Blackmarket Bakery North Park

Amazing place to grab lunch & stay for a bit. Outside or inside. Their pastries are AMAAAZING, but also their sandwiches. I tried the Phoenix one & it had lots of avocado. I also really enjoyed their apple tarts. I came on Oct 6 the cashier at the front was amazing! Will definitely come by again.

Perfect place to bring the dogs to have a coffee and a delicious pastry. 4/5 only because we ordered “For here” but got to-go cups. This was not the first time that happened. Trying to cut down on plastic waste and this does not seem environmentally conscious.

Stopped in at black market bakery and ate some yummy desserts! We had a cinnamon cookie and a black widow tart. The staff are all very nice and a very pretty store inside and the outside section which is dog friendly. Cute place to visit!

Love the variety of croissants that Black Market Bakery offers. They are a must, the sweet or savory a like. They also make very good breakfast sandwiches and coffees, like the cortado I usually have. Service is usually very friendly.

Oh my gosh this place is such a gem. I stopped in with my two kids and hubby and ordered about six different pastries, a mini cake and a beer. The atmosphere is absolutely adorable. The outside patio is absolutely gorgeous with a little hidden areas that you can sit in if you want a quiet Place. I really love the pop tarts and I also had a rocky road cookie that was to die for! I loved my peach cider as well. The guy who served me was so polite and helpful, He was really nice and answered my family of four courteously and was super helpful. Will for sure be back!

This place is a great bakery with a large variety of baked pastries, both sweet and savory, and types of bread. So far I have had their rye bread seated sourdough, and wheat bread and they were all delicious. They're cinnamon rolls are die for! I also had the opportunity to enjoy some of their savory pastries. It was like a pesto garlicky cinnamon roll type thing and it was delicious. If you like gingerbread, they have a gingerbread cookie with a lot of chunks of candy ginger in it. They also have standard gingerbread cookies and I had one that was shaped like a merman. Well they also make their own Pop-Tarts here and I had a really good pumpkin one. I'm pretty sure that's seasonal though and they may not have it anymore. Definitely worth stopping by and checking this place out. They also have a nice outdoor patio. Parking can sometimes be the only challenge in that area. Bring your walk and shoes.

I ordered via UberEats. The lavender latte was ok, but the Farm House breakfast sandwich was not. I was expecting melty cheese and fluffy eggs with ham but as you can see in the picture everything was totally dry. The cheese was basically dried into the bun and the ham was hard. The egg was somewhat burnt too. I couldn’t finish it- definitely not worth the $13 it cost.

Blackmarket Bakery is a hidden gem in North Park. Not only do they have great breakfast items, they bake all of their items in house and have a wide selection of knick knacks (cards, candles, chocolates, etc). This is a great place to pick up small gifts. I have come here a few times and the short bread cookies are a hit, specifically the earl grey short bread and the mocha walnut shorties. The earl grey cookies go great with tea and the mocha walnut shorties taste like the edges of brownies (IE the best part). As far as breakfast goes, I like getting the Fresh Prince breakfast sandwich with bacon as well as the Soyrizo sandwich. Can't go wrong with either, but the Fresh prince is more balanced since there are some veggies in there. There is covered outdoor seating that is dog friendly. I will be back soon!
