Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer - Miami

When you think of a classic American burger, you may think it’s basic; but there was nothing basic of this American burger! The cheese was creamy, the lettuce was crispy, the tomato was just right. My husband had the wagyu burger and he loved it, his beer was ice cold. The cinnamon bun shake was amazingly delicious! We had never had a waiter like Chris. He was so attentive and made sure to check on us often. He was either attending other customers or doing other productive things. Never did I see him not working, he's definitely a great employee. The atmosphere was just great, not too dark, not too bright. The tables were the perfect size and spaced out perfectly. The barrel side tables had an amazing architectural design. This is definitely not just a burger place.

Ana served us and was wonderful. Ana checked on us often and our drinks never went dry. The food was great. I tried the new cauliflower burger and it was tasty. The only thing that didn't go well was the hostess that sat us. The shorter young lady hosting does not need a front of house role. I still gave five stars as thankfully we only had to interact with the hostess quickly. The next hostess, tall young lady, was wonderful.

Such good food! Incredible ambiance and good vibes. Elvis was definitely the best! He provided such a great service which made the experience even better! He helped in making our food choices which were outstanding! Thank you so much Elvis at Black Tap Miami !

Somehow, I managed to order the blandest items on the menu. A New England style IPA with minimal hops, despite the haze. The - All American Burger - lacking in seasoning, bring on Frikadelle. The accompanying gherkin was quite simply horrible. They make their own, I was told. A pickle without vinegar, a rethink required.

I had a great experience at Black Tap. The service was excellent from the start; the Hostess greeted us warmly. We were initially seated at a table that was too cold due to the AC, but our server Carlos was very attentive and moved us to a more comfortable spot. The food was a pleasant surprise, especially for comfort food. The BT Hot Chicken was my favorite—the fried chicken was just perfect. The Street Corn Nachos and fried mozzarella were also fantastic. The main courses took a bit longer to arrive due to some kitchen issues, but it was worth the wait. The modern street hip-hop decor added to the overall vibe. Definitely a place I would visit again.

10 out of 10! Everything was just perfect, from the food, to the service and the ambience. Extra points for our server, Ana! She was very informative and friendly. A sweetheart really. I am not exaggerating when I say she turned the whole experience, which was already great, into a truly an unforgettable one! Also, best Dulce de leche milkshake my wife and I ever had! We ended up having to order two of those bad boys since the first one delighted us so much.

Really enjoyed our lunch here! Chris was an awesome and helpful server, burgers were amazing and delicious onion rings. You can tell they make things from scratch. And the crazy shakes are a must. Will definitely try to come back next time we’re in Miami!

We waited a long time for the opportunity to dine at Black Tap. We read wonderful reviews of the New York restaurant and looking forward to trying the Brickell location. So here we go….. reservation can be made on Open Table (4⭐️) we were greeted by Cathy and seated quickly. She even came by later on to see how we liked everything (5⭐️). Our server Natalia B came over in record time very responsive and and delightful to speak with. She provided a great dining experience from start to finish (5⭐️). Water and drinks come to our table in good time and have to say the pricing on the drinks were much better than I expected. Kettle One, Martini $11 (5⭐️) The food: we ordered the award winning Wagu SteakHouse burger and the Old Fashion Burger. We ordered both medium and they came out well done, good flavor and juicy on the Steakhouse not so much on the Old Fashion. The brioche bun was perfect and should always be used for cheeseburgers. The pickle needed more time pickling as it tasted like a cucumber. And the horseradish sauce needed a spice kick and I had to order extra horseradish and I was charged $1. Fries are standard and salted. The food gets (2 1/2 ⭐️) We sat close to the open kitchen and can see how new and slightly disorganized they are. I would say this is growing pains since they just opened. It should get much better through time. The manager Eric came by the tables to see how our dinning experience was and as you know not many other restaurants do that (5⭐️) FYI they add 20% tip automatically which I don’t feel is appropriate! I mean where is the incentive to go above and beyond if you know you’ll get 20% regardless (1⭐️) ultimately it’s about the food. I would think once they have more time it will improve thus the 3⭐️) on the total experience almost 4⭐️)

Visited this place while I was waiting for my movie to start. It's a burger spot inside the Bricknell mall. They also have a dessert bar inside I wish I would have tried it. Anywho I ordered a black bean burger, and a espresso martini. Service was average. My waitress was friendly but nothing to write home about. The burger was good and theh offer a large portion size. The espresso martini was pretty good but I think I'd probably prefer it standard not frozen it was on the overly sweet side. The aesthics of the restaurant are cute and it's kind of an open concept. Overall if you're waiting on your movie this is a good place to grab a bite.

