Blackbird Bakery

We choose Blackbird Bakery for our wedding in November! From start to finish, Blackbird was amazing to work with for our wedding cake and dessert table. Abby answered all my questions and was very responsive. Our cake and desserts were beautiful and our guests loved them (highly recommend the apple cider donuts in the fall)! We would recommend Blackbird to anyone!

We choose blackbird bakery for our wedding cake and dessert for our wedding! The dessert was a huge hit and our cake was the best cake I’ve ever had! Abby kept in touch with us and made sure we got everything we wanted. The set up was absolutely beautiful! I would recommend this place 10000 times to anyone looking for a wedding cake or just some yummy desserts!!! 😍🍰🧁

Abby was great to work with! She made the process of picking our wedding desserts and cake very simple. We went with the almond cake with raspberry filling and it was to die for! We also ordered brownies and cannoli's and they were just as good. Would highly recommend using them for any event.

I misden I appointment at Eye Physicians & Surgeons SC. With Dr. Brower and I had to make up for my mistake. So I went to blackbirds to grab some donuts to say I was sorry that my appointment after my eye appointment. I checked in for my next appointment and the receptionist and the others said, how delicious they were haven't had them myself. So I took them at their word. So I headed back there. And I got some for myself at 2 bucks, a donut, I got a half dozen, took them home, opened a beautiful box, and Now they were good. I told them what the reception said. And that put a smile on their face and they were happy to serve Their shop was very nice.

We ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes for our wedding last October, and we were so impressed with how everything turned out! Our personal cake was delicious and our guests LOVED the cupcakes - we had ordered extra, and they were all gone by the end of the night. Abby shared ideas with us throughout the process to really make it align with what we wanted. She helped set up everything day of, and it was exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend ordering through Blackbird Bakery!

This is a perfect hometown bakery. They have so much to offer. You have to see it in person. Everything they offer is fresh and the staff is amazing! Its a must when you are in Burlington!

We hired Blackbird Bakery to make our wedding cake as well as the cupcakes for our big day. Abby made everything so easy from the tasting to the wedding day. The cake turned out so cute! We unfortunately did not get our cake flowers placed on the cake (our fault not Blackbirds) but it looked so cute still without them. The cupcakes were adorable and were gone so fast. People kept going back for more! I would highly recommend Blackbird Bakery to anyone!

I stoped in before work and the woman behind the counter was so incredibly sweet. I wanted to bring in half dozen doughnuts to work and she kindly walked me through all the different flavors since I hadn’t been there before. She didn’t rush me and asked me questions for what I might like. When I got the doughnuts you could tell that they were fresh! They were so soft and each flavor was done just right. I would definitely recommend stopping in. They had a cute area for kids, some different selection of drinks, and loads more of baked goods other than doughnuts. I am looking forward to making this a work tradition!!

What a great bakery ! Just found it the day before Thanksgiving , grabbed 3 pies and they were FANTASTIC ! The apple was my favorite and the crust was so good ! Will be back for sure as so much more to try ! Highly recommended !

Some of the pastries I purchased tasted like they were day old. Very pricey. Pick another bakery to go to.

A gem of a bakery. Everything, and I mean everything, is amazing. Anything you try will be amazing. And if you ever need a cake? Call them. They did my wedding cake, as well as a birthday cake or two- all amazing. Definitely pop in if you ever get the chance!

Stopped in here on a Friday night during "Light up the Night" in Burlington. This little gem is new to our city. Creative scratch baking with the freshest ingredients for weddings, parties, and special events! Specializing in pies, cakes, delectable donuts (and other sweet treats). So much to choose from. They also have small "hobby farm" vegetable selections. Plenty of street parking. Only open certain days during the week, so please call ahead!

Amazing Bakery!! I have ordered a lot of custom cakes and desserts - they have been so tasty every time and so beautiful. 10/10 would recommend!

We absolutely adorable this bakery! It is so cute and has a small town feel. The donuts are perfection and a good variety. She has made cakes for our kids birthdays and they are gorgeously decorated and delicious! We frequent here way too often! Everything is delicious, reasonably priced and wonderful quality. Great variety around the holidays as well!

Blackbird Bakery was the sweetest addition to our wedding team! We did a 9" wedding cake and then treats for a sweets table for the rest of the guests at the reception. Abby was great to work with, making sure we got exactly what we wanted. We did the cakesicles, brownies, lemon bars, and macaroons, and everything was delicious! Our only regret was not ordering more treats so we could take some home, the dessert table was cleared out by the end of the night! Blackbird Bakery is full of wonderful treats and staff, and we cannot recommend them enough for any event!
