This was the best looking/tasting burger I have experienced at Blake’s in quite a while. The vegetables were fresh, lettuce was bright green, crispy tomatoes and onions. It had several pickles and the bread was fresh and didn’t fall apart when you picked it up. Although the staff could be friendlier and smile, the building was a little dirty and the restrooms needed cleaning, it was a great meal and I will be sure to come back.

My partner picked me up a burrito yesterday morning, and it was a let down. The hash browns were burned and tasted dry like they have been out for a while. The burrito overall was really salty and not good.

This place is amazing! Plus all day breakfast!?, heck yes!! I love the cold brew coffee they made it just rights not to sweet and not to bitter, plus the food is so worth the wait!! Always fresh, tasty and warm, they know how to cook!!! Chili is perfect, I love the #1 so much!! This place is way better then the other locations I go to! Keep up the good work guys! Thank you all for the warm welcome!

You know what I like most about Blake's? I like its long lineage as a meaningful New Mexican restaurant/fast food joint. You wanna know what Blake's has become since it was bought out? Pure unadulterated trash. Food is still okay, but the prices sky rocketed. Service plummeted. In fact, if you plan on going to Blake's, prep to sit in your car for 30-45 minutes for a sad excuse of a meal. If youd rather better service/quality, dine-in. However, my current recommendation is just to avoid this chain

I visited this location because they serve all day breakfast. I went through the drive through on my way to work and ordered a #6 burrito. They did not give me a receipt, but had me pull over to wait for my order. After waiting for 8 minutes I pulled around to park and went inside to inquire as to what the delay was for 1 burrito. Several employees made brief eye contact with me as I stood at the register awaiting assistance but NONE addressed me. After a little over a minute I asked if someone would address me at which point someone finally came to the counter. I asked why it was taking so long for 1 burrito. The gentleman grabbed my burrito, put in in the bag and asked me if I wanted a drink. I definitely accepted the drink for my time and frustration, but by no means was I satisfied with the service. My burrito also tasted funny (I've had them often). I prayed over it and ate it whereas I was already on the road and hungry, but was/am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the experience. Do better....

If you're going to stop making food before 10:00 p.m., then change the closing time on your website. It is so annoying to look up the closing time for a store, to drive, and to make it to the store with plenty of time before it closes, only to arrive and learn that they've stopped making certain menu items. This is a problem at many different blakes, and it's often shakes, but it's also just in general this problem where y'all actually aren't full service up until your closing hours, and that is just so damn frustrating, as somebody who often only is able to get out to places like this after work pretty late. I pull up a phone, there are a number of restaurants that close at 10:00 p.m., I have just enough time to pick out a restaurant, and I pick Blake's. And the trip ends in disappointment, and now everything's almost closed. Guess I'll go to Wendy's and get a frosty. Either offer your menu until closing, or close earlier. Don't bait and switch, don't make me waste my gas or time on "Sorry we stopped making that." And pay your employees better, and pay them what you owe them for staying later, so they can keep your kitchen full service. Whatever, I'm just mad cuz ur shakes are good.

Do NOT go to this location. Waited 15-20 minutes for a cold burrito?? You place an order at the voice box, pay at the window, then drive around the entire building to line up with a bunch of other cars on back order waiting for there food. It’s horrible!

Unfortunately, the morning/ afternoon at this Blake's did not go as planned. The restaurant was colder than necessary. The food came out cold even after taking well over 30 minutes to be prepared. The drive thru was given precedence over in store customers, and many guests had left before receiving food due to lack of attention from staff. The fountain drink area was also lacking attention. Overall, very unsatisfactory experience.

So I came and tried Blake's burgers just to see what's the hype about, first of the service was horrible very rude teenage girl not really helpful they expect you to know there menu, well now the food the burger it was ok the size was good the meat taste like it's was premade like boiled not grilled fries were basic there drink station was good they had a lot of verity, back to the burger they just need a secret sauce and grill there meat and it would of been better

Called to place an order while traveling, from one computer to another computer, finally someone answers from India, couldn't place an order for 20 minutes, why can't you just call the store directly. Lousy service and communication. What happened to talking to an actual person.

