Blackbird Coffee

Had a great time here! While the coffee wasn’t too astonishing, the atmosphere was fantastic and made it a perfect place to chill out. We came as a group of 5 and found it quite hard to get a seat, so I agreed it is definitely a popular spot. Overall, a very positive experience and definitely come back for the vibes!

Came here for coffee with friends while staying in The Old Quarter after having walked past it the day before. The place is tiny but really cute. The atmosphere is great, and the interior quite tastefully decorated. Being vegan, my friend had black coffee with oatmilk on the side. I had the Coconut Chunky Bird, which had cream, condensed milk, and coconut milk in it, and it was amazing!!! Even my (other) friend who is not a big coffee drinker liked it!

Beautiful peaceful place with very tasty desserts and coffee. I had an almond croissant and iced coconut coffee. Balcony view is very nice, but if you want to work, inside is very cozy and quite. I saw ppl use to work from here

Good food and great coffee. I had the chicken focaccia sandwich with an Americano, and both were spot on. The place is quiet, and the second floor has good street views. Perfect spot to relax or get some work done.

I have been a frequent customer of Blackbird (Both locations) for years now. Every time I am back in Hanoi, I have to go here. The coffee had been consistently amazing every time. Highly recommended! Try everything.

Came back after a year and was honestly disappointed. The restroom was really dirty, and the staff seemed indifferent — even a bit judgmental toward customers. This used to be one of my favorite spots, a must-visit every time I was in Hanoi, but not anymore. I really hope the café improves, because it used to be such a gem. Even the coffee tastes noticeably worse now — I honestly don’t understand what happened.

Cozy and quiet cafe in the heart of Hanoi. Perfect for an afternoon chat with friends or working on your hobby projects. Coconut coffee is nice. Love the decor.
