Eater’s Favorite NYC Restaurants Offering Delivery Right Now During Coronavirus - Eater NY

"This Thai restaurant is about as northerly as Thai restaurants get in Queens, and though the decor won’t matter at the moment, trust us, it’s distinctive. The duck salad here is unsurpassed, and so is the drunken noodle if you’re in a noodle mood. If you live within a mile of the restaurant, delivery is free at the above phone number; otherwise there’s Grubhub and Delivery.com." - Eater Staff

5 Restaurants to Try This Weekend in NYC - Eater NY

"For a worthy Thai lunch deal: The small and stylish Siamese Black Thai is located on the northern edge of the Thai restaurant zone that engulfs Elmhurst and Jackson Heights. As the name suggests the interior is relentlessly black, with black walls and black bric-a-brac, an ambiance that proves both pleasant and chill. More importantly, the food is spot on, including a fine pork version of massaman curry, chicken drunken noodles heaped high on the plate, and a duck salad that will leave you smacking your lips. A $9.95 lunch special offers a choice of salad, soda, or soup plus rice and main course." - Eater Staff

The atmosphere is so classy, there was a table right away, we were promptly given menu and the right amount of time before place our orders. We both had Pad Thai and dumplings. The flavors were so tasty. If we’re in the area, we will be back.

Google
A great place for Thai! The Thai Ice Tea was refreshing and delicious. Definitely a must have, especially if you're having something spicy. The Pad Thai with crispy duck was bursting with rich flavor. The noodles were tasty and the duck had the perfect crisp to it. The curry was also a great bite. For the spicy lovers out there - my only complaint is the lack of heat in the spice department. I ordered the Pad Thai spicy, but it wasn't that hot. I asked for the hot sauce to add more heat and it barely made it hotter. Maybe it was just a bad batch of spicy? Overall, the food is amazing and the service was good. The place is small so it would be a good idea to make reservations.

Google
Now baby you know I love me some Thai food. I love the decor and smell once you walk through the doors. The food was great and enjoyed the Thai tea. I was in a rush so I’ll have to stop back again and try other delicious options.

Google
This place is very fond to me, it introduced me to Thai cuisine about 4 years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since! I haven’t been there frequently as I moved out of the neighborhood, but it’s great, the food is always delicious, and not once have I had a bad experience. I remember one year my husband and I didn’t have plans for New Years, we were down in the dumps actually, and I can tell you for sure Black Thai was there to save the night, thankfully! So all in all, highly recommended, the food is always always great!

Google
Food quality was very good and portions were very good as well! Both my friend and I were very happy with our choices. I would go more often if i lived closer! Definitely a beautiful atmosphere and decor. A must try! One of the gems of Queens.

Google
I actually like this location. I was hesitant because of my coworkers opinions, but i had to try it for myself. I placed my order over the phone; the lady who took my order was nice and patient. The only thing I can complain about is the $4 charge to add shrimp to my Pad see ew. I just went with the chicken. When I arrived to pick up my order it was ready. The Shrimp rolls i ordered were good. The pineapple rice was a nice serving ssize The smell of the food is pretty potent. The price was a little pricey, but not crazy. Would I return again? Yes.

I am never gonna order here because it was the worse experience like a left over food at home i felt . Ewww I might vomit on the way 😔

Google

Yelp
Black Thai is our little secret. Well, not so secret since I'm spilling the beans here, but you get the drift. My wife's obsession with their house salad is real. She talks about it so much, I get jealous. The place is a snug spot in our bustling neighborhood, offering consistency in the wild sea of Thai restaurants. The curries here are the real MVPs. They've got the magical ability to transport your taste buds straight to Thailand, minus the jet lag. And if you're on a budget but still want to feel fancy, their lunch deals are like hitting the jackpot without buying a lottery ticket. Choosing Black Thai among its numerous competitors is a no-brainer. It's like choosing a movie to watch on Netflix and actually finding one in less than 10 minutes. A rare victory, folks. This place has become a staple in our dine-out routine for all the right reasons.