I keep giving Blakes chances and they consistently fail. This store I drove through for a NM Lotaburger. There were two vehicles waiting when I pulled up, I paid for the order and drove around to park as directed. A few minutes later the second car in the wait line was served and left. About 5 minutes after that, both the first vehicle and I received our bags. Evidently neither of us checked contents as both of us drove away directly since it appears the staff put my order in their bag and mine in theirs. Instead of the single burger with green chile, I ended up with two stripped down Itsa burgers. (Lettuce only on one, and tomato and onion with maybe mayo on the other.) Of course I discovered this when I got home 15 minutes later. Bad on me for not checking before I drove off, but seriously; two pm, not busy, but they manage to screw up two orders. Add to that, the burgers look half the size they were in the 2000-2007 era. I just can not recommend them. I'm honestly shocked they still have such a following.

One car in front of me. Ordered an Itsa combo told to pull over. Waited almost 25 minutes for my order. While I waited only one other car in the drive thru and they pulled her behind me. I asked to speak to a manager and was told to go inside if I wanted to speak to a manager. Will never go here again. Employee had no sense of urgency or even apologized for the ridiculous wait time. They weren't even busy at the time.

Ordered food. Went to window, where I received my drink and then was directed to drive around the building to park one lane over from the window to wait the food. (It is a 'good' business plan for the owner. They have your money and you are at the mercy of them bringing your food to you, at their leisure.) Sucks for the consumer. The guy behind me, who ordered after me, got his food 5 minutes before me, but that may be due to what was ordered. 15 minutes after I place my order, my food arrives. Burger and fries ICE COLD! I MAY try another location, because the food tasted like it may be good if it was hot. But my recommendation is to skip this location. I would not give it any stars, but Yelp requires at least 1.

Expect when you order at the drive thru. For them to tell you pull around and wait 15 mins. Employee Iliana was rude ignored when I asked for her name. Maybe they should learn from the Blake's on fortuna and coors on how to be more efficient. This Blake's has no concept of time. Had to call district manger to see to get anything done for a horrible experience. This store makes me feel ashamed to say I'm from Albuquerque.

I called in my order about 9:30 am during the week. First, not a big fan of their automated ordering system. However, I appreciate it because you're not put on hold for a staff member to answer. Upon given a 15 minute wait, I arrived in 10 minutes. The drive thru was rather long, but went by quickly. The staff had our order ready and we were on our way :) I HIGHLY recommend placing your order ahead of time. The drive thru kept moving. However, they had a line of cars next to the drive thru. This was for customers who were waiting for their orders. Like other businesses, I'm sure they are short staffed (they had a "now hiring" sign on the drive thru window) . Furthermore, I'm sure there are fast and competent employees. However, it is challenging to keep up with the demand when you don't have the man power to serve quickly. Be patient and proactive by ordering ahead :) The burrito was very tasty and quite big! Nothing special or unique.

At what point will Blake's have customer service? It doesn't matter which location you go to, you will wait forever for your food. They had 5 cars parked waiting on food tonight. I like to support local and overall their food is pretty good but they have to figure things out.

Honestly, this location messed up our order. First order they forgot to mark what each burrito was, next they made the order wrong and third time there was a long hair cooked into the egg which was in breakfast burrito! This horrible experience took so much time and energy! So disgusted! And disappointed!

don't let these "nay-sayers" this location opened up during covid and had a rough time getting their feet wet. they were slow and can be slow during peak hours BUT use the app, order ahead, it's easy, and the food is consistent. Its great and their customer service is awesome!

I lived in ABQ from about 2010 - 2016 and Blake's was one of my favorites at the time. When I came back recently to stay with friends I was very much looking forward to hitting them up. But then I saw the plethora of negative reviews here on Yelp and I had second thoughts. Nevertheless, I thought I'd find out for myself....but yeah....y'all weren't lying. My Lota Burger NM style was soggy like it had been soaked in water and the green chiles were fibrous like chewing on a corn husk. I asked for the seasoned fries to be covered with cheese and green chiles and when I got home I saw they gave me nothing but the tiny, slightly burned throw away fries that are usually at the bottom of a container. The green chiles were mostly unedible and the cheese was just a tiny bit of shreds thrown on top. This was almost $17 for all this plus a drink. I couldn't finish even a quartee of it all. Honestly, I wasn't mad....just heartbroken. If you read all these reviews and have second thoughts just like I did but still decide you want to try it anyway...consider having third thoughts. Such a disappointment and I''m actually embarrased that for years I've been recommending Blake's to friends and family traveling this way....never again

This place is in a perfect location. But when they don't take your order correctly. When they are out of stuff they don't tell you they just don't charge you. But when you get home its not there. Fries are ALWAYS cold. Like they been sitting there. They are not fresh. They are soggy and cold. I have went by a few times just to try that it's wasn't a bad day. No this is every time. Don't go.

