I ordered biscuits and gravy, waffle with blueberries and ham and Benedict's. Biscuit and gravy had an after taste. Where you needed a drink to get it down. The waffle was over cooked. I like it soft and brown. Good thing there was syrup to try and soften it but it still was hard. The Benedict was good the sauce was just right the egg cooked well. The potato's on the side were cold. The tea, I was told was fresh brewed but had an old taste. So the machine needs to be cleaned or it wasn't fresh. over all ⭐⭐⭐

A great place for fresh tastes! They simple is best and when it comes to freshness Blackberry marries the fresh and simple experience. Delicious and large portions served. It was delightful to actually taste our food and nothing was heavy or oily. Our waitress, Lisa, was attentive and took good care of our requirements due to allergies. Lovely place. You feel at home.

Stopped in for the first time and enjoyed a pretty good breakfast. Customer service was excellent. Food came out quick and hot which was impressive considering how packed the place was. Everything was on point. I definitely recommend going for breakfast.

First time visiting great atmosphere excellent customer service very nice waitress named Jennifer I had the fish sandwich fries and an Arnold Palmer very tasty and homemade tartar sauce it was a smash hit! I’ll be back with my son. Thank for a great lunch today if you visit ask for Jennifer!

I highly recommend trying this perfect little Café out. I took my 11 year old daughter & her girlfriend here for the Dubai Strawberry chocolate pancakes, and they were amazing. The service was Excellent and it was such a great atmosphere buzzing with conversations and joy. We all really enjoyed this Quaint little Café and will be back for sure. Prices are very competitive for what’s going around these days so I hope everyone will steer away from their normal places to try something new and to give this mom and pop café their business to help them succeed in flourish.

Incredible spot for breakfast! Great service and good prices. Tried their new Dubai French toast 10/10 would recommend. My favorite dish is the Hollywood skillet! I come here regularly as this is close to my home and I have never had a bad dish!

During my recent vacation to Arizona, I visited BlackBerry Cafe and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and comfortable, and the restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained. The service was attentive, professional, and extremely friendly, contributing greatly to the overall positive impression. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and served in generous portions that exceeded expectations. The service is wonderful. We were greeted by a lovely person who we now know was the owner. Our server, Christina, was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. We’re happy we decided to stop in and give this neighborhood diner a chance :)

We went to Blackberry this past Sunday, the food and service is amazing and the place is also very cozy. We loved it and will be returning frequently.

Went because finally there was a daily soup that was something we'd like! Yay! I ordered a Rueben because those and iced tea are my barometers for cafes! I want to tell you-- yep, they do a fantastic Rueben. The meat was just the right amount. I don't like a huge pile, but I want to taste it! Meat was not dry or chewy as some is. It was really nice. The sauerkraut was tasty and the bread seemed fresh. It was perfectly toasted. The server brought me 1000 island. I was surprised it wasn't already on the sandwich. The fries were pretty great-- very hot. Crispy exterior and soft interior! The iced tea was cold, loaded with ice and came with lemon. Excellent. A pickle was included. The soup....the reason I stopped in. It was hot, thick, and came with fresh lemon. It was a creamy chicken orzo soup. It was very good but did need a bit of salt. I never salt things but this needed something. Still-- best soup I've found outside of the Midwest so far. I took some home for another meal. I almost didn't want to go because of the owner's message to me previously. If a customer has an opinion- take it or leave it! We all have so many choices of restaurants in this area. I don't give stars for nothing. I think hard about them! The server I had could not have been nicer. The food was hot. Drinks were ice cold. It was clean and bright. It really was a great experience today.

I had high hopes after reading so many great reviews. Glad the restaurant has many customers that love their food, not sure if we were there on an off day, but wasn't impressed. Service was good, but the food won't bring us back. Ordered gluten free french toast with their apple cinnamon topping. Loved that the apples were crisp, but lacked in cinnamon flavoring. The French toast without the apples was okay. The temperature throughout was in consistent. The apples were warm to hot, but the French toast slices were warm to cool. Not sure if the French toast was sitting waiting for the apples to be warmed, so the toast cooled off. I was told the cinnamon French toast lacked flavor and needed the syrup. The scrambled eggs were dry and the bacon is thin and not flavorful. As I said, disappointing. Maybe we ordered the wrong items, maybe it was an off day. We won't be rushing back.

My family and I have been coming here every weekend for multiple years. The food is always hot and fresh and the servers are always more than happy to accommodate large groups. We vary from 3 - 15 people on any given visit and with a quick call ahead of time, we never have a wait.

Great Breakfast! Wow. Nice balanced menu of many good choices and specials. Something for everyone. I had the bacon Avocado tomatoe omelet and my wife had the house skillet. Very nice portions. This place smells like a breakfast place. Love it. Kaley helped us and she had patience as we decided on our meal. So helpful! We will come back again and again. Thanks Blackberry Cafe.