Just an ok experience here. Kind of turned off by the waitress. Neither warm not friendly...all business. In Miami's cutthroat competitive restaurant scene, you really can't afford to do this. I had a salad which was ok and my friend had a burger. Neither was memorable. Doubtful I'd return.

I don't even eat burgers, but I couldn't get enough here! I totally understand why this place has won so many awards. The food and drinks were GREAT- reasonably priced, generous portions, amazing quality. Great stop during shopping at city center! I came for a dinner deal, but loved the look of their happy hour menu deals!! The service was fast and attentive, which complimented this super thoughtfully decorated interior.

Great service, chill vibe, and good food. The drinks and shake were okay, nothing to brag about on my opinion. My friend and I had the cookies and cream shake, espresso martini and the Paloma. The food entrees we ordered which were AMAZING were: the wagyu burger and ITS NOT SO JENNIFER salad that came with marinated kale, quinoa, vegan feta, cucumbers, diced red onion, pistachio, mint, parsley, lemon zest, red wine vinaigrette and you can add grilled chicken. I'll like to go back to try their other food options.

Came here once to try it. The food was good, but one thing that really upsets me is the automatic tip added to the bill for a single diner. I don't mind tipping 20% if I feel it's deserved but making it automatic means you LOST my business for good. Bad business decision. It not that I'm cheap, I just don't like being forced to tip 20% automatically when I'm dining alone for lunch. No wonder this place was empty!!

What a beautiful restaurant, it feels like you are being transported to NYC. I came with my kids and our waiter Chris was awesome and so patient with us. We started off with appetizers, the chicken tenders, mozzarellas sticks, and the nachos. I was OBSESSED with the chicken tenders, so moist and tender. For our entree we tried the wagyu burger. It was incredible and so much flavor. The boys had the Texan burger and they enjoyed it. We ended our dinner with some delicious milk shakes. We ordered the cookies and crème and the Brooklyn blackout. Absolutely yummy. It was a great experience and the food was great.

Nice outdoor sitting area just outside of the CMX movie theater. Perfect for pre or post movie bites and drinks -- plus they have an insanely delicious looking shake menu (the Key Lime Pie CRAZYSHAKE is next on my list of must-try's). We ordered the Street Corn Nachos which came with an extra side of the sauce and was absolutely delicious! A little spicy, mildly cheesy, and the thinly sliced radishes were an interesting addition to the crunchy chips. Should have ordered the shots after the nachos because they were delicious and would have been the perfect complement to the salty nachos. Service was great - quick, friendly, attentive but not overly intrusive. Definitely worth checking out -- especially if you need to refuel for shopping or date night!

I had super super high expectations for this place because of the hype about this place being from New York and Singapore. But I was slightly disappointed. The actual restaurant is beautiful, super retro feel and nice TV's and lights and music. The drinks were very average, super sweet and not balanced. We got two completely different cocktails and they tasted very similar and very sugary. I think if the cocktails were better made, this place would have a higher rating! The staff was very kind and did everything they could to help us get different sauces and sides and etc. The food, we got the burger with the pepper jack cheese and the string onions and the spicy fried chicken. Both food items were good, but not mind blowingly great. I think their sauces are good. Hoping that we just came on an off day and that the quality improves!

Nice location! Service was amazing. I love that they offer "low carb" meaning no bun option. Even though I fell for their crazy shakes and ordered one! No regrets though. I want to go back for their happy hour.

