7 Bottomless Brunch Options In SF - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The Deal: $22 for 90 minutes of unlimited mimosas There’s always a line for brunch at Blackwood. Possibly because they don’t take reservations, and because bottomless brunch is definitely a thing here. The menu at this American Thai spot in the Marina also has lots of options, from basic scrambles to surprisingly good salads to pad thai." - Taylor Abrams, Lani Conway

Google
We more or less stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while looking for something that even 6-year-olds would eat. And voilà: the kids’ menu may only have two dishes, but they were a hit. They were also nicely presented, and for the adults, there was a much wider selection of delicious options. The food was very good. The service is super quick and friendly, and the ambiance is appealing.

I visited this restaurant with my friends for my birthday dinner after checking the Google reviews. The ambiance is beautiful, but unfortunately, the food was mediocre, and the service was terrible. We started with a few drinks recommended by the server, which were decent. However, the food lacked flavor. To make things worse, they served our main course without rice because, according to them, it was still cooking—we had to wait 15 minutes for it. The worst part of the experience was finding a hair in both the fried calamari and the salmon while my partner was eating. We immediately brought this to the manager’s attention. She apologized, removed the item from the bill, and offered us two free drinks. When we received the bill, we noticed a $70 auto-gratuity had been added. Upon questioning the manager about this, she became argumentative. We asked if she would take responsibility for any health issues my partner might face due to the contaminated food, but she outright refused. Instead, she removed the auto-gratuity but then charged us for the "on-the-house" drinks. To top it all off, we ended up with food poisoning. Be aware before dining here!

Overpriced with poor food quality Visited for lunch at 1:30 PM. Ordered beef noodle ($26+), pad Thai, and kid's stir fried noodle with chicken. Issues: Beef noodle: Tough, chewy beef with dark edges suggesting it wasn't fresh. Overpriced for what tastes like below-average pho Pad Thai: Too sweet, mediocre quality Kid's noodle: Chicken was chewy, child couldn't finish the dish. Menu unclear about noodle type Additional charges: 6% SF Employee Benefit Mandate (highest I've encountered at any SF restaurant). Combined with inflated food prices, leaves little room for proper tipping. Food quality doesn't justify the high prices and excessive surcharges. Many better Asian restaurants in the area for less money and without gouging customers on fees. Service: Standard Atmosphere: Good Price: Expensive for the quality received Would not recommend based on this experience.

Google
A great Thai fusion spot! Pad Thai was delish but the French toast could be better. Overall service is pretty good. Got seated right away for a Saturday around noon.

Google
We were just walking by from out of town and happened into Blackwood for Brunch and it did not dissapoint! Service was above and beyond.... drinks never went under half way. All 4 of our food dishes were amazing and no one in our party was dissapointed. The vibes were good and decor beautiful inside. I don't always give 5+ stars and this place is a 10! We will be back next time we are in town for sure!

Google
I think it’s very trendy but that’s about it. It’s a cute spot. Anyway. My drink was horrible (they didn’t even charge me). My friends chicken was so dry she couldn’t finish. My dish was okay. Just okay. The reason I’m giving 2 stars for the food is also because I got food poisoning. My friends said the brunch is better though. Idk. Not coming back

Google
Outstanding spot for brunch. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, great food in pretty gigantic portions… hard to go wrong.

Google
Chixwaff might be #1. It looked like bone in but was not. Had a lil spice to it as well as the syrup. Waffle has like a crispy sweet edge to it. Plus had fruit just to not make it ridiculously unhealthy. 10/10

Yelp
On a Friday night, they are BUSY. Ran out of all the dishes I ordered. Dishes: best to ok 1) Halibut: must get dish 2) Sexy Aloha 3) Ahi Scoops (4 total) 4) Mieng Kum Kung Logistics: -parking is super hard -accepts cc -can make reservations

Yelp
The Thai shakshuka lacked flavor and tasted pretty bland. The hot stone pot chicken had an unexpectedly strong fishy taste. On the bright side, the chicken and waffles were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. The ciabatta chicken sandwich, however, was another miss--bland and unremarkable. Service was really slow, though that might've been due to the crowd. The place itself felt cramped and a bit uncomfortable.