When visiting my friend in the Chandler area, we wanted to grab breakfast after watching a Tottenham match at a local pub nearby. Nothing beats a hearty breakfast after a breakfast pint and this place did satisfy our breakfast craving. When arriving we were seated immediately and the place seemed very spacious to accommodate larger parties/winter crowds. Once seated, we were greeted and advised the waitress would be with us shortly. Due to it being my first visit, I needed some time with the menu deciding but my friend knew immediately since she frequents this establishment. I decided on Garden Skillet ($14.95) and Coffee ($3.25). Overall, I felt like almost $15 for a skillet that didn't have any meat to be a bit pricey in comparison to other locations. Though I'm sympathetic to the rising cost of goods with inflation. It also didn't seem as seasoned as I would like, and lacked the wow factor. It still is a solid dish, but I would pick a different entree if I return. With friendly service and proximity to my friend's house, I will likely return in the future and would recommend to others for a typical local breakfast spot.

Consistently good. A great value for your money. A very clean restaurant with hot sauce bottles and tables that are not sticky. Delicious breakfast foods. This time I tried the Garden Skillet with two eggs over easy and a pancake. The skillet had lots of fresh veggies with perfectly cooked eggs. Lila was our attentive server. She was great. This place is a mainstay for me.

This spot was pretty decent. Not the best ambiance, but the food was worth it except the coffee. The coffee tasted cheap and weak. Service was fine, but obviously they have to bring you your food. Outside of that, there is no one to wait on you since everything else is accessible.

Service and breakfast were great. Definitely would go back. Place was not packed so that was a plus

This is a great breakfast brunch spot for large groups or just a small gathering or just yourself. Local food great service friendly faces when you come in everything's nice and clean great big menu of breakfast choices. You won't be disappointed a good place to go try it out.

Wonderful little cafe with many options for gluten free! Their gf pancakes are so tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. I heard that the regular non gf pancakes tasted like vanilla cookies! Lots of fruit options for the pancakes as well.

BlackBerry Cafe serves a fantastic breakfast/brunch, and their homemade blackberry jam is absolutely delicious. We enjoy sitting outside to take in the beautiful scenery. The staff is always quick and efficient, bringing out our food in no time. It's definitely one of our favorite spots for breakfast!

These stars go out to the employees who cleared the tables and the waitress/ owner who cashed is out. The waitress watched us like a hawk, waiting for prey and as if, we were going to dine and dash! Lol A little disappointed in the honesty level of our waitress and the request for extra napkins, to only receive 2! ‍ Come on now...we want to wipe our Mouths, not our finger(singular)!!! I had the Florentine (Egg White) Benedict (I only eat egg whites) with 1 side pancake. My friend/pal had a meal, in which, the same waitress, went off assumptions with her order, and assumed that she wanted pancakes when the menu gave her a choice. My friend/pal doesn't even eat pancakes ma'am ‍ ‍ My food was good! Compliments to our Chef! The cleaning crew were AWESOME and on top of things, by taking away plates and dishes, as soon as, they were ready to be cleared. Our waitress not only, rolled her eyes after we requested more napkins but she also had extra charges on the bill which, were unexplainable. She did tell us that, it was busy. This is no excuse to not provide better customer service and to overcharge. When we asked this waitress about the charges, she mentioned that the extra fees were on the menu but, they weren't listed anywhere on the menu. We looked that menu over and over to see no findings, nor did the front have a note on up charging customers. The waitress needs proper training and preferably review the menu prices before, having a field day on receipts by adding her own charges. Intentionally or not Intentionally, this is a big deal! Honestly, I left a nice tip in hopes that it is split with the staff( The other employees had ideal customer service). Being honest!!! There's plenty of parking onsite Probably won't go back here due to being overcharged! I'm happy to support but, some of these restaurants make it hard when they have crooked shady practices going on. ‍ If you go, you might want to check your receipt! Almost a $10 upcharge is insane for egg whites and 1 pancake!!!

Hubby and I came in for a quick bite over the weekend and we were greeted by Stephanie, whom I suppose is new but I wouldn't have been able to tell! It was our first time in and she gave great menu recommendations, food was hot and fresh and everything was wonderful. Super cute inside and I thought it was really cool the owner (forgot her name, sorry!) came and chatted with us, welcomed us to the neighborhood and even was serving tables! I love to see that true family feel/unit in a small business! Loved it so much I even teased and offered to pick up a couple shifts during the week! Hehe! We will definitely be back

Very cute place, quick service. Food was good portions,just could have used some seasoning. My husband loved his pancakes. Our server, seemed super shy, someone be put off but I really think she was just shy. Will try for Lunch

The food was good, but I was not blown away. Everything is perfectly fine, a ton of parking, and nice service. I asked if I should get the pancakes or the French toast, and the server immediately said that the pancakes were the best. I'm extremely picky about pancakes, because if they are gummy at all, I do not like them. Unfortunately, the pancakes were gummy. The flavor was good, but I did not enjoy the texture. The eggs were good and the bacon was good. I would go there again. There is a lot of great outside seating as well.