Yelp
SO GOOD!!! Fresh ingredients used for their dishes. Cozy environment and excellent service. Family business owned as far as I can see...the food is really good and the prices are reasonable.

Yelp
Always one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the neighborhood, though sometimes their food is a little bit too salty, but overall the food is really good! However, the service needs to be improved. I came on a Saturday. The waitress was very friendly and polite. I went again today (a Thursday), it was already a few weeks later, a different waitress in glasses was there but she was not friendly and she was rude. I went there alone both times, and it was not rush hour. On that Saturday, I chose to sit at a 4-seat table near the register. The friendly waitress didn't stop me because it was not busy and there were many empty tables. While today when I went, it was not busy as well (after 2:30PM), I again chose to sit at a 4-seat table. The waitress in glasses was not happy and she made sure I came alone and asked me to sit at a 2-seat table. If it is busy, sure I will sit at a less seat table. Why can't I choose where to sit? And I saw the way she served the other customers, she was rude and unprofessional! The people at the other table wanted to place another order to go, and she thought they wanted the check. So she got them the check instead. Then one of the ladies told her that they actually wanted to order a new dish to go. Those people are not fluent in English, and this waitress was blaming them for not making it clear enough and she was saying they were confusing her. I was like, "Seriously? What kind of service is that??" Honestly, she just hates her job. I hope the management can look into the matter. The food is undoubtedly incredible, but the quality of service depends on who is on duty.. if the management doesn't train their staff well, it's not going to make good business.

Yelp
Delicious meal. Date night vibes. Great for the whole family. I believe the ambience says it all Dark, seductive, intimate. It's got tasty variety in all aspects, vegan, meat heavy, and noodlely. I love it!

Yelp
Much like Little Cesar's, it's hot and it's ready. Is it good? Sometimes. Anyone in the Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Woodside area knows there's no lack of Thai places available to us. Each one is a little different and has something to offer. The thing i value most about Black Thai is that there are amazingly fast. Like weird fast. Like, how did you get that done so fast, fast. That doesn't mean it's bad though. Black Thai is incredibly valuable when you've been running around all day and need something RIGHT NOW cause you let the day get away from you. This is the scenario I most often am in when I order from here. I know that at worst, the food will be ok, but often, it's actually incredibly good. While I value consistency in restaurants, I also appreciate that I'll never have a bad meal from here. Their pad thai and pad see ew are my go-to's. My move is to call, order, then immediately put my shoes on and start walking there, cause I know by the time I get there, it'll be ready for me. I love Black Thai and it's helped me sooo many times when I've been in a bind fighting with the monster that is hangry-ness.

Yelp
Ate here today before work for lunch by myself. I had brought and ate the crab rangoon and spicy fried rice with crispy pork. It was pretty good and delicious. The service there was also friendly, and attentive that I didn't feel rushed about what to choose something to try for the first time. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Yelp
I ordered from Black Thai on Thanksgiving, as my dinner plans fell through. I was happy to see that they were open on the holiday! The food was delivered in a reasonable timeframe, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Massaman curry with chicken and requested for it to be spicy. The spicy level was great, but the curry itself was a bit lackluster. It didn't have that creamy curry consistency that I usually enjoy. The drunken noodle was delicious and had just the right flavor. The portion was also pretty generous. I forgot to take a picture, but I also got the Thai iced tea, which was really refreshing and complemented the spicy curry. I think there is better Thai food out there, but if you're looking for some noodles, this is a great delivery option.