Yelp
3.5 stars, but I always round up! The good: cheerful and attentive but not intrusive service. Pomegranate & quince iced tea (unsweetened). Thank you, servers! Cute, modern faux botanical decor. Perfectly souffléd eggs, wonderfully crispy (deep-fried) mix of potatoes, generous portion. Three deliciously seasoned and perfectly seared shrimp elevated the chicken sausage crumbles. Don't know where they source their sweet potatoes from but they are very good. The Meh: Overall a solid American brunch choice but it was missing *something*--I'll call it an Asian Fusion "punch." I asked for chili sauce. Waiter clarified, did I want "Thai chilies" or "the sauce"? I chose sauce because I like the tang and consistency, and most importantly, serranos are about my limit. Thai bird chilies are too much for me. I was disappointed that the sauces turned out to be Tapatío, Cholula, and Tabasco, which I always want for Mexican food, but there are infinite varieties of wonderful Thai, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, etc. sauces available in San Francisco. I really hate to (and usually don't) ask for extras, but the green onions I requested next really brightened the flavor. What would I have added? Glad you asked. A couple cilantro sprigs, half a lime, green onions sprinkled over the potatoes, and definitely a small side of something like a Thai roasted chili paste or a Chinese chili-garlic paste, but those are only my preferences. The little things (no points deducted--just nitpicky observations): Curly parsley a weird garnish choice. Looked much better with just the wilted scallion strips. Bottom of eggs didn't look burned but had an unpleasant scorched taste. Made the difference between my taking a box and leaving what was on my plate. I really did enjoy this meal and will be back.

Yelp
The staff was super sweet in seating us on a busy Sunday brunch. The food was a bit heavy for my taste but still quite delicious. The interior is SO beautiful! FOOD [4/5] ========= + French Toast (4/5) Delectable goodness. A bit too sweet and fried for my taste, but it's a really great order if you don't think about the healthiness. :P + Hot Stone Pot (4.5/5) Really amazing portion size for the price. Also a good ratio of meat and veggies to rice! I thought that this was really well-flavored with a slight spicy kick. + Ahi Scoops (4/5) These were a pretty cute appetizer! I thought the ahi didn't taste exceptionally fresh for some reason and the flavor wasn't too developed, which is why the rating is a bit lower. But I really liked how much seaweed salad there was and the portion size is good for the price! Overall Blackwood was a pretty good experience for brunch in SF. Would definitely recommend that Hot Stone Pot, but I would experiment with the other dishes we ordered if I were to come back again!

Yelp
This is my second time going to Blackwood and my experience is even better than last time. To start, the staff here is so sweet. They are so happy to provide recommendations if you don't know what to order - one waitress was kind enough to share me their tea brand because I liked it so much! The interior is also really aesthetic and there's a decent amount of indoor seating. For appetizers I highly recommend the Mieng Kum Kung. The prawns were so crispy and delicious + the little sauce w/ garlic on it was amazing. I can eat 20 or so of those myself. It's one of those dishes where you'd be like - can I have the last piece? I also go the Kabucha fries which are comforting if you have it with some hot tea on the side on a cold day haha. I was surprised to find that it wasn't greasy at all. For drinks, I can't give enough praise to the coconut matcha. A must have if you love coconut as it had little coconut bits in its! As for the entree, get the chef's special - Fried Chick. It's huge and comes with an amazing curry dipping sauce. The portion is big enough to be shared or you can take it home for the best leftovers of your life. People kept asking for another bite of it after I let them try a bit haha.

