Wifi available. You can totally relax here. High ceiling and cozy sofas, fire place, and bookshelf on the wall. I like the atmosphere a lot. I

Really liked the layout and location but the coffee was just average compared to the rest of the local area. The staff was super nice and accommodating but not on the same level of proficiency that you’ll find at Heart or Barista just around the block. I liked the ambiance better and the WiFi is solid but for coffee alone there are better options. I had a medium 16oz latte and it was 4/5. Awesome Kees Van der Westen machine though - don’t see many of them. Glad to see it made its way across the pond and getting some love.

Very sophisticated, manly library sort of vibe. Coffee was fine, although not exceptional. Baristas were lovely and there was a cat sitting in the window.

First off, the old English parlour vibe here is on point. The copper table tops, dark woods, high backed leather chairs, bookcases, and fireplace makes you feel like you're back in 1800s. If you're looking for a spot to sit and hang for a while, this place is perfect. Plenty of sitting area with outlets for those who need to charge. The bathrooms are also very stylish and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the coffee much cheaper than other places ($2.75 for a latte). Now the coffee itself is a dark roast blend, so if you're a fan of that, I think you'll love it. I don't like dark roasts myself, but there's no denying the fresh, quality taste of the roast. Alternatively, they do have a single origin, and that's always an Ethiopian light roast. I personally liked that one better.

Interior was on the cozy and unique inside, inviting place Very clean , they have the option for real cups versus the paper cup. I always feel as if I'm being pampered when dining in places like this. It feels like I'm in a European coffee house with the interior high book shelves and the hard back books, I wished I could have stayed longer The Barista was kind and accommodating worked with me, I was not the average coffee Clientele I'm sure most people in the area are used to dealing with. I showed up 5 minutes before they were ready to close there was no pastries that late in the day . I couldn't suggest . I had a white Chocolate Mexican mocha.♡ Yes , it was very Tasty indeed If your one of the few people who are not the coffee lovers or diet's won't permit the Mexican white chocolate mocha was a great choice for the few who don't enjoy the taste it was a good substitute. The option with or without shots espresso.

Finally! An awesome cafe that has unpretentious, super friendly baristas who pull excellent shots. All kinds of my favorite sorts of seating: regular two-top tables, tall tables with bar stools, comfy leather club chairs (think cigar or whisky bar but with croissants and coffee), low deep chairs, and taller tables with taller stools. The space is well arranged and even with all the seating manages to feel cozy but not crowded or cluttered. The decor being to my taste would have been wasted, however, if the baristas hadn't been all-around fantastic. The heart of a place is always going to be its people, and this place has great heart.

Edit: Heads up this place is closed and has been for months, but so far none of the edit requests to Google have been applied. After getting coffee here a few times, I want to make this a part of my regular stomping grounds. It has a mellow vibe and a warm sort of ambiance. The coffee comes out quick and has always been good. It's also not too loud, which helps if you plan on getting some work done too.

This is one of the coziest cafes in all of Portland. It has armchairs and a roaring fireplace, and it's full of bookshelves. There's free wifi, the service is great, and the coffee is pretty good. It's also in a really hip, chic area of the city.