Yelp
The last four reviews I've done have been Thai restaurants . This spot was a small shop on Northern, from outside nothing super special to bring you in but the inside is decorated very nicely with some interesting decor, which definitely added to the vibe. It seems like a mom and pop shop but the service was top notch. The woman serving us was very friendly, told to us to take our time and enjoy the meal. I ordered the vegetable red curry lunch special and my friends ordered the spicy fried rice and pad Thai lunch specials. The food came out very quickly and tasted amazing. A small as the bowl of red curry looked, it was very filling, and the rice was super aromatic. Overall definitely one of the better Thai restaurants I've been to. The total came out to about $60 for all including two drinks (Thai tea and lychee). Street parking looks for Northern Boulevard. Overall definitely would return.

Yelp
Pretty good Thai place. Stumbled upon ordering from Black Thai through Grubhub as it was the fastest and cheapest. Food taste good, but some things were different than I've tasted at other Thai restaurants. Unless l received the wrong menu items as the Pad See Ew had carrots in it which my coworkers believed was drunken noodles and the dumplings I ordered were different from what was described. Food is good and delivery was quick so I do recommend.

Yelp
This is a highly recommended local Thai spot. The atmosphere is amazing inside and the design is something out of this world. The food speaks for itself always being so fresh and delicious. The prices are great too for the quantity of food that you are getting. I always get their Pad Woon Sen noodles with some vegetable rolls, and of course I can't skip out on that tasty Thai Iced Tea. The staff is very friendly from the times I've ordered over the phone, over Uber, and all the times that I have gone in person too!

Yelp
Great Thai food and decor. I enjoyed my pad see eww and a thai iced tea. The Thai iced tea is on the sweeter side but full of tea flavor.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered in. This was my first time trying glass noodles with the chicken and vegetables. WOW. I have a new dish to add to my repertoire. The dumplings were delicious as well! Also my first time having Thai ice tea. I'll be removing that from my choices lol. (Not their fault, just not my thing.

Yelp
Ordered through DoorDash while sitting in my hotel late night . Pengnang curry hold a very special place in my heart as does Thai iced tea . So naturally i ordered both . The food came quick and still very warm ! (Gotta love summer in NYC) The thai iced tea was delicious and cold . Had to be shaken but delicious ! The curry was good as well but idk something didn't wow me like it usually does . But please don't let that distract you! This place is amazing and I'm just hard to satisfy lol !
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered take out for their lunch special. The lunch special is one you cannot beat. The portion was so generous and the pad thai was super flavorful. I had a single takeout for two meals. I was really happy with the food.
google avatar

Misty D.

Yelp
They no longer have mango sticky rice!! Mango is the best and it's summer! They replaced it with Thai custard sticky rice. Like whyyyy?! Thai custard tastes awful btw, and they charge the same price as the Mango. Bring back Mango!!!!

Yelp
We did delivery and the food was excellent. We will certainty order from them again or perhaps visit the restaurant.

Elena Jane U.

Yelp
Many years ago.. i ordered and food, it was ok ... last year it was worse .. tonight i ordered through grub hub.... And holy cow.... It's awful... I've eaten pad Thai from many places .. including here and it's never been this ... there is this off smell and it just tastes awful........ omg I cannot even believe how bad this is .. and I'd write this on grub hub but it's not letting me ... this pad Thai is awful so bad that it's going in the trash... I don't like giving reviews like this ... but come on man... y'all need to do better .. likely never ordering from here again ..

Yelp
Food and service is excellent will definitely return. Crispy Spare Ribs excellent Mango Salad

Yelp
Stumbled upon this Thai restaurant by wandering Northern Blvd. on a Saturday night. Dimly lit yet inviting interior and a pleasant hostess who seated us immediately when walking in. Fairly basic selection of drinks but a large menu of different food categories. Decided on the Beef Pineapple Fried Rice ($11) - a heaping pile of brown rice, mixed with veggies, pineapple, cashews, and sliced beef. Thankfully not too greasy and the cashews were a nice addition for texture. Beef is slightly overcooked, though not too chewy overall. Again, service does a good job here and they confirmed the veggie options can be made without fish sauce. Seems like a good option for delivery as well.

