This place is a vibe! I love it. Music is stellar, many different dj’s with different tastes. I enjoyed discovering new music and songs through chatting with them. Staff are kind and straight to the point, it gets busy so don’t get your panties in a wad about service; be nice and so will they. A real gem in my eyes.

Abby makes the best Bloody Maries & Jess is the vibe…this needs to become your next fav spot to hang out with ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS 😊✨🫶 Trust me; it’s Legendary! 👑

The atmosphere and decor are absolutely amazing — such a good vibe, friendly people, and great music. It’s a place that instantly makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The only small thing to improve would be that by 7:30pm there wasn’t any food available to order, and they also couldn’t make coffee at that time. Not a big deal at all, but it’s something that could make the experience even better. Overall, a lovely spot with great energy!

I've been there to see Salar Haghighi's photos and find out what a great place to have a nice night. Every details in this bar was exactly in a perfect sense. Trust me you won’t regret it.

I've only ever been here once, back in May 2017. Innocuous and unimportant as my random visit may have seemed, for all these years, it was a fulcrum point that profoundly drew deja-vu dreams into reality, my life forever changed... If I articulated all of the evidential facts that logically define and explain the present, you still wouldn't believe me. Worth a visit.

I walked in because I saw someone reading a book on the canopied bench outside with a coffee and they looked like the kind of afternoon I wanted to have in Melbourne. Friendly staff + great vibes + naturally sunlit cafe with plenty of seating options inside and outside. Didn’t try any of the food but the drink selection was fantastic. They had my favourite Strangelove yuzu drink

I’m new to the country and I came to Black Cat with a friend. On Wednesday I was served by Ilka who was fantastic and so friendly, made us feel very welcome. I enjoyed the place so much I came back the next night where I was served by Daisy who got me involved with her friends and conversations. Abby was wonderful as well, truly made me feel so solid in the decision to move to Melbourne. Cannot recommend enough. I would love to shout out all the staff but sadly didn’t get everyone’s names. Will absolutely be making this my local.