Yelp
I will say this place seems a lot better for their proper brunch menu. We went around 3 pm on Saturday and the menu they gave us was a lot different than the one I saw online for takeout. Kinda sus. I feel like this place was a bit overhyped. They have the artificial floral arrangements around the restaurant in a very similar fashion to son+ garden. The food overall was alright but it won't have me thinking about it later. The pimped up ramyun was similar to the one you get at every other Asian fusion brunch spots. If anything this does not stack against places like Farmhouse Thai or Berkeley Social Club. They cooked the bacon really poorly and it was tough to chew. The corn ribs had so much potential but fell a little short in flavour. I really liked the way they cooked it and the slightly charred crispy texture of the corn. The chili powder was a bit bland and the only real flavour addition was the parmasean. I liked the short ribs taco. The meat was fairly tender and it was a good meat to tortilla ratio. I liked the Asian flavours. I also really appreciated the pico + guac side it came with. Also the chips seemed to be in house fried so I was pleasantly surprised (even tho it wasn't fried really well. There was too much oil soaked into the chip like they didn't use a hot enough oil to fry them or smth).

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience with my bff for his birthday!! We got there around 4p on a Sunday. The restaurant is beautiful. We were seated right away. The menu had a lot of options and the cocktail options are creative. Our meals came out hit and fresh and we both thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
This place is very pretty inside - faux flowers, tall ceilings, modern styling overall. They have a few outdoor tables with heaters as well. We were seated right away and ordered brunch. The food was great - good variety and flavors. Loved the breakfast tacos and it was a very generous portion, the lemon ricotta pancakes are delicious, and the rainbow potatoes were cooked perfectly. The service was odd. It is FREEZING inside - felt like they had the air going and the door was wide open. We asked if we could be moved (sitting in puff coats) and the waitress said no and said she would close the door. 15 minutes later, we asked again and she gave us a bit of attitude and moved us saying the owners liked it when the door was open. She apologized after, but it rubbed me the wrong way. Besides that, everyone was nice and service was efficient.

Yelp
I recently visited for a friends birthday, and we were a very large group. As expected it was a little loud (mostly us lol), which wasn't an issue. I really liked the decor, and everyone took a lot of pictures inside + outside. I ordered the breakfast tacos that were filled with eggs, bacon, avocado, and pickled onions. I felt it lacked flavor, even with salt so maybe I'd try these with sauce. My sister had the hot stone pot which was very good. Overall, service was quick, staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our brunch.

Yelp
9/10 Went here with some classmates and professors for a nice social gathering. The ambience was very nice, and the indoors are beautifully decorated with flowers and slightly dimmed lighting. The servers were super nice, and the food was amazing. We had a variety of dietary restrictions, but the menu had everything to offer. We ordered a dragonfruit drink pitcher and several beers. For food, we got the ahi scoops, pad see ew, pad khee mao, stone pot rice, panang curry (which was my personal favorite). Everything was solid and presentable. I would come back again

Yelp
Came in on a rainy day and their jok hit the spot. My friend doesn't eat pork so she asked to sub for chicken but they could not accommodate. Regardless this bowl of jok healed me inside and out. Normally with porridge it can get kinda repetitive, but every bite was different and I loved the crispiness from the bacon. I would come again to try more of their brunch items! Also keep in mind that some of their dishes aren't available until 11am!

Yelp
Been coming to Blackwood for a while now, mostly when I find myself in this part of the city, usually on weekends for brunch. Over the years, the food and service has remained consistent, offering a great variety of American/Thai fusion, delicious cocktails, and of course bottomless mimosas. The millionaires bacon is what they're known for so if you're a bacon person give it a go. I've never been disappointed regardless of if I order more Thai food, American breakfast, or a combination of the two. Pros: Good Thai/American fusion, cocktails and bottomless mimosas for brunch time Cons: Can get busy during peak times

Yelp
I can't stress enough how much I LOVE this place. Definitely one of my favorite Thai restaurants in San Francisco. Beef Noodle Soup (5/5): I get this every time I come here -- It's seriously that good. The beef broth is incredibly rich and flavorful, with just the slightest kick to it. And the beef that they put in is SO tender and soft, it literally slides right off the bone. Highly, highly recommend getting this if it appeals to you. Pimped up Ramyun (2/5): Got this once, never again. It was good, but it's literally just fancy decorated instant ramen with some good bacon. It's not bad, but there're tons of better options on the menu. Also just love the vibes inside this restaurant. Has a cool dark contemporary theme, seating can be a bit tight but overall can't go wrong. Great for a casual meal or date night.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our food and service at this place. Everything we ordered was delicious and service was quick. The place was decorated with flowers and had a nice atmosphere. When in the area it s definitely revisit for me. Only negative was parking was tough and it was a bit cold inside the restaurant.