Yelp
Black Thai is one of the hidden gems of Jackson Heights! First of all it has an eclectic decor that makes it very unique. Our server was so sweet and she is also a wonderful bartender. I had the Mango Margarita! Yum! When I told her that the last time I ate there I had Shrimp in Tamarind sauce she said, "Well it's not on our menu but we'll make it for you." That was so nice! And it was delicious! I also ordered the Sautéed Spicy Eggplant. I asked for it not too spicy. The sauce was so tasty. And the eggplant was cooked perfectly. At the end of our dinner the server came over and said, "Well the Tamarind Shrimp is on our menu now!" I usually post pictures but everything was so delicious all I could think about was enjoying every bite.

Yelp
I used to love coming here for both dine-in and take-out because their food's amazing! BUT........ Lately, their food have been lacking a whole lot. I'm not sure if they changed chefs or it's their ingredients lacking but I typically order the same thing (yes, I'm boring but I love getting the same thing here) and it just doesn't taste the same anymore. The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) is my all time favorite thing here and some time 2-3 months ago, I ordered take out and it was def nowhere close to what I typically ordered. Penang Curry was overly salty but also lacking its authentic flavors and the rice seemed super stale/old. It was just strange. I also ordered some appetizers and honestly, they're usually pretty decent. Maybe it's a one off type of situation since maybe they had a different chef the day I order. Will def try again in the near future before I review it again.
google avatar

Dipali G.

Yelp
Decent food, fast delivery, and huge portions. Food: the food was not the best Thai food. I had the drunken noodles with tofu. The drunken noodles with tofu. The noodles were overall fine, but the tofu lacked flavor. I would try this again with chicken. The pork pad see ew was very good! The duck roles were not great, I couldn't tast the duck - mostly vegetables and the flavor was a little off. I loved the dumplings, and would order the dumplings as a main meal next time. Honestly, the food was just ok, but the portion sizes were huge. One container of noodles is enough for two servings Service: I ordered delivery and they were so quick! If you need food quick, this is def the place to order from Price: great prices, especially given the portion size

Yelp
The yummiest coconut shrimp soup does exist: fragrant, umami, warm and satisfying- it's a must. We shared calamari- meh, basil shrimp- yummy and tamarind fried duck also delish. Mango sticky rice, Thai tea, and wine were good. We had the place nearly to ourselves for a hour before a large party arrived. Cute little hidden gem with affordable, good eats.

Oscar L.

Yelp
I can't stop vomiting. I've ordered from you guys countless times over the years but never again. I have eaten almost all of my Drunken Noodle order only to find at the bottom a dead cockroach. It's truly unfortunate but this is f***king sickening
google avatar

Gabriel T.

Yelp
I probably could have taken a better picture of the beer braised crispy ribs but they were out of this world incredible!!! Perfect sweet tangy flavor and juicy tender meat just kisses you back every bite you take and don't get me started on the pad Thai, I asked for it to be a little spicy and there wasn't really a grade scale for the level of spice I wanted it's like the lady looked into my soul and just knew exactly what I was needing. Flavor was perfect. 10/10 would make this my first stop every single time I land at LaGuardia airport. Prices were perfect as well!!
google avatar

Mardory V.

Yelp
Food is cooked to order and comes out steaming hot. You can adjust the spice levels to your liking, the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. There are an assortment of options from tofu to seafood to beef/duck and chicken. There are a variety of appetizers and soups and they have a dessert section in the back of the menu. They only serve beer and wine but I think a thai iced tea or tea/soda is the best bet. If I reviewed based on food alone, I would be tempted to rate this place a 3.5-- maybe 4 stars. However, the bathroom leaves something to be desired lacking the decor and deliberate design that is found in the dining area. It could also be cleaner. This place could be something really nice, intimate and cozy if they decided they would be more than slightly elevated Thai food. I would recommend this place for a simple date night or eating dinner with a small group of friends. Not a first date spot as it's small and everyone can pretty much listen to your conversation. Service was spot on and no one rushes you out. Pop in for a bit

Nilda R.

