Great meats! First time trying them and the steak was wonderful and their prices are very very good! I wouldn't buy meat anywhere else. These prices beat everywhere else's. The Tommy hawk steak and the NY strips were superb!! Customer service was excellent!!

I not only enjoyed the excellent customer service, but the price and quality were unmatched. Though they were out of smoked turkey meat when I came, they assured me that I could come the next morning. There’s nothing like fresh cut meat at lower than market prices and it’s Black Owned 🙌🏽

I absolutely love this place. Good people, love the service the meets are always fresh! And they have a second store a couple of doors down that sale a lot of other foods there also. Money well spent 👌🏾

heard about this place for a long time . finally made my way up here and there were about a few workers in the front . of course no one greeted me or said hello . i walked around for a few then some older woman came in , they spoke to them . I would work on treating all customers the same and not pick and choose on you to speak to and who not based off appearance. i look a lot younger but im 40 . Went to check out the lady spoke but seemed forced . The prices are good . I'd consider returning to give it another go. could have been an off day i guess .

I have been shopping here for meat for a year now. The meat was never frozen. Now when I purchase the meat it's frozen. The manager stated over the phone, it ships like that an we take ice weight off when weighing the meat. I knew that wasn't true since I watched the guy weigh it with out taking anything off. They put the meat in a red bag so when I got home I realized the meat had alot of fat on the oxtail. I called up there an the lady acted as if she didn't know they use red bags for the meat assuming I should have seen the meat before purchase because the bags are clear. She asked me to send her some pictures and I didn't hear from her again. I will not be back. I spent 25$ on what I thought was 2lbs of oxtail an this is what I got. She said there was no ice weight though. Becareful out here with your hard earned money.

Black Sheep Market is hands down the best spot in Greenville! The turkey necks had more meat than anywhere else, and the chicken wings were phenomenal—clean, perfectly sized, and fried up beautifully. I also grabbed some flounder to fry tomorrow. Great quality meats at a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely be back!

It was my first time there. I went based on high recommendations for lamb chops, and oxtail, meat outside of the usual found in grocery stores. Upon entry, my daughter and I were met with a warm welcome. The store did not smell of blood not was it super cold like some markets do to hide the smell. . T an array of meats that have been hard to find in Greenville (I'm new here ). The workers were very accommodating. I want to separate big packs of meat to share ( my daughter and I shop together ). He did it with out any attitude or annoyance. The prices were great. I will return each month. Great experience for a first-time shopper.

They have wonderful meats. Got beef stew- tender as can be, ground beef is super. Found this place by accident, the name intrigued me, so I tried it and was not disappointed. Will be there often

Stopped in here before the holidays and we picked up a beautiful prime rib. Staff were very helpful and we will be back. They have a great selection.

I can't speak highly enough about our experience with Black Sheep. Got a whole pig for Xmas but ended up getting covid. They were able to shift on a dime to help us postpone our party plans and everything worked out wonderfully. HIGHLY recommend for special events and everyday grub.

Quality meat and great customer service. I shop here first before I go to any of the big box supermarkets.

Our go-to butcher. My husband goes at least once a week. Our go to's are the pork chops (cut to your preferred thickness on the spot) and the strip steaks. Incredible prices and friendly service!

This butcher shop kicks ass. Friendly service, great selection, family business. Better prices than any grocer in town on fresh meat and seafood.