Yelp
An absolutely great experience overall. The service was great and timely. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Friend and I went here on a Friday night and it was pretty quick to get a table! Service was friendly and the overall look of the place was very cute. Pumpkin fries - 5/5. Easily my favorite dish of the night, super crispy and delicious and the dipping sauce was perfect with it. It was tempura style so it wasn't greasy and was actually quite filling. Pad see ew (no egg) and green curry, both with chicken - 4/5. We got pretty full off apps we were unable to finish but pretty solid dishes. Noodles were a bit oily for what I prefer but didn't take away from the overall flavor or experience. Green curry had a nice spice level and paired well with the rice. Overall would come here again but portions were pretty big so I recommend starting out with one main to share or at least expect some leftovers. Drinks were pretty good! Nothing to write home about but we're still great with the meal.

Yelp
I've always had a strong preference for Asian food, and this brunch spot really hit the spot with the Thai fusion. I went at around 11am on the weekend and there was not a huge wait. Food: Marina jok moo 10/10: a good balance between savory and spicy/sour. The bacon added a very nice touch to the texture Moco Benny 8/10: first bite was really good but then the sauce got pretty heavy Really nice ambiance and a cute date spot for anyone trying to find options and recommendations!

Yelp
Starting the year off with some deliciously looking Brunch food over at Blackwood. Our hotel was near by and we weren't looking to go somewhere too crowded and wanted something after checking out our hotel. Walked in around 10:15 and there was only 1 other party inside. So we really didn't need our reservation but glad we had one just in case. The exterior has a little patio which could be used for bigger groups as the tables were longer. While the tables inside were more designed for groups of 2 or 4. Their menu consist of traditional Thai food but with a modern twist which is always a hit for me when I try new places. I had ordered the Moco Benedict which I assumed was like a Loco Moco. But was very wrong since they used a kimchi pico de gailo along with using a sauce made from cheese pimento (Which I loved) Loved this so much that I asked for a side of the Cheese Pimento Sauce as it went beautiful with their assorted Purple, Yellow, and Sweet potatoes. They had a hint of thyme or rosemary in them that made them irresistibly delicious. (Wouldn't also just ordered this on it's own) The Thai Tea Latte was also a surprisingly new favorite of mine as I realize, I've never had a Hot Thai Tea before. Would come back for this. Overall the vibes were very nice inside and a great meal to start of 2025

Yelp
At Blackwood, for brunch, I did dine, Where Thai fusion flavors combine. The crab omelette's a dream, And that bacon, supreme, With coffee so rich and divine! The Millionaire's Bacon's a treat, So crispy, so perfectly sweet. Their service is kind, With flavors refined, A brunch spot that's hard to beat! The outdoor seating's a thrill, With vibes that are cozy and chill. I'll surely be back For that Thai fusion snack, This place is a total uphill!

Yelp
Always one of my favorite spots for brunch+ bottomless. Been here so many times and I always order their black stone Benedict with the famous millionaires bacon. Everything ingredient just fits harmoniously with the sweetness and slight hint of spice from the bacon to the crunchy texture from the asparagus. Beautifully astethic dish. Pretty good spot for bottomless mimosas however there are only 2 flavors, raspberry and orange. 60 mins. Use to be longer or I got older lol. Generally the servers are great , but couple times there were some really mean ones. My last visit they passed out my meal to another person in my party and instead of a new one they gave me theirs. Adding to the fact that it came out in 3-5 mins, it was cold and I'm assuming it was just sitting there in the back waiting for someone other customer to order it. Usually great but last visit kind of ruined my mood.