Yelp
Quick and efficient delivery service! Excellent thai food. Drunken noodle is my favorite.
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
I'd give it 6 stars if parking was easier. Great food at a great price. Had the Green Curry, Drunken Noodles and coconut rice. Amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
It has literally been frustrating for my mom and I to find a good Thai place (because we're both Thai & picky about how good the food should be). Like any typical asian mom, my mom disapproves of many Thai spots we go to and always has to point something out and we end up leaving talking shit about the food. I could not believe my moms reaction to her eating here bro. She just kept saying "arroy mak" which means "very tasty" and she was right. I've never had pad Thai in this country that had that much flavor. Unbelievable I loved all of it. The prices are reasonable. Honestly. Compared to other Thai restaurants, we had 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, & 2 Thai iced teas come out to less than $70 without gratuity added. Usually elsewhere ONE app and 3 entrees with only water would be almost $80. The waitress was super nice. She helped us with our parking issue too and was very attentive. Overall 5 stars to this place because you managed to make my hard to please Thai mom happy
google avatar

Hee H.

Yelp
Why pad Thai is pink color? I ve never seen this colored pad Thai. Also I found hair in my pad Thai. I never going to order from here again
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
I like this place but wouldn't say it's anything out of the ordinary! I do like the food, and the nice spice - though not very spicy for a medium spice level. There are just a lot of great Thai places. This is good but not my personal favorite. I loved the coconut pudding with sticky rice -- it was interesting with the contrast in texture between the rice and the pudding but the blend in flavor is delicious! I would come back again. My review is totally cus I'm a Thai food snob! This place is definitely worth checking out.
google avatar

Barbara C.

Yelp
Delicious probably one of the better Thai places in the area. My children love it to and they are very picky. Some of the tastiest pad Thai I've ever had. Don't miss this place!
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
I use to like Black Thai but since the pandemic I have to say that their take out has dwindled in flavor. Normally I would eat in at Black Thai but this is my second take out order and both times the food has been lack luster. Flavorless garlic beef and the chicken satay was raw. I had to put it in the toaster oven to finish cooking it. Yeah sorry to say this but we are trying to support small businesses as many others are and it's disappointing when you have one bad experience but think it may have been an off day but that you go back and yet again it's off. Sorry but I will be taking my business elsewhere. Black Thai please as a courtesy to your other customers that will be ordering give them well cooked food and make it tasty. By the way I lived in Bangkok for four years so I know what I am saying. I like farang style Thai but this is too just flavorless.
google avatar

Christian V.

Yelp
Let's start with the Calamari, jumbo shrimp, vegetable rolls and dumplings, and chicken satay. Gone in a flash. Whole Snapper with mango salad, Duck with Garlic, Shrimp Pad Thai, Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli and Chicken Massaman Curry. Wow nothing was left either. 2 Mango Sticky rice, 3 scoops of green tea ice cream got finished even faster. Our server Fon is amazing, she took care and anticipated every need. Delicious and truly exceptional!!
google avatar

Angelic R.

Yelp
One of my favorite thai spots in Queens. Can't wait till the pandemic is over and I'll be able to sit inside. Small yet cozy , the decor is phenomenal, you will feel like you're in a restaurant in Manhattan, great service and fast. Only thing I wish is that they had alcoholic drinks besides wine or beer. I had a craving and decided to stop by for take out and it was so good ! Worth the travel.

Pete H.