I have been to this location twice and both visits have been disappointing. The fist visit was for breakfast and the eggs in the #2 burrito were runny and undercooked, and there was almost no meat. The second visit was yesterday at the drive through. I was told there was a twenty - thirty minute wait (at a drive through) and I chose to leave and visit Another restaurant near by. I have been noticing the quality of all their locations has been going downhill for the last year (maybe a change in management?) I no longer recommend Blake's locations and there are plenty of New Mexican burgers that won't leave you disappointed.

Just tried to to order a burger at 11:51am and was told thry srent doing any burgers till 1:30. How do you not have lunch items till 1:30. You have burger in your name and dont have burgers till after lunch time has already past.

My mom and I come to this Lotaburger at least once a week. We always place our order online and pick it up on the drive through. I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews. Everyone (especially the manager) are always so nice and always have our food ready right away. It's delicious! We love this location!

This is absolutely the worst Lotaburger in New Mexico. This location in particular can not get an order right, they are rude to the customers. I have live here all my life and sad to see what Lotaburger has become. Blake Chanslor ran a business this new group is awful.

New Mexico Exemplified... COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE! Not just here, let's admit, it's the whole chain. Thank god for places like Whataburger. I ordered online, because unlike most people in this state, I had to go attend my job, instead I show up and find the lobby locked and am told by a sign to get in the drive through. I've already ordered 30" prior, and my food SHOULD be ready, but I can't access it. I left, there's no reason I should stand in line and support the idiots who run this company.... And I can't get a refund, because no one will answer.

Just took my daughter here because she was craving Blake's which she never is so I had to jump on the opportunity to eat here . We went inside during prime dinner time. Every single staff member was super nice and friendly . Read a few other reviews that were negative about the customer service and it really just makes you think that the people complaining are rude first. I never get treated poorly when I go out places. If you show everyone respect and are friendly the energy is gonna translate back at you. This group of 4 workers that we encountered were super friendly and me and my daughter walked out of there in great moods. I also left my phone at the register which I thought I left in the car and when they found it while we were waiting for the food they gave it to me and again were very friendly . So I appreciate this location and I'm sure to come back after that great little visit. I think I've only been here a couple times but the customer service entices me to make a return when I'm looking for a fast food burger. I'm not going to try and describe these workers but it was at 5pm on Friday 9/15 I hope they get praised

Definately need to add more chile in their breakfast burritos. Got 2 bacon burritos with green chile and maybe each had a tablespoon of chile in each. Dry. More like a potato bacon burrito. Twisters & Taco Cabana on Coors are so much better. Do better LotaBurger!

I ordered three fish sandwiches because I remembered Blake's fish sandwiches being really good and I had recommended them to my mom, who has been new to Albuquerque. For starters, the fish sandwich at Blake's used to be a filet. It's now two fish sticks on a bun. That's bad enough, but when I ordered the fish sandwiches, they broke one fish stick and put it on a bun for one of the sandwiches, then had the audacity for charge full price for the sandwich! WOW! Needless to say, I went and got my money back and gave them their fish sandwiches. I was willing to give them a second chance (albeit at another location), but after seeing the reviews on here, I'm going to venture a bet and say that Blake's has lost yet another loyal customer. SAD... JUST SAD.

After much-anticipated opening, finally placed an online order. Upon pick up I had a bad feeling about this place. Not one person acknowledged me, I had to stop an employee to assist me. Long story short, assoc wasn't very kind or helpful, no ice in drink, got home, order wrong, burger so soggy bun fell apart, smothered in chili when I asked on side, meal was ice cold and soda was incorrect flavor. What a disappointment; obviously "leadership" and training at this location are light years behind their neighboring competitors Chick-fil-A, Panera, etc. did I also mention that the onion "rings" were just as terrible as everything else?