Yelp
Overall still a good option for Thai fusion brunch in the area, but place is on pricer side, and service can feel rushed / little rude. Got the blackwood egg plate, and the congee (jok moo). Egg plate with bacon, and side of potatoes was solid, but pricey at $26. The congee (jok moo) is also a favorite for me here, and it probably some of best thai congee Ive found in the city. Price went up from last year, and is now $21. Knocking a star off this trip because service was a bit rough around the edges. For example, the congee comes with a poached egg, and was trying to see if they could provide a completely cooked option. After a lot of back and forth, server came back and said they could do poached hard (which tbh still isn't fully cooked), or I could just get the congee without the egg. I wanted to see if they could just scramble the egg, but server said two scrambled eggs would be $5. Also, our table didn't have ketchup, and when we asked waiter, waiter said that we can ask one of the tables next to us for ketchup. Waiter also spilled water (while filling up a glass) on a portable speaker (the table next to us had)-- I don't think it damaged it, and they wiped it shortly after, so I can see they were trying. Prices went up, and bill includes a 6% employee mandate, and tipping options start at 20%. Im happy to support local businesses, and overall I love the food here, but service needs some polish.

Yelp
Went here on a Sunday during lunchtime and there was no line but was busy! The decorations were very cute and aesthetic since there are a bunch of flowers everywhere. My group ordered some burgers and their bottomless mimosas ($26). They only have raspberry and orange juice for the bottomless. Really enjoyed my experience here since the servers were very nice and helpful with the menu.

Yelp
Our Christmas Day at Blackwood was nothing short of magical! The festive atmosphere was elevated by the beautifully decorated space, making our holiday dining experience exceptionally cozy and inviting. Here's what we savored: * Ahi Scoop: These elegantly presented bites were a fresh and delightful start to our meal. The ahi was seared to perfection, and the seaweed salad base added a nice crunch. * Green Curry with Seafood: The curry was rich and perfectly spiced, enveloping the fresh seafood in a warm, flavorful embrace. It was a comforting dish that felt right for a chilly Christmas day. * Chicken and Waffle: A perfect balance of sweet and savory, the crispy waffle paired wonderfully with the succulent, well-seasoned chicken, enhanced by a drizzle of syrup. * Moco Benny Benedict: This unique take on a Benedict featured a spicy, savory sauce that gave a nice heat to the tender eggs and wagyu, making it a memorable part of our brunch. * Drinks: The Spiced Soy Milk with Lavender, Coconut Mocha, and Hot Chocolate with Cream were each a treat, offering warmth and comfort with every sip, complementing the chilly weather outside. Dining at Blackwood on Christmas was an exceptional experience that added a special touch to our holiday. The staff was attentive and made sure everything was perfect, contributing to a festive and joyous meal. Highly recommend for a festive and delicious holiday outing!

Yelp
A really great place to go to Brunch! The service was excellent, very attentive and helpful with any questions about the menu and help finding an option that you will be pleased with. The food was all very delicious and good sized portions. The really cherry on top of all of this was the pretty ambiance of the restaurant. The flowers and colors all complimented each other really well. Overall great experience here, no regrets!

Yelp
Let's start with dessert because, honey, the Mango Sticky Rice was giving everything! One bite, and I was transported back to my childhood. I swear, I haven't tasted mango sticky rice this divine since my grandfather was alive. Sweet, creamy, and perfectly balanced--if you don't try this, you're playing yourself. Now, let's talk about the Chicken and Waffles. Whew! That plate was a masterpiece. The waffle was soft and buttery with just the right amount of fluff, and the crispy chicken? Chile, it had that crunch. And don't get me started on the fresh fruits--it was like a party of flavors in my mouth. It's the kind of dish you take a picture of and dream about later. 10/10, would absolutely recommend. Then there was the 1% Burger... Listen, I was already full, but this burger whispered, "Don't stop now." And who am I to argue? It was juicy, flavorful, and unapologetically decadent. I ate it like I had no shame, and honestly? I regret nothing. The vibe of Blackwood sealed the deal. Sure, I had my doubts going in, but of course, TikTok convinced me (and for once, it didn't disappoint). The restrooms? Spotless. The host? Made us feel like family. If you're looking for amazing food and top-tier hospitality, this is the spot. Run, don't walk, to Blackwood. Your taste buds deserve this. You're welcome.

