"We go to Blake’s Kitchen for the Guinness cake, and to romanticise our mornings with creamy lattes and the kind of pretty dried flower arrangements usually reserved for high-end clothing stores. This Clanfield spot is always busy, with people popping to the post office located within the cafe, and leaning on bags of Shipton Mill flour as they shout their orders in the direction of the till. If you can’t grab a seat inside, there’s a tipi-style tent strung with fairy lights out front where lycra-clad cyclists throw back tasty, generously iced cinnamon buns. You can’t go wrong with this brunch menu, but if the crispy chicken eggs benedict is on, it’s going to be a great day. " - sinead cranna

we were there for breakfast. We were outside with our dog. Ordered inside and then brought to the table. We ate salmon with scrambled eggs and cinnamon buns with yogurt. plus two coffees and orange juice. Unfortunately, the cups and substitutes were not clean - as was the cutlery, which you had to take with you inside. The food was extremely tasty and a really large portion.

Excellent breakfast place with wonderful sourdough bread and other cakes and pastries! Full English (with scrambled eggs) - 4.5/5 Vege Full English (with poached eggs) - 3.8/5 Saw someone else had the salmon and scrambled eggs on toast and that looked really good too…half regret not ordering that instead!

We had visited a handful of times and never repeated our order. All the food we tried had been great. We had sandwiches today. They were very delicious. To be specific the pulled pork sandwich and sandwich with avocado, halloumi and fried egg were very delicious. I've never left the place without a loaf of sour dough. It would be wise to have them slice the bread. We struggled even though we had a pretty good bread knife.

Absolutely wonderful experience, would give it 6 stars if I could. Rolled up solo on my motorbike after spotting it on Shed and Buried or similar. Was blown away by an incredible three cheese toastie on fresh sourdough with shoestring crisps and lovely crunchy fresh coleslaw. Could tell the chef really cared. I'll be back to sample the amazing looking cakes. Great spot and biker friendly.

The food was so tasty and there was so much choice! I had a full English and my partner had chorizo hash, both were amazing. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Staff were lovely and thoughtful, wishing cyclists a safe journey as they left. Decor was cool, lots of seating and just generally a very good place to visit.

Lovely place in a beautiful village! From brunches to cakes and doughnuts. They have the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had! Staff is very friendly and they have evolving menu with seasonal options. Highly recommended!!
