BlackStack Brewing is a beautiful brewery located above the ever-popular Can-Can Wonderland. As a result, this place can get pretty crowded from parents seeking a break from all the chaos of the arcade next door, as well as people like me who decided the wait for mini-golf was too long and went here instead.
Parking for this place can be a huge nuisance, same as Can-Can, there is a tiny parking lot/garage immediately outside that can leave u trapped for a while if there aren't any spaces. I recommend just accepting a long walk and parking a few blocks away to avoid that level of mayhem.
When we went inside with our rather large group, we were able to snatch a table and pull some chairs and bam we were able to accommodate the whole group.
The brewery sells one thing and one thing only: beer. At the time we went, there was a small pop up selling empanadas, but the brewery's menu itself is quite small, offering a few different beers and little in the way of food barring a bag of chips.
For me, as a beer hater, I was hoping to have a seltzer or anything beer-y, but they unfortunately had no options like that. As a result, I tried to go with the least beery beer I could find - the cherry pie beer. It was one of the better beers I've tried for sure, despite hating beer, I'd say this one wasn't half bad. It was a bit sweet and had an almost smoothie sort of texture.
Overall, nice place to grab a beer, wish they offered a tad more options though!