Yelp
Was really tasty food. I ate in, but the place needs a BIG CLEAN DOWN. The tables and chairs were sticky AF, meaning they do not clean. There was also little flies flying around. The plates and silverware were medium clean. The place was busy for deliveries and sit downpeople e were coming in and out throughout my visit The food was good, but i will not be back until they do a full scrub down of the restaurant. The tables and chairs being sticky is really not ok. Overall good food though

Yelp
: *Steamed Vegetable Dumpling - Hand-rolled dumpling stuffed with ground roasted nut and sweet radish. Served with a sweet soy dipping sauce. *Duck Wrap - Wrapped in handmade roti, hoisin sauce and spicy Sriracha dipping sauce. *Thai iced Tea . : *Duck Pad See Ew - Sautéed broad rice noodles, Chinese broccoli, egg and imported aged dark Thai soy gravy. *Pad See Ew with Chicken - Sautéed broad rice noodles, Chinese broccoli, egg and imported aged dark Thai soy gravy. *Pad See Ew with With Mock Duck - Sautéed broad rice noodles, Chinese broccoli, egg and imported aged dark Thai soy gravy. . This spot is absolutely a neighborhood gem!! Its such a cute little spot with such beautiful decor, great food and ambiance, its worth every penny! Perfect for a celebration, a date night or great photo opportunities . It was my first time here but definitely not my last! From the moment we sat down til the moment we left, our experience was amazing. The interior is decorated with all kinds of decorations but all in the shade of black, hence the name Black Thai. The chandeliers definitely made the place feel fancy & added a touch of bouggieness to the restaurant without having to pay the price . Every single item that we ordered tasted amazing!! I can taste the authenticity of each item along with the freshness. I cant wait to go back and try more items from the menu
google avatar

Anju A.

Yelp
Walked in here on a Friday night, restaurant was busy and there was one waitress running around. Although she was the only waitress, she made sure all the tables received good service. I enjoyed the fried rice and shrimp malayassam curry. The appetizer which was fish cake was too soggy and did not taste so good. Dinner ended with a nice fried ice cream. Recommend this place for a nice dinner with a person or two. The restaurant is a bit to small for large groups. Overall I enjoyed my dinner here

Yelp
I'm not going to lie, I was definitely skeptical of this place upon reading the low rated reviews. But my friend wanted to try this place, so we did. And am I really, really glad we did. As everyone has pointed out here, the decor of this place is sick - I'm honestly not sure what the theme is, but I am digging it. It's such a lovely place, small yet spacious, and it's great how voices don't carry over to other tables. I liked that the menu offered dishes that I'd never seen before in other Thai places, like Papaya salad and Crispy Duck salad. I didn't order these, but still, it was pretty cool to see unique dishes on the menu. I can't recall seeing a Thai restaurant serve duck...or maybe I just need to go to more? The service was great - friend is allergic to peanuts, so the waitress was helpful in finding alternatives for us. They're also very accommodating when it comes to the spice in their dishes - if you don't want spicy, it's fine - the dishes are still delicious! We ended up ordering: - Pineapple fried rice ($9.95): I usually don't like pineapple fried rice - I love pineapple, and I love rice, I just don't love them together (yes, I'm weird). But oddly enough, this one was delicious and I couldn't help hog more than half the dish... - Garlic Sauce Sautéed Vegetables ($10): straight up what it says and it was so good! - Avocado Tilapia ($20): SO SO SO GOOD. The avocado was so fresh and if you love tilapia, you get a ton with this dish! I also don't like curry (I know, who am I and why am I eating Thai food), but this one was so light and so tasty! I kept adding the sauce to my rice... #guilty - Seafood Noodle Soup ($13): I seriously cannot wait to order this again, but next time, keep this all to myself! Haha. It was so worth it - looks can be deceiving on this one, so it can be shared! I seriously enjoyed my time here - it was so quiet and just a great experience overall. Giving 4 stars though because as someone here has pointed out, it is still a little pricey for Thai food in Queens. Cailin's Recommendations - Pineapple fried rice ($10) - Garlic Sauce Sautéed Vegetables ($10) - Seafood Noodle Soup ($13) - Avocado Tilapia ($20)

Yelp
Great tasting Thai food but be prepared to be water-logged the next day from all the salt that they use.

