Blanc by Aytems

To be honest, food is not very impressive to me. However, we brought a very good wine, a 2002 château Mouton Rothschild,and the waiter served it very well! We had a great evening, thanks.

This is a delightful addition to the city's culinary landscape. The chef, embodying the highest standards of gastronomy, offers a unique and innovative menu that masterfully blends Ottoman and European flavors. Each dish, from the first bite to the last sip, was a delightful surprise, showcasing the creativity and skill of the kitchen. The service was equally impressive, marked by warmth and professionalism. It is evident that this restaurant is not just a new venture, but a trailblazer in the culinary scene, setting new benchmarks for fusion cuisine.

Had a great meal here last night. We visited Blanc when they were still in Sint-Truiden and were happy to stop by in Antwerp at their new location. The bar downstairs is super cool and the rest of the restaurant is a nice, dark and a little eclectic due to the mix in art. The open kitchen is a nice add - we made a comment how even though it's open, we could barely hear them using a hand-blender at some point. Few small points for improvement: There was a significant wait between the last fish (lobster) and the main (veal) dish. (+1hr). Also, the awareness of the service team could be improved a bit. They walked around frequently but failed to notice our water was empty for +30mins. It also took 15 minutes to get a waiter's attention before we were able to ask for the final bill, after which we were told we had to go downstairs and pay for it at the bar. That was a bit strange.

First of all, as a Turkish, I’m proud of such a restaurant that represents Turkish cuisine in the fine dining standards. They are a very kind family running this so cute restaurant together under the leadership of their amazing professional chef (Dad). If you wonder how Turkish traditional foods can be refined with world standards, here is the fit and proper address. Lean back and enjoy the experience.

We didn't expect that Turkish fusion fine dining would be anything good, until we laid grounds on blanc by Aytems. We had a magical evening, every single bite was like heaven exploding into our mouths. From service, to drinks, to food.. we left in awe. Special thanks to the chef Aytems! 🙏👏

We actually came here by mistake, and after the staff gave us directions to the restaurant I had selected, we asked about their menu and decided to eat here. My wife and I could not be more pleased or surprised. The three course menu (which is really more like six courses), was delicious. The chef also came to the table to explain his preparations.