Yelp
Went to Blackwood for brunch and it was a good experience! They have tons of options to choose from and many of them looked good! I got the breakfast tacos and my friend got the Shakshuka. We both liked our dishes and were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes! The tacos themselves tasted great and the potatoes were yummy as well! The only thing I was just okay about was the coffee, not bad but not that enjoyable either. It is very popular so if you have a big group would definitely make reservations.

Yelp
Came in on a Friday night before some festivities. Overall the food was good but lacking a "wow" factor. Every dish tasted as expected but I wanted a lot more flavor. My fave thing was the pumpkin fries. The fried chick was dry :/. But the curry paired with it helped. The staff was super nice and accommodating. After looking at the menu and other reviews , I want to come back and try brunch.
google avatar

Cara M.

Yelp
Second time here for brunch- got the bottomless mimosas as well as the thai shakshuka and the lemon ricotta pancakes. Mimosas are good with checking in and pouring- they have you on a timer for 60 minutes but for $26 per person it's a good price for what you get. Big portions of food- pretty tasty with lots of flavor. Good fluffy pancakes and the thai shashuka was sizzling hot- maybe an extra piece of bread would have been nice with this as it's a lot of liquid for just one small slice- or order a side of potatoes or wedges or something. Went on a saturday so it was busy- the table we sat at was a long communal type table so if you don't mind bumping elbows with other people then you don't have to wait too long, to get a table might be a short wait during the busy weekends. Nice airy vibe with indoor and outdoor seating, quick service with food.

Yelp
i've been here twice, once with 1 other person and the other time with a group of 7. they don't take reservations for weekend brunch, but we were told that there shouldn't be a wait if we come 11 or earlier. the indoor space wasn't too big and it didn't look like there were many large tables, so i would say 7 is the largest group i would come here with. they added a chair at the end of the table for us, but it was in a bit of an awkward position as it was near the door and the tablet. we didn't have too much free space at the table. the interior is really pretty and well-decorated - there's a lot of flowers. but i feel that the small space detracts from the ambiance a bit. there's not much space in between tables. it was november when i went with the large group so the temperature was getting colder. we were pretty chilly because the door was open, and surprisingly it was warmer outside than inside once we exited. i got the (hot) spiced almond lavender drink, and found it to be a little too bland for my taste. their specialty cocktails looked interesting, although no one in my group ordered one. the blackstone benedict is my go-to order at these berkeley social club-esque fusion brunch restaurants. blackwood has more of a thai influence so there were carrots and purple potatoes in the dish. at first i thought there was no bacon so i was disappointed, but i realized that it just wasn't immediately visible. i do think i prefer the berkeley social club blackstone benedict (which is also $2 cheaper, but that might just be the berkeley vs sf price difference). overall this is a decent brunch spot in a great location (marina), but i'm not sure it would be my top choice brunch spot in the city. i've heard that the bottomless mimosas is worth it though.

Yelp
Can you add more than five stars !? This place is a 10/10 everything was so good and fresh. The servers were so kind and accommodating ! Everything is Very affordable as well ! I can't wait to go back to visit it's so beautiful here

Yelp
We came pretty early on a weekend for brunch and were seated almost immediately! We primarily came for the bottomless mimosas but the food was so good too. I ordered the pad kee mow with mild spice and it was delicious!! The noodles were cooked perfectly so that they had good chew to them and I found the dish super flavorful overall. Probably one of the best pad kee mows I've had! I also tried the shakshouka and it was good as well, it kind of reminded me of the traditional Chinese tomato egg dish but in a skillet. Super unique to put tom yum broth in it though! I definitely want to come back to try more of their brunch items, I loved that their menu had such fun variety!!

Yelp
This restaurant has a great selection from drinks to food and great customer service! Everything my friends and I ordered were flavorful and delicious! Coconut matcha latte: not too sweet, I'm a matcha fan so the coconut complimented the matcha Hot stone pot with mango chicken: this dish had a good mixture of mushrooms, bell peppers, and protein. I really enjoyed the flavor and this portion was big enough for two, I was only able to finish half haha. Not yo average ramen: the presentation for this dish was nice but the taste was even better! This is my friend's go-to dish, she enjoys the stir fry noodles with the bacon as well too!