Our waitress, Kerri, was so sweet and professional. We found our new breakfast spot. Delicious. Nutella banana crepe are the best I've ever had. Seriously, I will never order this anywhere else. Can't wait to try many more things on the menu

I've been here twice and wish I give more than five stars as I tend not to be a breakfast gal. The food was fantastic, the service was spot on. Michelle was our server and she was amazing! Bonus Good coffee. If your looking for a great breakfast this is the place.

The service here is good and the food comes out prompt and served hot. This place always hit the spot when it comes to my breakfast fix. On my recent visit, I decided to go with this Carne Asada skillet with a pancake on the side, which was a really good compliment so you got something sweet and you got something savory. The skillet was spot on and my eggs were cooked perfectly. My kid outdid me and added avocado which I should done to put that final touch. Still looking for that amazing signature standout dish(es) that "brings all the 'berries' to the yard", but not yet. Low-key Breakfast and Lunch here and I'll continue to return.

Recently heard rave reviews about Blackberry Cafe and had to try it for ourselves. I wanted to try the breakfast cakes but since they do not serve pure maple syrup, I settled for some biscuits with gravy instead. My spouse chose the country fried steak and opted for no eggs, extra hashbrowns instead. We also got a side of bacon to share. The meal was very filling and delicious, the gravy especially was great, and probably the fastest service we've had in months. This place is cute, well staffed, clean, and the freshest juice. We will definitely be back!

Their Cinnamon French toast was amazing! The service was fast and friendly. It really enjoyed my solo brunch sitting in the sun as I read my literature. Atmosphere was a plus.

Yup I had a Dr's appt around the corner so that meant I got Blackberry Cafe for breakfast/brunch. The Strawberry Banana Pancakes were fluffy & fresh, lots of fruit, paired w/ a side of bacon. I slathered my pancakes w/ butter & didn't touch they "syrup" b/c again, syrup served is corn syrup-based. Friendly service per the usual!

Worst place to eat... The owner is trash. Food mediocre at best. Pinching for dollars. All around a bad experience. My service was great but overheard a conversation between my server and owner degrading her and turned my experience around. Could've great with quality and a humbling attitude from the owner

I always have a really good food experience whenever I eat at Blackberry. The service is always good too. I've had many yummy menu items for breakfasts or brunch. I'm also always happy to help a local business. We always get in quickly, too.

It's a small cafe with diner style food. The food is simple and affordable. There are skillets and pancakes to choose from. Our server was really friendly too.

This place is amazing, I can't believe it took me this long to get here. Everything we ordered was excellent, it's all freshly made, and the food comes out pretty quickly too. The owner greets you at the door and her husband is in the back cooking every day, this is one of those local places that makes you feel like family. I would say the highlights for me were definitely the crêpe, that was ridiculously good, and probably the country fried steak. The gravy that they use is amazing. They have a special called hash stack and that is basically a combination of hashbrowns and sausage and bacon and eggs with the same biscuits and gravy and it is just so good.

On vacation in Mesa Arizona, my wife and I stopped in to the Blackberry Cafe for breakfast. It's a nice place to have coffee and a noshto start the day. We started with coffee, which was really good. My wife had three berry crepes. She loved them. They were very delicate and the filling was yummy. I had the potato pancakes, which were served with sour cream, apple sauce and fruit. They were very good, and very dense. There were three pancakes, and I could only finish two of them. The service was very friendly. We very much enjoyed our breakfast at Blackberry Cafe.

Lots of menu choices means something yummy for everyone! Food is consistently well-prepared, and delicious and service is fast & friendly. Love coming here!

We found this place a few years ago and now that we have our 94 year old mom living with us, we love bringing her to this place for breakfast. They are always so nice and accommodating for us. The food is delicious and service is the best. Even on a busy Mother's Day, the staff was amazing. Thank you and see you again soon.

I have the Carne Asada skillet with taters and green peppers and wheat toast with blackberry jump jam. It was delicious. It's been a while since I've been here. I need to come back sooner than later.

Always great food, service and ambiance. Needed to pick up lunch for today and breakfast for tomorrow. The tuna melt on sourdough and breakfast burrito have always been my favorites. They never disappoint.

The food is good. The service is non plus. Had the ham Benedict. Very tasty. Wife had the short stack with blueberries. Also tasty. Grandson had the kids stack with blueberries. He enjoyed the sausage and pancakes. Would we go back? Probably for the food. But not until exhausting any other local restaurant offering a similar experience. In hope of finding friendlier service.