I lived in NYC for a year and never got to try black tap, when I saw it in Brickell city Center I thought perfect! But when I tell you, it's the most perfect burger!! If you are craving a burger you need to Come here!! Next time I will get the all American. Our server was so sweet and really knew the menu even though they have only been open for 2 weeks. The crazy shake was delicious. I also loved the booth seating they had. And the fries!!! So good!! Perfect fry!! I will definitely be back

Mexico City burger with chili fries- burger lacked flavor no spice fries were over seasoned and the dill sauce was not a good pairing with the dry rub that comes on the fries Brooklyn brownie dessert- so good definitely for sharing the brownie was just right not to dry not to chewy massive amount of whip cream

It was our first time here! The ambiance was nice it's located in the Brickell City Center next to the theater. We had Ethan as our server, he was very attentive and made suggestions with food and beverages. The food was hot and delicious we can't complain there. I think the only issue I could really see was it is slightly pricey other than that pretty decent.

Excellent fried spicy chicken sandwich! Sweet potato fries wasn't as crispy as the regular fries but everything else was perfect: great service, extensive menu, and delicious burgers.

I sat at the bar , and chose the wagyu steakhouse burger which was really delicious , a Florida man IPA and regular fries. Great meal, fun atmosphere and ambience, didn't try the milkshake bar but it looks outrageous. Really friendly customer service which is rare in Miami and specifically Brickell, hope they keep it up. For maybe $10 -15 more than shake shack you get a lot of bang for your buck. I'd go back

We had time to kill before our hotel room was ready so we wandered over to the mall to find food. The atmosphere of this place just looked really chill and a burger sounded nice. We were greeted quickly and asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor. We chose indoor for the AC. There was only one other occupied table so we received the most excellent service! The burgers were fantastic and our sodas stayed full!

Just recently went for a quick bite and it was so good!! Our waiter Carlos was so nice and attentive, he let us know all the specials and deals. The restaurant was so cool, it was a New York base vibe (really good music) I got a shake, chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks, 10/10

Bartender was great food was good but the service before you walk in is not that good...... I walked around before I walked in .....she wasn't very nice

Server was rude, and like most places, she doesn't feel obligated to do her job .. because the tip is already included in the bill. Also - I had something I ordered, and did not like it after trying it. She refused to take it off my bill. Probably not because she gets more of a tip automatically , when the bill is higher .. right?

Finally!!! I haven't had a good burger since I lived in NYC. My God this is by far the best burger you can get in miami!! I've been to black tap in NY also but they had some new items here in miami. Wow I'm in love

The shakes are amazing but I have to say, it was the staff that was so impressive. We've had better service. EVER. They employees seem genuinely happy to be here and want you to have the best experience. It was so heartening!

Absolutely phenomenal. Between Carlos's excellent service and the food quality being stellar, I would recommend to anyone in need of a moderate priced meal that serves deliciousness.

Burger was just ok. Onion ring on the burger was pretty raw and too big to eat on the burger without smashing it. Mango mule tasted like a small amount of water over a pile of sugar. Good beer selection. Service was attentive and I was seated right away. Bar stool was pretty uncomfortable. Interior was well decorated and shakes are definitely worth getting if you come hungry.

I just took my family to the the one located at Brickell City Centre, I have to say the place looks nice, but the quality of the food was barely ok, what was extremely bad was the service, they took extremely long time and part of the order arrived when we were already done with the burgers. I tried to complaint about the service (they added 20% tip) but the manager just gave me a bad attitud, said that the service was always good and that no matter what I had to pay that 20%, he even threatened with calling security, I would never go back to that restaurant.... I truly believe that the tip should be according to the quelity of the service and not just a fee even when the service, like in this case, was AWFUL.

I love this place. I have tried black Tap in other locations (Dubai, Vegas, and NY) my favorite dishes is chicken Ceaser salad. Both taste and size are great. I recommend this place to anyone.

Do NOT get the "Frita Cubana" nothing about it is frita or Cuban. A good frita has chorizo unlike this one. Don't waste your money on this and just get a regular burger because that's exactly what it is. Except it's named a frita to convince New Yorkers who have never tried a damn frita and wanna fit in in a city they don't belong that it's "ethnic". So disappointing.

Elvis was awesome! Chicken Strips and the homemade ranch and honey mustard ate! Drinks were delicious! Music on point.

Very nice and cool place to go with the family! Food was amazing and the service was top notch. Definitely recommend their Mexican street nachos and their cookies n cream milkshake! Amazing food and ambiance. Thank you to all the amazing staff.
