Blake's Barbecue

Stopped in late at night and they still had plenty to offer. I really enjoyed my pulled pork; husband's ribs just fell off the bone just like they should. My house made potatoes chips were delicious and I could have eaten every one. Definitely good bbq if you are in the area!

Cannot say enough good things about this place! My dad had the best catfish he's ever had and my brother said if he was on death row he'd ask for Blake's as his last meal. Everything we had was great! The pulled pork, the brisket, the Mac and cheese, the beans, the fried okra - it was all excellent!! Tony and the other staff were so kind and attentive! Our food came out quick and was hot! The fried pies were to die for! You need to eat here! 12/10 recommendations from me and my family!

I ordered at early dinner time, it was pretty empty. I got a rack of ribs, loaded potato, 3 meat platter and a fried pie with ice cream. The ribs were so tender the cartilage was gelatinous and had good flavor. The cinnamon brown sugar ice cream was great with the blueberry fried pie.

In the last several months, I have had issues with the quality of meat I have received from several barbecue restaurants so I decided to give this one a try and I’m sure glad I did. I’ve been here twice & ordered barbecue sandwiches with their homemade chips and 1 rib sandwich, both times the food has been really good and their barbecue sandwiches are not full of fat and gristle. I really like their homemade chips and the seasoning they put on them. The service is always great, very friendly staff. The only small complaint I have is I didn’t expect the rib sandwich to come with the bones, but other than that this place has exceeded my expectations.

Fresh crispy okra and cheesy potatoes were awesome. Chopped brisket and pulled pork both have a great flavor. They were just a tiny bit dry, but tasted wonderful. Bbq sauce also has a great flavor. We will be returning for sure!

Thought it was strange that the sliced prime brisket was an additional charge. Is the chopped brisket not prime? The order line moved slow, the cashier took a phone order instead of waiting on the customers in front of us, but the delivery of our food was even longer. Don’t come in for a quick bite…. The wife’s food came out after 22 minutes but mine didn’t arrive yet. A few minutes later my food arrived. Looked great. Chopped brisket is dry. Original sauce is great. Cheesy potatoes were good. Baked beans were fine as well.

Highly recommend! Economical & delicious! My family & I grubbed down and really enjoyed this BBQ! The atmosphere was chill & relaxing, the store was clean & the staff was friendly and as mentioned already...the food was bomb! 💣🔥 Loved the chicken & smoked sausage... absolutely worth the drive and if I could afford it...I would drive down from Tulsa just for the food...that's how good it was!! Way to go, guys! 👏

Fantastic customer service to start off with. I was made to feel welcome when I walked through the door and while I was placing my order. Portion size was generous and the price point was right where is should be for quality BBQ. The Mac and cheese and smoked sausage we okay nothing to write home about. Baked beans had a good flavor. The brisket was the star of the show as it should be. Excellent smoky flavor. Very tender if you are a fan of lean brisket this is the brisket for you. I highly recommend the brisket at Blake's BBQ, especially if prefer lean brisket.

Rainy November afternoon for lunch. Ordered the two meat plate with two sides. Pulled porked and chopped brisket, neither with much flavor other than the smoke, really good smokey flavor profile but fairly dry. Could use some seasoning, salt, pepper, something. Baked beans nothing special, seemed as though they came from a can, don't believe are made from scratch. Order mac-n-cheese but somehow got a cheesey potato mixture. Descent flavor, probably the best tasting item on my plate. Service was good, friendly people. Restaurant is clean. Ambiance simple, can't think of anything after my visit that stood out. I would not return for the same items. I want my BBQ fresh-cut, pulled, or chopped in front of me, not resting in a pan waiting to be served. That explains the dryness. Not a horrible visit, would put the place as average BBQ, nothing close to what I can smoke at home.

Love their smoked chicken! Their home chips are my favorite side. The coleslaw, green beans, and baked beans are all also great options. Come on down and try their daily lunch specials it's a great deal for quality food!

Absolutely stellar! Some of the best brisket I've ever tasted! Low key environment but the service was fast and friendly. Very clean as well! We definitely will be back!

The food was amazing. Everything I had was on point called the store for sauce and it was already supplied. Definitely recommended!!!

Great Place to eat! Can't wait to go back. The Ribs were wonderful. The service was friendly. Enjoyed the Cherry Fried pie with a scoop of ice cream. The Restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place.

Very disappointed. Ribs were tender, but no flavor. They reminded me of ribs that were cooked in a crockpot. The okra needed to be cooked a little longer. It wasn't crunch. The cheesy potatoes even lacked favor.

Wow, so good. Stopped here because I was hungry and didn't know what it was. Left very happy and full. Got some brisket, with beans and Mac and cheese very happy with everything. Even met the owner! Nice guy and gave me some fun suggestions for next time. Looking forward to coming back and trying some wings!

Had a chopped brisket sandwich and a side of potato salad. Both were good! I liked that it was not a mustard potato salad. They have a regular and spicy sauce. I tried the regular, and it was sweet with a nice flavor. Next time I'll try the spicy. The staff was super friendly, and seemed very accommodating to the other guests. They were on top of the customer service, and got the food out quickly. Great food & great service!

Blakes is now under new management... the new owner and manager are super friendly, and they have worked tremendously hard at improving both the quality of the food and the quality of the service. The place has been expanded to include a large dining area, with large TVs for your convenience. Blakes has become a completely different experience than it was before.

Was not impressed. Food had no flavor. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. Area looked safe.

Great food, large portions and great prices. The ribs with the spicy sauce are delicious!

Its a nice place, very clean and friendly staff. We had the 3 meat combo: chicken breast, ham and pork ribs w/ mac n cheese and green beans with a toasted slice of white bread and a pulled pork sandwich w/ homemade chips followed by delicious banana pudding and soso cobbler (it was all sweet bread no peaches- it may have been the last piece). There's no kids meal menu but I just shared my 3 meat combo with my 7 yr old daughter. Good was delicious we will def make this a go-to for bbq.

Had the pull brisket sandwich and it was good. It was served with homemade chips which may have been the worse thing I've ever ate, they were soft from the grease and had no flavor. I would recommend they ditch the chips for anything else. It was also very hot and uncomfortable, service was good.

Got the lunch special which was pulled pork sandwich with two sides and a drink. I had pinto beans and green beans with it. The green beans tasted like they had just been poured out of a can and heated up. The pinto beans had no flavor at all. The pulled pork was ok, but not a whole lot of flavor. The bbq sauce was ok too. Figured I would try it since it is close to my work, but not worth going back to again.