Nor456 G.

Yelp
Garlic duck is very good. Finished all of it and i am stuffed. Would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Alexandra M.

Yelp
This is solely based on delivery - BUT, we can only really recommend their crab pad Thai. Everything else is kind of lackluster in flavor - which was disappointing. Their packaging was great, kept everything hot. I will order from here again, but only crab pad Thai.
google avatar

Nelson D.

Yelp
Probably my fav Thai restaurant. They cook spicy so be warned. All your typical Thai dishes are done very well. To start the spring rolls are crispy and tasty. The pad Thai is just the right amount and very tasty. If you don't prefer peanut just ask them to omit. It's not spicy unlike other places that make it spicy. I am for it Spicy. The red curry sauce is one of my favorite, so whatever you protein you choose it's just right. It's spicy. I order for take or delivery all the time. They are especially quick on their deliveries. In any weather food always gets there hot and tasty. I recommend it highly.
google avatar

Kaitlin D.

Yelp
Ambiance: good Food: Mediocre However, their takeout is pretty fast and good. For Jackson Heights, it's a great spot.
google avatar

Janel S.

Yelp
Eh.. that's all I can really say about the food. The pad thai was a reddish pink color which I've never seen before, so to me this places food is a bit inauthentic. The delivery was fast and the food came piping hot so that's a plus. I also ordered a shrimp soup which had about 5 shrimps in it and they were very small. There are definitely better thai spots out there.
google avatar

Chen S.

Yelp
We ordered delivery. The crispy duck was old and dry and not crispy at all. Vegetable were old and the seasoning was off. The crab fried rice, we added extra duck, there's no crab meat at all in the fried rice. The food was terrible we tossed it and had to order from another restaurant.
google avatar

Samantha L.

Yelp
First time having Thai in the city.... the pad Thai had a pinkish hue. That was confusing to me. Flavor was really light, little meat and we didn't finish it. We got lunch portions and it was very large. But the soup was horrible as was the "salad" which consisted of a few pieces of lettuce maybe 1 tomato and a slice of carrot. Better off getting a soda. The drunken noodle was also okay. Ordered it with shrimp, $3-4 upcharge for 4 small shrimp. Not worth it to me. Based on flavor I would not return. Price was good for lunch portions and service was fast and friendly. Place had a funky smell to it though... maybe it's just all the fish sauce they use.

Yelp
Decent Thai food in the neighborhood. Not the best, but decent for the area. I order from here when i want a switch it up. This is a small hole in the wall, but a classy one nevertheless. The ambience is great and the music adds class factor. Unique decor, fast friendly service and decent food selection on the menu. Very cozy and nice atmosphere. Free delivery for take out. If you are looking for a amazing Thai this place is not it. The food here is average at best. The wait staff is very friendly and alert of your wants and needs. Overall not the best place for my liking, but not a bad place as well. Decent Thai food at best.

Yelp
Would give them 3 1/2 if it were an option. Food was delivered on time and handed off quickly thru DoorDash. Food was nicely prepared and very flavorful. Side soup was tiny , yes its a side but still expected a size up from what it was. Other issue was the Duck spring rolls. Just the tiniest shredding of duck to the point that there was really no duck flavor to the rolls. Better off just ordering the regular veggie rolls , which were good and saving a few bucks for the almost invisible duck.

Yelp
Overall rating: Atmosphere/cleanliness - 4 Service - 3 Menu options - 4 Food - 1 Price - 3 Total - 15/5 = 3 If I wasn't here because a good friend recommended this place and I came here with a very very high expectations, maybe I'd give this place a better rating. The curry was really below average, it tasted like water. The meat was slightly overcooked and tough. The whole presentation wasn't that appealing. The Thai ice tea didn't have enough condensed milk.