Yelp
It is beautiful inside with all these flower decors on the wall, looks like an enchanted forest . Most of all the food is great, the distinct taste is awesome with each bite! Our family truly enjoyed the fast service and the attention of the servers. Will definitely recommend this place for dining. Prices are reasonable, serving is sufficient, but not on the cheap side.

Yelp
The food here caters to the majority clientele that frequent the Marina. Branded as a Thai/American fusion brunch spot, the majority of the menu is standard American cuisine, such as burgers and omelettes with a few classic Thai dishes like pad Thai, pad see ew, and fried rice added to the lineup. I found the food quite lacking in flavor other than salt, and there were what appeared to be cooked frozen vegetables, not fresh, in my entree, which, after tax and tip, cost $30. Nothing so simple and baisc should cost that much, especially when the ingredients aren't high quality. Never mind the long wait time for a table. This place leaves much to be desired, and I won't be getting brunch again in the Marina anytime soon.

Yelp
Went here for Sunday brunch. The menu is a little chaotic imo but there definitely is something for everyone. I really like the Thai Shakshuka here on their brunch menu. If you come here after 11am, they also offer their more traditional Thai dishes. I had the Panang curry which I definitely recommend.

Yelp
I was waking down Chestnut looking for a spot to have my lonely burger dinner (I was alone that night). Blackwood was packed but they gave me the last table inside. Ordered the shrimp tempura and the pad Thai noodles (with pork for protein). The portions are large. Every bite was super fresh. Shrimp tempura stayed crispy. It also had a special hot powder on the wood plank that the dish was served on. This offset the sweet and sour dipping sauce. Perfect combo of taste. The pad Thai was a very large dish. It came with all the fresh fixings and mixings tossed in. My only possible comment would be that the pork came out like chicken (and I can't eat chicken). Once I pulled the pork pieces out, the rest of meal was everything I could have hoped for. Fresh fresh fresh. I highly recommend Blackwood. I wish I could give a 4.5 as this place is way better than a 4 star. Great ambiance. Better than the pictures reflect on yelp. Most of those were taken during the day. At night it is far more cozy. Enjoy!

Yelp
I usually get worried about "fusion" places but Blackwood was amazingggg! It kept popping up in my brunch search and when we asked our Truro guy some recommendations, he mentioned Blackwood first -- that's how you know this place is good. I love when a local confirms my search. We put our name on the waiting list, 100% recommend you doing the same. The wait can be long. This place is busy! Okay my group did the unlimited mimosa and I ordered the Thai tea latte, so good! We started with an order for the millionaire's bacon flight. Surprisingly the Citron bacon was our favorite. Really nice flavor. The OG one was a second favorite. Portion was big! I got the moco benny which was sooo good. But the real winner was the stone pot. Plating is beautiful, huge portion, and the food was just DELICIOUS! We took leftovers and they were still amazing the next day. Yum!! Check them out!

Yelp
This place is a busy brunch spot with bottomless mimosas. I got the burger because I was HUNGRY! My partner got the noodle soup which was rich, savory and tangy. The service was kind and friendly, however the host seemed to ignore a lot of the folks when it came to greeting and seating. Overall, great place with great Thai fusion dishes.

Yelp
We had a party of 9 for a Saturday morning, Blackwood gets very busy but they were able to seat us right away at our reservation time! Drinks were delicious and the food was great and large portions. Would definitely recommend for brunch

Yelp
Good brunch spot in the Marina! We had a large party of 7 during peak Sat time and got seated outside around an hour or so later - they did initially tell us it would be a 20-30 min but we knew better than to trust that LOL The benedicts and chicken+waffles were great :-) I thought the huge portions justified the prices too. Didn't try any non-brunch items so I'm not too sure on how they are. We also did bottomless mimosas and the servers were very attentive~

Yelp
Is there two beef noodle soups? Ours did not have a bone. It tasted like broccoli beef in water (also why is there broccoli?), the noodles were clumped together and breaking apart, and it had spinach? Did not enjoy. Pancakes were fine. Place is cute.

