shawarma I've had in a long time. Nice quiet little restaurant, good service and good prices. I'll be back for sure.

Very friendly staff that explained everything very well. I liked the design inside the decorations were very nice. The Dubai strawberry was made with fresh juicy strawberries and the chocolate was warm and the knafeh was so airy with the subtle crunches like a treat from heaven. tasted very delicious!

Had the best time here today! I went and got the strawberry dubai chocolate cup I saw all over tik tok and it didn't disappoint. The cafe itself was so cute, and there were a good amount of people there. The employee who helped me was so cute and nice. I got the large which was $18 so definitely pricy but tbh the small business deserves it. I can't wait to go back and try more!

price- too expensive, especially with service fees and delivery fees included in the total price. $63 for a meal, drink, and dessert for one person is too much imo. delivery time/ status updates- delivery was delayed 30 mins and received no status updates until i called in asking.

I arrived late on a Sunday evening in hopes of grabbing a couple of the Dubai strawberry cups; unfortunately they were so popular that day, they were out of the cups, but instead she convinced me to try the homemade Dubai chocolate! (I think she said someone from New York makes it fresh and overnight ships...?) It was a delicious alternative! She was super sweet and suggested that if I was able to call ahead next time, she would even try to have more cups ready. Unfortunately, I do not live very close to the restaurant, but I will make it a point to stop by every time I am out that way! Definitely check them out!

Customer service was soooo good. Everyone was very friendly. I talked to the barista and cashier for ten minutes while I waited for my food. I got the Mint Lemonade with peach and it was literally one of the best drinks l've ever had. You could taste everything. Nothing got lost. It was so so fresh. Then I tried the Lavender Honey latte. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely amazing. The Kanafa was even better. I literally had to stop for a minute just to process what I was tasting. My mom got the falafel bowl and it was perfect. All the flavors were amazing. Food was 100000/10. Drinks were a CO/10. Customer service was 1000000/10. Not even to mention the interior. It was absolutely beautiful. Not a spec of dirt anywhere. You are absolutely crazy if you don't want to go here. Please please pleaseeeeeee go here. New favorite cafe and restaurant. Have a great day to whoever is reading this!!

My daughter and I just had the MOST AMAZING MEAL EVER!!!!!! The place sends me back to old Jerusalem with the pictures in the walls, Saada the owner who is also the chef is amazing, I have always loved her food ever since she was cooking for the wedding venues. She cooks with heart and her soul she puts everything in her amazing meals, I ordered the beef sharwarma bowl everything is so beautifully put in this bowl I honestly didn't know how to start it. Her little details like the chair in the corner her plants her little details on the tables and that beautiful mural on the wall. She really put her soul in this place and it shows!!!!!!! They are so kind and respectful and especially know their menu, like I have always said I will not recommend any place I haven't tried and liked this place I freaking LOVE, looking for old fashion middle eastern food made with heart soul and love this is your place. She caters she will take any order small big or huge she got this and she will make the old fashion way and with love plz come and at least try it you will love it as much as I do.

All of the food is amazing from the bowls to the shawarmas to the falafel and the bread. The coffee is amazing too I crave it, especially the biscoff latte. Staff is so kind, they always make you feel welcome! The decor is sooo beautiful!!

We got the chicken shawarma bowl it was great,fresh and delicious and the rice was actually flavorful. We also tried the spinach pies and they were so good we took two more Togo. Prices were really decent and decor was nice. Only gave 4/5 stars because it was a little slow only one person working but once it got chaotic two more came to help her.

Ordered off the too good to go app and was so happy with my surprise box. Friendly workers assisted my mom with her online order. It's perfect for people wanting to explore different flavors. The meat pie was delicious and filled generously. I will definitely be a return customer.

I had such a great meal there last week I decided to get some food for my husband and I last night. I ordered the same thing but what I got wasn't at all like my first great meal there. The meat was hard and overcooked. The hummus was sour tasting and no pita chips or pita bread came with it. It was extremely disappointing.

I visited today because I'm excited to see a local option on this end of town. My hope was that I simply LIKED it. I wasn't expecting to be blown away. First of all, it's absolutely adorable in there. I ordered the falafel bowl and the mint lemonade. Both were knock-your-socks-off good. The falafel was the best I've ever had and the bowl had so much interest and flavor to it. The mint lemonade was a nice foil for those flavors. So happy to have found this place and look forward to being a regular.