I was in the area dropping my dog off at the groomers and needed a tasty, quiet place where I could have a business call. I was greeted right when I walked in by a friendly hostess and I told her my needs. She asked if I needed an outlet or just a quiet corner. My server Sam helped me figure out a delicious order and then throughout my call she kept coming over and without disrupting the call, got within my line of sight and gave me a thumbs up. I don't think I've had someone check in on many as many times as Sam did today. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate my gluten free diet requests. I had delicious blueberry gluten free pancakes, eggs, sausage, and hash browns. Oh, and a delicious fresh squeezed orange juice! I should have gotten a picture but I needed to hop on my call and fill my belly!

Cute place. Very friendly service and the food came out quickly. The food was good but not fabulous. We had lunch ( ranchero sandwich and patty melt. The garden veggie soup was good) I'd like to come back and try breakfast.

Service was excellent . Our skillets were awesome. However , disappointed as a fb add said free coffee and that they had great cold brews. Turns out the fb and instagram pg were old posts and no longer available. Asked for cold brew and served terrible ice coffee . Ordered a pancake and no real maple syrup. Coffee meh here . Owner did come apologize and had waitress bring honey and jam .

We got here shortly before closing like 115ish on a Sunday and the staff were still super friendly and seated us quickly. The food and service was wonderful, and the food came out quickly. They have a huge menu to choose from for the whole family. The interior is simple, light, and cozy all at the same time despite being a large restaurant. I had chosen the smother country omelet and it was pretty yummy! The gravy wasn't very heavy and lacked just a bit of flavor but salt and pepper took care of that. The hash browns were cooked lightly as I requested and the pancake came out great as well. Loved the waitress we had as she was personable and attentive. Would definitely recommend and be back!

Bathrooms were filthy, service was awful and they seemed like they couldn't care less about my business. When I arrived the waitress was very rude and didn't say "hello" or "welcome." I had to get her attention, same thing when leaving, no "good bye" or anything. I understand this type of customary behavior from a younger person in the food industry but not from an older woman. This is the second time I have gone here and had a bad experience but this time I am actually writing about it. Please get your act together, do your job, treat people right and maybe next time you can actually get a tip.

The service was great. I was seated right away. My beverage was ice coffee and it was delicious. I ordered eggs and blueberry pancakes with hash browns and a side of sausage links. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The sausage links were very tasty. The breakfast was well done and very tasty. The waitress was friendly and great service. The ambiance was average but the place was very clean. The only complaint was I thought the booth benches weren't that comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast.

We went to Blackberry Cafe while visiting from New Orleans with a whole basketball team of 18. The staff were amazing, friendly, and extremely helpful to all of us. Not only that, but the food was absolutely delicious and was made faster than a drive thru!! Amazing business

Delicious breakfast. Generous portions of ham and hash browns, perfectly cooked eggs, and a delicious pancake, accompanied by excellent coffee. Why I love going out for breakfast - to get a meal like this!

I've been wanting to stop in. It's close to our gym. Finally had time, today. Great service. Cozy atmosphere. Pretty large menu. The specials sounded delicious. But, I decided to be healthy. The Eggs Benedict Florentine was very good and enough for breakfast and lunch. My orange juice was delicious. I'm not sure if it was fresh squeezed but it tasted like it was. My son seemed to enjoy his meal; he ate most of it. I wouldn't mind to try lunch on another weekend. Or, I may order carry out for breakfast on my way to work. We spent about $37 for breakfast. I think it's a bit high for breakfast. But, I'd still try this place again for the many options they provide and the pleasant staff.

I really love coming here to eat. The food is great always comes hot .The service is wonderful and you get that family feeling when you're there. And Sekia the manager she is wonderful.

Service was a little slow as they were super busy. Food was great. This place is small, but there is a nice patio option. Nice breakfast and lunch options. I tried the Benedict Florentine and it was delicious. Will definitely be back.

This was such a great find. So glad we decided to stop and try it on our way back home from an airport drop off. The menu is large and so much to choose from. Definitely something for everyone. Service was also wonderful and we felt like we were just part of the family of regulars. We will definitely go back. The country fried steak was delish and the gravy perfectly seasoned. Don't even get me started on the crisp shredded hash browns we also ordered one of the waffles which was equally delicious. You won't be disappointed if you are looking for good home style cooking.

I was expecting much better tasting breakfast food. My son had pancakes that were like rubber when I attempted to cut them although he said they tasted ok. My cinnamon French toast were minimally ok. Service was good.

Food had no taste, served cold and server was in a bad mood. Wanted to like this place but def more breakfast spots who deliver friendly service and hot tasteful food. Safe your money, such a disappointment. Buyer beware!

I come here often with friends and try to introduce everyone to this gem. The menu is large with so many options to meet the needs of everyone! Service is always great, food is so delicious and prepared quickly.