Yelp
I've come here twice for brunch already and both times I couldn't help devouring everything that we ordered! I love the wide variety of Thai fusion options, from sweet to savory. The portions are also decently large so it's nice to share multiple things with a group! Out of the savory options, my personal favorites are the Thai shakshuka and the Marina Jok moo. The Asian twist on shakshuka gave it more of a creamy and slightly sour taste like tomyum soup that went really well with the bread. I normally love porridge, and the Marina jok moo had a perfectly subtle savory flavor and warmed my stomach. The hot stone pot and soufflegg skillet dishes were also delicious, but I've seen them on here menus at other similar Asian fusion brunch restaurants before. Out of the sweet options, I really liked the French kiss! The French toast was both fluffy and crunchy on the outside, the crème anglaise was so light and milky, and the nuts and fruits on top added the right amount of texture and tartness. Only con was that the portion was a little small. Both times I went we sat outdoors in nice weather with a heater, and the servers are very attentive in taking our orders, filling our water, and checking in, so overall a great brunch experience both times!

Yelp
Came here on a weekend and it was crazy packed. My friend enjoyed her order but I feel like I got robbed with my pad Thai lol. It was underwhelming and overall bland. I pass by this place a lot and it's always busy, especially on weekends so I would think that they have great food?? I need to try this place out one more time and hopefully get redemption. Just don't order the pad Thai next time!

Yelp
Love this group of restaurants owned by the same owners!! The Millionaire's Bacon shirts the staff wear, is a great hint that they belong to the same restaurant group. The Asian fusion breakfast/brunch is one of our favorite and we enjoy every one of them. A group of 5 of us decided to meet here for Sunday brunch. A couple of us got here earlier and put the name down and checked in with the hostess to let her know that a couple were running a bit late and she asked us to just let her know when everyone arrives. She tried her best to save a table for us outside (we had our dog with us) and we really appreciated that!!! We started with the ahi scoops and ordered the millionaires salmon Benedict, sizzling hot stone pot rice, rice porridge, and a couple of other egg based entrees. Loved all the entrees are always. The hot stone pot was a new one for us this time and it was great. Truly loved it. The millionaires salmon was a new one was well and only seen it at the location. Really liked it but the bacon is by far superior to the salmon. The service was great as always and the staff are very helpful and friendly. All together another wonderful experience here.

Yelp
A wonderful brunch place to enjoy a weekend with your friends! We went primarily for the bottomless mimosas for an hour, and it was certainly worth it! They had two flavours - orange and raspberry, and both were great. Servers were not shy with refilling our glasses too. The Dragonfruit Bellini cocktail was also very unique and good! The food was a little more hit or miss. The Crusty French Toast was indeed quite crunchy, and the Pad Kee Mow was very authentic and delicious. However, the Hot Stone pot seemed rather disjoint in terms of flavour profile, and the Moco Benedict patty was rather disappointing, where the patty tasted rather bland. Overall, not too bad in terms of food, but would recommend sticking to the non-fusion items.

Yelp
I've been to Blackwood a few times for brunch & dinner. They are consistent & efficient. For dinner, we've the tender, braised pork belly, crispy rice that arrives in a cast iron bowl (make sure that you allow the rice to get crispy before digging in) & mango with coconut sticky rice (my favorite Asian dessert). During a recent brunch, I had the coconut matcha latte (very good) & fried chicken with waffles. It is presented as a sandwich where the chicken cutlet is sandwiched between two pieces of waffles. It was pretty good. My cousin had the egg & cheese scramble & was pretty happy with her dish. The interior is bright & modern & get get a little loud.

Yelp
Great spot for lunch brunch, patio seating. They don't have liquor but they do have sake and bubbly. I like the hot stone pot, and the curry and burger!

Yelp
Stylish, elegant filled ambiance decorated with fake flowers and wine cellars, variety of Asian-fusion menu (our group agrees if we were to return for one item it would be the hot stone pot, star of the meal for sure), and decent service makes Blackwood a lovely SF brunch spot.