I've gone to this locations too many times in hopes it will get better. They always get my order wrong and I've gone back more than 5 times to get my correct order. I ask for extra green chile on my burritos and they charge for it but I never get what I pay for. The hash browns are not browned and are mashed potato like. Tortillas never warmed enough. It's not hard to roll a burrito but it's never rolled right and always falls apart. If you call to speak with a human the number routes you to a call center where they transfer you to this location and it just rings and rings. I waited on hold for more than 30 minutes. Go to Blake's Lotaburger - 641 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87121, United States for a LEGIT Blake's Meal. They are amazing! Avoid this new location it's a waste of time and money. Drive the extra 3 minutes for 1,000x better quality and service...

****DO NOT eat here****This place is disgusting! We waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes to receive our order because they only had "4 workers" available and "short staff". We get home to eat our burgers and find out they were NOT fully cooked! We tried to contact the location but we're unable to get ahold of them after waiting on hold for 30 mins. We called the next day and told the manager Beatrice about our situation. We were provided another order with uncooked, raw burgers! This place has been given 2 chances on 2 separate days and still could not manage to get the burgers cooked. We called to complain about our 2nd order and still have not received a response. It's not worth waiting or spending money on an uncooked burger so I would avoid this Blake's at all costs!! Just because your short staff doesn't mean serve uncooked burgers, you get paid hourly not per burger you cook..

This is by far the worst Lotaburger I've ever been too!!! I've tried them 4 times now and each time they get it wrong! The customer service is awful too when you call them out on their mess ups! I literally hope they shut down! Never going back and I'll continue to tell others not too as well!!

They aren't even that busy but yet both times I've come they have me wait in a parking spot for 20-25 minutes to wait for one burrito and one burger seriously how hard is it to make two items and not to mention they don't even bring out the food in order see people park next to me for 5min and get there food before me hate this location Update took 30min to get my food anf when they finally brought out my food guy doesn't say anything no here's your order no sorry about the wait just stares at me and hands me food Jesus I could have got better service in a jail cafeteria could train monkeys to do a better job then these clowns

I waited about 40 minutes in the drive thru line, and turns out when I got my order it was missing multiple times. They didn't add fries or My lotaburger. When I called to have my order corrected no one ever answered after calling three times. Please take my recommendation and do not come to this location. Terrible service and I will never come here again.

Went to Blake's for breakfast burrito and my wife wanted to try their iced coffee. This place smh- they rush to take your order then pull uou off to side to not run up DT times. But their line of pulled cars is as long or longer than regular line. Obviously this location is still poorly run and rather work on cheating their numbers than actually improving their sorry service. Maybe we will try again in another 6months

TERRIBLE...don't waste your money getting nasty burgers and cold fries. We were not the only customers upset with their order. Orders obviously had mistakes when received by the number of customers going back to the counter to complain. Lots of other places in ABQ to eat, just don't go to this one. What happened to the old BLAKE's we knew and loved??? Even wrote a Monkey Survey review to management and never even got an acknowledgement. What does that tell 'ya. Poor quality and service starts from the top on down.

Born & raised here in Albuquerque & Blake's has always been a favorite. This is our first time coming to this new location and it was not the same the itzaburger wasn't good at all. My daughter got chicken strips thank god I looked at them before them to her they weren't your normal chicken strips it was more like a chicken breast and it was completely raw I'm not one to ever complain but she could of gotten sick ...

All the Albuquerque Blake's have gone downhill. The more the business grows the worse it gets. They changed to an automated phone service which, I cannot even express how badly it works! The service at most locations is awful. Used to be fast working lovely abuelitas now it's slow ungrateful rude high schoolers. Such a shame this local spot has gone so downhill.

The only reason I'm giving it 1 star is 0 stars is not an option. I've tried this place 3 times since it opened and have yet to get a correct order. Today I was given the wrong order in the drive-thru. Went inside waited forever and git home WITH THE WRONG ORDER AGAIN!!!!!! That's it - no more chances.
